Courtlyn Patranella My husband & I just wanted to say how amazed we were by the kindness everyone showed us during our trip here. Missy at the front desk was very helpful and kind. We could not say enough good things about the doctor, Tony Abraham, that treated our two year old son. He was able to calm our son down, was very, very patient with him and quickly assessed the issue. I wish everyone could have this experience with a doctor, especially when it comes to their kid! Thank you so much again Tony. We hope all good things forever come your way!

Christina Trevino My daughter hurt her knee dancing and was convinced it was broken ( she takes after me in being dramatic! ) they entire staff here is amazing !!! From Bailee at the front desk greeting you with a smile to the techs and nurses Morgan ,Jolene , Brook and Christen the very patient radiology tech Laura and of course Dr. Phong who is my daughters absolute favorite!! She said the second he walked into the room she immediately felt better his personality and smile are infectious and light up the room ! She even gladly accepted a shot !!! That never happens !! She says the atmosphere and staff are just so warm and welcoming and make you feel like family ! She gives them a 10/10 !!!

Faith Brown The staff was incredible! The wait was really short, my nurse Casey was so sweet, and Dr. Price was amazing. He was so helpful and personable. It was my first time going but they made me feel like they’d known me forever. Definitely will be going back in the future if needed. Highly recommend!

Karen Lively Great experience! I got checked in and was called back within 5 minutes. Brook was awesome! She swabbed my nose and it wasn’t painful. Thank goodness! That’s my least favorite part of a Dr. visit when I’m not feeling well. This will be my go to clinic from now on!

Gail Skinner I had the most wonderful experience here. I came in nervous and was made very comfortable right away. The staff here is amazing. They are the most caring staff and make you feel better just being here. The staff was very thorough and everything done was done gently and with great care. I will not hesitate to come back and I will recommend this clinic to anyone.

Mack Marsh Dr. Dhaduk and his staff violate patient HIPAA rights and civil rights. They refuse to see patients simply based on their disability. The doctor specifically said ‘it would be a lot of paper work for me’. So, I guess doing their job is too much work. Avoid this schister!

Hannibal Veguilla The Doctor is a solid guy. His staff is awesome. He listens to what you say and works with you on what is best for you and your issues. I have had zero problems using my insurance. Dont mind the bad reviews, probably more going on than what they are saying.
5 /5
Wes Dennard Dr Dhaduk is excellent!! He is up front and honest with you on health needs. It is refreshing to have someone with your best interest being their number one priority. I believe that it is rare, these days, to find a doctor that really listens to you, which in turn, allows him to give you the best option/options that are specific to you and your health. His staff is extremely friendly and you know your in the right place when they know you by name. If I could give a 6 star rating I would!!!

Michael Seals Appointments are $400 no matter what without insurance. Obscenely expensive, especially with the terrible shape the building is in and the even worse service. Nurse/secretary was rude and short, and did not listen to me. Then I saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes. I got the meds I needed but at what cost?
1 /5
Christina Wiggins Dr. Dhaduk is a very nice physician. He’s very caring of all his patients and I don’t find myself being rushed out of his doors like most doctors nowadays. He will genuinely take the time to address all of your concerns and questions! I would recommend him to anyone that’s looking for a new PCP!

Ben Wyman We had a really good experience here - the surgery went great, staff was very caring, we felt really well treated the whole time. The cafe in the middle of the atrium was a great addition if you’re staying for 12-15 hours in a row and keep needing coffee, and it’s a solid cafe. Subtracting a star just because some bits of the facility need some help. Most of the elevators were out of order, the guest bathrooms were all in rough shape - lights not working, dirty, smelly, etc. They do a great job of having lots of little stations to wait in. I got a lot of work done in a small parlor they had. And you can use the cafeteria seating any time. Also, the hospital is named St. Joseph’s, but they LOVE St. Francis here. One small statue of Joseph in the Atrium, EVERYTHING ELSE is St. Francis art.

Ben Wyman The staff is lovely here, and we had a great experience with brain surgery, which is something you really want to have a good experience with! But facilities are a bit run down - the bathrooms are dilapidated, half the elevators out of order. And for some reason they don’t know how to spell “reverence,” which just kind of annoys me personally.

Michael Brown 1 star is way too much for this hospital. Let’s start with the cleanliness. I’ve seen gas station restrooms cleaner than the room I had on the telemetry floor. Upon entering the room, it smelled like urine. It was obvious by looking at the floor and in the corners of the room, that this room had not been swept or mopped in a very long time. It was so bad that I threw my shoes away when I got home. Now let’s move on to the floor Doctor. Dr Shima. This guy was pretty much worthless, and must have totally forgotten about his oath of ”do no harm”. He never came in to the room to perform a patient assessment. He never let me know about any kind of game plan of treatment. He sent a nurse into the room 12 hours after my arrival to administer medications that no one could tell me why I was being prescribed them. I asked several times to speak with him since I had not seen not one doctor after being there for so long. So with that said, I finally got up and left. Apparently this is common practice for this doctor and this hospital, otherwise treatment would have been done differently. If CPR is in progress and St Joseph regional is the closest facility, go ahead and call it a death in the field before bringing me back to this place. I look forward to hearing from the hospital about this. I can advocate for myself, but many people can’t or just dont know any better to be a patient advocate.

Deborah Turner I have been to several hospitals in North Carolina and St Joseph beats all of them including Duke. Staff know how to be polite, respectful, take time with nervous patients and are extremely friendly. Makes you feel and home. Extremely clean, dimming lighting was a plus. Just made me feel calmer before surgery. Thanks for a great experience.

Tammy Baldwin I give it a 1 star I would like too give it a o. My dad had to be taking to the hospital almost 2 weeks ago for a blockage, they put him in the hospital. First they put him on a floor, that he should not have been on. Then they said they wanted him to go too a rehab to build his legs back up so he can walk again. Will my dad has dementia so he yells and for the first time in his life he started hitting. So the case worker said she would have to find a place that would let him go to. She told my mom on Monday they had found a place. So I looked it up and it had bad reviews. So I called the case worker and got voicemail so left her a message asking her to call me back. She never did. On 11/30/2023 the case worker called my mo.and said he was being moved to that rehab. My mom told her the concerns we had and the case worker said he goes there are you take him home. They took him to the rehab like in a 30 minute time frame. So when I got back my mom told me what happened. I said lets go home and see what to do. Not even 20 minutes of being home the rehab called and said we dont take patients like my dad. That we need to get up there. We run up there and he is still setting in a wheelchair cause they didnt want him to fall and leave the rehab. The rehab was calling the hospital and we was calling and no one would answer. The gentleman that was running the rehab center said that this hospital will do that they call it a dump. Cause they dont make enough money off of Medicare and they want them out of their hospital. We had to take him home and he cant even walk yet.

Wu Made me pay upfront before my procedure. Overpaid initially, and had to make them refund over 1000 dollars. Was the biggest hassle getting in contact with the billing office over the refund. Took dozens and dozens of calls and always hearing excuses. They claimed they delivered the check to me but "accidentally" got my address wrong. Horrible management. After countless calls of asking for my refund, I finally was able to get it after 4.5 months..... I dont understand why these hospitals are so money hungry.

Richard Herriger Amazing staff, nurses and surgeons. Took amazing care of my wife who has had two spinal surgeries there so far. The surgeon and his team did an awesome job keeping me informed on how she was doing throughout the entire surgery. Everyone there is amazingly nice and takes pride in their job. Thank you The Physicians Centre Hospital for the amazing care you gave to my wife!

Tyler Vail Over charged by 700$, didnt tell me Id be getting multiple charges. I noticed A YEAR LATER they over charged me and now Im getting a refund. Just do honest business guys... Youre a hospital, I have it hard enough already.

Sophia Moody Where do I start? I’ll start by saying the nurses and doctors are great at the hospital but the billing department needs to be shut down. I had a surgery in February 2024 and they overcharged me (1 out of many that I had there) since then I have had the registration tell me I had a credit sitting on my account for months. For the past 6 months I have been trying to get my refund that they overcharged me for the surgery. I have called and spoke to multiple people in the billing department. It has been excuses after excuses. The last few excuses were there was an emergency and no one can issue a check but me. I was supposed to be given a follow up phone call about it. That never happened. Even the managers didn’t do their job. The only helpful person that works there is Angela. She has been going out of her way to communicate with me. The last thing Angela told me was they are not doing refunds right now. How in the world can you hold someone’s money for MONTHS?!? I’m honestly thinking about filing this with the court and BBB.

Sheila Walker The Imaging Dept. had forgotten that they had checked me in for a cervical, thorasic and lumbar CT exams, one day. After waiting 2.5 hours and following up with them several times, I had decided that I had had enough and I left and went home. I was there due to a nasty fall that i had taken after revisional thorasic surgery 5 weeks prior. The bad thing is, the reason I chose this facility, was because the other 2 hospitals in the area were not any better. So much for healthcare!

Nurse Kathryn (Katie) is amazing so is doctor Villarreal. Thank you for taking care of me.

Michael Eagan Great place to wait but not a good place for a emergency. I took my son when he was chocking on a mint. He was vomiting and crying. I passed up the fire station thinking professional medical help would be better. Big mistake he cleared when we got in I told the receptionist the whole story. She went to the back and came out ask for are name. They had a record of us went back said a doctor is not available but you should go to urgent care to make sure it didnt get into his lungs. Thanks no doctor or nurse even bother to come out. Since they care so much about a 4 yr old next time Im going to st joesph or somewhere else. Its not like we had no insurance as he had been there before not sure how you could deny emergency treatment anyway.

Jeremy Byers Dr. Dickson has been my primary care physician for several years and has always provided top-notch medical advice and services. The clinic staff have always been polite and professional, and as a Veteran, I can certainly appreciate that I have never waited more than the recommended time to allow blood pressure to normalize (yep, thats a thing). Its gonna be tough to find a clinic on par with this one once I move away.

C L The stars of this review do not reflect the quality of the medical staff at this clinic. The doctors and nurses are all highly competent and actually care about the patients. The front office is another story. Whenever I call in they seem completely disinterested in helping me find care. This is the where my primary care doctor operates his practice. Tell me, what is the point of having a primary care doctor if Im asked to wait 3 weeks to see him when I get sick? Do I continue suffering and let my obvious ear infection fester for weeks?? Obviously not, I went somewhere else. So again, WHAT IS THE POINT of a primary care doctor you cant see when youre sick??

Frederick Luschin BSW charges in excess of what is agreed upon with insurance. Building is clean. EDIT from a few hours later: Note that they responded to my feedback here within an hour, but before posting this review, I sent a message to BSW about double billing, but have yet to receive a response. I realize that BSW is a large organization with different departments to handle google reviews and customer messages, but not responding to a customer concern whilst rushing to answer reviews reflects very poorly on them. CAVEAT EMPTOR! Further EDIT to one star: They got back to me after a week. Basically, if you discuss anything with the PCP other than the "scheduled" reason, they can tack on further charges. In other words, if your doctor says, "Do you have any other concerns?" you should say no, as they will then charge you for "additional" services.

Janet Welch My first visit to this er after moving to area 1 year ago. I have a history of back issues. 3 back surgerys, spinal cord damage in neck after it ruptured,I know pain and have learned to cope w I th just an array of home remedy , I never use er or really doctors if I can help it after using an er in town with several complaints of things I was experiencing that were rather scary and something Id never experience, one being half my body went numb, pain in chest, arms, back, psin like Ive never known, after mri, blood work, ekg i recieved my walking papers after being told nothing was wrong all test negative..and that my symptoms I claim to have dont add up to any diagnosis and I need to see mental health..left and went down hill fast ,saw my surgeon pa and told him symptoms.and he told my husband this isnt good and sent me to hospital, diffrent scans of neck and brain it was found that my neck ruptured and was 3/4 thru spinal cord, wentvstraight to surgery. .But my symptoms recently shifted, something diffrent, constant and my ability to walk is heading downhill...came to this er and due to recently leaving g my Id at bank drivethru I was informed I wouldnt be seen, mind you I have a wallet full of things like s.s card, medicare card, cards galore you name it ive got it, enough stuff that I recently took a round-trip flight without my id.The girl at front desk was rude, never asking whats going on,she lacked any fir of empathy or offered even a smile and Im really sorry..nothing,just short, annoyed with questions I had..so going home ,and wondering what they would have done if Id shown up in an ambulance..unbelievable.

Brandi Buzzard My first visit to this emergency room went very well. Most of the staff was kind. Doctor Smiley (I believe) it was, was very kind and helpful. It felt like I was finally being listened to, after years of seeking out help for abdominal and pelvic pain. Not long after my first visit, I followed the follow up guidelines and went back in because my pain had suddenly returned and was worse than before. Sadly, Doctor Smiley was not there and a cold, Doctor Conroy was on shift. The receptionist, nurses, and doctors were bombarding me with questions even though I was doubled over in pain, trying to focus on just listening to them. They all had attitudes and acted like they were angry that I was there again. I got a shot of an anti inflammatory, and told to go home. I’m obviously very angry about having to pay such a large amount of money for cold, rude service and no care or resolution at all. My discharge papers were full of typos and grammar mistakes. I guess my only advice would be: just pray that Doctor Smiley is on that night/day.

Dawson (DizzyOcean3775) I would take star away if I could. Everyone I know thats been here has had bad experiences here, my mother had to stay here for a week and could barely stomach the food, my grandfather stayed here and he was repeatedly forgotten about. However, the real reason Im writing this is because every case has one thing in common, the wait is atrocious. My grandmother was recently brought here via ambulance and they made her wait in the ER for NINE HOURS. There is absolutely zero reason why it should take even a quarter of that time. They couldve taken her to any other hospital in Texas with 9 hours. God have mercy on anyone that is forced to come here in an emergency because there isnt a single sense of urgency in this entire emergency room. The people in charge here should be ashamed of themselves and judging by the numerous other 1-star reviews they deserve to be sued. The lack of effort is even reflected by their automated response system giving the same response to every bad review they get. Its like they know theyre not doing their job and they blatantly dont care.

Misty Walton So I’m giving a 1 star because i had to give a star in order to leave a review! So first things first, i swore i would never use this ER ever again after my son almost lost his leg years ago from this hospital diagnosing my son with a bruise on his leg that had a hole in it, that was actually a staph infection! Well enter today 12-4-2024, and i go back to this ER!! Why did i make this mistake??? I get there with excruciating pains in my lower left and right sides and lower back, they take me back, get my vitals, have me go back to the waiting room….then I’m called to go give a urine sample…then they call me for a ct scan, back to the waiting room i go after that….next up I’m called back for blood, back to the waiting room i go after that…..now here we are 3 hours in and still not back in a room…,finally get called back in a room, to sit for another hour! Next i go to the bathroom, come back only to be followed back in my room by a PA…gave her all my info, she explained what my labs said, and what her concerns were…she prescribed me some pain medicine FINALLY!!! And says she wants me to do another test, and once I’m done with that test it will be sent off and that will take about an hour! So I’m sitting, waiting another 2 hours in my room….in comes a nurse that informs me i am being kicked out of my room so that they can put someone else in the room and that i need to go sit in a chair, and once my labs come back they will put me back in the room i was in!!!! I advised them i would not be leaving, as that is not acceptable!! Why would you have me leave while I’m in pain, just to put someone else in the room, only to kick them out when my results come back??!!!???!!! Makes absolutely no sense!!! So i discharge myself after they advise me they are getting the security to kick me out!!! I promise you, i will get something done about this ER!!! These nurses and doctors, or should i say, so-called nurses and so-called doctors need to go back to school and train on empathy, customer service, and just plain mannerism!!! St Joseph’s is a joke!!! And the little security guards that wanna be cops are the biggest jokes!

Haley Terrible ER. If given the chance, do NOT go here. I went here, straight from work, with excruciating pain. Because "my vitals were not bad," and I "was not hunched over," I was told it would be a 4 to 5 hour wait. So I am supposed to put on theatrics to be seen? My tears, clutching my stomach, and biting back pain was not enough? She sent me to give a urine sample and then told me it would be at least 4 hours before I was seen. Therefore, I decided to go somewhere else. I told another lady at the front that I did not want to be seen anymore and that I was leaving to go to another ER. Now they are trying to bill me hundreds of dollars for lab work I did not ask for, nor consent to. I understand being short staffed and overwhelmed. What I do NOT understand is trying to bill me for literally doing nothing, and why my lab work (urine sample) was sent off without my consent for treatment. Extremely frustrated by this. And for your information, Baylor Scott and White was AMAZING.

Ivan Ivanov 0 stars. St. Joseph not only has some of the worst ers in Brazos Valley and some of the rudest doctors and nurses they also have incredibly poor urgent cares. My girlfriend has went there multiple times looking for help with a serious medical problem and have not diagnosed any problem or helped but, instead got rude and argued the whole time and have sent her away, shes lost over 30 pounds trying to find a doctor that would help her and none of the doctors here wished to help! Myself Ive had multiple encounters with their urgent cares and doctors. Ive lived with a extremely bad cyst and they let it get extremely infected, one of their doctors cut off the top half and told me it would go away, I went to one of their surgeons for a follow up, had him throw my antibiotics in the trash and tell me I didnt need them and tell me that the cyst wouldnt come back. I went back to their urgent care after a couple of weeks because to my surprise and disappointment the cyst came back even worse, just to have another one of their doctors chew me out for not taking care of my problem sooner after I already went there to get it taken care of just a month before. My cyst had gotten severely infected again and they didnt even give me antibiotics this time just sent me home again to suffer with it. If youre looking for a doctor or a er go to Baylor Scott and White where they actually take care of you and treat you with basic human respect! They should be incredibly disappointed with themselves; they are here to help not profit off our suffering and offer no help.

Shawna Ross The two times that my family has had to use this ER in the past year have been utter failures to give the right diagnosis. One member of my family could’ve lost eyesight due to their incorrect assertions and lack of proper equipment. It’s a good thing I listened to my intuition and went for another opinion as soon as possible. Another member of my family went around for a week with a laceration that went down to a bone after they had told us that there was no such injury there. Horrible.
