Naturally Lovely I have been going to this salon to get my hair braided for over two years now, and they do a fantastic job every time. I receive so many compliments from others saying how beautiful and neat my braids are. Casey has done my hair twice and both times my hair has come out so beautiful, neat, and exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend them.

Judy Nzeki Glam Hair Salon has been my go to salon for the past 2 years. Benedict is very friendly, welcoming and professional. Every time I ask to be accommodated for an appointment she does everything possible to make it work. I love their braiding and the keenness they take to understand what each customer needs. Chase I would never book here again! I was recommended by someone to come, I booked online for a smedium braid style and the manager or owner called me to offer a new appointment for a different day. I told her needed my hair done that day because me being away for work. She then offered a crochet hairstyle instead of braids I explained I wouldn’t want that. She stated she didn’t have the time for the style I wanted,And proceeded to offer a different braid style. I advised her that my hair is growing out from a previous haircut and that my mother is normally the only braider I trust, but I will come in just to make sure she or whoever will be able to grab my hair. We disconnect the call in less than 5 mins time she called back asking how far I am away from her shop, I let her know my location and got to the shop in 3 mins ( my original booking time was for an hour in a half later from the phone call so I was super early) I go into the shop they the two stylist in the front spoke then asked if I was the one from the call I said yes. She asked me to remove my hat to see my hair, one stylist comes up and grab my hair and speaks back to her in “French” about my hair length, she responds in English that they can braid my hair in a few mins. I say okay, then she tells me they didn’t carry my hair color(the style I choose which online states $230 braiding hair is included) I told her I just bought braiding hair and it’s with me. So now it’s my turn to get my hair done again in French her and the other stylist discuss that I will be upcharged $30 extra for the length of my hair, I said ok. At some point it started to feel like me booking and being there was an inconvenience to them I was quiet and allowed them as “professionals” do their job. I saw on her site and suite door that hair services booked mon -wed gets 10% discount instead I was charged $30 plus, what was suppose to be a 4-6 hour style turned into 9.5hours with 3-4 braiders stepping in to help the original lady who began braiding my hair all of which did 2-4 braids and took breaks or left. My mom noticed that once she got to the back of my head she began making my parts bigger than it was in front and let them know it I wouldn’t be pleased, they again discussed in French about my mothers concern. I feel as though if you are charging someone $230 + $30 “plus tax” ( she charged me an extra $2 to send her the remaining balance to her Zelle) that you shouldn’t feel like you’re an inconvenience and talked about.
This salon has a 48 hour dissatisfaction policy where they don’t refund you but if you’re not happy they supposedly offer a happy medium to fix what’s wrong.
My style started at 1:40pm I left her salon at 10:50pm , I kindly reached out via text to the manager asking what could been done in exchange of my experience as her salon offered 10% off for mon-wed , at some point my own mother, myself had to step in and help the ladies finish braiding my ends so that it could speed up the process being that they all were so tired. I was completely ignored. Not even 48 hours later I lost a total of 3 braids. Now it’s been just under a week and my entire perimeter of braids have completely slipped out, and continue to just slip out by the day, The picture below are braids I lost just from last night to this morning.
Am highly disappointed and hurt in the way this was handled, I paid the money she wanted without any pushback , my mother bought food for the entire salon including their kids and another customer who was there. In return I was ignored and upcharged for a style that didn’t even last me a week . I would never ever trust another salon again.
