Riley Churchill Absolutely AMAZING service here! I always see Rita, and she has outdone herself this time. If you are someone with a lot of splits of dead ends but you’re attached to length- SHE is the stylist for you! She did a balayage on my virgin hair and it came out amazing, and more healthy than when she started!

S G Told the lady I wanted color, and she said to pick out a photo while I waited for her to finish with a client. Then I sit down and show her, and she says, "Oh so you dont want a haircut?" Her coworker affirmed it was clear I was talking about color. It was kind of fine until she said, "Well I can definitely replace whos been doing your hair...." ... No, but you should find someone to do so to yours, but I wont explain why. Plus the way she talked to me was a "no" (unfriendly). Anyway, I left and I was positive leaving but honestly it was a really odd experience, very inappropriate and disrespectful. The coworkers looked at me with this look. Definitely wouldnt come here for anything.

Laura French Our first visit was wonderful. We brought our two grandsons(ages 3 & 5) in to get their VERY long hair cut to donate to #ChildrenWithHairLoss. Charlie did an amazing job with both of them, very gentle and patient! Nancy was also very sweet! She gave my granddaughter the most awesome gift, we will never forget that!!❤

Valerie Foster Sarah K. was my stylist and she really listened to me, worked with me to ensure we were on the same page, and gave me a great cut and a series of highlights and low lights that really look amazing. I joked with her that I didn’t mind looking like a grandma, but I didn’t want to look like my own grandma anymore lol. She was very engaging the whole time, great conversation, and took the time required to use techniques that help blend the highlights/low lights, instead of them being big and chunky. I live 6.5 hours from Corpus Christi, but we are already planning another trip at the end of summer to go back, when we do, I certainly will be scheduling another appointment with her. Also, it should be mentioned that everyone there was so friendly, I felt like I was amidst friends the whole time I was there, even Sailor was a perfect little lady.

Maria Cruz Honey always does a great job on my hair! She explains the cut if you have any questions and is super friendly. She was almost closing and did not rush on my haircut nor made me feel like it was an inconvenience for her. The prices are great too! Will def. be going back.

Candas Mowles Honey is a great professional hairstylist. Shes the only person I will let cut my familys hair and mine as well. Highly recommended.

Tonya Platt Was alright, I had hoped she would explain how to care for my hair after I explained it was my first time in a salon. But no such luck. I dont even know when Im supposed to return for a touch-up. So disappointed with the customer service I guess.

Doreice if I spelled her name right did my hair. She fixed a past desastered hair cut and perm someone else did some where else. She was able to do a MIRICALE on my hair. I mean my hair was in very bad shape when she made me look and feel amazing. Plus she took the time to show me how to do and style my own hair in every possible way I could witch was allot of ways with hair tools ,products, and ways to just real fast do my hair. She took time to help me understand my hair and how to upkeep it for the future. Im now a permanent client. I was recommended by 15 different people. I see why so many people go there. I highly recommend this place. Im extremely satisfied. Look no further this is the place for all your needs.

Melissa Bristow I had been feeling very frumpy, and after a particularly hard day (a physics test and hopeless online classes), I decided it was finally time to do something about the frumpiness. I havent lived in Corpus very long, so I searched online and read a LOT of reviews and looked at a lot of websites. But I really liked the story on the Tangles website and decided to call, Lulu said she could see me immediately. Lulu was so nice, making conversation even though Im an awkward person to chat with, and she did a wonderful job with almost no direction from me. After cutting and drying my hair, she asked me if I wanted it curled.... Ive never had curled hair before, and its so cute! I love my haircut, and had such a nice experience. I completely recommend.

Estela Esquivel I literally got a completely different cut than asked for, and it’s not even the right colors I asked for either, I spent $285 for nearly the worst haircut I’ve possibly ever had

Delia Bintliff Do not do Brazilian there ...mine was horrible ...also my color was all over my forehead..ears and sideburn area it took awhile to come off I was embarrassed to go to work ( i have pictures) .I called to speak to the owner for help and maybe she can fix my hair. I was placed on hold and the receptionist said she was busy with a client she will call me back...almost 2 weeks and no return call. My hair is frizzy..Im disappointed ..not good business. The place was also not very clean. They offered a glass of wine but did not have an opener to open the wine. I was there 5 hrs. And 20 min. And never got offered water..again not good business. Girls I dont recommend this place.

Philip Lackey Anna has been cutting my hair for about 4 years now. She always does a perfect cut. Shes willing to try new things for my hair. She works with my schedule and time. Shes friendly and professional. Shell always leave you with a great cut and styled to perfection. Highly recommended.

Heather Byington Ali is a wonderful person & highly skilled & talented hairstylist. I could not be happier w/the freedom to ask questions and communicate ideas back & forth to find my best style. The other hairstylist are super sweet and always helpful. The pricing is versatile and very fair. Normally I resist 5 ⭐️ ratings but this salon absolutely deserves it.

Casey I am literally so disappointed with this salon. I was recommended this place by a friend and put my trust in them to do my hair. My natural hair is already a level 7/8 dirty blonde and lifts white/ to a level 10. This salon did not leave the bleach on long enough in some areas AND toned me DOWN to attempt to HIDE the bleach bleeding in my hair. In the last picture, that is what I walked out with and PAID $285 for. I turned around and asked for it to be fixed the same day. Instead of detoxing the original toner out, they BLEACHED my hair over the toner from 30 minutes ago and proceeded to tone with the same 9N that created this brassy color. They are now REFUSING to give me a refund. If you are a blonde, DO NOT go here.

Kendall Messer Honestly, this was one of the best, if not the best, hair salon experiences Ive ever had. In the past, every salon Ive gone to styles my hair after the cut, but they dont explain how they did it so i can style it on the daily. Ali and her assistant did just that. Plus, they talked through every step with me and checked in with me the entire time. It was so refreshing and relaxing in a situation that i normally have a lot of anxiety about. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this salon to others

Hannah Reynolds I am going to give one star because the stylist lacked price transparency when she added “more services” because she lacked to inform me she wouldn’t be able to cut my hair with what I booked. My hair didn’t go past my breast bone, and she only cut two inches off. However, she charged me an extra $20 & made a 20 minute appointment over an hour. I have anxiety issues, so speaking up in super uncomfortable situations is horrible for me. And she made that appointment super uncomfortable with the price of $88. For a haircut. She made me get a hair wash (I wasn’t sure if y’all are allowed to just cut hair as it comes in?) I didn’t want a style and I told her that, but she did it anyways. I know the economy is bad, but $88 for a haircut IS INSANE. I’ve been coming here for a few years now & I have never experienced this before. The most I’ve ever paid is $70 with tip bc a different stylist was so nice. Be careful who you book with. AND HAVE YOUR STYLISTS DISCUSS PRICE POINTS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE APPOINTMENT!!!! UPDATE: I called about having the haircut the owner supposedly offered. Emilia answered. I said I’m calling about the offer Ali posted on my review! I have my engagement session & I would love to take her up on it. (And yes, I would’ve offered a tip in the form of however much the haircut would’ve been). Emilia asked what am I talking about. I told her I left the review above after my first bad experience at this place, and that I’ve been coming here since they opened. She said did you call us before posting the review? LIKE NO? Yall are confrontational it seems. So she took my number down. Ali called & left a voice mail. I called back literally 5 minutes later, no answer. And no call back. So yeah, done with this place. Shame because I really did like the mission, and have been coming since they originally opened. Be careful if you EVERRR have a bad experience here.

Andrew Gurley My daughter had a delightful time. Krystal greeted us warmly and kindly when we came in for our appointment. Mallory and Maddison showed so much patience as my daughter talked their ears off. And they were all very gentle with my daughter. I could tell they take pride in their work. They did a wonderful job trimming and curling her hair. I will definitely be coming back. I may even start having them cut my hair.

Erica McElroy Atelier Salon exceeds expectations by far! I’m naturally a dark brunette and having blonde highlights almost always seemed impossible until I walked into Atelier. I walked in 3 years ago needing color correction as my highlighted hair was brassy and complete opposite of what I was wanting. Ariel not only fixed my color but surpassed what I was wanting. I will forever be apart of atelier. The staff is so friendly and I feel what they have done to my hair is unmatched elsewhere!

This is my second time I’ve I’ve had my hair done by her and she does a great job every time I go back I finally found a hair stylist that does a good job on my hair. H Carrier Jay cuts my 7 year old’s hair and always does an amazing job! She is very patient and nice. She does a wonderful job on my daughter and makes her feel just as important as any other client in the salon. My daughter loves coming here. As for myself, I see Karen. Karen is wonderful! She knows her stuff. She does a fantastic job with cuts and coloring. Most salons will have me in a chair for 4 hours+ Karen will accomplish the same look for half the time. That’s called talent! Not only is she great at what she does, but she is so nice!!!!!

Minerva Metoyer Nadia is a very pleasant hair stylist. She was very patient with my request to work on my long hair and she went all out to have my hair ready for my granddaughters Quincera this coming Saturday. I was very fortunate when I took a chance without an appointment and she happened to come in on her day off to take care of another client and accepted me as a new client. Beautiful people with beautiful souls. You will not be disappointed if you decide to try them out.

Hannah Cerda I totally recommend this salon to anyone who want to have an amazing experience in a luxurious salon. It is very beautiful inside and out! It is also located on the South side of Corpus Christi! It is very easy to get in and out of this location! Plus the girls that work here are very sweet and are very welcoming!! Karen was so sweet and fit my sister and I at the same time very last minute!! It was really cool getting my hair done with her! Karen did an amazing job on my balayage and hair cut!! She is supper fast at doing hair. Her prices are affordable which is a good thing! I definitely will be coming back for future hair services!!

WeAreRevolution Youth Fantastic Salon! They are always so positive and do a great job with hair. True test came when my daughter got “bunch-ems” in her long hair. Rosa Nunez I had an exciting event on Saturday, January 25th We had 40+ gas coming to my daughter‘s baby shower, Stylist Brianna accepted my appointment at 11 o’clock Who then changed it To 12 o’clock (Shower started at one) She said “you’ll be there in plenty of time, It’ll only take me 30 minutes”12 o’clock came around no Brianna 1205, 12:15, 1220 no Brianna! I waited in my car when I received a text from her saying I’m ready for you. She had the audacity to tell me that she had been waiting for me there 10 minutes when I saw her walk in! She couldn’t even own up to it! I told her that this was very unprofessional of her , and this was a very important day to me and she said And I quote I wasn’t gonna kill myself to get here. I live in Rockport” I will NEVER Make an appointment there again nor will I recommend anyone to go there

Rae Silvas I came in recently when in town visiting family to get a straightening treatment but when I got there I was told they don’t do straightening treatments but instead something called a smoothing treatment. I went for it and I absolutely love it! Definitely coming back again ☺️

Mack Smith I took my girlfriend to get a hair straightening they offered two different kinds the one we got cost $350.00 (straighten and Brazilian blow-out)and we were told that it would last between 3-4 months. Well within two days her hair started to wave again. She called and asked about doing it again or a refund neither seemed to appeal to the shop. So needless to say we will not recommend or return to this shop.

Erik Santos So the level of unprofessionalism, started with the employee and the true colors of how it’s ran is the real issue. Wife just had a baby and wanted to surprise her with a gift card to get her self back. They sent me to a girl. I talked to her and showed her pics of my wife how she usually likes her hair and current hair. She said she could do it and they gladly took 200.00 dollars and booked two weeks out. My wife was very excited to finally have some personal time for her self to feel pretty again. The night before her appointment, she gets a cancellation. The artist said she wasn’t confident. Wife was pretty disappointed. I went in this morning to express the concerns to the owner. She said that it was a JR stylist and she trying talking to a tic toker for advice on platinum hair and didn’t feel confident. I told her why she was using tic tok for technical support and took two weeks to come to collusion she couldn’t do it. And women’s hair arnt trial and error. She had two weeks to communicate, and shouldn’t have taken money for a job she couldn’t do in first place. Then this lady tells me she wishes her husband was here because she shouldn’t have to explain to a man. I told her to call him so I’ll discuss with him if she’s not the boss. She said she’s not going to. So conclusion…. Don’t go there.

Adriana Figueroa Been here for over 15 years. Before Lisa my hair has been always thick and course-dry frizzy-but finding someone that knew how to cut and treat my hair was God sent. Lisa has always up front about about me getting a cut,color or style before I make a decision. She takes time with each client so you feel like its only you and never rushed. Never walked out feeling disappointed. My 14 year old daughter has only had Lisa cut and style her hair. We have had a number of services cut, style,extentions, braids,color,highlights,low lights..now with her additional services I get my lashes, teeth whiting and facials. Very convenient so your not going to four different places just one to relax and feel welcomed at.

Yvetth Gonzalez I am usually nervous when it comes to going into salons and talking to the hairdressers. I message Trista and she was super friendly and we set up an appointment immediately. The salon itself was beautiful and clean the staff is really nice and always had a smile on their face when greeting me. Throughout the services she showed me what was best to use on my hair and also how to style it. Trista understood what I wanted and this is the first time I actually got the look that I asked for. Overall this was the best experience I have had and I definitely will be going more often.

Edward Pettijohn I get my hair cut by Griselda which does a outstanding job. The wait is never very long. There is more stylists that works there but have only used Griselda. There is always plenty of parking and on Wednesdays they are offering $5 cuts.

Savannah Heyz Planet sol has always been my go to! I’ve been going here for years to see McKayla and she always gets my hair right. She’s very patient and good at explaining everything so there’s no confusion on the plan. She’s one of the sweetest and bubbliest people I’ve met and she truly is part of the experience, makes you feel like you’re best friends! I don’t get my hair done often but when I do it’s definitely something I look forward to, I recommend all my family and friends. And with the amount of compliments I get from strangers I’d say job well done!

My stylist spent a lot of time focusing on what I wanted, and she also sought another stylist for her opinion on my haircut. There is a strong sense of a tight knit family among the stylists, and they did a fantastic job on my haircut. If you’ve been disappointed with salons that have a lot of attitude and hype, but not putting your needs first, I strongly recommend that you give Planet Sol a try. I think you will love it.

Veronica Ramirez Loved my experience with Nail Tech Norma. The whole experience was a breeze. From scheduling to the moment my nails were complete. I received exceptional service from her. She was kind, careful and was very attentive to nails. The facility was clean and the environment was positive and calm. I loved the pop music it helped me relax while I was getting my services done. Amanda Beghtel If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter came to get a peek a boo coloring. Pictures were shown of colors she wanted (a rich brown and purple) and we got far from that. Even after calling and showing ray the photos of what he had done, he stated he was ok with how it turned out. Not only did I pay $230 for a disaster (ray was so kind to refund $75 ha) I had to go and pay a professional another $275 to fix the absolute mess. Thank god for Planet Sol for correcting what was so wrong. The first photos of the absolute mess is rays work and the photos of exactly what she wanted is Sea Jay’s at Planet Sol. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Ann Davis I havent received a haircut in 8 years (other than trims) and decided to chop off 20 inches while on my honeymoon. Best decision!! I LOVE my hair! Irene did an amazing job. I showed her a couple pictures from pinterest and she did better than I imagined. She was very professional and patient and let my husband take lots of pictures for me! :) highly recommended this place!
