MONICA COSBY Came to check out this new nail salon in my neighborhood. Was greeted by the front desk and checked in via their iPad. It wasn’t a busy day so they were able to take me as a walk in and sit me quickly with a nail tech. My nail techs name was Lina and she was the cutest and very friendly! Throughout the process she asked me if I was happy with the shape and nail color. She was also gentle with my hands and when filing. I went from gel on my natural nail to powder with chrome on top. The salon is new and clean. There are many colors and products to choose from and drinks are complimentary. I would highly recommend the salon and parking is free and relatively easy!

nicole bond Wow, this place feels like royalty! I just moved to Houston and I’m so thrilled I discovered this nail salon. Peter is absolutely amazing! He did such a fantastic job on my nails and was so sweet about it. They even took care of my eyebrows while working on my nails since I had to rush to work in just thirty minutes. They got everything done quickly and truly cared about my situation while keeping everything super professional. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Taylor This is my new favorite place! A friend told me about a new location opening near me so I came to try it out. Tee is so amazing and gave me my first gel-x set. I am very indecisive and multiple people helped me decide on color + design. I wanted go to a few times before leaving a review and the experience has been exceptional every time. Plus I love my nails!

domi when i find someone i like, i usually stay loyal to them. but i didn’t feel like making the far drive and needed a new set last minute. the reviews did not lie! i will most likely make this salon my new go to. i would highly recommend my nail artist Emily. she got me in and out with a full new acrylic set and design in just under an hour and a half. i’ve never had such a quick experience in the salon with high quality work. it’s also extremely clean, smells good, they offer free drinks, and everybody is very warm and welcoming. i will be back in about 3 weeks!

Mercedes Maynard I love Milano! They’re always so nice and do a great job. They were very busy for Christmas today and still made my experience like I was the only person. Ava did my pedicure and it was so relaxing (which I really needed). Highly recommend! She does a great job. Alex didn’t manicure and I love my nails! I even went back and forth between jewel or no jewel and he was great. He even gave me other options if I didn’t like the jewel but wanted sparkle. Highly recommend as well!

Andrea Salamanca Cara did my pedicure and left my toes perfect! She was sweet and friendly. Lina did my nails. I got a builder gel refill and a cute design. I was worried most about the shape, thankfully she did better than I could’ve asked! She was very communicative about what she was doing which I loved. If I’m back in town I’ll be coming here!

Almedina Avdic Owen did such a wonderful job and took such good care of me today! He had incredible attention to detail and did everything to get my inspo right from making sure I had the right base to mixing his colors and even staying way past closing to get my set done. Courtney Coaker I’ve been to a different location in the past, and it was nothing to write home about. In a pinch, went to the Memorial location, and it was great. My nails looked fantastic (if I do say so myself!), and they gave me a 10% discount as it was my first time. I got the glow in the dark, matte polish, and I love it. Cassandra Savage Enjoyed my time with Ari and Ethan. Came to be pampered for my birthday. Drinks are tasty. Ambience is nice with soothing music and the massages are great. I got the milk & honey pedicure with shellac and a full set. They even have birthday deals! (10% off) enjoyed myself and will be back. Salon is clean and well kept. Like that management checks in with you during your experience. Very friendly! Moon is very sweet. She is part of the management/front desk. Definitely will recommend and will be back. Opportunity: need smoothing under edges of my nails, they are sharp. Little details like that matter to me so that I’m not scratching myself and others.

Haley Jay First time visiting Houston, first time visiting this salon. I commented on this out loud when I was there… I also commented on how beautiful the salon was. I went in for a pedicure & a full set on my nails - all my nails are naturally my own, except for one with a reconstructed tip. What didn’t make sense to me is I was charged $45 extra for just the design on my nails. I’ve traveled for many years & I’ve had my nails done for years in cities across the US - I’ve never paid that much for a simple design. The nail tech showed me the total cost for just my hands & I noticed even the tech doing my pedicure saw the total then looked straight at me because even she thought it was too much. Then when I showed the ticket to the front desk, I watched the 3 women behind the desk discuss how big the extra design cost was but they of course didn’t say anything to me either. On this day, I didn’t have the energy to fight… as I’m fighting in so many other areas in my life so…in total I paid $193 plus a $38 tip for a pedicure and acrylic nails. I get these two services done all the time, everywhere… I’ve never paid that much & I’ve had better, definitely better care from the customer service.. Here it is inauthentic & really just for the transaction.

Vi Dimm I went to Dorado Nail Bar the day after Christmas for a new set of Gel X. Upon entering the shop, I was welcomed and asked to sign in. My first thought was “This place is fancy!”. The shop is pretty spacious, there were chandeliers, Christmas decorations, marble tile floor. All the stations are well kept and clean. I got seated right away, my nail tech began to remove the existing design I had on (also Gel X). Note: there is a removal fee for gel. After the removal process of finished, I showed her the design I wanted, she assured that she can do it. We began the nail prep process, which was very efficient - she is definitely a pro! Note: there is a fee for cuticle care. I really appreciate her helping me pick out the colors and offering her opinion on what the colors will look like on real nails. She then carefully picked out the Gel X extension for each nail and applied them. 2 of them are a little crooked but this is a known issue with my nail beds, usually a nail tech would need to pay really close attention to get it aligned perfectly. The design part took the longest (as expected). She did a great job, took my feedback and brought it to life. It didn’t turn out exactly like the inspiration, but the result was beautiful. I have received so many compliments in my nails! It has been 5 1/2 weeks, they are still holding strong - none is lifted, only minor chips from me being rough on them. Overall, I had a lovely experience at Dorado. There are a couple fees here and there, like extra for gold flakes, cuticle cut, existing design removal, coffin shape that bring up the total. Keep that in mind if you’re looking to do designs. I felt that the extra fee for coffin shape could be waived since the Gel X extension is already in coffin shape, but that’s just my opinion. Tip: Once you sign up with your phone number, they occasionally send out special offers so keep an eye on those.

Felicia Flores Wild After an exhausting weekend, I came to get a refill and a pedicure. I was not expecting it to be so relaxing and so wonderful. From the minute, I walked in the door I was greeted with a big smile and a friendly gentleman. Once I sat down in the large comfortable chair, Bebe Greeted me and immediately got started on my pedicure. She was wonderful I knew exactly how deep a massage I needed on my calves. At the same time, Emma came and got started on me to do my refill. She was very kind and paid great attention to detail making sure that I got exactly what I wanted. When she asked me what color I couldn’t decide but told her let’s just stick with one color, but give it a little bit of a curve design. She did a wonderful job. I could not be happier with the experience I’ve had today.

She is super talented and always does an amazing job. All of the staff are super attentive and kind. I won’t ever go to another salon as long as I live here in Houston.

Sara Richardson Great place to get your nails done!! I wanted to get a last minute pedicure for myself and my two girls. They got us in quickly, but what I really appreciated most was the high quality of the nail work and massage with my pedicure. My girls wanted some nail art and they were so happy to accommodate and even found a new fish design for my oldest. I also loved the relaxed atmosphere with simple piano music and clean decor.

Sahar S This was the first nail salon Ive been to in the area and it was great! The inside was clean and I was offered a complimentary bottle of water. I asked for a light purple chrome ombre design, and I love how my nails came out. I’d definitely go back here.

Brenda Hernandez Tara and Hannah were very sweet and thorough with the process! I got a full discounted set with small design and French tip. Prices are not bad considering the market in this area. Atmosphere was clean and friendly. They offer drinks and yummy Vietnamese coffee! Would definitely try them out again.

My pedicure was very relaxing and she did such a thorough job cleaning and massaging my legs. My manicurist was great at helping me decide my color and designs. Kha-Yen Bataineh I have followed Vincent and Rachel to every location. This is the 4th one. The precision, attention to detail cannot be matched. They are THE power duo by far. Vincent has been doing my nails for years. I just got back from recommending Rachel to my best friend for her nails. and they did not disappoint. Rachel Executive Nails is hands down the best nail salon in the Heights! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and professionalism. The entire staff is highly skilled, ensuring that every client leaves satisfied, but the two people who keep me coming back are Anna and Ava. Anna is an absolute artist when it comes to nails—my sets are always flawless, elegant, and long-lasting. I never have to worry about breaks or chips because her work is top-tier! And then there’s Ava, who takes care of my pedicures. When I tell you my feet stay soft and perfect for weeks, I mean it! Her attention to detail is unmatched, and the results speak for themselves. Also, they serve the best drinks. It gives the ultimate spa experience. I’m writing this review to tell you all, don’t just walk to Executive Nails, RUN! If you want high-quality service, long-lasting results, and a salon that truly values its clients, this is the place to be. I’m beyond happy that this salon exists, and I can confidently say it’s the best that’s ever opened in the Heights.

Victoria Chestnut First time checking out this nail shop thats been here little under a year (as of 1/25/2025). Ambiance is fabulous. Has a minimalist design with some Bali-ish elements. They have a bar with complimentary cocktails and a reasonable menu of services. I treated the hubby to a hot stone pedicure and a shellac manicure for myself. The reason I took off one star is because it took quite awhile to begin my manicure. Hubby was about 25 minutes into his pedicure before my manicure started. I also didnt get my drink until 10-minutes or so into the service. Other than that, I would definitely go back. Appreciated the staffs welcoming attitude and the cleanliness. Bathroom was clean, too!!

Koko Jack and Jenny are AMAZING! We came here to get our nails done before our Halloween Disney World trip and absolutely loved them! They knew what design I wanted and how I wanted it. My girlfriend showed Jack an inspo picture and what she wanted differently, he outdid himself. Jenny did my nails exactly how I wanted my nails done from the picture I showed her. Love them! Great customer service, offered us drinks and made us feel really comfortable. I also loved the cute fall decorations they had. I have a new nail salon now!

Rory Read I just got my gel nails done at the salon, and I have to say they are absolutely beautiful! The nails are durable, strong, not too thick, and look natural but still classy. The technician dad a good job, the nail shape is neat, and the nail polish lasts a long time. Anyone who wants pretty nails without have to wait for them to grow should try this!

William Redfield Got my very first pedicure with my wife and the staff were fantastic! The spa is beautiful and clean and the drinks were delicious. I got the paraffin wax treatment and wow are my feet relaxed! The staff suggested a clear coat ("A clear coat is always good for a man") but were delighted at my Valentines theme nail polish idea (pictured). Will definitely be returning

Im usually kinda nervous with getting a pedicure because some people are really rough or not thorough but Gina was wonderful. Jayme Witek Trish and Quinn did a phenomenal job today. The salon is very nice, clean, and spacious. I can’t get over the phenomenal customer service of the front desk and techs. Quinn was fantastic for my pedicure and Trish did amazing art on my nails. The prices for the quality of services I received are extremely reasonable. Maggie Casanova Unfortunately, this was my first and last time visiting this nail salon. I had my nails done with dip powder, and within a day, they cracked from the corners. Four days later, one nail completely fell off. It seemed like the powder they used was too old. I went back, willing to pay for a fix, but even though they close at 7 PM and I arrived at 6pm with no more customers, the guy technician refused to take me in. The lack of customer service skills was really disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place—go somewhere where your business is actually appreciated.
