Mia Toor Anthony did a stunning job on my nails with a smooth perfect elegant shape. To top it off, he added a gorgeous design of gold flakes. I absolutely love this nail salon! Kevin did the massage on my feet and legs, perfect pressure and rhythm. The chairs and aesthetics in the salon are classy and entertaining. Ben, Anthony, Tracy, Kevin, and Cherry are fabulous in their professionalism and nail design + art.

katie m I was very disappointed with my experience here. Firstly, the lady that did my nails was very rude and didn’t greet me or ask if I liked my nails when she finished them. More importantly, I showed her a clear picture of what I wanted (I attached a picture of the nails I wanted vs what I got) and halfway through she tells me instead of the color I wanted she’s going to use a completely different color (I wanted pink, she gave me a metallic silver?) Not even close. If she wasn’t able to do the pink I would’ve understood that if she EXPLAINED that to me and gave me another option, instead she just told me that’s what she was doing. I wasn’t sure what she meant when she told me at first so I just decided to trust the process but I realized she just genuinely was doing her own thing and didn’t do the design I had asked for. She also cut my skin and didn’t even do a good job painting them. And when she finished she just got up and left and that was it.

Catherineduhgr8 (CatherineDuhGr8) I came here off of a recommendation from a friend. I am glad they were able to see me for a manicure and pedicure. However, the lady who did my nails did not do a full manicure on me didn’t even push back my cuticles and took off my natural nails without my approval. I know if some designs or lengths are wanted it is required to be cut, but it should have been approved by me first. Additionally, I asked for a design after placing only put one layer of white she placed on the topcoat right afterwards. I had to do a double take and ask her was if she not gonna do the design I asked. She said oh I’m sorry, I forgot. I left and after further inspection, I did not like my first set of nails they were uneven and not opaque in color. I went back after work same day, the receptionist came up to me in an attitude asking me what was wrong with my nails. After explaining to them why I didn’t like the first set. A different lady took me in and was trying to fix them fix the nails. No one wore name tags nor told me their names. After she said she finished, the lady got up abruptly and told me just, “your nails are done and stay until the UV lamp is done.” Then just left me at the table. I thought my nails were set, then realizing they weren’t. The same receptionist told me just wash your hands, but assured me that is normal and they are set. They were matte looking and sticky. I had to go back a third time. I really just so frustrated with this salon, it wasn’t until I asked for them to remove them and just give me a refund. They changed their tone. They finally polished my nails and shaped up them up. Do not recommend.

Kim Vincent Saturday afternoon and it was VERY busy. I just got the $30 classic pedicure. Water was lukewarm, massage was basically useless, quick down and dirty cuticle and callus job, technician seemed very rushed overall and not all that friendly. Just not the relaxing experience I had hoped for.

Vanessa Segundo This place is exceptional from the service to the nail Technicians ability to provide every design requested. There has not been a single time that I have left this facility upset or with anything less than what I asked for. This facility is very clean professional and provides nothing but the best care. I cannot speak for anybody else but for myself I gave this place five stars I have never been more satisfied with service and amazing techniques in my life and I have been to plenty of nail shops. Jenny Delucio Recently moved to Plano area and came in last Thursday to get Gelx nails and pedicure. Staff was friendly, although I did feel like I was being rushed when choosing my color. At first the color I picked looked nothing like the sample mail they had so I picked a different one and ended up loving the color. When in the process of applying the nails and shaping I asked for square and repeatedly kept saying square. They lady ended up making them coffin and I let it be as it didn’t look horrible.. 3 days passed and I started noticing my nails were super bendy which was weird since I’ve gotten GELX nails multiple times before and they’ve never had this “effect” to them before & now 4 days later they’ve gotten to the point where they’re already breaking and I’ve been avoiding messing with them. Haven’t gone in to inform them as I hate being “THAT CUSTOMER” but at this point I’m very unhappy as i paid $95 for both nails and pedicure and it’s only been a few days and they’re already messed up.

Caylee Kat I wanna say, no hate at all to the sweet lady that did my nails. She was very kind as was the rest of the staff. They weren’t rude in any way. However I left feeling very disappointed. I came in with a HORRIBLE set. I’m not one to usually say anything, and suck it up but these were bad. I needed them fixed. This salon was one of the few by my house that were open past 6. The lady kept the tips I had on already. She just drilled off the design and reshaped them as well as added dip powder. The shape of the new set is in fact pretty good. I showed her a design I wanted which was a bit easier than the design I came in with. I didn’t wanna stress her out trying the original one I wanted. Based on other people’s pictures and the many of sample nails around the salon I saw, I figured it would be pretty identical to the picture. I also tried to confirm with the nail tech that she could in fact do it. She said yes. (There was a language barrier so maybe it wasn’t communicated right on my end) I will say, once I got out of the salon and really started to look at the new set, I was very disappointed. The gel on top is very not even. The design is very poor. She did also charge me for a full set and I didn’t wanna be rude to her in the moment, but it was not at all worth the 75 dollars I got charged. I could tell the design was a challenge for her in the middle and I should have just asked for solid colors at that point. Which I didn’t do. Attached in the pictures is what I came in with, and what I left with as well as the inspiration.

Brianne Sargent -89 stars would be fitting. don’t come here unless you’re just driving by and waving. i’m not sure where to begin. every service provided could have been done by me at home for far less money. my partner and i treated our daughter to a manicure and pedicure for her birthday. we decided to get pedicures along with her. i’m no girly girl by any means but i like my pedicures done a certain way. my water was cold the entire time and even though i got clear polish, it’s pretty standard to use more than 1 coat. my feet lookin pruned like i’ve been in the tub for 3 hours. my partner’s pedicure is awful. they gave her the wrong color at first, then when the polish was “removed” it wasn’t removed all the way. once the “correct” coat was put on her nails just looked dirty because of the subpar nail polish removal. cuticles were NOT trimmed properly nor were her toe nails filed evenly. 1 foot looks completely different than the other. when i explained to the manager that my partner was not satisfied with the the service, she tried to first “fix it” and my partner explained that she just wanted the polish removed and that she didn’t want to spend any MORE time there. there were almost 3 attempts at fixing her pedicure. when i then tried to explain that she was not just concerned about the polish (which the manager offered a discount for removing the polish), but that the entire service was unsatisfactory, here comes the “you people just wanted stuff for free”. we ALL know what that means, so i ABSOLUTELY turned up. just because we’re telling you that ONE out of THREE of us was completely unsatisfied does not mean we are trying to pay for absolutely nothing. the police were called and the manager said “call them. they come here all the time”. all of the red flags could have summoned moses from the dead to part the red sea. so, boom. she keeps cutting my partner off (which we have videos) when she’s trying to speak calmly, saying a bunch of disrespectful RACEY stuff and being rude. when the police finally came, she morphed into another person. and had the nerve to CRY. smh. if you want to waste money and argue with the manager, this is the perfect place for you. if you actually want a reputable manicure or pedicure, i’d advise NOT going here for that. you might as well get stevie wonder to do it. be blessed, beloved.

Dana Stewart Reygadas I love Signature Nail Salon in Plano! They are always very attentive, they do great pedicures and always remember me and my daughter. The owners are so sweet and take time to talk to my daughter, and get to know us. I highly recommend them! You won’t be disappointed. Check them out, they are located right next to Kroger off 121 and Coit.

Black Mariah This is my favorite nail salon! They do amazing work on everyone. I didnt know my nail broke in the nail bed & the technician caught it. She was very gentle, brought it to my attention, repaired it & now you cant tell it was ever broken. It didnt even hurt! I will continue to this location as long as Im in this area. Its even worth waiting another day if theyre too busy. The quality service, customer rapport and pricing... youll have to show me better than Signature Nail & Spa. Also I notice, massages, facials & hair removal services where their clients are quite pleased with the results. Try them out, just tell them to leave a seat open for "five colors."

Hena Zaki I went for a regular manicure and the lady was so sloppy she didn’t even properly pull my cuticles down or clean up my cuticles and I still have hangnails. She also cut my ring finger which was very painful and bloody. My polish was so messy, my 7 year old could have done it better. After I was done she just walked away without putting on a fan. After 10 mins I managed to get her attention to put on the fan so I could dry my nails. I only gave 2 stars bc they had a lot of polish colors to choose from. I would not go here ever again.

When I returned for a fix, my nail ended up thicker than before. Overall, the experience didn’t justify the price, and I won’t be returning.

Joyce Zhang They have walls and walls of colors - floor to ceiling! Including gel shellac, dip powder, and regular nail polish. Had to get my nails redone from a different place and they were very careful to take care of my thin collagen. My first time there. And will definitely be going back! I had Alice do my Mani and she was meticulous and a perfectionist. Will be requesting her again! ❤️

Brandy Middaugh I had a good experience up until last Thursday I needed my nails done for a photoshoot. I asked for French manicure with gel. The technician struggled to get the white part right taking it off multiple times. Once I got outside I could see sparkles in my French manicure that I didnt ask for. I called immediately and advised them that I was unhappy and they said I could come back in to get them fixed that night. It was almost 7pm. I had gotten there at 5ish. I didnt have time to have them redone before my photoshoot the next day. Now its been 4 days and the polish already chipped as seen in the photo. She also charged me more than what I should have been charged. I was charged $50 for gel when the service was supposed to be $43 according to their menu of services. I wont go back to even have them fixed. They have no idea how to do gel nails. Its a tragedy. I dont like leaving negative reviews but in this case it deserves it.

Sharon Mburu Skilled nail techs, and short waiting time!! It may not be the fanciest nail bar, but they always get my nail shape and color right. Consistency is key, nothing worse than trying a new place and not getting exactly what you envisioned.

Emily Scott I am never one to complain but I am really disappointed with my experience here. Came in at 1:40 pm (with an appointment) they sat me down and began soaking off my dip. Multiple people came in after me and the staff began working on those parties. By 2:30 pm and no one has come to get started on my nails. I have somewhere to be, so I tell them I need to leave. They charged me $15 for the “soak off” even though the dip wasn’t even full off my nails when I left. I am embarrassed to walk around with my nails like this.

Emily Sassard I’ve been getting my nails done here for years now (dip, with gel designs). There are consistently techs here who are able to do complex and fun designs, and are happy to make anything you’re picturing come to be. The front desk staff is also super knowledgeable about what products are available, and are very talented at finding what will best match designs. I anticipate my friend and I will be continuing to come here for years more.

Ren Turnie Hao did an amazing job on my dip nails. she is very detailed and my almond shape nails look perfect. Linda did my pedicure and also pays attention to detail. My nails and toes now look wonderful and perfect for my brothers wedding that I am in. I have officially found my new place to get my nails done and will definitely be coming back. Julie Thetford They will charge you for “custom shape” even when you ask for basic round or oval. So don’t get your nails filed or shaped if you want to be charged - sarcasm. I mean, when you get your nails done - shaping should be included. Also, they will charge you for length. The longer they are, the more they charge. Another additional cost that doesn’t not make sense. Their excuse was - it takes more “product” aka nail polish to cover the additional length. That’s not much more product but you can see the trend here they have of scamming every little penny out of you. They also charge for credit card use. Additional 15% I believe. Meanwhile, overall their prices are significantly higher than other nail salons. The service is mediocre, and for sitting in Legacy West - one would expect more! Have fun…. Paying more. Reply: first, you never confirmed the charges on any of my visits. I live in the area and have visited between 5 to 10 times at least not once were charged as ever confirmed on any of the services even when I just visited for a pedicure. Second, I did not have a custom shape as I had around shape, and did not have an intricate design. I did have a longer link, but you are incorrect stating that other nail salons charge for all of these services. I have never visited a nail salon where they charge for custom shape or longer length because there’s more product. It’s a scam to charge for shape and length to get more money out of your clients, and have the client pay your credit card % fee. The amount of nail salons, studios, spas that I have visited in my lifetime - and none add on for customs shape or length, or additional percentage for using credit card. It was a good effort to sell the lie though. For those that live in thePlano Area, a moderately priced nail salon named Lavender is really good and they do not add any of these charges.

Leanne Martin Nail completely popped off the day after a dip. Not very good, shaped bad and cut too short. Was charged for nonsense extras like shaping and ended up paying $70 only for an entire nail to pop off the next day… I go back and get the one finger fixed.. and told her one was peeling she didn’t fix it, just added a top coat to a nail coming up and now another nail popped off. Edit: Three dip nails should not pop all the way off in less than a week AND to pay $70 for that is incredibly disappointing

Spam Email I’ve loved coming to Venus ever since me and my family started going there. The staff is super friendly and their family is super sweet! Ivanna does my nails every time and has done an amazing job. I show her a picture and she copies it amazingly and she is a great free styler as well! I always get Gel X tips and they stay on for 2+ weeks and keep my nail healthy underneath. I’d 100% recommend coming here for Gel X! These pictures are of my new set and I think they are well worth the price. I’ve seen some people complain about the time it takes but for me they pay very close attention to detail every time so it’s worth the wait!

Piyush Pandey My wife went to this place to get powder dip nails and they did the job really fast. They looked okay when she left the salon, but very next day one nail came out. She got back in and they fixed it but again the next day another nail broke in half. During the whole procedure my wife kept telling them to clear the powder first before putting the gel coating again but they were in too much of a rush. Don’t think we are going back here again.

Mallory McCormick Venus nail salon is consistent in providing excellent customer service. My friend and I have been coming to see Ivanna for a couple of years now and Ivanna always does my nails exactly how I like them. Color, shape, length, everything.

Nicole R Chris is who you should go for. If she’s not available, come back another time. $5 for “callous removal” is a money grab. It’s always been included in pedicures at other nail salons. $140 for two classic pedicures and a gel manicure. Quality can vary depending on the team that you get. Nails are double teamed here - pedicure and manicure are done simultaneously. Nails being dry is an issue. I will return but only for Chris.

Stevie Lemons Just had a full set of tips with dipping powder with Ellie. She did a wonderful job- even doubling back to redo some work when the top coat was not drying right. Ellie checked in with me multiple times about length and shape, ensuring I was happy with her work. On top of that, she was a joy to converse with. I would highly recommend making an appointment with this young, bright college student.

Tatiana Miller I walked in for my appointment on time and she was 45mins late. So I was waiting there for a while. The first thing she mentions is I’m in the wrong chair.When I was informed by another person to sit in that chair. The nails seemed rushed and lasted 4 days. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Vero I don’t leave bad reviews but I felt the need to because of the lack of consideration and disregard to our request. I recently took my daughter to Cowboys Nail Bar for a full set and unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service. The manager/nail tech had a lack of consideration for our request, seemed disinterested and chose to do whatever was easier for her. Our request was short acrylic with black French tip. Due to past experiences with dip, I told the manager we did not want dip (3 times). I expressed how my daughter plays sports and in the past she’s had dip done there and they tend to break easily. However, with acrylic they have not broken. She told me it was fine they would do acrylic. I left to Target and (again) told the manager acrylic no dip. I return and notice she is doing dip. I questioned her and she said “oh acrylic is more expensive” and I told her I understood, but my request was for acrylic not dip. She then told me “ well I can take them off“ (grant it they were almost done) and proceeded to say “these are better and last 4-5 weeks”. I told her that has never been the case and told her if one breaks within 2 weeks I will be bringing my daughter back because she is almost done and my request was very transparent. She then said “well she can’t do anything hard because then they will break”. I told her again how my daughter is athletic and that is the reason I requested acrylic. They did a good job with her eyebrows. We have gone before and were hoping for a better experience with the work itself (benefit of the doubt), not realizing how inconsiderate the manager/nail tech was going to be. We left feeling unsatisfied and unhappy with the treatment and results. We will not be returning to this nail salon in the future.

Hailey Uhle Let me start by saying that I got an incredible pedicure service. Now, the decor was a little odd, and the service was a little slow to start (15 minute wait with an appointment), but overall, it was a wonderful place.

Gabby Diana and Kim are amazing! My mom and I went in for manicures and pedicures, and they gave us the best nails of our lives. Not only were they friendly, polite, and incredibly skilled, but they also treated us to a free design, which was such a thoughtful touch! They had both of us in and out within an hour and a half without ever making us feel rushed. The attention to detail and quality of their work were top-notch. We left feeling so pampered and beyond happy with our nails. We will definitely be back—thank you, Diana and Kim!

Darri Kay (Kari) The absolute worst nail salon in the DFW especially if youre a person of color. Kevin is the ONLY reason Ive come back. Not only are the females in this establishment rude but they dont want to work and will waste your time. I will be taking my business to where its appreciated and thats at KT Nails on Hedgecox and Alma! Polar opposite and the appreciation was there and nails are perfect . Nail star as long as you keep those girls in there your business will continue to fail.
