Janet Welch My first visit to this er after moving to area 1 year ago. I have a history of back issues. 3 back surgerys, spinal cord damage in neck after it ruptured,I know pain and have learned to cope w I th just an array of home remedy , I never use er or really doctors if I can help it after using an er in town with several complaints of things I was experiencing that were rather scary and something Id never experience, one being half my body went numb, pain in chest, arms, back, psin like Ive never known, after mri, blood work, ekg i recieved my walking papers after being told nothing was wrong all test negative..and that my symptoms I claim to have dont add up to any diagnosis and I need to see mental health..left and went down hill fast ,saw my surgeon pa and told him symptoms.and he told my husband this isnt good and sent me to hospital, diffrent scans of neck and brain it was found that my neck ruptured and was 3/4 thru spinal cord, wentvstraight to surgery. .But my symptoms recently shifted, something diffrent, constant and my ability to walk is heading downhill...came to this er and due to recently leaving g my Id at bank drivethru I was informed I wouldnt be seen, mind you I have a wallet full of things like s.s card, medicare card, cards galore you name it ive got it, enough stuff that I recently took a round-trip flight without my id.The girl at front desk was rude, never asking whats going on,she lacked any fir of empathy or offered even a smile and Im really sorry..nothing,just short, annoyed with questions I had..so going home ,and wondering what they would have done if Id shown up in an ambulance..unbelievable.

Brandi Buzzard My first visit to this emergency room went very well. Most of the staff was kind. Doctor Smiley (I believe) it was, was very kind and helpful. It felt like I was finally being listened to, after years of seeking out help for abdominal and pelvic pain.
Not long after my first visit, I followed the follow up guidelines and went back in because my pain had suddenly returned and was worse than before. Sadly, Doctor Smiley was not there and a cold, Doctor Conroy was on shift.
The receptionist, nurses, and doctors were bombarding me with questions even though I was doubled over in pain, trying to focus on just listening to them. They all had attitudes and acted like they were angry that I was there again.
I got a shot of an anti inflammatory, and told to go home. I’m obviously very angry about having to pay such a large amount of money for cold, rude service and no care or resolution at all.
My discharge papers were full of typos and grammar mistakes.
I guess my only advice would be: just pray that Doctor Smiley is on that night/day.

Yesenia Gonzalez One of the best ER services I’ve received in years. Quick response, safety always first priority. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. I felt heard and understood. My fears were acknowledged and everyone was very detailed oriented and always made sure I was able to understand the medical statements. Very patient and helpful, I was able to leave better than when I arrived. Thank you for your help!
