Dennis Hill I just graduated from the domiciliary. This was my 8th rehab and by far the best I have been through. The staff is AWESOME, treated me with respect and taught me to believe in again. If your searching to end your addiction this is the place to be.

Martha Robertson Compared to Dallas VA Temple is great. Getting a primary is hard and they burn out fast. So I pay over 200 a month. If I want good food I go to UTSW. You can order food beats the 5 Star Restaurant. Wake up in acute care. You ask for food and they say order what you want. However when they bring Lunch and the Dr. is signing paperwork nobody will bring you a doggie bag. However do not like places that put sharp things like Iv and shots in me.

Jason Nikoley I was transferred to community care because the VA could not provide me with prompt service. Because they are lazy, they submitted the reason that I live too far away, so upon renewal it was denied. Now I am back with the VA, and I’ve been waiting two years for a specialty clinic appointment. Every time the appointment comes up, they called to cancel and reschedule it. I ordered prescription refills, and they wait three weeks before shipping them. My heart doesn’t care, I will die without my prescriptions. They are not accountable, because they are government employees, and most of them don’t care. Some of them do, but they are overburdened with too many patients. My primary care physician doesn’t even remember what we talked about in our last visit.

Mike Teague I was very well cared for during a recent 8 day stay. All of the staff was very proficient and professional. Their great team work of nurses and doctors showed great concern regarding my condition. I am saved and healed by their dedication. God bless them all, and I hope that all other veterans receive the best care possible.

Donna Cain My mother was admitted here through the ER this month. The staff communication is terrible. I asked to see a hospital supervisor and then patient relations, she was there 2 weeks nobody ever came. The Dr told us in the morning they were going to give my mom meds then do a CT and depending on the results possibly move to ICU. You think they came back that day? No they did not. They let her struggle through the day and night (and us worry) then nonchalantly moved her to ICU after they got a good nights rest. The Dr would tell her not to let anyone change her 02 settings, respiratory came in and did exactly the opposite. Diets are altered in a hospital I understand but tortillas beans and rice, tortillas and eggs with peppers every meal is just wrong, especially when shes filling out the card for what she would like to have. Now shes been home a week still recovering. This hospital calls to tell her they have a breathing machine and respiratory medications for her. They should have sent her home with them first of all. Shes still winded when she walks so she tells them to mail it. One nurse Melissa Jenkins tells her it will take a week and they really want her to have it so she needs to pick it up. This morning my Mother went to this VA and they had Albuterol but no machine. They sent her back n forth trying to get RESPIRATORY EQUIPMENT. She left without it. Not her city of residence as with most people she drove home and called, now shes told they only mail that equipment. I have never been more disgusted and angry with a hospital in my entire life and I have had some hospital experiences. Temple VA do better. There is almost always something wrong when my mother comes here from the appointment, the medication to the travel pay but this January visit takes the cake. I am available for comment and yes you can reach out to me because I still want to speak with hospital relations. Also 9 sticks before getting rapid or ICU to get a IV after its gone bad and filled her hand with medication is not ok.

tasha knox Poor Service. Was literally a min late and told I had to reschedule. Was blowing my sons nose in car and was a min late. Could clearly see he was sick but told to reschedule for following week. Never had a Dr office tell me to reschedule for being late under a small amount of time. I would understand if it was 15 mins ..20 mins..30 mins. I realized today they dont view my son or myself as a person, we are just another number.

Jacinda Price The absolute worst experience 2nd time in a row from Nosey nurse Cassandra. They tell you cant see a Dr. And HAVE to go to the emergency room and spend $400 for absolutely no reason. Called and complained and no one ever called me back to resolve this issue. Cassandra needs some serious coaching and repermanding.

Teresa Montiel First time bringing my daughter here today. From walking in until she got discharged, my daughter and I were treated promptly, with respect and understanding from the staff. Thank you to the doctors and the nurses. Best ever!

Amy Williamson Lady at the front is not vary friendly, I got my appointment times mixed up and she just had an attitude about it and was not apologetic. I understand they have time slots to keep but there is a way to be respectful and kind about situations instead of just saying "No No No No" without compassion. Some of us really have to push around our schedules to be at these appointments so I only hope the next time some compassion can be given because yes it is frustrating when these things happen

Shannon Ashbrook Ive been dealing with scott and white for the last 6 months with a few different surgeries under my belt at this point. Theyve been nothing short of fantastic. Very understanding, supportive, and have basically held my hand thru this entire ordeal. My doctor, Dr. Langsjoen is phenomenal. I just recently got a hysterectomy. The work she has done Is top notch. Minimal pain, no infections, and Im about 99% sure I will not have a scar at all. I was shocked when I pulled off the bandaging! It is upper level stuff. I just want to thank the staff at scott and white and especially my doctor. This is a tough situation, and they have helped every step of the way.

Jonathan Bellows No words can describe my frustration for urology at Baylor Scott White before seeing a urologist to get properly diagnosed, you must first go through your primary and/or perform a UT scan, which is very difficult because most primaries are booked out months in advance not to mention the urologist if an error occurs or a scheduling conflict. All that is given is a cheap convenient. I’m sorry. No no no I’m sorry for calling Baylor, Scott and White. it looks like another fruitless emergency room visit for me at the cost of mere thousands probably what they had in mind anyway

Bob Fus I was admitted to the ICU with a life threatening brain bleed in Oct 2024. The Drs, nurses and staff at the BSW hospital in Temple were the most professional, caring and kind I have ever encountered in my 80 years. The facility, the food and the staff were excellent. The post hospital care and attention to detail has been excellent also. I feel very fortunate to have had BSW there to treat me and am grateful for their services. God bless you all.

Quinnie I just had a severe panic attack in the lobby this morning due to the staff telling me I couldn’t go to my appointment because I didn’t have my ID! I normally bring ice cold water with me but this set me off not a good way! I suffer with memory loss diagnosed by Scott n white providers. I have been coming to Scott n white for more than twenty year and NEVER EVER have I been told I cannot see my Dr without a ID! This is NOT the hospital this is the clinic side and this is an inconvenience for everyone! I am disgusted with how I was treated and not even considered a person! That lady looked me straight in my face and said you don’t have a ID you cannot come in. But everybody else who was not African American she asked them if they had an insurance card or bank. WHY none of those have my picture on them. My temperature boiling I already drove 45 minutes to get to this appointment that I have been waiting on for months. Circling around the parking lot to find a handicap spot with my walker! I am in pain and quite miserable because you can’t ever find handicap parking. The staff that helped me did an amazing job helping to calm me down. My blood pressure took a serious nose dive. I was hot, crying, hungry, headache, and my feelings were definitely hurt and it’s embarrassing to be in front of strangers! I vomited nothing but water and the staff behind the counter was just talking rudely about other patients and people coming into the facility. So many had no idea they needed a id for there appt most women didn’t have a wallet or purse on them myself included. A older lady and gentlemen came in after me and the lady doesn’t carry a purse or a ID just like me they were told they cannot come in. I had to take off work which leaves my team short a person and I am just disappointed in how Scott n white changes things without making sure everybody knows and understands! I have been inside three other hospitals in the last six months Advent, Seton, and Scott n white Round rock and NONE of them let me type that again NONE of them asked for a ID to come into the hospital! This is NOT 9/11 nobody is attacking the hospital why are they making this so hard for people to see there provider. I try to donate blood ONLY to Scott n White every 90 days I am so loyal to this organization why they aren’t loyal to the patients. I support Scott n white 100% all of my care is through this place. I may need to look into getting a lawyer. Still sitting here shaking my head and I had to wait another hour and a half to get in for my appointment! RIDICULOUS

C W Thanks to a "Mr. Jordan" who proceeded to be rude and interrupting before hanging up I have zero faith in this facility after spending 15 mins on hold. After trying to establish primary care and having a few simple questions which apparently were too difficult for Mr. Jordan in enrollment to answer. Not off to a great start VA Texas, pretty sad when Carl T. Hayden center has better quality staff than you apparently do.

Reflex Clutch I was on hold for 5 hours and when someone finally answered they immediately hung up on me, this is the 8th time I have tried to call just to get assigned a PCM for them to immediately hang up on me… I have reported this location to the VA and honestly hope whoever is hanging up the phones in the eligibility department gets fired. This is beyond ridiculous.

Dragon Dragon DIRECTORS OFFICE on 2nd FLOOR, voice your complaint in person to the Director. Ask for Director or Chief Of Staff. Example: VA pharmacy will suddenly refuse to refill prescriptions stating all refills must be filled using automated system. Dont believe that, insist they refill your valid prescription. If pharmacy continues to refuse visit the Directors office. Explain issue, it is against VA policy and perhaps illegal to refuse to refill a VALID prescription.

Joshua Fourman How long does it take in you to receive help?? Well on July 21, 2022 I received a call from the community outreach section that schedules for medical appointments in the community. The lady tells me sir we received a referral for your physical therapy back in January. I said youve got to be kidding me 8 months later you guys finally call me back to schedule me for more physical therapy appointments now I need to have the surgeon look at my ankle because its damaged worse. Today I try to call the temple VA to talk to the community scheduling people... I needed an authorization number to talk to the surgeon. I was on hold for 3 hours and 45 seconds seconds before the phone disconnect.i never got to speak to anyone. I made sure to take a picture of it. I tried calling the patient advocate and I cant get anybody to pick up. When I talk to the lady on July 21st she said sir were understaffed. I said and so it takes 8 months for you to call me back. If the VA cannot schedule you for an appointment within 30 days youre supposed to be able to Have it fee based into the community. Well when it goes to a few bases if it takes 3 months, 6 months or in this case 8 months how are veterans receiving proper medical care?

Cheyanne Stenquist Money hungry. You’ll have too do a Financial Assessment before an extremely important appointment because they want too make sure they get their money first, and then you’ll have too wait too be scheduled for said important appointment for another week after already waiting two weeks just for the Financial Assessment. What happen too Scott and white. They sure don’t care about patients health anymore.

Kaylee Anderson I had great service here with early recognition of a high-risk pregnancy! They communicated with me throughout the whole pregnancy, and they made me feel in charge of my birth as much as possible despite very challenging medical risks. I definitely recommend this team to deliver your baby!

shana osborne I recently came in for a follow up from an emergency surgery and had the best experience ever. The girl at the front desk (I swear her name started with an E), the nurse and Dr Andi Wagner were amazing. I have never left an appointment feeling like all of my questions were answered and that everyone was so kind. I am so grateful to have found such a good OB.

Ashley Bradhurst I have never had such a hard time trying to get prenatal care. The procedures that they have in place just to get a basic Prenatal exam is bull. I have been waiting going on 3 weeks for my first appointment. I am 7 weeks along on the 27th and the office is not doing anything to try and get me seen. after my financial appt which i feel is ridiculous to even have they said it would be 3 days i called on the third day and its going to be another 5-7 days just for my first appt. and who knows how long ill have to wait after its even scheduled. I told the scheduler that i was experiencing cramping the last few days and not a care in the world. when i was pregnant with my daughter same bs. and when i scheduled my induction with her i scheduled it on a day that my ob was supposed to be working, surprise surprise he did not show and i had some unknown doctor deliver my baby. baylor scott and white just happens to be the only ob in temple so i really have no choice but to use them unless i want to drive 30 to 45 min to get care. I hate that i have to use these facilities for care.

Froggy :0 I got birth control for the first time from here I was incredibly nervous but Courtney made my check in experience super easy and nurse practitioner kaleigh (not sure if I spelled her name right) filled me in on all the things I had questions for before I could even ask! I left the clinic happy and with a prescription the same day! and when my insurance didn’t cover the initial prescription I called and she immediately changed it to something that it did cover! Thank you ladies for giving me such a easy and comfortable experience! women on healthy women of Texas this is the place for you!

Sith Lord Worst ER visit ever. Been here for 5 hours waiting for a breathing treatment for my mom who can barely breathe. They finally take us back into a "patient room" aka another lobby full of other waiting patients while they ask her questions and read her her lab results and xrays. Where is the privacy? Patients are sitting in the hallways being treated or being forgotten about. My mom has a dry IV bag attached to her arm and the nurse that said 5 minutes has been gone an hour.

Queen Ramos ⭐⭐⭐ Mixed Experience at Baylor Scott & White Emergency Department I want to start by giving immense gratitude to the OB/GYN Emergency team, including Dr. Anthony McDowell, Dr. India Weinkauf Morgan, Dr. Micah Clay, the anesthesia team, Meghan (ultrasound tech), and the entire surgical staff at Baylor Scott & White. From the moment I was admitted, they showed true care and compassion, taking the time to listen to me, respect my concerns, and help me make the best decision for my health. Dr. Morgan even came to check on me before I left, which meant everything. The anesthesia team was incredible—they made me feel safe despite my anxiety, and the entire OR team reassured me every step of the way. Even the transport staff was kind and attentive. Every person involved in my surgery made a devastating experience just a little easier to bear, and for that, I’m deeply grateful. However, my experience in the ER was a different story. There was one nurse (tall, brunette, stocky build) who completely violated my trust and dignity within minutes of me arriving. While the door was wide open, she loudly accused me of having a “Sexually Transmitted Infection” in front of my husband—without explanation, without even confirming any details, and without considering how deeply inappropriate that was. It was humiliating, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional. When I corrected her, she never apologized or acknowledged her mistake. Then, when it was time to give me pain medication for my ectopic pregnancy, she walked up to me and sarcastically asked, “Where did the pain go?” with a smirk before even administering the morphine. The entire interaction felt judgmental, dismissive, and cruel, like she was trying to paint me as a drug-seeker instead of a patient in excruciating pain from a life-threatening condition. I am so grateful I was transferred to the right team of doctors, but no patient should have to endure the kind of humiliation and mistreatment I experienced in the ER. Baylor Scott & White needs to do better with staff like that.

Yessii Gloria I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the level of care and service provided during a recent visit to your facility on 11/30/2024. My partner and I arrived around 8:00 PM because he had got injured at his job and was experiencing concerning symptoms. The visit started well, as he was promptly checked in and initially examined. However, we were then sent back to the waiting room, where we waited approximately four hours before being taken to a room again. Once there, he was briefly assessed, and we were told, “We’ll be back with those labs.” Unfortunately, no one returned with any updates. A staff member came in to take blood, left, and did not return until discharge time—hours later, around 2:40 AM. Despite having a chest X-ray, blood work, and an EKG, none of the results were shared with us. Instead, we were abruptly told he was being discharged, given some vague instructions about breathing exercises, and advised to return if his condition worsened. To add to this frustration, when he informed his job of the situation, they required a doctor’s note to excuse him from work due to the incident. This essential documentation should have been provided during or at the conclusion of his treatment. As a result, we had to return to the ER at approximately 3:30 AM just to obtain this note, only to be told he would have to wait again. This experience was unacceptable for several reasons: 1. Excessive Wait Times: Waiting over six hours for incomplete information and care is unreasonable and unprofessional. 2. Lack of Communication: We were never informed about his test results or given a proper explanation of his condition. 3. Failure to Provide Essential Documentation: The doctor’s note should have been issued during discharge, not after an additional trip to the ER. This lack of organization and follow-through caused undue stress, wasted our time, and left us feeling unheard and neglected. I am deeply disappointed in the care provided and would like a formal response addressing these concerns. Additionally, I request that you review your processes to prevent similar issues for other patients in the future.

Sylvia House This might be a little long but a few weeks ago I came into the ER absolutely beside myself with anxiety from my CPTSD. The doctor was amazing and didn’t hesitate to give me meds to bring me back down. After labs and X-rays to rule out anything else it was $3300. Went earlier this week same problem. But even more hysterical than last time bc it just wouldn’t stop (panic attacks). I waited 5 hours for him to come back and tell me he won’t be doing anything for me and to talk to my psyche the next day. That was $2000 for them to only do labs and stick me in a room for 5 hours. Please train your doctors/staff to know what to do when someone comes to the er in crisis. Especially when their medications are clearly not working. I didn’t eat all day. Struggled with sleep. It was awful. I almost put myself into inpatient at canyon creek. Be wary those with mental illness.
