Marissa Cooper Got my toes lip and brows done by this lady yesterday however she did not do my eye brows correctly and my toes she half fast did them so I would go back in a week or so you can already see the polish coming off they are suppose to last 3 weeks or so by the looks of my toes it’s more like a week really not worth the 77$ that I spent update todays Thursday the 13th I went in last Saturdayand my pinky toe nail chipped this is shellac And I’ve never had a problem anywhere else. My toes always lasted me. I added a picture of how my pinky toe chipped and it hasn’t even been that long when I go to other places my toes last three weeks plus

Melissa Gonzales Came in to get my nails done for Valentines. I left absolutely happy and satisfied with the nail art and the shape. Danny did beautifully on my nails and lisa did amazing on my eyebrows. I will be coming back again!

Theresa Hinojosa I scheduled an appt at 3 to have my lashes done. I finally got taken back to a room at 3:45 to have my current lashes removed. Then waited another 10 -15 for lash tech to come in. I thought no biggie it’s gonna be worth it to have them done, was I wrong. My lash set was so horrible. They tech finished in 37 min and they clearly showed a rush job. When I was given the mirror to look I was utterly shocked and dismayed. They were going in completely weird directions, some up & some down, left and right… just completely different directions. When I got home I used a lash brush to try and get them go in the same direction, they immediately started falling out. I payed $$$$ for nothing. I was going to go back in to have them removed but as I kept brushing they all just fell off. I will never betray my Lash Tech again (who took a weekend trip that forced me to go here)

Bianca Recio Jennie did an amazing job creating my nails. I wanted a black and orange nail color which the pictures do no justice. I requested a cowgirl ghost drinking coffee and a cute ghost behind a pumpkin which she mastered. All was done by hand. I would definitely recommend 10/10.

Tanya Valdez I had a great experience. I felt truly listened to and got exactly what I wanted. I got acrylics from a previous place that I was very dissatisfied with, and came to Star Nails for a fill. Lena fixed the overly thick acrylics and shaped them to look so much better! These pictures are to show how great they look almost two weeks after my fill! I will try to take better pictures later, but I love them. I got a green gel with a chrome on top - exactly what I wanted!

Jackie Their services & prices are non-comparable. I’ve been using them since I moved here approximately 3 years ago. I shopped around & you just can’t find the same services even close in cost. They do it all: eyelashes, waxing, pedicures, & beautiful nails. Tulip is #1 in my book. Sometimes it is a little difficult to communicate in English. So please don’t be afraid to seek out another person there to help you translate. They’re very accommodating. I’ve always been able to get help. My daughter is deaf & Helen is most patient with her & communicates with her very well even though she does not sign. I love Long. I melt like butter during my pedicure. He’s very good with both massage & making my nails look great. We always book Long & Helen together. I also particularly love it when they have the very relaxing beautiful music track that plays in their language. It’s very relaxing & beautiful. I requested special color for my tips & also prefer them rounded & shorter. They always do my nails per my specifications & also do wonderful designs. Just take them a picture & they’ll fix you up. I always book Tracy for my more complicated nail art requests. She’s fantastic, but she’s not the only stylist that does nail art.

Trisha So this is the second time I came to this place just to give it another try thinking maybe the last time I went they were just having a bad day or something. I went in to go get a manicure and I just wanted the shellac gel polish. The manager or owner was like oh we have this new gel. It’s called hard gel. Do you wanna try it? I said what is it? She said it last longer and it’s hard like you would get doing the fake nails the full set or whatever. So I said sure. I’ll try it then. She’s like oh your nails are short. I said yeah I like them short she goes, but these are too short. Can I do tips on them? I said maybe on two of them so she did tips on two of them to even out the length, then she starts just applying the gel and she’s like oh don’t worry I’ll cut your cuticles and clean your nails after I’m done and I’m thinking how do you do that when The polish is already on and you can’t get around the nail or clean around it. So she gets done with the hard gel and she files them down a bit for me on the ones that were too long. So then she’s like go wash your hands and come back and then we’re all done. So we go to the checkout counter and I see that on the charge it says a manicure upgrade. So I asked her why is it a manicure upgrade? She said because I cut your nails and cuticles that’s why I charge for the upgrade. I said, but nothing was done and all you did was put the polish. I said what about the manicure part like the soaking the cleaning the oil the lotion and you’re gonna charge me $50 for that just to put hard gel on my nails and call it a day. So then she tells me oh if you want lotion here there’s some lotion right here you could put it on I’m like seriously. WHAT PART OF SHE DIDNT DO ANYTHING IS THE PROBLEM AND FOR $50 the nails could’ve been better they are already not even $50 worth of service and look at my cuticles she didn’t cut it or clean nothing. Also you need to get them to explain better because that is not what she explained. Next time I will record the conversation.

Kayla Wallace We were the second customer to walk in. My daughter had someone help her first and had a hard time explaining she wanted red French tips. Person kept saying white when she said red so she got upset and just let him do white. I got passed off to two people. Had me in the back while two employees ate sunflower seeds making spit noises and cracking noises the whole time I’m trying to relax. I tell the guy he put too much white and I like my French too thin and to go with the shape of the almond tip. He puts MORE WHITE leaving gaps where he didn’t paint all the way white. Now my French tips have more white than natural nail. Not one shape is the same. Two of my nails were not filed correctly and look like bumpy teeth. They kept asking if we are ok when we obviously were upset. Lady asked after I was done if she could fix for free when she heard me the whole hour and a half not being able to communicate with my nail tech or my daughters. Normally we have great service here but today was the worst service I ever had. It’s my only day off this week and I had to listen to smacking and pay 100$ when my daughter or myself liked our nails. Don’t go here unless you want to stress yourself out. Update: we got contacted and they had us come in to fix! Helen and Kevin did AMAZING! We couldn’t be more happy. Great customer service, quick, and did better than expected like we are use to. Please ask for them if you go to this store!

Mayra Flores-Espinoza I hate to do this, but my experience here was truly the worst I’ve ever had anywhere. I came in for a mani and pedi. A gentleman did both starting with the pedi and I should have walked out after that. When he was shaving my foot with the grater he got too close to my ankle and shaved a chunk of it off. You could see the white meat. I took it as a mistake and continued to the mani where he too did that. Dear God, I have never been burned by a drill so many times… not only did he drill too much of my nail causing burning, when he was shaping my nail with the big file he was filing part of the skin around the nail too. When you go get these services you are anticipating a relaxing experience, but instead I was tense and anxious the entire time waiting for the next pain to come. I was on the verge of tears. The owner noticed my frustration when i was checking out, and I told her what happened with my mani and how much he had hurt me - I didn’t even show her my ankle. She took care of my mani and told me to come back to get it fixed, but I probably won’t be going back.

Jennifer Perez Linda was so sweet and very good at her craft. Best Manicure I’ve ever had and best pedicure. My feet look neat and perfect as well as my American shellac nails with white tips.

Krickett Grimes Really love this place! I got dipped nails here and they lasted forever! This is huge for me because I am hard on my hands, as a mom and a nurse, and the paint stayed perfect for so many weeks, which is never the case for me. Not only did these guys do high quality work but they are also so nice!!! And no pressure to update stuff we didn’t want! So perfect! My daughter got short extensions with dipped and they look so good!

Alexis Frazier Was visiting Corpus Christi for vacation and needed a fill! Stopped by Lavie Nails as I noticed there grand opening signs and they were not far from where I stayed. Nathan got me right in was super kind and did a great job on my nails. Super reasonable and got exactly the design I asked for. Will definitely return when my family comes back for vacation

Eva Lafuente I never leave nail salon reviews but I had to with this one. We were visiting from out of town and I brought my 6 yr old daughter and best friend. I can honestly say that this is the best job I have ever had done on my nails. Everyone was so friendly. I will definitely be coming back next time we visit the island!

Cora W Clean nail salon. Friendly service. I did a mani/pedi. Be aware that they automatically expect youre going to want gel so if you dont inform them right away. I realized it when they started using the nail dremel on my toes so quickly informed them that I wanted regular polish as my nails dry out badly with gel. The pedi - I had asked for lavender scent, but she misheard as I was given lemon. Not a bad scent but not my preference. Mani was done at same time as pedi which I loved. Definitely a salon that Is go back to.

Sadie Garza Great staff! They did pedicures for my daughter and her 4 friends. We were in and out in under and hour and the nails looked great. Very fun experience for the kids. We will definitely be back.

SM P Tech did a beautiful job on my short coffin nails. It was quick, SNS soak off and new set all in 42 min. This was great for a day where I needed in and out in an hour, the reason for the 5 stars. However $50 that’s what I got, no cuticle removal, hand lotion or hand massage like other salons for that price point. Also, salon could look more appealing for that price point. I’d still return for the beautiful nail job.

Marisa Abreo Terrible experience Ivy did my nails I asked for a simple set. She put way too much powder to them to where they looked super tacky They literally looked so bad , and then my pinky nail fell off one day after I left. when I went back to have her fix it, she told me my nail was dirty instead of just fixing the problem You should never argue with a customer, especially being that we pay 80$ + a set and then y’all expect a tip well that sure is not going to get you one ! Treat people with respect or don’t be nail tech some People don’t get to treat themselves out often so when we do we’d like to have a nice Relaxing time . At that she didn’t even bother to make my white tips even and my nail Lengths even!!!!!

Gwyneth Mitchell I came in less than an hour before close, and they not only were more than happy to take me as a walk-in, they offered to stay late to do my pedicure as well! Both Khloe and Khoi were incredibly friendly. I was the only customer and they made me feel incredibly welcome. Khoi did my mani & pedi and did an incredible job! I’m so happy with my nails and had a great experience. I can’t recommend this place enough and I will definitely be a regular customer there now.

Katherine A Richard My daughter and I were there on Sunday April 21, 2024. I really enjoyed the care and service I received but my daughter didnt receive quality service. The gentleman was in a rush to leave and forgot her gel massage and stone treatment that we paid $65.00+ for. I learned we needed to speak up and make sure we get the services we paid for. The owner is delightful. The gentleman needs to slow his roll and give better customer care.

Dawnita Taylor I dont usually do reviews but I so impressed with the service, atmosphere and results that I had to speak up. My manicure and pedicure was done by Sophia and I would recommend her. She was gentle, precise and skilled. I also like that the atmosphere was quiet. There wasnt a lot of chatter among the staff. It was peaceful.

Holly Gosh - I hate giving this place a bad review but my last time in there, my pedicure was just done sloppy. I wrote a private email with photos when I got home. I didn’t notice in the shop until I got outside in the sun. No one replied to my email so I’m making a public review. I don’t know the girls name who did my pedicure. She was lovely but she seemed to have problems with getting the polish only on the nail; not to mention she shaped the nails oddly or not at all. The saloon is lovely. The staff always friendly but not doing a good job and then not responding to a private email is not the way to keep clients.

Shanna Halasz I asked for short square with rounded edges. Simple. I got sat immediately. Very nice place. I was excited to finally find a nail place by my house. 1.5 hrs later my nails are so filed down on one side and I couldn’t even name this shape. They are usually $40 at other places and here they were $50. Which would have been okay if they were done acceptably. I told them and they offered 10% off. I said I’ll pay full price but I want them corrected. He said to come back during the week because they are busy on the weekends or I’ll have to wait. Which is insane due to the time I wasted yesterday! I will update when I attempt to get them redone.

Samantha Schoonover Apparently the owner let all of his staff go on vacation at the same time & decided it would be okay because he would just lie to clients about availability. I called yesterday to make an appointment for fill & pedicure, but then when I get here they put four people ahead of me for the pedicure & all he could say was “we short staffed.” Thought I’d found my regular nail place, but definitely not coming back here. And maybe I wouldn’t be quite so upset if he hadn’t talked the entire time he was doing my nails about how he doesn’t like people who are tricky (liars) & then turns out to be a tricky liar himself….The tricky liar shows himself once again in his response below. Not sure how anyone could have had an appointment before me as I was scheduled for 11:00, the time the salon opens on Sundays.

Alexander McCaskill My wife just recently visited this location and left unsatisfied, to the point she was visibly upset, and the tech just made excuses rather than just saying he wasn’t experienced in doing that style, Kevin sometimes it’s okay to be wrong but to try and say that it’s because you are missing the proper tool is not excusable, do better for your clients. Lisa Gonzalez- D Just wanted a french gel pedi and a simple manicure. Loved every bit of it. Comfortable, clean, and relaxing. Everyone is friendly and happy. I finally got to relax for once.

Anna J I was in corpus for a trip and needed a last minute mani. I stopped by Venus for a walk-in on a Thursday at 6pm. It was slow and they were able to take me right away. I was greeted with a smile and the woman at the front helped pick a great neutral DIP color. I had to get old chipped DIP removed and I asked my nail tech, Randy, to be extra gentle as I have very thin nails. He did exactly as I asked and the manicure looked great! The salon was very clean and well kept with comfortable chairs and drinks available upon request. I’d go back for sure!

Brittaney Garcia Oasis is great! They always accommodate my grandmother, sister, and I! They have a menu full of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to choose from and they are not skimpy at all! The nail techs really know what they’re doing and make you feel like family! They are not pushy and don’t try to constantly up sell you! Bill is great! Ask for him!

Jasminee S Anthony did an amazing job!, I haven’t gotten my nails done in awhile since I haven’t found a nail shop I’ve liked but I showed him an inspo pic & he did exactly what I wanted. Tony was also very welcoming and they also have a whole menu of drinks to choose from.. definitely recommend.

Jodi Broman Oasis nails is home to me❤️ Today I got the "Oasis Royale" pedicure. Hannah ALWAYS takes such great care of me and when I call to see if Hannah is available, Terry always recognizes my voice and addresses me with familiarity. The seasonal Oasis Royale pedicure was lovely.....a milk bath, rose petal massage, steam for my legs and seasonally infused oil.....what a treat☺️ I have never had a negative experience and have always been treated well❤️

Michelle Johnson I went here for the first time today because it had such great reviews and such a high rating, and I expected to have such a great experience but unfortunately, that was not the case. Although the nail tech was extremely sweet and courteous, and had great customer service. Unfortunately, my nail experience was horrible. First of all, I am diabetic, and I made that very clear, but after I was cut the nail tech continued. I kept explaining that I needed to wash my hands because I was diabetic and I needed to attend to the wound as soon as possible. The nail tech kept insisting, I wait. Long story short, I left with two cuts, bleeding, and what now looks to be an infection. The worst part is, I was still charged despite the terrible experience. Aside from numerous cuts, my nails look the worst that they have ever looked.. I am so sad because the reviews were so great and I was expecting to have top-notch quality. I would like to reiterate the nail tech was really sweet and had such great customer care, but unfortunately this happened and I should not have been charged, but I was. My nails also have gaps and are going at a strange angle. Overall, I am very disappointed with how my nails look. I’m going to have them removed immediately somewhere else.

Jessy L. I hesitated for a few days before posting this but I don’t want anyone else to have my experience so I decided to make this review anyway. I don’t normally do reviews but this situation was new to me and I feel it necessary to share. I’m new to Texas and have been getting dip manicures for some time now. I went online and saw this salon was close to my new home and had a high rating. The customer service is top notch. Truly. But unfortunately the skills of this particular tech were very poor and lacking. I asked for an oval shape on very short nails and what I got was almond. The color is good. I consulted with one of my friends out of state who does nails and she said that you can’t do almond on very short nails because you’ll essentially be shaving the persons skin off on the sides. And that’s exactly what happened. The gentleman was filing my skin off and I left with several cuts and messy nail beds. It hurt a lot once he got to my right hand but I knew it was too late at that point. He did ask if I was okay after but I am shy and non confrontational and I felt that at that point I was just ready to leave and call it a loss. I did not speak up and I should have. I regret it now but what’s done is done. I just believe that this nail tech needs training. Again, he did notice and apologize but the damage was done regardless. My suggestion would just be to get your nails done with one of the ladies in the shop or maybe just ask for square and no I don’t know his name. Perhaps the gentleman should just stick to toes until he gets more training or maybe a refresher.

Janell Rivas I came to this nail salon hoping for a great relaxing time and I got it! Diana was great the place is very clean, quiet, & a great atmosphere overall! It is hidden in a shopping center but amazing inside! I got a pedicure, Diana was very gentle and kept asking if I was okay! In the past Ive never had a nail tech so kind & sweet! Definitely found my nail place!

Lauren Espey Absolutely amazing!! I had my wedding shower nails done. They did a great job. They are exactly what I wanted. They are thin and shaped perfectly. Will definitely be coming back for my wedding nails. It won’t let me do a second review or update. I’ve been back and they were great again! I had a manicure and shellac. It was quick and well shaped.

Rebecca Oliveira First time being here. I used to frequent another nail salon but last time I did not get the service I believe I paid for. Being in customer service myself, I know what a customer wants. Today I believe my manicurist was Mason. Did a wonderful job and I love my nails. I went with an ombré look and he did great! They even asked me several times if everything was ok and if I needed anything. I would recommend this place. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you for the great customer service.

Carmen Cantu Loved the atmosphere… first time here and for the very first time in my life I had a pedicure with no pain. I thought it was normal to have sore painful toes several days later. Today, I realized it is NOT the case. My tech was very gentle always checking to make sure I was comfortable. Also, loved my new French Tip Dipping Powder manicure. WOW, awesome see the results yourself.

madelynn patterson Leslie’s nails is amazing. I come here very often and it is the only nail place in Corpus Christi that I 100% trust. They are very reasonably priced and they have amazing service. Ricky, Vivian, Danny and David are the sweetest ever, and I highly recommend to anyone in Corpus.

Alexis O Titan is such a great salon and so worth it. At 6:30, i called to see if I was able to get a volcano pedicure that is 80 mins long and they said yes so i got here at 6:45 and they did not hesitate to service me. Cindy did a fantastic job! She is so sweet, professional, knowledgeable, and makes the entire atmosphere warm. I don’t have a solid pedicure person but I got Cindy’s number so I can come back and see her. She made me and my friend feel so welcomed. Cindy from Titan made my experience so luxurious! And the volcano pedicure is one of my favorite pedicures. This pedicure is so opulent with the 24k gold and milk and honey, etc. I just wish they had espresso martinis lol but the mimosa still hit. 5 stars ⭐️ oh and i paid around $80 not counting the tip.

Troy Hankins Love love love this nail salon. When we came they were packed but we got seated quickly and didn’t have to wait too long. Everyone is so friendly and professional. Their drinks are really good. We enjoyed our pedicures and our nails were done beautifully. Highly recommend and will come back soon!
