Courtney Allen I decided to try a new place that was closer to me than my normal nail salon. After reading reviews and looking at pictures, I decided to come here. It can be scary trying new places, especially with all the horror stories you hear. Im so picky when it comes to my nails. I have long skinny fingers so super short nails look weird on me. I wanted size 6 cut ballerina/coffin chrome polished nails. It took a little while, but my nails came out amazing. Chang worked so hard to make sure I got the length, shape, and color I wanted. I wanted a very specific chrome color and thug total and error she figured out what I wanted. Lily did an amazing job on my pedicure. I got the number 4 which has the scrub, stone massage, plus some other things and also added paraffin for an extra $7. She gave me the best for rub Ive ever had. You also get a complimentary water or soda. It took about 2.5 hours and I ended up paying about $132. The prices were really good and they were so amazing. Honestly Chang and Lily made me feel so comfortable and really wanted to make sure they did a great job. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

Andrea Young I absolutely love coming to Galaxy Nails and Spa. They always do exactly what I want. I always design my nails especially for holidays, and they deliver! The pedicures are also amazing! They take their time and make you feel relaxed.

Sharon Carlisle My two broke best friends (my daughters) and I absolutely love this salon! Even my husband has visited with me a few times! The nail technicians are VERY gentle and friendly. None of us have experienced cuts or burns or bruises. African American women get treated poorly regularly in these types of environments but I have never experienced that here at Galaxy Nails. I wanted to cry my first visit here because they were nice to me and smiled when I walked in. Thank you all for such phenomenal hospitality and kindness. You have a forever client! Plus my daughters and husband.

Codie Barlow I visited Galaxy nails Friday, September 8th, to get a set of acrylic nails. A few days after, my new nails started popping off, one by one. So the following Friday, exactly one week later, I went in to tell them how half of my nails were gone & I would like them fixed. I also wanted a pedicure done as well. The lady started my pedicure & a man came over to start working on my nails. I have to say, this man was super sweet & really seemed to be trying his best....but he basically butchered my nails. Four of my cuticles were bleeding badly, he kept cutting me over & over, my nails are slanted & some are long/some are short, acrylic powder stuck all over my fingers, uneven bumpy nail surface, extremely sharp pointy edges that cut my legs & caught on my clothing when I left...overall the worst experience getting my nails done. When I was checking out at the cash register, I was told the total would be $105.00, but that they would give me a discount of $20.00 on my nails!!!! My nails should be COMPLETELY FREE, not only because I just paid $50.00 ONE WEEK AGO, but also because of the HORRIBLE nail experience I was just put through for TWO HOURS. My cuticles & hands are still hurting & swollen today. So I paid $87.00 when it should have only been $59.00 for the pedicure. And the only reason I didnt complain in the nail salon is because for one, I didnt want to embarrass that nice man in front of all the customers & two, I didnt want them to try & fix my nails because I was in so much pain. Today, my pregnant daughter also went there to get a new set of nails. She got the same man & the same thing happened with her!! Then they charged her $65.00 when they told her $45.00 on the phone. Update: Apparently, by looking at their response, they also cannot read. Yes, whoever you are, my visit was in September. My daughter came a seperate time & had the same issue.

Candy Carmen did an awesome job! I’m thrilled to have found her since my other girl moved away after 22 years with her. Carmen is my new nail girl. Yeah! Her place is new and very clean, and close to where I live so positive all away around!

Kayla Castle Came in for my first set in a very long time. My nails are bumpy and in even. They tried to use 2 different colors on my nails and toes after saying they matched. I was told if I got one coat of the same color on my nails that was on my toes they would not charge me for it. (shellac color which is an up charge) they charged me 20$ plus while smiling in my face but I don’t have the heart to say anything so I just left with bad nails that cost more than what I was told. If they would have just told me I would have made a different decision but I won’t be going back after using them for over 5 years I don’t know why I kept going back. I understand needing to make money as a company but honest work isn’t their priority and it shows. Disappointed.

Kristen Perez Kelly and Ann are experts that I trust completely with my nails. Both ladies take the time to make sure my fresh set is exactly what I want.

Julie Ann Kerr The nail tech was not rude, but also not friendly. I don’t like color in my fingers, but needed them trimmed down and cleaned up. 4 nails were cut so short I am still in pain 2 days later (first and ring finger). I did enjoy most of the pedicure. The leg massage felt great. I said no hot wax, she did it anyhow (it wasn’t worth corrected once I saw the bag), and again, one nail is painfully short. I will not be back

HeyyLatosha I had an appointment with Niva. When I arrived, she told me it would be $10 extra to get dip powder instead of acrylic even though when I made the appointment I requested dip powder and they didnt mentioned anything about an extra fee. Also, she was rushing with my nails because she had another lady waiting to see her. So when I asked her to fix a nail that she kept messing up. Her and her co-worker made a big scene. Plus, the lady who did my pedicure was rough. My toes were sore all night! It wasnt a relaxing or pleasant experience.

Tina Costello Worst experience ever took 3 hours for new full set white tips cut my finger didn’t even cover the whole nail had them crooked going to side made them way to thick arguing when I brought to her attention of doing it wrong showing her the flaws didn’t make them shiny didn’t listen to me did them her way not mine wanted to take them off & start over I had already been there 3 hours told me come back tomorrow & let Jackson decide I decided never to go back

Kimmie Garrett Absolutely adore the owner Terry and Jackson is your go-to waxer! They are very detailed and careful and goes beyond for customer satisfaction. Their prices are very modest too. I will always get my nails and brows done here forever!

Jaylyn Martin Place is horrible and they all rude and unprofessional!!! Wasted my money for sure here ! No wonder it’s always empty ! He told me he was busy and the place was empty and he was just sitting there after I got a full set yesterday and they already coming off ! It’s a NO FOR ME !!

Caitlin Le The lash lady did my lashes so so good, she took her time making them perfect and the setting was very relaxing and calming. I recommend getting your lashes done from her, she’s very trusting and will make them exactly how you want on the spot :)

Nathan The Fairy King If I could give 10 stars I would!! Came in as a walk in with inspiration pictures, picked my colors, and she did fantastic! If I had gotten an appointment they would have been more elaborate, but she still knocked it out of the park with this gorgeous set for me. I love the ombre, the sparkle, the butterfly! She did an amazing job and didnt nick me either, if youre wanting elaborate sets definitely go here but make sure to book an appointment first for the best result

Carolyn McGee One of the worst pedicures I have ever had. Poor sloughing skills, no skills at trimming cuticles, and there was so much polish on my skin it took her 6-7 attempts to try and clean the polish from around my nails. Very disappointed and I will never return.

Rooster Word of advice dont ever go to this place unless you want your nails crooked never again will I pay for my girl to get her nails done from this place again. Now to go to some else to get them taken off my girls fingers.

Demi Ford Was here about a week ago with my 7 year old daughter. We have been coming here for years and usually they only spend 10-15 minutes on my daughter( which she is little so I never complained) but this time we had the pleasure of getting this new girl. She was younger (said she was 19) she was AMAZING! she talked to my daughter the entire time she did her pedicure and shared their interest on lilo and stitch, took her time, perfected the designs she wanted on her toes and even did the designs on her fingers even though she had never done designs on fingernails before. I unfortunately did not get her name! If you have little ones I highly recommend her!!

Diane Moran I have been pleased twice before to this salon for pedicures and mini manicures. The ladies are pleasant and there are plenty of workers. This last time, I went only to have my old polish removed and then trim my toenails. The lady took some toenail clippers out of her bucket. I had to remind the nail lady to use sterile nail clippers before clipping my toenails to avoid infection. She accommodated and also took out a new file set to file my toenails. I thought a sterile set of tools to be used was customary practice. Anyway, I was satisfied with my toenail trim and cleanup. She was a kind woman, making sure I exited safely from the chair. I like this salon. The ladies have sweet dispositions and do not do a lot of chattering among themselves either.

Raquel Daniels My sister and I went in today for our first pedicures. Every one was so nice and our feet came out so bomb! We will definitely be coming back and we will be recommending this nail salon to our friends and family. Thank yall so much!

Emma Went there today, got a simple short square acrylic set all one color and only costed 40$. Ladies were super nice and made sure we had water and such. I’ll definitely be going back there whenever I need to get my nails done again!

Casey Gregg-Guyton I took my 90 year old vet neighbor in to get pedicure and manicure. The tech was very good with him and did a great job. It was nice and quiet as it was early in morning and a weekday which was good for 90 yoa and there was not a strong smell. One of his caregivers recommended this place as she goes there. I plan to take him back monthly and also take my hubby

I8ahampster Num num I own a business right down the way from them and giving that I moved here a while back I need to find a place closer to home. I tried lovely nails out a few days ago. Given they close at 6:30pm I walked in at 6pm. They both took me in even though it was time to leave soon. They did my pedicure and nail refill. Given it was a last minute schedule I hope on next visit I can look at pedi menu to see if they offer more detailed pedis. I love to get my feet done and pamper my feet. I am hoping to have a little more time to get longer pedi, wax on my feet, as well as nice volcanic lotions, scrubs and oils. I would definitely recommend lovely nails! It’s small and more cozy compared to the bigger hype over blown loud nail salons. I love to go somewhere that I can relax and spend over an hour getting my pedi and nails done. Again both employees working were very nice and talkative. Thank y’all!

Jessica Ordonez They charge 3-5$ extra if you don’t have cash. The eyebrow young lady is awesome, but the other workers are very rude. Sister wanted short oval nails and this is what she paid $43 for (below) the lady was very aggressive and kept hurting my sister’s finger after cutting a hangnail too short. If you are expecting good customer service from this salon …. Don’t! Freaking ridiculous!

michael langiano Woke up to the news that my familys cruise was delayed. Decided to treat my wife to a manicure and pedicure to start our vacation off on a good foot rather than be sad about the delay. Fortunately, we found Hong, did amazing work! She was so polite and very professional. She did not skimp or skip any steps. She was very careful with cleanliness and hygiene. Would definitely recommend her and will probably make this part of the plan for our future trips.

Amanda Thomasson I am biased to the owner Hong. I started going to her a few years back at another salon. Was sad to see her leave that place. I was so happy to find she opened her own place. Like always she did quality professional work with personable interaction. The draw back for me was the payment services are zelle, Cas app and cash. Jewel Hong is a wonderful woman who does amazing work! She is always willing to help and offers her services at a reasonable price. Her passion for her craft is evident, and she is incredibly talented. She is also very sweet, making it a pleasure to be around her. Say goodbye to your usual salon, where the staff may speak another language and you often dont get what you ask for. Instead, say hello to your new fabulous and professional salon with the lovely Hong!

Izzy Will never go again charged 50 bucks for basic one color almond nail like what then the nails were so flimsy they broke. My money down the drain ,and on top of that the gel chipped off.the workers are rude.if u want to waste your money this is the place to go

Shanea B Mimi did an amazing job! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and the length, she matched it perfectly! The attention to detail and customer service was better than most places. They offer alcoholic beverages, water, and soda. With the pedicure, you get a heated neck wrap that is delightful.

M oon The metal utensils were in sterilized pouches but she didnt put the brush she used to clean my toes off in any barbercide to sterilize it afterward, it she just rinsed it off and She put it back on her cart and went on to the next person. I work in a salon so i KNOW what/when it comes to keeping everything sterile. I especially watch when i go to new places. That was my first and last time going there. Thats a good way to spread staff infection and other diseases.

Raisa Rodriguez Me, my friend and daughter went here with intentions to get 3 full sets and 2 pedis. I had showed the lady a picture of the color i wanted. She chose to do 2 different colors that wasnt what I wanted at all. My nails are crooked, thick and hurt. Ive been getting my nails done for a very long time and this is by far the worst. I had to come home and fix them. My daughters nails are all crooked and my friends. By the end of her doing my nails I didnt even want the pedicure. Then it was completely over priced for the quality. I have no problem paying for good quality work but this was ridiculous. I dont recommend this place to anyone.
