Diana Caldwell Worst pedicure I’ve ever received in my entire life! She didn’t even finish removing my gel polish before polishing my toes. Didn’t clean the cuticle. I literally have to pay to get another pedicure. So disappointed.

Michelle Burton We are new to the area so I have been shopping around for a good nail shop. I asked for a simple pink and white fill. The nails are not great. Will not return. The edges are lumpy and unfiled. The polish does not go all the way back so it looks like my nail is floating. The manicure left me with a bloody thumb...she put super glue on it..... The lady was very friendly and chatty. I liked her alot but in that kind of "that poor lady has to still work" kind of way.

Gracie Barlow Super nice woman, I never got her name. So so sweet. She ended up having to do a pedicure so I got a man for my coloring. He seemed a little bored but did a good job. I asked him for a second coat as my color I picked was sheer and he argued a little saying it won’t look like the picture I showed him. I said that’s ok but I want it a little stronger color. He huffed and did it but other than that it was a good experience. I’m very happy with my nails. I was scared they’d be clumpy because it’s happened before at other salons but she did an excellent job with my acrylic. Also, they do ask that you pay cash just heads up

Brandi Lindblad The language barrier effected the outcome of my nails. I wanted a color gel polish which was supposed to be included w a full set of acrylics and I tried every way possible to make my wishes known to the nail tech doing my nails. I said the word "color" to her atleast a half a dozen times in a half a dozen different sentences to make sure she understood that is what I wanted and still I ended up w a clear gel polish. Then when I asked why I was told that color polish doesnt go over white tips. Now having had white tips many times in the past at several different nail salons over the years I know that is definitely possible and done per the customer request. Did they try to make it right at that point even... No! Absolutely not in any way. They were more worried about getting the 3 Ladies started and done that just walked in last minute before closing time. I do not recommend anyone to go here. Customer wishes are not met. English is very well understood and intelligence is insulted. One star is even undeserved in my Opinion. Completely disappointed!!!

Jennifer Shaun I used to love going here but today was my last time. $50 for gel polish is INSANE and $105 for acrylic with cow design on 2 nails that took almost 2 hours to do and two nail techs to accomplish. Quality has really declined in the last few months. Please try somewhere else.

Erycah Edwards I used to ask for manicure but never got one. But my nails always look good! I get acrylic & chellac! Usually lasts 2-3 weeks before I need them filled. Cost about $55. Photos taken 3 days after got them done!

Katrice Wedley They literally charge for every single thing meaning the shape of the nails, extra length, and all none of the extra charges are posted on the price list in the window. Not to include I checked my card transactions this morning and instead of $84 showing on the receipt they charged me $100. Will not go back there and get my nails done cause it’s way over priced and work is not even that good

Emily This is the best nail place I’ve ever been. They were nicest nail techs ever. The woman doing my nails was gentle and made conversation the whole time. She took her time doing my nails and they turned out amazing. These are the best my nails have been done. They also offered drinks, overall it was just very professional and welcoming.

Karyn Stevens This nail salon is amazing!!!! They deal with all my issues - super dry skin, severe back pain etc. i’ve had some great conversations with them. The owner is an older Vietnamese woman who doesn’t come in anymore, but her son, daughter-in-law, grandson, and other relatives work there. They are all absolutely amazing. What a great family. I’ve tried other nail salons in Paducah and the salon by far is the best I found

Maria Moore I called about an hour before I planned on coming in. The gentleman who answered the phone and took my appointment was very polite and friendly. Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile and helped. The nail tech who did my French manicure was very sweet. She was very professional, nice, and patient. This was the BEST service I have ever received at a nail salon and spa. I will be sending over friends and family. I look forward to many appointments in the future.

melissa heider I went to Extravagant nails today bec my usual place was closed and I needed them done for tomorrow. I have very strong thick nails but had acrylics on to give me a little more length. My nails had grown almost as long as the acrylics so I asked to soak them off and I was just going to put shellac on top. The tech that did mine didnt soak them long enough and drilled them down to my actual nail and had taken length off the top making them shorter than I had asked for. The 3rd time he drilled on my nails I noticed my thumb nail and a few others were splitting extremely thin. Once I had pointed it out he offered to put acrylics on. I have my nails done regularly and this has NEVER happened. I ended up telling him that I didnt want color and left with them thin, uneven and breaking. On top of all that and speaking up about then not bring right they charged me to remove the acrylics.

Charles Atwood My wife and I both asked for deluxe pedicures which was supposed to include a massage. They started on my wifes and she was fairly pleased to include the massage. I had 2 techs do my pedicure. When they switched out, the tech who finished up did not provide the massage and said we were complete. This was our first time there, so we decided not to say anything. However, its highly unlikely we will return.

Tracie Morehead-Smith My daughter and I became regulars or so we thought at BBnails. Little at a time the salon turned into more of a daycare than a nail salon. It showed in their work as well. We ALWAYS tipped at least 20% even though many times we had to wait at least 45 minutes past our appointment time while others walked right past us and their work wasnt great. The final straw was when Anna got involved when we came in for a repair and she didnt do the nails to begin with. If you are one of their chosen customers congrats, if not...you better shop around

Shantal Drysdale I paid $70 for a pedicure only to have the polish rub right off of my toes 40 minutes after letting them dry before putting my shoe on my feet. Its very disappointing and a waste of money. The pedicure was rushed and you couldnt even tell that I got a pedicure the next day. My heels are still rough and they didnt even try to help the calluses. I paid for the highest package to be able to get these types of issues taken care of. I am highly disappointed.

Jessica Paul The lady at the front of an extremely rude and doesn’t know how to schedule appointments. I called and schedule an appointment for 1:30. I showed up right on time and asked how long because there were a ton of people and a guest at every chair. She said 40 min. Even though I have an appointment? She said everyone has an appointment. I said that it was unacceptable that she should have called me and I would have come in at a later time and she said it wasn’t her fault they are so busy.

Emma Collier They are amazing. Was a walk in with my 5yr old niece and they got us seated immediately. Everyone was so patient and kind to her and let her sit in a chair next to me while I got like done. Even offered her some candy too!! Five stars!!!!

Natasha Drain I will never go there again it was only one person. At first when it was just me and her she was taking her time then people started to come in she rushed my nail as soon as I left my paint chipped off it wasn’t fully dry she didn’t file my end I don’t recommend I paid 86 dollars just a waste I got them done Friday 01/31/2025

Allison Pratt These are the worst nails anyone has ever done on me.These look nothing like i wanted, it looks like she didn’t even try and she rushed through them. They are sloppy and bulky, she also cut my fingers multiple times. Definitely not worth $60!!

Valerie Sanderson I went here because my nail place was on holiday. I got the Gel pedicure & dip on my real nails. The dip flaked off & was chipping off in chunks after 1 week. My real nails ended up breaking off because the dip was flaking away. My gel polish came completely off one of my toe nails after 1 week. Not to mention the price was double what I usually pay.

Gina Garner Very clean, great service. Ive been to a few other nail salons in the Paducah area that are messy, lots of junk everywhere. This place is well organized and neat. Avi gave me a great pedicure, my feet feel amazing! I will definitely be back.

Madison McCuiston I went to Excel for the first time today and it is definitely going to be my go to nail salon. The space was clean and organized and the people were extremely friendly. They make sure you are happy with your nails and they do beautiful work! Overall a really great experience.

Katelyn McKenzie Easily my new favorite nail salon in Paducah! I drove by here a few times and saw it recently opened, and decided to give it a try for a pedicure. The shop is INCREDIBLY clean. I’m always nervous to try a new shop for a pedicure due to cleanliness risk, but I had zero concerns here. They use liners in the tub, individually sealed & cleaned tools, new sponges for callus treatment, etc. It’s also the most organized shop I’ve been in - polish was put up nicely and it made it easy to pick a color. The women working were incredibly sweet and very kind. They did a great job with the pedicure. Pricing was very affordable. I got their 3rd highest level of pedicure for $52 (not including tip); compared to other shops in town I’ve been to, this is actually a bit cheaper than comparable pedis. And I felt like the service itself was just a lot better here. They didn’t rush or leave my sitting unattended forever. I’ll definitely be coming back.

tylee henry I absolutely love this nail shop ! Very good quality and they really want to get to know their customers. I got a new acrylic set and have never been happier with how they came out. I want them to get more recognition and the prices are very reasonable ! The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming ! It is very clean and organized as well ! I can’t wait to go back and I can’t wait for them to grow as a business!!!

stacey brooks If you’re u want to have your nails done and laugh and joke and have a pleasant experience while your there then ask for Andy! He is definitely the one you want. I’ve been there before and literally have no interaction with the tech and watch Andys interactions with his clients and they are laughing and having fun. He is great especially with children. So I decided the past visits to ask for Andy and he didn’t disappoint! I won’t be going to anyone else. My nails are beautiful and strong. He definitely tells you like it is. He doesn’t hold back on anything lol I give him 5 stars for sure!

Megan Boyd If I could give zero stars, I would first off let me say that my friend told me that this was a good nail place. I traveled about 45 minutes just to come here to get my nails done to be disappointed. I paid $50 for a full set for my daughter and then I paid $47 for a color change on my own nails. Never have I ever paid $47 for a color change whether my nails were long or not and my nails aren’t really even long they’re medium length. In some spot, you could still see the nail he didn’t cure the nail properly so I have lumps in my nails and my daughters are the same way. Do not recommend going to this nail spot even after showing the guy my problems he told me that it was still the price I shouldn’t have paid, but I did anyway. HOT MESS Update: I went back in asking about the price and on the pamphlet listing the prices it says nail polish change $15 it didn’t say gel specifically so I questioned why I was charged so much and the guy asked me to write down my information so that the manager could call me the next morning. It’s the next day so I called at 2:12 asking for the manager and the gentleman on the phone said he could only take my information. At this point I think they’re playing. Mind you they never gave me a detailed receipt.

Alyssa powell I use to go here a long time ago and they always did okay. Today, they were rude and unfriendly. They couldn’t even do a French tip. Everything was sloppy. They cured fur that got onto my nail. And because I kept saying I didn’t like it I was asked. “Where do you usually go?” I answered cherry nails. He replies, well you should have stayed there! I told them I would leave and pay for what they done which was absolutely nothing but clear nails and made me pay 63 dollars. I will never go back! I went to cherry nails and they done exactly what I asked for within 20 mins and only charged me 45. I have never left a bad review in my life, but this experience was horrible and unacceptable!!

Sarah Crabtree I come here often. Mostly because everywhere in Paducah doesn’t seem to do a good job, but at least these guys can always get me in. But I will most definitely not be coming back. I went in for a fill and polish change and I have never been more unhappy with my nails in my life. First of all, the guy who did my service used the most AGGRESSIVE bit on an e-file I have ever seen. I have been getting my nails done for 12+ years and let me tell you there is NO need for that aggressive of a bit for an e-file. He cut/burned me with it 7+ times. Honestly I had to stop counting or I was going to flip my top. Never in my life have I wanted to walk out in the middle of a service, but today I almost did. After it was all said and done I have misshapen “square” nails with polish and acrylic all over my fingers and the saddest excuse for a “matte” top coat I have ever seen. Spare yourselves and don’t bother coming here. Like I said, I’ve come here often. And no, I don’t know all of the KY rules/laws for nails places. However, I do know this places reuses all of their nail files (not the metal cleanable ones) one client right after another. I have watched them do it time after time. Drop files, brushes, utensils ect on the floor and just pick them up and keep on going like nothing ever happened. No sanitation or anything. Obviously this lack of regard bothered me, but didn’t stop me from coming back because my nails always turned out okay-ish. But certainly after today I will not be coming back.

Deandra Warner This is what my nails looked like a day after I got them done. The nail tech was very rough with my hands and even after I told him he was hurting my fingers, he was still rough with them. Then at the end, he asked if me or my boyfriend was paying and he charged 90 dollars for crappy nails when a full set is 50 and 10 for the extra length. I called them to have them fix it. They told me to come in “a little bit” so I waited 3 hours and went in. They refused me and I’m still trying to get them fixed four days later.

Tracie Young They don’t tell you about up charges and on the gel polish or on anything for that matter. Then charged me $70 for my mom’s pedicure, and charged me $100 for my nail which are not even close to what I asked for first picture is what I asked for and second picture is what I got. Then with the drill the guy sliced into my cuticles really bad to where when he put the acrylic on my nail my fingers were burning!!!!

Amy Adams Wonderful job on my manicure. I would love to see a more welcoming environment. It was my first visit, and maybe it is a difference in culture, but it felt abrupt. Although I could see by the interaction of the customer next to me that they can be quite friendly (obviously a regular customer) as they were discussing their children, showing photos, etc. I have zero complaints about the work done, but would have enjoyed a bit more interaction. They PREFER cash so just a heads up on that. Overall for the service & final product, it was a good visit.
