Savannah Cruz First off this was a horrible experience and not worth the money. I took my 2 nieces and daughter to get their nails done. The man that did my nieces nails did a horrible job as you can see. It was a birthday present from me to her and they turned out terrible. VERY THICK & he didn’t clean under the nail with the tool like most nail techs do. It’s slanted as you can see because it’s more thick at the very front of the nail and not as thick at the back of the nail. And way too wide never seen square nails that wide. We were also rushed which I understand they were busy but still. No we didn’t say anything because I have social anxiety and already had to tell them to paint my other nieces nails again because it clearly needed another coat. I didn’t want to cause problems but they should have looked at these acrylics and see that it looks bad that’s just completely unprofessional! Also the lady there was beyond rude. When she was doing my other nieces nails she wouldn’t even ask for her other hand as she was switching from the left hand to the right she would just reach her hand out and expect us to know what she was asking. She was also super upset that I said I called and ask how much this would cost and the guy tony said $45 for all which he misunderstood and it ended up not be that price. It evened up being $20 more! Do not go here it’s not worth the money! Will definitely be posting this across all social media platforms!

Dayla Diaz I recently had the pleasure of experiencing great service at Glory Nails just one hour before closing, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a friendly employee who promptly asked me what I needed. It was impressive to see that every staff member was busy with a customer, yet the overall wait time was minimal—about 10 minutes or less. When it was my turn, I was treated with great care. The gentle approach taken by my attendant really stood out, and I appreciate how attentive she was. I felt a bit guilty for making her stay longer than necessary, yet her positive attitude and willingness to assist made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re considering a visit, I wholeheartedly encourage you to go for it. The quality of service and genuine care for customers really shine through at Glory Nails. You wont be disappointed!

Once I broke a nail 2 days after my manicure and Henry took me in super early to get me fixed up before my vacation. 10/10 recommend!

Cynthia Weaver I like this nail salon because it is run by a husband/wife. They work quickly and efficiently. They are quietly friendly and dont play on their phones/computers. Occasionally their young daughters are there and help with cleaning, bring customers beverages or color palettes and check customers out. Very clean salon and not crowded. Waxing, manicures, pedicures. Might want to check them out!!!

A I I ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE W DIP! this is my first time trying dip and i love it! My manicurist was so sweet and made sure i liked the shape and everything! Def would come again.

Debbie Deb Dont let the ratings fool you. I was visiting family and we decided to come here because of the reviews. I explained that I wanted an ombre on my nails and they acted like they knew what I wanted . I sat down and had a tech start on my nails. In the mean time the lady she just finished was having problems with her nails. They would not dry all the way and started cracking. This happens 3 times! So she was switching back and forth between us until someone else helped her on the 3rd time. As she continued to work on my nails it didnt seem like it was what I was wanting but figured it may turn out better when she was done. It did not. By the time she finished we were ready to get out of there. As soon as we got back to my Uncles house my nails started peeling. I was furious because the $$ I spent. I called back and spoke with Ken and he asked for me to come back. I went back the next day and I got him to just remove the hideous work the tech did the day before. Even though I am not completely happy with the 2nd time around it was way better than the previous. I have attached pictures of both. The purple and black was the 1st time around.

Stacy French I would not recommend. They rush and do not do what you ask. I wanted basic manicure with regular clear polish. The lady did clear gel. I don’t get nails done often, so just assumed doing what I asked until I paid out & so expensive. It took her less than 10 minutes, she was rude, my natural nails are not even and cost $30. Why would anyone want clear gel? I don’t like gel and prefer just natural nails. I could have got an acrylic set with colored gel for $40 if I was paying to get something done. So now I’m out $30 and have gel on that will ruin my nails when starts coming off.

Cheddar Gus My girlfriend was very satisfied with her manicure. The woman who did her nails was very nice and did an amazing job. I recommend this place if you want your moneys worth!

Taylor Cole I’ve been coming here for years and I will never go anywhere else. They can do just about anything from chrome to all sorts of designs. I make it a priority to come here because it’s so relaxing and I always get compliments on my nails

Lil Onez Dope Soul The Mexican chick, did mine and my daughter’s nails. I requested dip and was told only acrylic. My daughter ended up going somewhere else and having them redo her. $85 down the drain…. Service was not good, we won’t ever come back. The lady owner did an amazing job on my other daughter’s nails.

krisandrea dobbs Super nice faculty. Very clean but the technician was arrogant. And my nails cmae out easily breakable and uneven. I will be by there to ask if they can fix them. But what a pain when I live in the country and its not easy to find time. Also it took like 1.5 hours for a set. I dont think I will go back.

I have never had an issue. I tell all my friends about it.When Im feeling generous with pampering myself , this is the first place I think of!

Buffy Duque When I asked to get a nail fixed thats when the attitude started and then I checked them to make sure the shellac got even it was over on my skin and he just filed it down. And he didnt put cuticle oil.

Kristi Sterling The first time I went to this nail shop, I was excited and did my research. I got to the shop around 6:30. The owner (I’m assuming) was very nice. He got me seated quickly, the guy who did my nails the first time seemed upset because he had to do my nails (guessing he was planning to be done for the day). He kinda had an attitude and I overlooked it, but he did an amazing job. The set that he had done lasted well past 3 weeks. I went back last night, hoping to have a better experience but that quickly faded. The owner again was nice and he greeted me but unfortunately he was tied up and couldn’t get to me. He had me sit at the end and wait. A lady came out to do my nails and again I received attitude while she was taking my previous set off. I was planning to get a set of dipped nails, once she removed the set, she tells me that I have to move to the guy who had just finished a customer because she had an appointment. Once her appointment came in, her attitude and mood completely changed. She was nice, she offered her client something to drink and was completely talkative. I was beside myself! Once the guy saw me sitting and waiting for him, he shook his head and was clearly upset because he had to do my nails. He rushed through getting my nails done and I stated several times that my nails were crooked. He claimed he would fix them, then told me it’s because my thumb nails are too big. If it wasn’t a problem last time with the other guy who did my nails, why was it a problem this time. My blood at that point was boiling. I was there in the shop for over 2hrs. He fixed my nails as best as he could but I shouldn’t have went through what I went through. Needless to say I will not come back!

Mae Teeerrific job! Even though I showed a difficult design out of the blue, Andy, the nail tech I had, did an amazing job half free styling designs on the spot. I needed prom nails the day before prom and he delivered! They complimented my dress tremendously and I have gotten A LOT of compliments since. The pedicure of was relaxing and the look served its purpose. The atmosphere is friendly and not intimidating. Super awesome place and will be coming back for sure!!

B Monroe Worst place to get acrylic toes done. They dont know what they doing. She made them so thick....looks very unnatural. Very disappointed because she was rushing. Will not recommend this place. I wasnt even asked what shape I wanted.

Philisha Hanes Andy and Whitney are now the new owners of this nail salon and it is so clean!! They have done mine and my mother’s nails for over 15 years now and we are so proud of them for finally owning their own place!! Go out and let them show you why we love them so much!!

Kamia Williams My boyfriend and I came early morning around 9 and we were stared at when we first came in for about 20-30 seconds before we even were spoke to about what service I wanted to get. Finally got my seated and my feet in water a waited for at least 15-20 min. No service. A couple came in and they serviced them right away. My boyfriend asked if they had an appointment and he stated yes. So you mean to tell me we waited 20 min and no one shared with us anything about an appointment. Then we got up to leave and all they shared was “sorry”. Also, when the couple originally came in they spoke to them right away and was like “you don’t have to sign in, your our VIP guest” in a joking manner. I’m not sure if it’s racial discrimination or what but I felt very uncomfortable.

Ventura Homes Walked in for a new set and man immediately shook head said no we are too busy for you without even trying to set an appointment. He was the only person in there. Super rude. Was hoping to find a new salon. Wont be back there

Rita Vaquera Sara is one of the best nail techs I have found in Lubbock. Genuinely cares about her customer and pays attention to detail and to what the customer wants. Not to mention, her nails are always long lasting!

Treana White I am EXTREMELY disappointed in my service here. I walked out spending 130.00 for amateur work. My gel has holes in it. It’s paint all over my toes, my finger nails are bulky and it’s embarrassing. They are horrendous and definitely over charging for the quality of work

I started going to Jackie 3 years ago and have never gone to another salon since. I will always recommend these ladies to family, friends & other individuals who ask. Jamie Needham I saw Crystal and I’ll be back for her. She was incredible. I’ve had my nails done in a bunch of different places inside of Lubbock and outside of the country. I’ve had sets that cost upwards of 500 done. This place did not disappoint for the price point. Crystal was incredibly kind and patient with me. I’m a little slow, so I don’t know how to make or keep up conversation. I just don’t have the faculties for it. But, she was so patient with me that I couldn’t get over it. I loved the vibe. I went in with a simple request. Colorful. It’s pride this month and I lost close friends in Pulse, which has an anniversary this month. I wanted nails that would show my love for those I don’t have with me anymore, and also serve as a “beacon” that I respect LGBTQIA+. My instructions were “French, but colors! Maybe a design.” Well, I got exactly what I asked for and shockingly everything was done by hand. Quickly too! I think I was only seated for 30 minutes. That woman is fierce! She helped me pick colors since I had no idea what I really wanted. That’s the extent of any direction I was told to go in though. And honestly, I appreciated it immensely. I have very hard to work with nails. Psoriatic arthritis makes my nail beds divot. The nails do come up quicker than they would on others. Not once did Crystal hit my cuticles with the dremmel or buff my skin though. Thats.. a new one for me. My hands are tiny. I didn’t expect to walk out of there without my skin ripped as always; but good god she was perfect. I didn’t even know she was done with the first hand until she told me to give her the other one. She says she specializes in chrome. So I’ll be going back to take her up on that. I love chrome, cat eyes, and hell, with how perfectly sized these nails are I can actually go longer. They’re usually the wrong size and hard to work with. But I’m shocked and in love with how beautiful and perfectly placed these are. She’s a golden one and I hope she stays at this place. I’ve only been here once but I never want to go anywhere else.

Sam Bartholomae I really wanted to like this place, the location is great, but the service was absolutely horrible. We came in a week before Christmas and we wanted a manicure and a pedicure. I had my two nieces with us and they were so excited for their first pedicure, they’re sisters so of course they wanted the same color but were told they can’t share the same color (even though they were seated next to each other) and that they needed to pick separately. Not a big deal even though it didn’t make sense. After my pedicure was over, I was ready to move to a table to get a manicure and the lady told me to get up, but didn’t tell me where to go. She moved on to the next person and when I asked her where I needed to go, she just ignored me. Finally, I sat down to get a manicure and the lady was incredibly rude. She seemed so put out and anytime I tried making conversation with her she was short. My nails ended up being crooked and the base color didn’t match my skin tone at all (I did French tip) and they were thick. When I pointed it out she just ignored me and moved on to the next person. I will never go back to this nail salon.

Bella Swannn I wanted to like this place so bad, I honestly thought I found my “go to”. However my nail experience was so bad :( this is what I wanted and this is what I got. They were so thick but it’s was weird because they broke off from the tips. I went back to get them fixed and they wanted to charge me $30 half of the price I had paid before ($60). I simply said no because I would have spent a total of $140. $50 from my pedicure the day before and $60 for the nails and if I wanted them fix $30. It sucks because they were the sweetest people ever and they did really good on my pedicure. But the nails and customer service is just horrible. I don’t understand how I would have to pay extra for a service that simply wasn’t good at all. Of course I have fault in it because I didn’t say anything before leaving, I just hate to be one of those people. I really wanted to love it so bad!

Micheal Williams As a man, I was always bashful about pedicures. Never again. I had my very first pedicure here and it was awesome. I felt absolutely pampered and my feet were so smooth and fragrant afterward. The lady that treated me, though I felt a bit of a language barrier, was very chill with me. She even recommend the White Tea and Ginger pedicure when I was being indecisive and it was a good call. My favorite part was definitely the hot coal massage near the end. They were even cool with me not wanting nail polish, which made me very comfortable. The $65 price tag wasnt bad either. Ill definitely reappear for another treatment.

Dani Back-Miller One of the worst experiences Ive ever had. My siblings had been to this place several times taking my elderly mother. Nothing irregular about those experiences. This time however was a nightmare. My youngest sister and I took my mother. Rushed us picking out polish, poor selection, and it was like a race with these people to see who could get done the fastest. Sloppy, sloppy jobs. Did not push my cuticles back & pretended to rub my feet and calves. What was supposed to be a soothing and relaxing time for my elderly mother & all they did was make her anxious, stressed out, and upset. Put the wrong polish on moms toes after I told them twice what to use. My mothers fingernails look like my 3 year old granddaughter painted them. The employees were rude & acted like they couldnt care less that we were spending our money at their business. My first and last time there.
