I was surprised that this store had some things that my bigger city dollar general didnt have. Wonderful store and town! I travel quite frequently, Ill be back soon!

Tyler Gray Sells out of liked items and never gets it back in stock which is sometimes saddening. Also for the most part has just 1 register open, turn over rate is so bad you almost never see the same two faces. Store needs an update, and possible remodeling.

lj gillam Dec. 23 at 2:36 in the afternoon, the Saturday before Christmas.. one employee and no manager. Another employee entered the store and opened another register finally. Merchandise was in the aisle floors making it impossible to push a cart down. The lady, Denise is always very nice and accommodating. Maybe she should be the manager, since she does most of the work anyway.

Debbie Faris I do a lot of buying at the local store. Less walking and usually quick. I dont want to cause havoc but i do have a complaint or ecplanation.when I arrived, there were items outside and I wanted to purchase the moss-filled hanging baskets. I leaned inside the door and asked the percentage off....she didnt know.... but I knew i still wanted them...... they were on sale. Anyway, decided to check out these items and guess what.....she told me the SALE was already off. I just walked in from outside and a sign said 1/2 price. I am rather upset but held my tongue trying to figure this out! $ She offered no apology and was frankly rude. I ran a lot of cash through that place but guess what....NO MORE!!

Meli Crazy I wish I could give zero stars.Me and my mom went.the lady didnt do good job on me.it burned, sting,and she left glue on my cutiel and she didnt even push them back.my moms nails were done by a guy which he didnt even do right like at all.her nail were not polished all the way.her nails like broken and they hurt her.This is her 5th time getting her nails done.even my nails hurt cause of how much she pulled me. My mom and my nails didnt even get the nails filled in all the way.I dont want this experience ever again.never go.

gloria reyes If been to several nail salons, Vernon, Lawton and Altus and I love the way this guy does my nails. Yes he is a little rude but dang does he do a good job! He remembers me and what I like and he just does them and I leave. He says come back 2-3 weeks. I’m going today! Love this place’

Char Ybarra Y’all please don’t go here. The guy who did my nails was extremely rude. Didn’t even talk to me, was yanking my hand super aggressive every time I was pulling my hand away because he was using the filing gun too hard and kept hitting the skin which caused the sides of my fingers to burn. He then slathered on the shellac and brushed me away after I was done. Just sooo rude. Also don’t ever call because they won’t answer the phone. They probably had 15 phone calls the whole time I was there and just ignored it the whole time.

K. Renee Collingwood Very efficient family run salon. They do my nails every 2 weeks. They remember what I like and always do a good job. Hard working dedicated business owners. This is not just a job for them, its their life. Both their daughters help out when needed too. Ive been to many different salons in a pinch, but I always come back here when I can.

Destiny Morris Told her multiple times that she cut me and I’m bleeding... she continued like she didn’t care. I asked if they have alcohol wipes or something she grabbed a paper towel, dabbed it, then went on to wipe the rest of my fingers with the same paper towel. And on top of that didn’t even apologize for cutting me. Definitely don’t recommend going here if you want friendly and sanitary service!

They are so accommodating and their service is above par always. Shout out to my nail tech Andrea, she is amazing and Ann the owner is friendly and makes you feel at home. Michael Coulter I had an issue with the tire stem on my trailer while passing through on 287. I put the spare on and headed into town to have the tire repaired. It was 12:45 and the guys were out on lunch so I walked my dogs around until 1pm. At 1pm they showed up and fixed my tire stem in 5 minutes. The owner even came by while I was swapping the spare off and putting the repaired tire back on and gave me a hand. Everyone was nice and had me back on the road in no time. Great spot and great folks!

Erin Crabtree My family and I were traveling through with 5 hrs left in our trip and ended up having a bubble in our tire. They found us a used tire, it was affordable and got us back on the road in no time. Thank you Stearns Tire!!

Courtney The nail tech was rude and I’m not happy with my acrylics. If I can give you a word of advice, go to Krystal Nails. That’s whether I normally go but they were closed and it was my only day I had to get my nails refilled. She talked me into a new set and I will definitely be going to my regular nail tech to get them fixed ASAP. Stick with what you know people. Pedicurist was kind and did a great job so I have to give props there.

Francisca Hinojosa I met my mom to get pedicure and have girls day thinking this would be great. Nope! The main lady that was giving us a pedicure was to focus on who was coming in instead of our pedicures. She rushed our pedicures and did not eve clean cuticles, or the bottom of our heal of our feet. We paid basically to get get our feer soaked and painted. Yhen a lady name pat came in which she rushed to do hers instead. This why our pedicures were rushed and done poorly. I would not recommend this place or the lady. If you do request the younger lady or men to do it. Do not waste your money ladies! If you are going to get poor result on the one day you treat yourself request for someone else to finish the service or leave. Why pay someone for half thr service.

Lady Bear580 First time here. I got the Hot Lava Pedi with the hotwax. Loved it. Well worth it. I was in that chair being pampered like a queen well over an hour. Great service. Friendly atmosphere.

Toni Brigman They are wonderful! For the little people they have a special chair that lets them enjoy the pampering as well! I took my granddaughter out for pampering so that she would have beautiful nails for her birthday party on the weekend.

Molly M Raiden My favorite nail shop in Altus. They do a good job for me. My only concern was they text me 10% off my service and when I attempted to use it Tony acted like it wasnt valid. He took a picture of it and didnt give me the full 10% off my total. It came from their number but it was concerning how he went about it. Anyway...I will return and use their services again and again because they really do a good job.

Annette Balsinde Had to stay here 3 days due to wind problems driving an RV. Parking was nice and big for my rig and the service was fantastic! Room was clean and although a little outdated, everything worked. Room was big and very comfortable. They have fridge and microwave and cool AC! The TV was awesome because it wasn’t the real small ones you usually see in hotels. It was big and the channels were endless! I didn’t even know what to watch cause they have so many channels with super good choices. Service was superb! Super friendly gentleman in front desk and he was super accommodating. Price was also very very good! I would highly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for comfort and cleanliness over aesthetics. Fantastic stay! Thank you!! Annette

Jericca Greening Do not stay here. My sheets were dirty, we were itching the whole night, parts of the tub was broken. Whoever did the beds, didn’t even do them correctly just tucked in like a kid did it. Coffee filter had mold, I went a cross the street to get coffee, the entire room was disgusting. I sprayed my can of Lysol but idk if that helped. If you absolutely NEED somewhere to stay then stay here. If you can do better please do.

Susan Trammell Small roaches everywhere outside and some dead or close to it inside room. We cleaned them and threw them in toilet. This room has potential but its a shame the owner doesnt take more pride in the motel. We had to stay. No choice for all other places in surrounding towns were full. Sadly we will not be staying here again.

Chris 8 chargers, and at least four are working bc four cars are plugged in:) Sonic has bathrooms to use (when open), and I love getting a 1/2 price drink with the app. I also enjoy the short 4min walk to Loves, which is a nice leg stretch and makes the time pass more quickly.

Splash Wave Beats As a truck driver, I like doing my 30 minute breaks at this location. The parking lot is spacious, plenty of room to back in a spot, and its never too congested. They do have Subway and Godfathers pizza at this location. The only negative is I like my fruitcups and many times I have come here and theyre not on the shelf.

Alex Ciaraglia Clean stop spot with plenty of bathrooms and showers. They have your typical foods and also healthy options like nuts, fruit and cold sandwiches. Subway, Chesters Chicken and Godfathers pizza attached. Staff was warm and welcoming!

K S Nice and clean plenty of food choices. The problem is the customer service I acknowledged the employee at the register no response but had no problem telling her co worker to grab her some cookies from subway.

Jessica Chavez First and for most I want to thank the staff they are truly AMAZING! My kids and I got stuck here in Quanah when my car broke down. We were still 6 1/2 hrs away from home when the clutch to my car went completely out. So we stayed here for 2 nights. Micheal (I believe that was his name) checked us in he was very very helpful and accommodating with our situation. The next morning we went to front Desk again to let the new employees know our situation and talked with Tammy she was also really amazing and helpful. Anything we needed they were there to help! *Second: The room was really big with 2 queen sized beds the room was clean and had everything we needed the only problem we had was the fridge didnt work but every else was nice!. It did have a funny smell at first when the heater kicked on but wasnt to bad nd did go away eventually (Or got use to it lol) The rooms and furniture are outdated does need new carpet and new paint but other then that the room was great and comfortable! Last: on the website for this hotel it does show a very nice hot tub. When my kids nd I went to go look at it. It was no longer there but other that this was a really nice place to stay. I want to thank all the staff for there help and support!

Sharon First of all, I arrived to check into my hotel room they cannot find my reservations that I made 6 1/2 months ago which was in January and I was checking in on July 5, 2024. I waited about an hour and 15 minutes they finally came up with a room And realized they had given mine to someone else and they were not checking at all. Someone posed as me and they checked the man. The manager did give me half off my two nights day to try to accommodate the situation which it did not because I was embarrassing in front of a lobby full of people looking at me like I was lying. This was Reunion. I was coming to two. Only hotels in town was booked solid so there was nowhere else to reside to the rooms are not so nice at all need to be updated really bad the whole place needs a makeover there was a room across from me 215 that they have been working on and the door was all busted up and I noticed the homeless man going in there with a duffel bag and food containers and he spent the night there is checking the floors. No one asked any questions. When I checked out. I asked the manager, which is the owner. Why was this guy staying in a vacant room that you guys was repairing? He had no knowledge of the situation supposedly said to me he would check into it. I said well I was told by one of the desk clerks, but it was the maids brother and he had nowhere to go so they’re letting him camp out there. I guess only when The Owner is not around I will not be staying here anytime soon till the hotel get up to standards and the place smelt really bad and there was so many nets everywhere in the hotel, I guess because it was so hot and people were bringing food inside the hotel not again. I can’t stay here under these conditions. You guys can go at your own risk.

Jonathan Nunez Came early in the day at 1am, and there was staff able to check us in without any reservation. The staff was nice and kind. The rooms were in decent shape, and the beds were comfortable. Overall the room was clean and smelled nice. The hallways appeared to be more worn however. The continental breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about. I could tell that care went into preparing the food which was appreciated. If youre ever traveling late, and need a place to stay, I recommend this spot.

E Mary (ME) Quiet and clean place to stay. Breakfast was regular continental. The juice machine was broken, so the staff had juice in insulated carafes. Preferred this to the juice machines anyway. Also had plenty of milk, toast and cereal. The eggs and sausage were delicious, even for our picky kids. Didn’t get to try the waffles, but hope to next time. Really great service. Bedrooms were very clean and tidy. You can tell this hotel is being taken care of and kept up well. The management really cares. Would stay here again for sure on our way through just to see the friendly staff again.

Weston Gregg 2 experiences, 1 review/rating On the way to Houston, and never any rooms available in Childress, we stopped here for a night. Room was affordable, and got the job done. Bed felt a bit sagging in the middle, so not a great nights sleep. Breakfast was pretty good for a one-nighter. Place was clean. All in all, a fair, not great, nights stay. When we headed back home, we had the addition of our late mothers dog with us. We tried to stay here again, but the night clerk tried to scam us. First, he wouldnt allow the dog, then he would allow her with a steep $50 deposit (an INSANE amount). We were ready to pay the price, but then he wanted the deposit in cash. What kind of scam is this guy running at night? Probably looking to line his own pockets and cheat the hotel!! Needless to say, we continued on down the road, and we hope with this review, others will pass on the scam as well.

Deborah Brownlow Can’t say enough good stuff about Pease River Supply. The store has a great selection of just about anything you could need. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly, they go above and beyond to take care of their customers. Justin Meeks delivered and unloaded a trailer of hay to my barn when I was sick and couldn’t get out. And, he’s doing the same again this year, not because of illness, but because the hay is in large bails and I haven’t a way to transport it. They definitely treat their customers right.

Jose Chajon Today, while driving through, I noticed a small air leak on my tire. The guys at the shop answered promptly and met me at their shop within 30 minutes. They provided outstanding customer service and were very fast. They diagnosed the problem and told me it was a cracked rim on my RV tire. They didnt try to fix something that was not broken and were very honest people. Definitely recommend if you are in need of tire services.

Joe Loeffler Very disappointed with this business. On a road trip to Colorado, I made an appointment with two hours advance notice. Then called again 15 minutes before arriving to confirm that they could get me in and out on a tire rotation. Wife said she will check with her husband and confirmed. 15 minutes later we show up and there’s a sign on the door saying that they left. Called four times and they refused to answer the phone, knowing that they let me down. Very unprofessional. Boo!
