Marianna Azuara We have been going with Becca since my daughter was two years old. She is a professional braider her quality of work speaks for itself. Not only does she braid but provides classes on how to braid. She works around all type of hair she is great with children and does a fantastic job as well as her staff. Julieta braided her hair and did amazing in general THIS is the ONLY place to go in the RGV if you want quality perfection braids done or other services they offer.

I went today for the first time scared thinking things wouldn’t be all right and would probably have the outcome of a edgy and choppy hairstyle. Nope. Amplified my mullet with a top and side trims and a fade (on mullet too, to make it pop). She really took her time within her artistry as a barber in a sense of attention to detail to ensure every it’s and bits of hair is aligned to the mullet style I wanted. The result was the best for the first time in my life, she also complemented me multiple times for having healthy hair, mind you, previous stylists/barbers never have. And also suggested two good products to protect the quality. Will definitely come again!!! Thank you!!!

Gabriela Leon A bit pricey but very well worth it. I was serviced by Ricardo who performed an excellent job. He washed, styled and blow dried my hair without any hurtfull tugging or pulling. I love my new hairstyle. I will be coming back next time i need a trim.

She is excellent and very professional.

M Ram I called this place and was able to get a call back right away. I needed extensions removed and a hair cut. They were able to set up an appointment the next day. They were able to remove my extensions for a good price. I got the botox treatment done on my hair and I love it! It left my hair feeling so sleek and soft! No frizz. It took just one day to love this salon. Friendly environment that feels like home. They have so many other services that I am wanting to try. If youre looking for a beauty salon, I recommend this place. And thats because I hardly ever rate salons. Try it!

Percy Thomas Please run away. Do Not try their bead extension, they glue it to your hair, so when they take it off (which is every month to advance it up as your hair grows, you will lose a ton of your hair. Mine is half the volume of when I first applied their extension, none of the other salons glue the beads on, the owner is the one who does it and she does it so that people go to her for extensions because they are finally dependent on it because you lose sooo much hair. I used 50 grams which is not a lot and lost half my hair volume so you can imagine how much they damage the hair. They don’t tell you any of this and charges >$200 every visit. Do yourself a favor and run away from this one.

Marty Clem Went for highlights... She left the bleach in some areas too long and fried all my hair. Dont trust her with your hair. She tried blaming it on me first I was moving too much and now its because I had products in my hair. If she was truly a professional and my hair was unworkable then why did she even touch it. There is nothing that can be done to fix this mess and it has taken years to get to this length. All can do is cut off and cry. Do not go to her if you value your hair.

I’m in transition with gray and he has done a great job with my color and cut. Strayed once and will never do it again. Now my daughter comes to him as well as other referred friends.

Kristi Holden I booked and confirmed my appointment online super simple and easy. The moment I walked in I was greeted very professionally, and I felt very welcomed. A few minutes later I met my hairstylist Anjo! I explained to him, exactly the type of hairstyle that I want and the layers, and the length that I was looking for. ( I did stress to him My anxiety levels from prior haircut, salons that never gave me the style that I had asked for.) he listened to detail and I felt very comfortable. His hands are so smooth, and he flips your hair and cuts your hair like a professional. When I saw the end results. I was in shock by exactly what I pictured in my head. I was actually gonna walk out of the Salon, with my hairstyle ! He brought tears to my eyes, because I was overwhelmed With my haircut. I’m beyond happy and thank you so much for letting me walk out with an amazing haircut. It’s a great Salon and I highly recommend. And I will definitely be back. Oh, and the vibe. Barbara Escandon Do not support this company the owner charged $25 extra a total of $75 because the stylist asked if I wanted shorted and trimmed the back of my hair. I told her the receptionist was rude she said she saw it and she wasn’t. Then I said it’s because she told my kids not to get more snacks, then she said I know she wasn’t because it was me. So lied. Then I asked for a $25 refund because she cuts a family members hair for $50. She’s says she doesn’t need my $25 then I said I’d pick it up then she said she would review cameras and see if she would give it back. I can admit my small kids were being rowdy but I didn’t have child care they ate two snacks. She even made the comment that I should pay her $25 for taking care of my kids. I don’t support people who speak in that manner. Definitely do not go. The stylist is was great I had no problem with her.

Steph W. A couple of months back I sent my kids dad and daughter to get her 2nd haircut here. The first time I took my child here, she had such a great experience and was treated so well even with the language barrier we had. The lady who did her cut and style did such a beautiful job and it cost us $30 plus tip. Now tell me why the second time my kid went they got a dude who hyped them up about being from Houston and what not that he’s some excellent hair stylist, then completely did my kid so dirty. She asked for a layered hair cut similar to a wolf cut and butterfly cut. Yet this dude gives her something that looks like an Edgar cut. Didn’t even give her a shampoo or anything. Cost us $60. Her hair wasn’t even that long to begin with. My advice go with the girls who are gentle. This dude didn’t even know how to cut bangs.

I went to another place that has a kiosk at the plaza mall several times and they never got my eyebrows right, do yourself a favor and get your threading done here

ximena balseca I’ve been getting my eyebrows waxed for years and have never had problems at any salon. It’s such a simple, basic task. However, at Adria, I had the slowest and sloppiest wax experience ever. The technician dropped wax on my eyelashes (thankfully, it wasn’t properly warmed and was mostly cold), so no hair came out. Then, she dropped wax on my hair. I understand that mistakes happen, but this happened twice, and she didn’t even acknowledge it. Instead, she repeatedly told me to ‘calm down’—even though I hadn’t said a word. I decided not to proceed with the mustache waxing and left the establishment. I’ve never had such a poor experience at a salon, and I’ve never felt compelled to leave a negative review until now.”

Brianna Romo I got the worst cut of my life here. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I got home and tried to comb it myself. I wanted to cut it into a long bob (I went in with long hair) and it is a short choppy cut. I’m so depressed and sad. This will rank in the top 2 worst haircuts of my life!

kela the banana I got a perm here and it didn’t do much for my hair only my roots curled more. They didn’t tell me what to do with my hair and had to rely on google. Also i later found out you aren’t even supposed to dye highlighted hair so that’s probably why my hair didn’t curl. doesn’t feel worth the 150 i paid for.

Rebecca I Scheduled my first and only service, by phone, one week prior to my appointment, For 3 consecutive days, prior to my scheduled appointment, I Received text reminders of my 11 am appointment. On set day, I Arrived a few minutes early and was asked to take a seat wait. After waiting for about 15 minutes I was told by someone sitting-who worked there- that my facial specialist wasn’t starting her shift until 1 pm and that I could wait or reschedule. I left without getting my service or rescheduling. Reasons for problem, according to employee present, were the facial specialist being new and not knowing how to use the appointment/scheduling system. The boss was apparently contacted about problem, but a solution not offered. Weird and inconvenient experience. Unprofessional.
