Jessica Bates Absolutely love my nails! Great experience. Staff was friendly and tentative. This was my first time getting a jelly effect nail color and getting TAP nails instead of dip or acrylic and I love both! My nails are much lighter in weight and a lot less bulky/thick than when I get dip, which is a really nice change.

I feel very elegant and chic in these nails. The salon was clean and the front desk was very helpful. I also received a student discount for showing my university ID. Claudia Andrade $80–100 I always use to come here and they were super great! BUT.. my last visit wasnt. She was using so much product for little almond shape. Probably time to find a new one, got french with chrome for $90 . Had to keep telling the lady my nail was thicker or the French didnt match the other fingers. She kept asking how it looked but I had to keep pointing out that they did not look symmetrical. After that I just got tired of pointing it out. I got the pastel color with multiple colors and designs of flowers with shape for 120$ I can not remember his name but he did so great! I would have gotten something more instead of basic, for the price. But not with the nail tech

Ashley Garcia Stopped in while looking for an eyebrow wax and was pleasantly surprised—there was no wait! The service was quick, and I absolutely love the shape of my brows. You really can’t beat $12 for such a great job. I’ll definitely be back!

Roxana Vallejo I went in for a full set and a pedicure. I had a photo of what I wanted. Unfortunately, my nails came out looking nothing like the photo. There was an overwhelming amount of residue left around and underneath my nails. The nail glue was excessive and left my skin attached to my nails. The male who did my pedicure lacked in the whole pedicure experience. I expected more for the $65 I paid. I didnt get my nails polished and simply asked for a good clean-up of dead skin. He did the bare minimum on my feet. My cuticles were barely touched, and the dead skin remains. My legs were left sticky from the honey that was used and completely slimmy from the surplus of lotion that was applied on my legs and feet.

yvonne gelistic Go and Sam for the win again!!! They tag team mani/pedi to get me in and out with amazing results everytime. I didn’t even know what all I wanted. I tried to explain it to Sam and ended up having her do what she wanted. The hey came out better than I was hoping for. Sam always handles my ingrown nails like a champ and even gives me a fake toe nail allowing me the freedom to wear sandals again. 10/10 recommend this place!!!!

Alyssa Manning First time here at this location and wanted to get valentine themed nails. Steven did a fantastic job with my nails. The nail studio is beautiful and the staff are so sweet and welcoming. I love my nails and I can’t wait to come back!

Tony Dominguez Had only gotten one pedi at another salon and never done a mani, I’d have to say this was a refreshing experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and my hands and feet feel incredible now. Prices were reasonable and everyone is incredibly warm and nice. Wendy and Julianne helped my girlfriend and myself and they were superb. Lexi at the front is a charm and is incredibly helpful. This place is highly recommended.

Pamela Dawn Adams First time here and I Absolutely LOVE this salon! The staff are so kind, knowledgeable, friendly, & accommodating! I have very thin nails (vitamin deficiency) and the filing is ALWAYS a huge concern for me! I researched so many places before choosing Nail Haven & Spa, which is why I not only chose this salon but why I also wanted to leave this review and I hope it will help others that may have had my issues! My amazing experience began with Lexi, and I have to say, what a great addition to the team she is! We discussed my concerns over the phone before I ever made my appointment. She was knowledgeable and friendly and didn’t rush me! She was focused on our conversation, I deeply appreciated that! She explained my concerns to the technician when I arrived, while Steven brought me a beverage, and made sure I was doing ok! Thank you, Lexi! Brian, a 10 year technician, is the one who did my nails/manicure, and we discussed my concerns as well as my desires for my Christmas nails. I told him that I type a lot in my job, so I couldn’t have my nails too long. I then showed him multiple pictures and told him I wanted a blend of 3 of them. WOW, he did a terrific job!!! He filed as little as possible, was gentle throughout the entire process (I have arthritis in my hands and fingers). Brian explained that he “loves to make people pretty, stated it’s what makes him happy”! I love that and it was obvious in our conversation and the attention to detail in his work! Thank you, Brian! Steven did my pedicure and it was wonderfully relaxing! He said, “it’s supposed to feel good, you just relax and enjoy it”! I explained that due to a car accident I am no longer able to get to my toes to do this myself, and that I truly appreciated him helping me. He was so kind and didn’t rush! I had to wait just a little while, as they were busy. I didn’t mind. They all kept checking on me to make certain I was alright and they just keep apologizing. Lexi brought me another beverage; It was just what I needed!! Thank you, Steven! This was a process for me to choose the “Right Salon” and it’s very obvious that I did! I will be back, as this is my new “nail salon” home! I’ve already booked my next appointment! Thank each of you who helped me today!

Rocio Sanchez Was looking for a new place after a nail salon down the road treated me horribly and so glad I found this place! They took me in the same-day I called, within an hour. The ladies were so kind and helpful, very approachable when I asked to see their selection of natural colors. I’m quite picky as I like natural looking nails and sometimes it’s hard to achieve that at nail salons but I loved the results!!! So happy with my service. I will definitely be returning!

Carolyn Byers After a few experiences recently, where no available nail technicians in salons do intricate nail designs anymore, I went on the hunt. After much diving into other reviews, I found this nail salon and Bryan was highly recommended. I went in with an inspo pic and Lexi, the receptionist, and team members were all very welcoming and excited to help me with my manicure and pedicure goals. Emily did my husband’s mani/pedicure- amazing massage and detail to his manly feet and hands. Wendy did my pedicure and of course, Brian, did my nail design. It’s a relaxed and quaint salon but has an elevated atmosphere for personable experience. It’s best to book and though it’s an often over-sighted salon it still prides itself in customer experience, outstanding pedicures, and on-trend technicians all without breaking the bank. UPDATE This set of nails lasted for three weeks strong and without popping off or lifting y’all! I put together several rocking chairs and other outdoor equipment to include cleaning out my garage on week two of having this set! Amazing strength and so needed as I like having my nails done but still work hard with my hands. The new set is the added photo- animal print design

Shayla Sale I had an amazing experience at Nail Haven and Spa! They were able to accommodate my family of four on a busy day. We didn’t have to wait long at all. From the start, the service was exceptional. Lexi was fantastic offering is complementary drinks and helping my daughter’s choose their nail colors. The technicians are wonderful and beyond our expectations. I also love the wide selection of pedicures available. I will definitely be returning and thrilled to have found our new home salon!

Catherine May I am a repeat customer of Halyna!!! She is so sweet, very attentive and has always done my nails with much care and exactly how I want them!!!! She introduced me to tap gel and I will never go back to acrylic! She also does the most amazing pedicure! I will not go to anyone else. She is stuck with me!!!! The customer service at Alamo Nails lounge is top tier!!!!!! Highly recommended!!

Natalie It was my first time coming here, and honestly, it was an amazing experience. The staff was very sweet and attentive, and really took in consideration on what I wanted to do And what Design I wanted to do On my toes, I will definitely be coming back here for my manicure next time. Seriously, one of the best massages I’ve ever had in a pedicure as well. This place in overall I gave it five stars and I can’t wait to come back next week for a full set.

Amelia Rosenthal The one who did my nails was a young man who I didn’t get his name. He was tipped based on his labor not his customer service. I’ve been here a handful times. I went in and showed the reference and asked to add glow in the dark as I’ve done it prior. He immediately said “we don’t do glow in the dark.” And when I stated I’ve been here before, and y’all did. Do you not do that anymore? He simply stated at me and said “let me ask.” Which he never really did or even let me know it was a yes. Instead he led me to the nail polish colors and told me to pick colors. The customer service was decent from the start, very friendly and they offered drinks etc. half way of doing my nails he yelled when I almost put my hand outside of the black light, which I understand. He was worried. But still, do not yell at your customers at all. Patience was another skill lacking. His demeanor was real rude and risky, when painting the spiders and he kept saying “don’t move,” while stopping and it was more than 5 times. My hand was not moving and then he proceeded to say “give me five minutes…” as somebody who does daily calisthenics and exercises including hand exercises, and military family, I’m pretty aware of my surroundings including others behaviors and my own included. I didn’t appreciate the lack of ownership, the lack of patience or the rushing . When I paid, I walked outside and within two minutes he was running outside to a vehicle with a backpack, leaving. I understand maybe he wanted to leave but that’s his job. Why did you accept the client to begin with? I only tipped 18 percent because of the amount of labor. Not his customer service. Practice patience and be more aware of your approaches when it comes to clients. It was rude.

Rosalinda Martinez Never really had a bad experience here until today when I’m guessing one of the nail tech where having a bad day and was very rude rough and did not know what she was doing first she started off by filling my nails with clear fill instead of pink and then she kept cutting me and refused to stop after I asked her to be careful and on top of everything she started to just paint my nails one color instead of the French tip I asked for because she didn’t want to fix the mistake. Not to mention yelling and screaming like a child’s because I was not happy with what she had done and had to force her to stop doing my nails because she was hurting me. I will not be going back that’s for sure I would advise to stay away for sure. They are slowly but surely getting worse in all services.

Yaminy Medina I came here for the first time, and sadly, will not be returning. The deluxe pedicure was good but not great. I got a new set which started out good but as soon as I said I didn’t like the base color he was going to use, he turned hostile and remained hostile until the end. They do charge extra for everything on the nails, shape, size, design, etc. Overall, I didn’t love my nails and I do not return anywhere where I am made to feel uncomfortable. I should also mention that during my visit there was another customer who was unhappy with her nails, and two of the employees were arguing with her refusing to listen to her concerns regarding the poor polish job. Instead, they told her it was because her toes were crooked or something about her toes.

Perla Salazar One my co-workers recommend this place to get nails done. These my 4 months going to Lynn and she is amazing. She pays attention to detail, takes time to perfectly file nails and color in. I have tired both Shellac and Dip and my nails are stronger then ever. One of the times my nail broke half way and Ms. Lynn was able salvage my nail rather then cutting it off. It grew out perfectly the next month. Everyone in the salon is welcoming and take their time in whatever service is asked for. This will be my go to spot moving forward. I live closer to Pleasanton and willing to drive the distance for Lynn.

Lynn was incredibly patient as I took my time deciding on the design. I even switched it up last minute, and she accommodated my request without hesitation, which I really appreciated. The ambiance and energy of the salon were fantastic—it felt welcoming and vibrant. Overall, I left feeling pampered and thrilled with my nails. I cant wait to go back! Kirsten Cevallos Hands-down, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a nail salon!!! I am a mama for and never have time to do anything with my kids. I was so skeptical about going with all the kids because I mean it’s a nail salon a professional shop who wants kids there but it’s my daughter‘s birthday and she really wanted acrylic nails for the first time so I choose to face the ugly looks but that was definitely not the case here from the moment that I walked in with the car seat and my three other kids, they were so attentive and helping and definitely doing everything to make me as comfortable as possible along with helping care for my kids . Making the baby laugh . Customer service definitely top tier!! So thank you so much Glo salon for helping this mama accomplish her daughter’s birthday dream and also make this mama feel beautiful again!! Oh well, definitely make me me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Definitely 10 out of 10 recommend my daughter got her dream nails. Definitely exceeded expectations!!!

Dora Lopez We stopped on a Sunday an hour before closing with my mom, daughter and me. We wanted a pedicure and nails. Mirna, Harry and the owner are super sweet and nice people.They took their time to complete our nails and pedicures. They did not rush although we were there after closing time. Harry made us delicious drinks. The ambiance was nice, good music as well. I definitely recommend this place. We are definitely going back. Thank you guys for such a wonderful service.

Mad Fits Amazing staff, all very kind and pay lots of attention to care, lovely establishment nice and clean. As for nails acrylic service is great my nails look fantastic, the acrylic itself is not thick and very smooth, the paint job is a 10 out of 10 nothing negative I can really say! I will definitely be coming back.

Beatrice C I’m giving this salon 1 star. Got there at 10 am , signs said OPEN, but they weren’t. We left to find another salon, then noticed someone walked in. We turned around and went back in. My elderly mother needed a simple pedicure, which was fine. I needed to get some business taken care of so I politely asked if they could give me the password. They said no. And she was rude with her answer. I hope they realize one day that…kindness goes a long way! I won’t be returning to this unfriendly establishment anytime soon.

Jasmine 4th visit here. Their work is good and theres always some deal going on. A little expensive, if you get your nails done often. Still going to make it a go to salon.

Jazmin Olivarez I was a little upset at first only because my nail artist did not listen when I requested I wanted white acrylic, he used nude pink and then white shellac but they turned out great. And the receptionist was super nice. They have great prices and even gave me a free lotion. Definitely will return

I didn’t wait at all , maybe I was just lucky but they were ready to get me situated as soon as I walked in. Both ladies who helped me were super nice. Great first time experience !

Inked Muneca Ive been twice and have gotten both sets from Reyna. Its always a pleasure! Its an inviting atmosphere, they are always laughing and talking with customers. Seems they have many regulars during the time I was there, and they remembered their names and color choices that were sweet to see. Will definitely be going back!!

M W I have been going to this location for over 2-3years. Never had an issue till this time around—turnover rate must have an effect. The individual who did my nails was Henry (manager). Though he was polite during the session, he was annoyed and clearly distracted by the phone. At the end, I was dissatisfied with the results. My nails appeared at a 45 degree angle…they looked cheap and amateurish. after coworkers advised that I go back, I did so next day. I explained to him how my actual nail was not glued onto the acrylic-it was lifted and how the 45 degree appearance was unacceptable—they needed to be fixed. As I was respectfully explaining this to him, he began laughing stating that he was the manager and there was nothing wrong with my nails. So, I then turned to the customer beside me—she too agreed. At that point he had zero interest in speaking to me. I asked AGAIN for them to be fixed since he was refusing a refund. As I sat there taking photos of my nails, he finally decided to remove them. He then had another nail tech do it after I told him “you’re laughing and refusing to give me a refund. You don’t see the issue still-my nails are LIFTED and detached from the acrylic—--this…scares me. The google/fb reviews were true” Luckily, another male took over and I honestly to god felt bad bc it wasn’t his fault. Though the second tech was constantly grunting and stomping his foot with disappointment, ALL could’ve been prevented if Henry could’ve given 100% the first time around. The last pic was from the final visit. Please avoid this place. It’s not worth it.

Sophia Piatt New to living in the south side and in need for a manicurist closer to me. A friend recommended City Base Nails. I was shocked how good my first set came out, and now this one too! Shiiiii this my nail salon now! Give em try! Henry did both my sets, and shapes them perfectly. Thank you for the clean set!

Gabrielle Vasquez So the last time I was here was a few months ago. I went to get a full set & pedi for my baby shower so I was super pregnant about 8 months. WELL first off I asked for shorter nails since I’m going to be having a newborn soon well to me the nails were still too long so I asked for shorter & the tech says that they’ll get even shorter after she shapes & files them down OKAY, so why did I get charged for LONG? It says it right on the receipt but I asked for short? Make it make sense. Then the absolute worst part was my pedicure, the tech says I have an ingrown & asks if she can cut it & I said I mean I guess? I had never experienced any pain before or noticed anything. Well now months later every time my nail grows out it hurts soooooo bad whatever she did caused me to actually get an ingrown now everytime my nail grows out I have to cut my toe nails extremely short bc of the pain & I had never felt pain or discomfort before this pedicure but now I don’t even wanna get a pedicure anymore bc I can’t grow my nails out anymore! So thank you city base nails for screwing up my toe nail & overcharging me for something I didn’t ask for!

Samantha My sister and I tried to go today for a refill we walked in at 2:30pm and was in the process of checking in. There were about 5 ladies in line ahead. The female at the first table stated before we could even check in that they would not be able to do the nails due to the fact that they close at 5pm and there was a line. Reminder that we walked in at 2:30pm. I think it was highly rude in the tone that she used and the fact that she turned away customers. I don’t recommend unless you like poor customer service and attitude.

Diana Apolinar What an amazing experience!! I am picky when it comes to my nails which, I dont do often. They did an AMAZING job!! Alex was great and professional! I love the attention to detail. Everyone had a smile and was polite! The ambiance and music is inviting and gives good vibes. The salon is very clean! The owners are present. They even stopped to ask if I was happy with everything. The free drink is a plus! I got a full set and waxing. I am a happy, satisfied customer!

Brianna Garcia Beautiful nails! Amber did an amazing job! Tony did a great welcoming service! 10/10 recommend Edit: I went back a second time and my nails lasted less than a week. It truly depends which nail tech you get. Amber did a great job but my second set done by someone else had my nails lifting after a week and one broke off. For the amount you’re paying they should definitely last longer than a week. I’m also guessing most positive reviews on here are from the staff forcing you to leave one before leaving.

Miranda M I found this nail salon out of sheer luck being in the area. I went here specifically because I saw the reviews about how great Tommy was, and he did not disappoint! Best acrylic full set I have ever gotten! He really took his time on the shape and every detail. The narrow square shape he did on me came out absolutely perfect. I had a great experience here and also got offered me wine which was great. Will definitely be back again! (Pictures barley do justice on how good they looked)

Kylie Martinez The service was great! They were VERY precise In my French tip design they even added gold flakes in the white French tip and matched my toes and added the same(the fact that they were able to include this amazes me).They secured the main gem multiple times ensuring it would stay on. It took about an 1hr and a half mainly because I got acrylic on both mani and pedicures even though they stayed late they made sure to have the French tips as even and precise as they could and believe me they rock! All in all they were amazing 10/10 recommend I would definitely come again.

I told him what exactly I wanted and he did not disappoint!! His attention to detail is amazing and also offered me complimentary wine. As for my pedicure, I’m also very happy with the result!!
