kaiitlyns ashes I came in as a walk in. My friend is going out of town and was all booked up but I enjoy going and getting a good pedicure at the same time every now and then. I saw this place on Google, and trusted the reviews. And Im glad I did. This is probably the best nail salon in Beaumont. Ryan did my pedicure and he was absolutely amazing. I hadnt had a pedicure in almost a year and he did great on the massages and towel wrapping. He also made sure I was comfortable the whole time and did everything in the correct order. And Vivian did my fill and got the nail shape perfect and made sure my cuticles were perfect. She even offered me a cute design idea which Ive never done before and it turned out so adorable. They both were good about not skipping steps and made the experience very relaxing for me. I would definitely recommend them and this place. The atmosphere was so inviting and warm. And everyone was nice too.

cat I went here months ago but and an about to go today but had to share my experience. My nails were done in a timely manner and were absolutely perfect. they lasted a while and were durable. The nails tech who did my nails and the lady who was doing some persons pedicure were absolutely amazing that day. The convos we had were interesting. I let the nail tech freestyle and she absolutely made people ask where i got my nails done. 10/10 would recommend. Friendly, very reasonably priced, advanced nail techs, and comfortable.

The atmosphere is great! You will not feel unwelcome from them I promise . Stephanie did such a great job with my nails and her personality is everything! They definitely have a loyal customer for when I come back down again!

Sarah Stemple $30 for a basic pedicure. The service was ok but the coat was light and really needed another go. Nails cut a bit crooked, not completely straight across. Technician was going so fast made me bleed a tiny bit.

Emma Lee Gentle, but missing quality results!! I popped in for a quick polish change, because I have a important meeting after lunch. Instead of feeling like my nails look better, I definitely feel like they look worse. Which is sad, because I went in with polish that was old and chipped off. As you can see from the pictures, the quality of work that I left with was not very good. My fingers are darkened by the remaining old polish they took off, because they did not clean it off good enough. The polish they use, is definitely not quick dry I sat for almost 20 minutes trying to get them dry in front of their fan..... But they came and got me like my nails were done for me to leave so I had to, as carefully as possible, try to pay for the service and get into my car without completely destroying the already horrible paint job. It was only $10 to change polish, but it was definitely not worth that.

Megan D I use to enjoy going there every month to get a new set or a fill on my acrylic powder dip nails. Recently I stopped going based on the fact that one time my tech took of my set of nails with a nail tip with resulted in one of my nails to bleed and then continued on putting acrylic powder over it. The next time I went I wanted a full set square with French tip and I could tell the tech was still learning which I didn’t mind and trusted the process. But EVERY NAIL THEY TOUCHED WAS BURNING and tearing up my skin around my nail. The end result was terrible I had white paint all over my nail, the dip powder was bulky on my nails, and filed my nails so short than what I had wanted. I couldn’t wait to pay and leave. I went to another salon once I left to soak that set off and get a new one. Never came back since.

Lauren Moreno Great experience at Polish Nail Bar. Dad had a buffed pedicure and manicure, while us girls had a Jelly Pedicure. The technicians took their time doing services and really got our nails back into tip top shape. I will definitely come back for gift cards for the family and for services when I’m in Nederland. The girl who did my nails was nice but the guy in the front has an attitude, I came in the day before and asked how much, for exactly what I already had on my nails, they told me 55, I’m here today and they telling me 80! How ? Because I wanted coffin shape and I told the girl I don’t want it long, just long enough to have it coffin shape. They gonna charge me more because it’s too long when I didn’t even make that determination. That’s insane and when I’m talking to the guy with all the tattoos he’s looking at me dumbfounded like I’m crazy. How you charge me for coffin then for extra length? Doesn’t make sense. I need to find a good affordable nail spot.

P. SJ I have been here since 1:12 PM. I only wanted a refill AND Polish change. I was passed to FOUR people for a refill and am still here at 2:42. It is NOT crowded as you can see by the pictures and there are 9 workers in here. Im not understanding this place. I have observed various people that arrived AFTER me being serviced by TWO people at once whereas I was passed to FOUR people for a refill. Are my services less accommodating because I require less? He spent 17 minutes, all while face timing his girlfriend which I took a picture of, on my nails and only filled them, buffed them and placed them under a UV light. He NEVER filed them so all traces of makeup are STILL on the tips of my nails. I do not wear fingernail polish and I only require tips on my feet. I am NOT happy with this treatment and chose this place due to high reviews. Well ALL reviews deserve posting, not just the ones that paint them in a positive light. I still tipped despite receding TERRIBLE service. I finished at 2:58.

erica cox My friend and I had been going here every two weeks to get our acrylics done here. Our usual nail tech was not present for our fills so someone else had done them. My friends nails were horrendous and falling off next day. She went to ask them to fix it and they acted like they didnt understand. More like they didnt want to. Mine were lop sided and when doing my left thumb the tech had cut my cuticle with the dremel and now I am nursing an infection in that same nail bed. Never coming back here.

Ashley Sauls WORST experience getting my nails done ever, my nail tech sped through the process didn’t even take time to push back and clip my cuticle no after care so my skin was super dry and she split the side skin on almost every nail my hands have been sore for the last week not to mention the fact that most of the nails are detached at the bottom do not recommend

Karina Ponce Showed an inspo pic ( first pic ) and asked her to do the exact length and design. She told me it couldnt be dont with the length I wanted so I changed design ( second pic ) and said same shape and length. She didnt clean my cuticles at all and the color didnt match with the second inspo pic. I payed 60$ for something i didnt like when I got home and showered the top coat of my thumb nail came off half way and a small section on my other finger. Theres so much wrong with these nails ( third and forth pic )but I just settled im highly annoyed right now

Carmen Sanders First, I want to say that I used to come to Zen quite often and the people always did a great job and never had a problem. Since the remodel, about 1 year ago, there are new people. The lady that did my toes had such a funny sense of humor and was very polite and understood English very well. When getting a pedicure, I normally have the nail tech trim my ingrown nails just in case there are any. This time, she checked and trimmed and prodded at my toe with the tool. Keep in mind, my toe was not hurting or sore prior to the nail salon indicating I had an ingrown nail. I just wanted her to trim any excess. She jabbed me pretty hard, enough to where I winced and told her to stop and it continued to hurt. It didnt bleed though me thinking it was ok. The next morning, I had a small amount of puss coming out the side of my toe nail bed. I took a closer look to find that she had, in fact, cut the skin so badly that there was a gash and it was infected with puss. I do not recommend this place anymore and if you do go here, go with caution!!

TIFFANY HEBERT Disappointed in the gel manicure I had done here. I came in at 12pm and was out the door my 12:30pm. I requested a French gel manicure. I was immediately sat and the nail tech asked what I wanted. The tech was nice but was distracted on her phone and looking around the shop. She cut my cuticles, filed and buffed my right hand but only buffed my left hand. After filing and buffing she squirted lotion on my hands and gave a 10 second massage. Then she started the French tip, after she finished with the white I asked if she was going to use the clear pink before the top coat. She said she would’ve had to do that before applying the white. I’ve never had a nail tech do that before. I told her it would’ve been good to know that before she cured the gel. The entire “manicure” took 30 minutes. She got the gel on my cuticles and there are bubbles in the gel. Sadly I spent $50 on a gel manicure a 10 year old could’ve done. For $50 she could’ve taken her time and done the job correctly and actually given me a decent massage. I got better service when I got my pedicure for $50. Sadly I will no longer come to Zen for my pedicures or manicures.

Alina Gallier Q did an amazing job on my nails and was so nice! I’m really picky and indecisive about colors and he was super patient. He was also pleasant to talk to. The last place I was going would burn my nail w the drill or cut me but he was gentle. Highly recommend.

Campbell Stacie I really like the location, the staff, and the atmosphere but sheesh, they are pricey. Me and my daughter went in today each getting a basic full set. Nothing fancy. Mine were super short with a single polish and my daughters were medium length with two colors. They charged $60 for mine and $70 for hers. I was blown away. I’ve never paid over $30 for the exact same service and I’d say I’ve gotten my nails done about 30 times over my lifetime. For it to be DOUBLE what I’ve paid at every other establishment was ridiculous. I won’t be back. No it wasn’t the dip nails either. These were simple French tips… amazed.
