liz ojeda Love this place. Not fancy, but they do a beautiful job on my nails. I have been to 3 or 4 other places and this one is the best. Do not go in a hurry. There were 3 operators doing amazing waiting on 5 and 6 patrons at the same time by doing a lot of running back and forth. It is still well worth it.

Michelle Bryant At first I really liked Vee until recently. I have always tipped her either $10 or $20 when I went in to get my nails done. She said she considered me her friend not just a customer, but I needed 2 nails fixed & she was very rude and told me to get it fixed somewhere else & to book an appointment with her when I needed a new set! It’s fine, she’s not the only person in the world who can do nails like her!!!!

Linda Mask Vee does a great job. Always on time for my appointment. She has great ideas and will try her best to give you what you want no matter how unusual.

Cassandra Nicole Finally found a excellent nail tech in Sherman! My experience with Vee was amazing. I got exactly what I wanted, I felt at ease with her and not rushed to get in and out, and the quality is top notch. Coming from a licensed cosmetologist that is super picky about my nails, this girl slayed! I will be back to see her in two weeks!

Jose Gonzalez I get pedicures regularly since I work in construction and take care of my feet, but this was one of the laziest experiences I’ve had. She took no consideration to work on my in grown toe nails .There was a total lack of effort; she clearly wasn’t concentrating on the task at hand. I don’t recommend this place at all. I’ve paid half the price for better service elsewhere. I’m not complaining about the cost—just the horrible service. Even when she worked on my feet, it felt like she didn’t care. Just because I’m a guy doesn’t mean I don’t have expectations. If you want a quality experience, don’t come here; there was a complete lack of effort. The last pictures are after she finished

Jessica Extremely nice techs, listened to how I preferred the shape of my nails, looked at a design I wanted, and I let him do his thing. He exceeded expectations! Very clean, polite, and they aim to please. Thank y’all!

Nancy Romano If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went to go get an acrylic set and a pedicure. Even though the pedicure was nice and I enjoyed it very much. The acrylic set was very disappointing. For $50 I expected better I definitely will not be returning.

Julie Ireland Today was my first time using a new nail salon in over 2 years and I am highly impressed! Ann saw my design inspo and did an amazing job! The prices are great, too! It was half the price of where I used to go. Ill definitely be back! Update! My last set lasted me a whole month! My new set (black and white w/black 3D flower) is sooo cute! It was a different nail artist than last time, but she took her time and did so good! Love them!

Taylor Peyton Went to get my set taken off and didn’t want to drive to my normal salon in Dallas. Thought I’d give it a try. It took way longer than it should have and my technician kept getting up and walking away before another technician finished them… they just look bad..

Emma Lamb Worst nail service I have ever had in 36 years of getting nails. Prices online are lower than in store where they have taped over the price with a higher price. They also have a sign at check out that they charge 2.5% for one to use a credit card because they have to pay that fee. Everything is an add-on. Shaping the nail? $15. Then the service? Had French painted on. All of the tips are different widths. When I said something she was going to file the nails down to match the width!! Horrible experience and will NEVER go back.

hayley white If I could give this place a 0 I would. Came in with my boyfriend and wanted simple french tip manicure. I was passed between 4 different people within my manicure. They could not do French tip and had her take it off twice just to go with a plain pink color. They didn’t even clean under my nails and left glue all underneath. Definitely will never be back.

Naomi Ramirez Came here on Sunday and my nails are HORRIBLE. I asked for something and showed them pictures and they didn’t do them like that. My nails look like a kid did them. I wish they would have fixed them when I asked. The edges by the cuticle are so ugly too and they are all different shapes and sizes!!!!

Jess This was my second visit to this location. There were 3 of us, 3 pedicures, 2 manicures +color. The technician seemed rushed throughout the entire service, and my nails were left sloppy. I had to ask her to redo several nails because they looked like they were about to peel off. Even after the redo, the quality didnt improve—there were still visible air bubbles, no attempt to clean up the edges, and I ended up with a few cuts on my fingers. Less than four hours later, one of my nails chipped. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Demetrice Harris I made an appointment to get a manicure. The nail tech was 32 minutes late. The owner is more concerned about money instead of customer service. The owner told the nail tech to give me a manicure without white tips due to the salon being busy. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at Escape Nails in Sherman Texas. The salon owner’s customer service is terrible. I would not recommend this salon. The salon is in poor condition. There was a problem with the water heater and the techs were physically pouring water in the bowls for customers to get a pedicure.

Hannah B. I got my nails done by Hannah, and she did a fabulous job. She did the exact design I wanted (hello kitty). The place was very clean, and quiet but friendly. Price was a bit more than I expected, but it was worth it since I barely get my nails done lol

Jodee Mcdonald I received a pedicure today. 4/19/24. Tim at this location was wonderful. Im a big baby due to bad experiences in the past and often flentch when having a pedicure. He was patient and kind and made sure I was happy with my nails. If it hadnt been for him my rating for this location would not be good. The other technicians (who were literally sleeping in pedicure chairs and giving disaproving glares at customers as they walked in and then went back to sleeping) were rude and disrespectful to clients that came in. Ill be back but only to see him.

Angela Barnett They did a great job with my powder dipped nails. They didn’t have the color I wanted, but I loved the one I picked and it turned out great!

Kendall Hendricks Very disappointed in the service here. My daughter showed an inspo pic (shown below with gold rings) and the other picture posted is what she got. I took her back to have the nails fixed, the woman began to talk about how much the nails cost and said if she would keep them then she could get a $15 discount next time. I explained she simply wanted a nude pink at this point to remedy the miscommunication/misunderstanding of what was originally wanted. We were told that it was nearly closing time and she would call me “soon”. We decided to go to another nail salon who gladly remedied the problem. Even they were horrified at how my daughter’s nails looked.

Megan Williams My 15 year old Daughter & I had an absolutely amazing experience. We both got a Full Set of Nails put on! My daughter came in with a picture of a specific design etc that she really wanted for Valentines Day! The Lady ( owner) Nailed it! We love this place & definitely will be back!

Ashley Grider The BEST experience I’ve had at a nail salon!! Shout out to Moon and Nancy for their expertise pampering they gave my little girl. Not only did they talk and sing to her, they gave top notch polish jobs and made her nails perfect. All other places I’ve taken her to left her polish sparse and sloppy, I’m guessing because she’s “just a child.” Another huge shout out to Amy for the best pedicure I’ve ever had!!

Miss kitty Monroe I would give a zero!! First Lady nail and spa is VERY unsanitary they gave me my first toe fungus ever I was kind embarrassed to post but this is ridiculous!! I always do my own toes but I was going on vacation so I decided to give them a try … why did I do that?! I chose the pineapple pedicure, & I already had to ask the man to replace a foot scrubber that looked like the whole town used it was almost the size of a old bar of soap and he was upset! long story short if you love your feet don’t not come here!! I also observed no cleaning solution anywhere not even the dirty nail brushes… They are not up to the correct cleaning standards to own this type of business in my opinion!! My service was a pedicure with gel polish I removed myself after one week due to a burning sensation and this is the result

Cheyna Mackey Love! This salon. It was a treasure in a hidden corner. I have been seeking someone to do some nail art (who didn’t laugh in my face), and they were more than able. And on top of that, everyone there was so nice! It’s not a common trait so much anymore, so I appreciate that when I’m spending my hard earned money that I’m treated with such kindness!

Hanna Stocks Owner was super nice and helpful! Place was clean and used cleaned tools too. Lots of staff available for my appointment. Was a little bummed, though. Went w a friend and had four ppl working on us, two each, while we both got mani-pedis. Her nails turned out 10/10. Gorgeous. It was my first time getting a dip, but I don’t think my nail tech cleaned them up well and a couple of the nail extensions were crooked. Asked my bf too and he said that was his first thought when he saw them but loved the color. My friends nails were amazing though! Hans the guy who did my pedicure and the two techs who did her nails and toes were insanely sweet, patient, and careful with their work. I wish I could give a glowing review for them, but my nail tech was somewhat rude and seemed to rush my nails and stressed me out a little bit. I tipped afterwards for both of us then took some cash and went to the back to go tip Hans and my friend’s techs extra bc they were so awesome, but my nail tech saw me walking to the back and called me back and asked what I was doing and said if I wanted to tip, to give it to her to add and they would just split it. She definitely knew what I was up to and wish she’d have let me thank them for their work. So- bummed w my nails a bit but would still recommend overall, especially considering how nice most of the other staff was and how much my friend enjoyed herself and her nails.

Taryn Brown If you go to the shop you must ask for Helen! Not only is she kind and humble but she is clearly a perfectionist takes the time for the details. Excellent work I wont let anyone else in Sherman touch my hands or feet ever. If you need a pedicure let her do it the best massage ever very thorough and everything she does. Highly recommend!

Tracy Hernandez First time here and had an awesome experience! Great prices, and they accept walk-ins. The first photo is a reference and the 2nd&3rd is the result! Helen worked on my hands while while Mitsy did my pedicure, was in and done in about an hour,(I went Wednesday morning around 11ish). The environment is very calm and it’s very clean. Both were very attentive in what I needed and liked, they even gave me better suggestions than what I had chosen, definitely will be coming back:)

Love One Another Poor service. When I entered I was rushed to check in. I showed the lady my inspiration nails and she said ok cool $85. And I immediately said no thanks. Then she said okay I can do 65 but with the natural cuticle shape. Not oval. I said yes I wanted it that way (but didn’t get a chance to tell her that yet.) my mom is with me and my mom says just regular short French tip. when we sit down she hands us both 2 books with colors and told us to pick. I reminded her of what we were getting and that it was just black and white so we didn’t have to pick a color. She start to prep and asks if I’ve ever been there before and I tell her NO. She gets the clippers out and I ask her if she can not clip my natural nails. (Bc in the past I have experienced this causing the nails to break quicker) and she immediately started acting funny. As if she didn’t hear me and got upset bc I didn’t want to let her. After her being persistent I agree but told her to be sure she leaves them straight. To which she responds by not wanting to cut them anymore. I repeated myself to her and she continued to deny cutting them. Then she cuts my pinky and trying to be condescending she makes me approve it. She continued to do that for every nail after every little step she took even though I would voice to her that it’s fine. She was tugging my hands unnecessarily and rushing so I didn’t feel comfortable the entire time like if she might cut me intentionally. Instead of her trying to put me at ease and maybe offer me a drink, she got annoyed. She continued and got the acrylic powders and asked me which color Do I want. I reminded her of my inspiration pic and she chose pink. She laid it down and shaped and then grabs black nail polish and paints rectangular from the tip towards the bottom on all nails and then grabs some remover and a brush and begins to paint it off in the shape shown below. When she finished I asked if she could bring the black down some more. Bc it was more pink than black. This made her more upset. Because when I explained the first time she kept cutting me off talking over me saying “yeah yeah yeah” as if she immediately understood. So she does it again and basically does the same thing. Too much pink. So I try to explain to her again. And she tried to do the “yeah yeah yeah” deal again and I told her this time “hold on. You’re not listening. I’m trying to explain to you.” And she said yeah yeah thick. So I let her try again. And again she does the same thing. So I tell her. Too much pink. More black. And again the yeah yeah yeah. I eventually agreed to it so she could finish. But when she was done I was just unhappy and sat there trying to explain to her again. And she said. I do the pic for $20 more. And I told her no. So she does it one more time. Leaving it at the same pink/black balance. She then painted the silver tip and I asked her to go over it again bc it was barely noticeable. She did that with no questions ask. My mother was with me and at this point she asked if they had wine. They said no. Just soda and water. Her tech gave us 2 waters. Then my tech finished up and starts to put oil on me. And my mom pointed out that she thinks she done. And I reminded her the inspiration pic has 1 gem on cuticle area. And she said oh “$5more dollar.” Then I said but why when I showed you pic all the nails have a gem and she said “$10” more dollar. And this was the cherry on top. I told her no. That’s not my fault. I showed you the pic and bc you rushed you didn’t see it. And she said “show me pic” as if I was lying! So I showed it to her and she said $10. Took no type of accountability for her actions. She then tells me to go wash my hands. And I ask where and remind her I told her I had never been there and she nonchalantly pointed somewhere to her left. So I get up and head that way and ask again where bc I didn’t see it and a customer ended up showing me where. Then here’s the kicker. When we go to pay they tell me my mom’s plain short nails are $55. They never once mentioned her price. Nails are lumpy and she left paint on me.

Marie E. Out of all the times I’ve been here, my last visit left me HIGHLY upset. I went in for a pedicure and nexgen nails. I showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted done and it was nothing like the picture I showed her. I normally would spend $85 total for both , and Tip but this time they charged me $115. The charged me $25 for “gel design” which was literally the thinnest white line, she said it was to last longer. It’s been a week and my nails look as if I’ve had them longer than a week. They could of just done the whole nail in nexgen dip instead of trying to rob me out of more money. & also 2 nails have dents in them. I can say I will never go back.

Macy Bullard I would give no stars if I could. I got tips put on and the powder done (just one color, no designs). First complaint is that the nails are very uneven and not at all smooth. Ugly bumps on every nail. Second complaint is that when the first tech put my tips on (pretty sure he was the owner), he put hardly any glue down for the tips. I knew as soon as I saw it that they were probably going to break off. I got these nails done on Thursday evening. Today is Saturday. This afternoon, one of my thumbnails broke in half after I BARELY hit it on something. What really made me upset was when my OTHER thumbnail broke in half, as well, just hours later. I have been extremely careful with them as well, given that I got them longer than I usually do. This has been the absolute WORST experience for getting my nails done. It cost $45 for this. I guess you get what you pay for. Not to mention the other people I went with were also unsatisfied with their low quality nails. Will never go back, and I do not recommend. Edit: One of the people went back the next day to get them redone and the owner was incredibly rude about the whole thing and tried charging her AGAIN for the new set they did. Dont waste your time or money here.

Nina Zapatero Came here on May 18 to get my nails and feet done for my wedding. Had good experiences here before. Left paying $145 for French nexgen nails and French gel toes. The woman who did my feet was amazing she did great work. I got the $45 aloe pedicure and I did feel like I got my moneys worth on that part. The man who did my nails didn’t do so good- i didn’t get any tips just used my natural short nail. He kept tried convincing me to get tips. Had a charge for shaping my already round nails. I asked for extra work around my cuticles (since I was paying extra for it) and he still failed to get my cuticles like I knew they could have been and also made me bleed pretty bad on thumb in the process because he wanted to rush and get them with the nail drill instead of soaking nails then using cuticle scissors. Then proceeded to paint over the blood. My nails were already lifting only less than a week after. So I was charged for the french nexgen and also had a charge for “tips” when all I used was my natural nail. Please make sure to look at y’alls receipts for extra charges. Pic is 2 days after service. 2 stars, only gave 3 since the lady did well and took her time on my feet.

Glenda Brock I’ve known Andy and Kelly for several years now. I was so excited when they shared that they were opening their own place because I knew that it would offer a clean, friendly salon with top notch service…and it does. Being diabetic, I can relax and know that my feet are in good hands!

Shantell Osquisa My first time there was great! My nail tech worked so hard and the end result phenomenal. The lady at the front counter was so nice and attentive. I will definitely be going back for my next set of holiday nails.

Caitlin Clark 5 stars for the scheduling process and the front desk lady. Very friendly, helpful, polite and easy to schedule. I sent a pic ahead of time to help schedule the correct person and time. The lady told me that it wouldn’t look exactly like the pic but they’d do their best. I was expecting differences but that it would be a senior tech and that it would come out well given the high reviews. My nail tech (I don’t know her name) might have been having a bad day but she didn’t seem like she wanted to be doing my nails, barely spoke, didn’t look happy, etc. The end product was not good - it was $75 and I tipped around $10. It was an hour and half appt. both the shape and the quality of the design were so bad that I stopped at another nail salon immediately after I left to reshape and cover in black polish. The shape - she did one side of each nail completely straight (square round) and the other side of each nail coffin. The right thumb nail was so drastic that it looked like the nail was crooked. I should have said something while I was there but I just wanted to leave. I do wish they’d just told me they couldn’t do the design. Either way I still would have been unhappy with the shape.
