So the sesrch is on am for a new hairstylist that can really cut my hair and not just copying other people’s work but really concentrate on what is best for me. I was given the advice to Google best hair salon in River Oaks for men’s haircuts because apparently the River Oaks is the very high-end area of Houston. So to be in that area you have to be very talented to maintain a hair salon business in such a affluent area of Houston. So after Googling, I was given a variety of choices and what stood out to me was this hairstylist that takes into account an individuals, lifestyle, personality, professional lifestyle, etc., versus just cutting your hair found in a magazine or on some celebrity. Well, I booked my appointment with R Valentino Salon. And what was unique and new to me was the exclusivity of a salon suite where it’s just the client and the hairstylist versus being in a big box hair salon of chaos. Randall did a very detailed analysis not only on my hair but how I style it, wear it, etc. throughout the day. It was really cool how he walked me through every step of it and taught me a lot of things about how I can style it versus plastering it in place with products. I really do appreciate how his eye for detail was like no one I’ve ever seen before. I’m truly grateful to find a new hairstylist in this country where individuality is greatly encouraged and Randall a.k.a. Scandal Randall was the one to really help me tap into my individualized persona.

Los Meaves This man just upgraded my entire style and aesthetic by one cut. He explained my current haircut and style (texture, uneven lengths, etc..) and educated me on techniques done to me in the past. He focused so closely to detail and ensured he snipped every angle and edge PERFECTLY. He also taught me how to style it up to 4 different ways should I want to mix it up depending on mood. Although we didnt have an appointment, the team was quick and attentive, taking their time to make sure we both looked great. They were incredibly welcoming and made my 8-year-old feel at ease for her first Brazilian Blowout. Even though we live 40 minutes away, it was absolutely worth the drive. The salon itself is spotless, and theres plenty of parking. We’ll definitely be returning!

Ms. Anaite being the color specialist, Mr. Alan being the Brazilian Blowout expert, and their sons being the most attentive and sweet working in the front desk and running their Real Estate company. You walk into this salon and feel so welcomed and leave with the biggest smile. I like to call them the dream team. They recently moved to a new location in the Spring Branch area which is so exciting. I live in the Spring Branch area, but would travel to the Jersey Village location they used to be located in because I was never able to find the quality work they do in this area. They work by appointment only, which to me I love because they really do give their undivided attention to every client that steps into their salon. This week was their Grand Opening at their new location and I stopped by for a quick wash and style and I left completely satisfied as always. Best customer service and results I could ask for. Usually when I get my hair dyed it gets dry shortly after and my ends will start splitting but it’s been four months and my ends still feel soft and my hair is still looking great! Brian Spitz It’s hard to explain just how much this salon (its owner) cares about quality. They are meticulous in choosing talent, and training that talent continuously. Hue is very thoughtful about making sure they’re offering on trend cut and color, but in well-practiced ways. They are so invested in delivering value to their customer, it’s really uncommon to see that as a fundamental driver for businesses today. The salon is incredibly warm, not at all haughty, and still entirely first rate in every way. The atmosphere here speaks a lot to the well groomed culture. Alan has cut my hair for years and years and I would never consider going anywhere else. So many talented people here as well. Definitely a top recommendation.

Pich Hastings I had a really wonderful first visit here. I came here to get a wash and blowdry for an event I had later in the day. Leslie did a wonderful job on the blowdry, the style lasted all day. She was very knowledgeable in recommending products that worked best for my hair. The experience from start to finish was really great, the front desk staff was always very nice as well. Definitely gives you the feeling of taken care of in a luxury environment. chanya driver I personally have never seen a place of business like this. I love the concept of all of these black stylists and techs all in one place. I had my services with Shamorrow( suite 610) and it was just the most personable experience. I felt really at ease sitting in her chair. The whole place felt like a safe haven for black hair!!! ATM on site and vending machines, as well. Side note, it was so clean in this place❤️

Victoria Hines My stylist is Linda Lightfoot. Ive been coming to Linda to do my hair since 2021. I moved to TX in 2017 and struggled to find a beautician who could do a curl on my hair. I struggled to find one, and the ones I did find were not up to standard. I found Linda and will never visit another stylish to do my curls. The first time she did my hair, I was blown away, and so was my husband. We both agreed that Linda Lightfoot is the first and only stylish to do justice to my thin hair and the end results are always excellent and above par. While her specialty is natural hair, her curls sets her aside as the number 1 curl stylish I have ever used. I will always use Linda as my stylish without question.

Coronda Allen Sederia is responsible for my daughter’s hairs. She does wonders with the silk press. I give her 10 stars if I could. The love and care for her hands to my daughters head shows she know what she’s doing. I highly recommend her.

Taylor Richards Jessica Miller/ Itzy is phenomenal all around. From the execution of styling my hair, including a shampoo in todays day where most stylists don’t want to do that and charge extra for it, her hospitality and personality, she offers various television entertainment if you’d rather that instead of a chat while she demonstrates her perfect craft on my head, and lastly her suite is always clean and leaves me feeling so comfortable. *additionally I requested to keep the black tie on my head when I left as it was raining. I wanted all the coverage on my head I could get.

After the hairdresser decided what colors to use on my hair, I waited while somebody was massaging my neck and shoulders. The coloring in my hair is beautiful. I was recommended a new color/tone in my hair and it is gorgeous. The woman who washed my hair massaged my scalp wonderfully. After the shampoo before my haircut, I was brought a mimosa. The way she curled my hair, and once again, my hair had so much body, I loved it! I have alopecia, and she switched my bangs to the other side...so it wouldnt be so obvious.
