Sapphire Babygirl I got my nails done here a week ago and I wanted to wait a week so I could make sure the nails held up. Ngyuen did my nails with a cute bow and Christmas lights on my nails. Kim did my pedicure and I gotta say she did great at removing my calluses and cleaning up my nails beds. I will definitely be back to see them after in the new year.

Vonnah Thomas I went here for the first time with my mum and the service was so AMAZING the manger did my nails and I was really nervous but she made me feel comfortable and it’s SOOO PRETTY I ended up loving my nails

Her recommendations were perfect. Jay was my nail tech and he did exactly what I wanted and made sure I liked it every step of the way. My daughter also got her nails done and they made her feel special and included. 10/10 will be back soon.

Sandy K The atmosphere of this salon is so inviting. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. While having a manicure I was served a beverage of my choice. My appointment was booked on line an hour before the time slot. The nail technician came to get me from the waiting area 5 minutes early. She was polite and made sure I was comfortable during the manicure. This was my second visit and I have been extremely pleased with my nails as well as the customer service. I appreciate that they stay on schedule and do beautiful work.

And Liam is so friendly, funny, a good-natured and hospitable man. Liam treat customers with cordiality and generosity. Will def going back here for their great service and their Vietnamese coffee.

Nidhi T DONT GO HERE!! The worst. I went for a full leg and full arms waxing. They took 1.5 hours in total. Lady who was waxing didn’t even see that the wax was cold kept layering up again and again. When she was bullying, she made massive straps and pulled on the same place 2 to 3 times leaving my skin, scarred and burnt. That lady that had an appointment so handed over to another lady only two strips of waxing was left behind my leg. I was made to lie down on stomach so I could not even see the behind of my legs. The new lady started waxing all over again to the same place, which was already waxed. After my multiple times telling her to stop as she was burning me, she finally heard me as she couldn’t understand English and stopped. I’m attaching photos here just to show how badly I got burnt. While being the lady at the counter says oh because it took so long, I’m gonna give you 10% discount. They didn’t even apologize for the fact that they burnt me. Your 10% discount isn’t going to make me get my skin back. I have to go see a doctor now. The worst place don’t ever go !!!

Atena I’ve been coming to Vuvuzela Nail Salon for the past four years, and I can’t recommend it enough! Emily and Mia are true artists—they always go above and beyond to make every visit a fantastic experience. M Freeman Not impressed. I got dipped nails. All of them are shaped differently. The nail color was not the same color as the sample. The girl argued with me about it and says the color is always a few shades, lighter, which I’ve never experienced. She was rude and gave me attitude. I dropped it. They have reasonable prices, but there is nothing special about how they do nails. Literally each of my nails are shaped differently. They look sort of flat and bulge out at the sides

From the moment I arrived, the manager and receptionists were incredibly accommodating, making me feel welcome and valued. Han was fantastic—she took her time to fix my nails, was so friendly, and did an amazing job. My nails look stunning, and I truly appreciate the attention to detail and gentle care. Badoura Honest I had an amazing experience at Nails of America! The salon is clean, beautifully decorated, and so relaxing. My nail tech was super skilled and took great care in shaping and polishing my nails perfectly. The customer service was top-notch, and the whole experience felt so pampering. Kelli Jackson Oh my God! I have been in Texas going on 4 years now and I just found a nail shop that hit every area on my checklist. When I called Hailey was sweet over the phone and patient with me because I called 3 times. When I walked through the door everyone was friendly. Kaitlyn put my tips on and when I was about to tell her what I wanted, she had an idea of what I wanted. Then Hailey finished my nails and let me tell you, they exceeded my expectations. She made sure every nail was even and neat. They have a new customer. Must come here. Thank all of you guys for an amazing experience.

Summer It was my first time on Valentine’s Day. The spa was beautiful and clean, they were the perfect amount of friendly, they got me seated quickly and I had two technicians doing my service at the same time, which was great for me today. The prices were reasonable, I watched my pedicure lady pull all the tools out of clean/sanitized packs, I really liked that. And they brought cupcakes around to guests for vday! I WILL be back!

Solmaira Zamora The environment is so good and the ladies and gentlemen always get my nails done just how I like them. Everyone makes you feel like you’re at home. The employees here are so sweet and very attentive. The owner is always making sure her customers get excelente service. I highly recommend this place. Daniela Imamovic Employees and staff are excellent very kind and pay attention to detail. The reason for my 2 stars is for the insane price gorging here. I paid for a full set and to get cat eye nails and walked out spending $80 for a very simple nail request. They charging for every little thing. $50 for a full set color powder. $5 for an almond shape? $5 for the length????? these nails are not even long….. and the icing on the cake and additional $20 for the cat eye nails. which was not done properly nor did they have the color i requested from there display. Please see my nails vs what i asked for. I’ve done my nails at home for the past 1.5 years and will never go back to a salon after this. If i have any advice it’s to buy a GELX nail kit, watch a couple YouTube videos and buy some cat eye nail polish.DND the brand them selves even charge way less for the whole bottle of shellac. You will still be under the whopping $80 Charged. This polish itself is only $8 for a whole bottle…Keep in mind this review is not towards the staff that helped me they were tipped properly and tried their best.

Brianna Payne I tried not to leave a review, but for $130 plus a tip, this is ridiculous. My nails were done Saturday 10/12/24 and I had to return that Sunday 10/13/24 because I woke up and my POWDER full set was chipping. It hasn’t been a full week yet as the date is 10/17/24 and my SHELLAC toenail is peeling up like paint! The toe job was already clumpy, but I ignored it. Not to mention the same nail that was fixed Sunday (10/13/24) is chipping AGAIN, along with a different thumb nail that has started to lift. I am a teacher, so not much is done to destroy these nails on a daily basis this soon (excuse my ashy feet as it was cold today and a point needed to be made)! And please don’t try to BS me as if it was my end or anything else, because I have more receipts and we can take it there.

aunya walker This was my fourth time at this particular salon. Each time I visit it got progressively worse. For example, the price went up, and the quality of service went down. Today I asked for A refill and design. Ms. Ann struggled with the requested design so I attempted to find easier designs for her. I was still dissatisfied with the design, which I politely expressed. She said she would give me a discount considering she could not accommodate me however when it came time to pay, she then gets the manager to nickel and dimes the price back up to $90. And they charged me $40 for a polish change on my toes because it was a French tip….. this place has become extremely overpriced for the quality of service that you receive.

Bee Jones I usually don’t leave reviews but I am floored by the level of service I received today. I have been a LONG time customer at this establishment for a while; I’m usually satisfied with the service that I receive. Lately I’ve noticed inconsistency with fees so I made it a point to ask the nail tech today a very specific question about cut down fee and shaping and was given miscommunication. When I saw my charges I brought it to the attention of the front desk thinking it would be an easy fix; we are talking an additional $10 charge. After doing so, another man that was seated at the front desk (who I later found out was the OWNER) was extremely RUDE and told me that we would have actually charged me more. I was wasn’t rude at all, just simply explaining that the fees could have been better explained. Service has declined and always seems rushed, I won’t be back. If you don’t like tons of nit picky fees, mediocre service, and bad customer service go somewhere else.

Nancy Kujak I love this place! It’s the best! It is calming and the service exceeds my expectations every time! There’s no bad chemical smell, which is awesome because those smells give me headaches. The decorations are in line with the calming vibe—it really adds to the relaxing experience. There’s a wide variety of options for the pedicures; I especially enjoy that many come with an upper back and neck massages! The last time I got a pedicure from Van, and I told her I believed I was beginning to get two painful ingrown toe nails. She took care of both so now I don’t have any more pain! This place also will give you a free water, tea, or alcoholic drink! My family and I tried many nail salons in Houston, but this is our favorite—and we highly recommend it!

Nightingale A. Went in to get my Christmas nails done and my nail tech Victoria was very sweet,nice,gentle and did her job well. Customer service was also phenomenal and free drinks?! Heck yeah! I will definitely be going back.

Bonus-they open 7 days a week so call for your appointment.

Hazel Marquez I asked for something simple, but they couldnt even get that right. They did not do the cleaning precautions. They didnt cut my cuticles or my siblings, which made the nails look dry and crusty, with the dead skin coming off from the nails. Bows came out wonky no matter how many times we had to redue them. In the end, they didnt put oil on my hands. Nails were uneven, and the paint was chipping off. The bottom of the nail is all bumpy. There are bubbles coming out of the acrylic 2 days after getting the nails done. I paid 80 for almond French tips with one bow while my sister had longer coffin nails with so many line designs and mixed colors and symbols which also was 80 it made no sense I got something simple she didnt and I still had to pay the same price.

Keshine Alexander Ive been coming to this nail salon for almost a year now since I moved to the area. Overall I can say that I have NEVER had a bad experience, from the receptionists to nails techs its always amazing. Ive tried a few different techs here but I can definitely say I have found my favorite. Emily is “AWESOME” She pays attention to detail and does an “AMAZING JOB” every time (my nails are natural so I only get dipping powder and gel polish on my toes). Emily is probably one of the best at nails that I have come across . She is super sweet and nice and you can tell she loves doing nails. Overall 10/10!

Noemi Hernandez The salon is clean and staff are fairly friendly. However on Jan 29 I got the worst full set ever. I don’t remember the nail technicians name but I won’t ever let her do my nails again. On day 3 I had lifting and by day 11 I was able to remove 7 of the acrylic nails. $55 for horrible nails no thank you.

L OMG… Emily is the best.. she always doing a great job , she knows how to polish and take her time and that’s why the polish last longer and my nails are way better then before I moved to Katy but because of Emily, I will keep coming to this nails salon.

Mariana Carrillo First time visiting. The salon is very pretty, areas are clean, the staff is fairly friendly, however the service was mediocre. I got a square one color acrylic set, the nails were pretty good. Just a couple of correction requests with Ken but the results and price range were okay. Just don’t like that the nails weren’t proper dusted so we cured the top coat with particles. My pedicure was okay. I’m not happy because despite a request of correction, i left with pretty much the same results. My pinky toe nail was left longer than the neighboring one and some even crooked. There are a few different areas of that didn’t come out so smooth around the edges. the massage portion of the pedicure was really just a couple of minutes of a leg rub LOL. The price on toes was pretty much the same as my nails because of a gel up charge. In conclusion, the experience was nice i may have to give another person a try here.

Kha-Yen Bataineh I have followed Vincent and Rachel to every location. This is the 4th one. The precision, attention to detail cannot be matched. They are THE power duo by far. Vincent has been doing my nails for years. I just got back from recommending Rachel to my best friend for her nails. and they did not disappoint. Based on years of experience... they are the most consistent. We even have become friends over the years. Take a peak at my latest set (black with red bottoms .... ;) ) , done by yours truly... TiAsia McGeorge This place is very clean, comfortable, and the staff is friendly! I always make an appointment with Rachel (gel x) and Henry (gel pedi) and am seated upon arrival and leave with my nails the way I requested. Also, Rachel is so fun to talk to! We laugh the entire session.

Rachel Executive Nails is hands down the best nail salon in the Heights! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and professionalism. The entire staff is highly skilled, ensuring that every client leaves satisfied, but the two people who keep me coming back are Anna and Ava. Anna is an absolute artist when it comes to nails—my sets are always flawless, elegant, and long-lasting. I never have to worry about breaks or chips because her work is top-tier! And then there’s Ava, who takes care of my pedicures. When I tell you my feet stay soft and perfect for weeks, I mean it! Her attention to detail is unmatched, and the results speak for themselves. Also, they serve the best drinks. It gives the ultimate spa experience. I’m writing this review to tell you all, don’t just walk to Executive Nails, RUN! If you want high-quality service, long-lasting results, and a salon that truly values its clients, this is the place to be. I’m beyond happy that this salon exists, and I can confidently say it’s the best that’s ever opened in the Heights.

Victoria Chestnut First time checking out this nail shop thats been here little under a year (as of 1/25/2025). Ambiance is fabulous. Has a minimalist design with some Bali-ish elements. They have a bar with complimentary cocktails and a reasonable menu of services. I treated the hubby to a hot stone pedicure and a shellac manicure for myself. The reason I took off one star is because it took quite awhile to begin my manicure. Hubby was about 25 minutes into his pedicure before my manicure started. I also didnt get my drink until 10-minutes or so into the service. Other than that, I would definitely go back. Appreciated the staffs welcoming attitude and the cleanliness. Bathroom was clean, too!!

Sara Richardson Great place to get your nails done!! I wanted to get a last minute pedicure for myself and my two girls. They got us in quickly, but what I really appreciated most was the high quality of the nail work and massage with my pedicure. My girls wanted some nail art and they were so happy to accommodate and even found a new fish design for my oldest. I also loved the relaxed atmosphere with simple piano music and clean decor.

Felicia Flores Wild After an exhausting weekend, I came to get a refill and a pedicure. I was not expecting it to be so relaxing and so wonderful. From the minute, I walked in the door I was greeted with a big smile and a friendly gentleman. Once I sat down in the large comfortable chair, Bebe Greeted me and immediately got started on my pedicure. She was wonderful I knew exactly how deep a massage I needed on my calves. At the same time, Emma came and got started on me to do my refill. She was very kind and paid great attention to detail making sure that I got exactly what I wanted. When she asked me what color I couldn’t decide but told her let’s just stick with one color, but give it a little bit of a curve design. She did a wonderful job. I could not be happier with the experience I’ve had today.

Vi Dimm I went to Dorado Nail Bar the day after Christmas for a new set of Gel X. Upon entering the shop, I was welcomed and asked to sign in. My first thought was “This place is fancy!”. The shop is pretty spacious, there were chandeliers, Christmas decorations, marble tile floor. All the stations are well kept and clean. I got seated right away, my nail tech began to remove the existing design I had on (also Gel X). Note: there is a removal fee for gel. After the removal process of finished, I showed her the design I wanted, she assured that she can do it. We began the nail prep process, which was very efficient - she is definitely a pro! Note: there is a fee for cuticle care. I really appreciate her helping me pick out the colors and offering her opinion on what the colors will look like on real nails. She then carefully picked out the Gel X extension for each nail and applied them. 2 of them are a little crooked but this is a known issue with my nail beds, usually a nail tech would need to pay really close attention to get it aligned perfectly. The design part took the longest (as expected). She did a great job, took my feedback and brought it to life. It didn’t turn out exactly like the inspiration, but the result was beautiful. I have received so many compliments in my nails! It has been 5 1/2 weeks, they are still holding strong - none is lifted, only minor chips from me being rough on them. Overall, I had a lovely experience at Dorado. There are a couple fees here and there, like extra for gold flakes, cuticle cut, existing design removal, coffin shape that bring up the total. Keep that in mind if you’re looking to do designs. I felt that the extra fee for coffin shape could be waived since the Gel X extension is already in coffin shape, but that’s just my opinion. Tip: Once you sign up with your phone number, they occasionally send out special offers so keep an eye on those.

Giselle Reyes This is my second time going to this nail bar and Nico has not disappointed me at all. She’s so observant and always makes sure I leave satisfied, she also keeps a great conversation going. I love coming here and chatting while having a drink! The environment is so warm and they are all so sweet!

Vanessa Jones So I have been looking for a place to get my nails done, I haven’t had a pedicure in 4 years! Donna was amazing! The pedicure was amazing!
