Wilma Logan I was so pleased with this facility. It is bright, clean, and welcoming. The staff are all wonderful and they took their time to run a few swab tests and were very thorough in the questions they asked to asses my issues. I will certainly use and recommend them in the future.

They made us feel right at home, which really helped ease any nerves my daughter had. Every interaction was warm and welcoming, and you could tell they genuinely cared about their patients. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care we received—it made all the difference! Highly recommend this clinic!

Susie Marquez Thank you Dr. Sastry! I have not been to a gynecologist in forever. But was referred to Mrs. Sastry by a friend. After PCP was trying to refer me to a male gynecologist. Felt comfortable. She treated me with respect and made me feel that what I’m going through is important.

Maco Fariss Dr. Sastry is knowledgeable and caring. She carefully explained what she thought was my problem. In an earlier visit to be on the safe side with her diagnosis, she referred me to an oncologist/gynocologist in Lubbock who agreed with her initial diagnosis. We’re fortunate to have her in Andrews.

He had to also listen carefully to me as my speech has been slurred lately. My situation seems to be complex and he listened to me and explained the approach in handling my current health-care. I did not feel at anytime that I was being rushed in and out. I felt like my concerns were heard and handled very professionally by him. I was definitely pleased with the quality and professionalism of Shannon Clawson, FNP and would recommend him to anyone needing health-care as I did and still do. Thank you for the health-care that you provide me. And thank you to Permian Regional Medical Center.

Diamond Rescue Supplies A good friend of mine had to visit the ER and stay at the hospital for a while. I spent the night with him, and I was truly impressed by the level of care provided. The doctors and nurses were not only highly professional but also incredibly friendly and attentive. They took excellent care of my friend and even went out of their way to check on me, ensuring I was comfortable during the stay. For a hospital to run this smoothly, it requires strong leadership and a dedicated team—and they appear to have that figured out. Thank you to the entire staff for your exceptional service and compassion!

Grady Dungan First, I want to point out that I had every intention of emailing the ER directly, but nowhere on their page is an email and when I called, I was put on hold twice. They were quick to send a survey, but only left 50 characters for me to explain my disappointment. —- I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at Andrew’s Permian Medical Center that I feel compelled to share. After undergoing surgery earlier that day in Lubbock, my doctor assured me that I’d be fine to drive home. However, upon leaving the eye center, I realized I could not see clearly at all. Thankfully, my wife accompanied me for the two-hour drive home. After arriving and spending around two hours trying to rest, I was still unable to see properly and was suffering from an excruciating headache. It was at this point that I knew I needed to visit the ER. Upon our arrival at Andrew’s Hospital, we were the only ones checking in. The receptionist was extremely kind, but she admitted it was her first time handling a VA admission, which made me a bit apprehensive. Shortly after, a triage nurse called us back and took my vitals, but then left to find a room for us. We waited nearly an hour before a male nurse approached us and instructed us to return to the waiting room to triage other patients. While I understood the need to prioritize, it was disheartening to watch 4-5 other patients go in, some of whom returned with medical bracelets. As we sat there, the waiting became increasingly frustrating. My wife inquired about our status and was told we should be called back soon. However, as time passed, it felt like we were being overlooked. Eventually, someone came out to ask for my Social Security Number for VA paperwork, but even then, more patients arrived and were taken back before us. At that point, I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were not a priority. I approached the male triage nurse and requested my paperwork back, expressing my concern about the delay. His response was to simply say, “hold on” before handing it back to me and wishing me a “nice night.” This phrase felt utterly dismissive, especially in light of the pain I was experiencing and the sense of neglect I felt. I can’t help but wonder if my status as a veteran played a role in the level of care we received. It left me feeling like I was less of a priority simply because I was utilizing the VA system. Whether it was due to internal policies or a lack of resources, the experience was incredibly disappointing. In conclusion, my visit to Andrew’s Hospital was fraught with delays and a lack of urgency that left me feeling neglected and frustrated. I hope that they can improve their processes for veterans and ensure that all patients receive the timely care they deserve. Until then, I cannot recommend this hospital based on my experience.

Cassidy De Luna My daughter suffered a knee injury at school & was recommended by the athletic trainer to be evaluated by a physician. I was able to have my daughter seen the same day by Dr. Nayak. His front staff were very kind & helpful scheduling her appointment. The nurses were kind & allowed my daughter to take her time hobbling to the room with her crutches. Dr. Nayak had a calm reassuring demeanor. He carefully evaluated her knee taking care not to cause unnecessary pain, explained the plan or care, & a time line of when to expect a fallow up call with results. I was very pleased with each interaction we had. 10/10 would recommend.

Nicholas Goodpaster Last month the pharmacy was out of my pain med for 2 weeks (Oxy), This month my pain Dr wrote my RX for Oxy to be picked up Feb 14. I activated early AM on the 14th and went to the BX to pick it up. Wrong!! It was closed for Valentine’s Day. My old CO must be turning in his grave. We were a facility whose sole purpose was to serve our shipmates and we never, ever dreamed of not being open unless it was a Federal Holiday. Family day was Sat and Sun.

H. Wes (BourbonBikesBeer) Worst ECC Urgent Care I have had the opportunity of going to. Brought my wife in tonight with labored breathing, abdominal pains, vomiting, etc. No one at the front to greet us…..not a big issue as there are directions, but don’t get upset when I ring the doorbell every minute for 5 mins because no one comes to the door. Then you throw us in a room and say Dr will be right there. I’m writing this as I wait…..been going on 90 mins. Not a nurse or anyone to even stop in and check on my wife. Totally unacceptable that someone can’t check up. And the excuse is “we have 1 dr”. Well you have other people that can at least swing by and check. If you have the opportunity, go somewhere else and save yourself the misery.

Court Wright They should close the ER portion of this clinic and refer everyone to Walter Reed or Fort Belvoir. I went to this place about 2 weeks ago and the doctor seemed rushed when I explained my conditions. I also stated that I felt symptoms of a UTI, Overactive Bladder, or Diabetes. Needless to say, the doctor stated that it was my GERD causing the symptoms that I felt. I told the doctor that I wasnt feeling GERD symptoms and he proceeds to say "Well, I dont know what to tell you." I have had GERD since 2020 and clearly know what those symptoms feel like. As a result, I went to Fort Belvoir and they figured it out for me. What a shame!

Jennifer Boynton HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH I can’t believe military and civilian personnel are putting up with Malcolm Grove Service Providers. I am new to Tricare and Andrews AFB. I am a civilian and just got married in June to my husband who is active duty and decided to try out Tricare and get some blood tests done at Andrews since I have not been well for a year now. Im suffering from cyclical pains that cannot be explained thus far for a year. It took 3 weeks to get to the correct POC to make an actual appointment. You’ll stay on hold for anywhere between 30-45 minutes for that person to say you don’t have the right number, and transfer you to another number, and then wait all over again. Finally, after getting to the right spot, I asked for a referral to which I was denied. I asked for three and all three were denied. I digressed on the fact that I was denied, and went to Malcom Grove for a blood test at the minimal. 2-3 weeks went by with no call for lab results, so I had to physically drive up to the base to go get my results. Why is a patient going to the clinic to flag down their results? If that is standard for military personnel, that’s unacceptable. You should be calling them when they are ready! I had an appointment with Capt Aubrey Blanchette. It was for September 26th at 8:30. They checked me in and told me she was running "a little behind" I waited till 11am and called my husband explaining that they never called. My husband called a customer care advocate, SSgt Jonathan Fortson and inquired about how to file an ICE complaint to which Fortson apologized that it was taking so long and provided this site. He said he would follow up with Blanchette. Blanchette did not call back until after 5pm that day. At that point I was already off work and at the gym which is unacceptable. I find it hard to believe that she couldnt find 5 minutes during the workday to call back with my blood test results. I did not take her call because if my appointment is set for a certain time, I anticipate it will happen within that block of time, not when I’m in the middle of working out. The appointment was rebooked for today, Oct 2nd with Dr. Chaetae. Again, the appointment was not till 9:20 even though it was booked for 8:50. Dr. Chaetae went over my results and reported slightly high cholesterol. That is a first and I will get another test from another provider to confirm that. The disappointing part was when I asked her about my thyroid to find out if I could get a TSH thyroid stimulating hormone test. She goes "what are you talking about? You had a thyroid test." I asked her if they are one in the same test, and she said yes. I was told that there are SEVERAL different thyroid tests because my mother has thyroid issues, and my pain is cyclical which may be stemming from a dysfunctional thyroid. There is more than one test to check a patient’s thyroid and she was very dismissive. I also asked about flu and cold shots and immunizations according to Dr Chatae are not ready to be provided (Its October!!! How is Andrews not ready in October??) I told her thank you, and she just hung up in my face. Didn’t say you’re welcome or have a good day or anything. Extremely rude and didn’t even address my cyclical pain which was the whole reason why I got the blood tests to begin with! So there was no resolution! I feel sorry for people that don’t have additional insurance for another provider because this is unacceptable service, and patients are at Malcom Grove’s mercy which is not ok. I can tell they have been treating patients like this for a very long time and no one is doing anything about it. Go look at the Google ratings. I was hoping for better service, but I was wrong. As a civilian, I will not be going back to Andrews for a damn thing, pain or no pain!
