Beckys warmth and genuine kindness immediately put me at ease. She took the time to chat with me, making sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout my visit. Lisa Ferraro Kevin Charles Salon in Plano is simply the BEST salon north of I-635 in the metroplex. I rate Kevin as one of the top hairdressers in the entire country. I feel comfortable trusting Kevin completely with my hair design and color. Month in and month out my hair looks fabulous! He also does a fantastic job on my husband’s hair. The salon decor is modern, clean, and inviting. We love Kevin and Kevin Charles Salon in Plano! Worth a visit!

Lauren Tiffany and John make a great team! I just needed a ton of length taken off and was expecting a really basic cut. Tiffany suggested something called a butterfly cut, so I gave her free rein. Its the best cut Ive ever had! For the first time in decades, Im looking forward to styling my hair and wearing it down instead of clipping it up every day. She also took plenty of time to show me multiple ways I could style it. Its like she took one look at me and instantly knew what would look the most flattering...just gorgeous! Oh, and affordable too! Ive splurged on pricy cuts in the past and been underwhelmed. John gave the most relaxing shampoo Ive ever had. I wish I could afford to go in a couple times a week just for that! Lovely people and amazing service. Highly recommended! I wish Id found them years ago.

Thuthuy Carlson AFFORDABLE, friendly, family owned business for 24 years. Found Best Clips after reading several great reviews via the Next Door app. I have really fine hair and have gone to expensive places like Tangerine and Dear Clark that couldnt do anything with my fine hair until I went to Tiffany at Best Clips. Loved my haircut which gave it volume and life. Took both my boys (8 and 9) years old for their kids cut and Mr. John was AMAZING! We kept going to places like Pig Tails and Crew Cuts and Sharkeys but were aways disappointed with the quality of their cuts not to mention their pricing. Mr. John gave my boys FANTASTIC and stylish cuts. Cant wait to show these boys off at the hockey rink and at school!

Chefsville My wife and I have been going to Best Clips Salon for over 10 years. Tiffany and John are wonderful. We feel engaged with great service, discussion, and meeting her other customers. Tiffany has been styling and highlighting our hair and we always look great when we leave. John gives the most relaxing messages. Even when giving a shampoo, his touch is so relaxing. Lastly, we see how detail oriented the owner is and how she really cares about the community she serves. The environment is clean and usually fun 80s music is playing. There is a TV for the video people along with a table for great 4 way conversation.

Jodi B Best Clips Salon is the best! Ive been going there over 4 years now, and Tiffany and John are the best. John gives the best head massages when he does the shampoo, and Tiffany always cuts my curly layers perfectly. Very affordable, and they take walk-ins. Highly recommended.

Alyssa Vellucci Shout out to Suzette!! I asked for long curtain bangs which I was a bit nervous about, but Suzette was so nice and helpful. I showed her a few ref photos of what I wanted and she was able to work with me to get what I imagined perfectly! The salon is cute too and everyone was friendly. Definitely recommend!

berny lozano NEVER go here i didnt get what i wanted maybe it was just the person who cut my hair (kaitlyn) but she left my hair so uneven and it didnt even look remotely what i had asked for in comparison to the picture. i wish i could get a refund ($60). i believe even i couldve cut my own hair better

Emily Wang In love with this hair salon! Not only are the hair stylists great, but the decor and atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Ive been here twice now - once with Claudia in August and then again in October with Ashley. Both were wonderful! They genuinely care about you and try their hardest to make you look your best. In addition, they share advice on what would look best for your hair as well as how to take care of your hair after treatment. Evidently, they always have your best interests in mind. To top it all off, theyre awesome conversationalists. As you can tell from the photos, they both did amazing jobs! I highly recommend The Hair Parlour, and Ill definitely be back!

Elizabeth Disney-Fanning HIGHLY recommend Karla! I’ve been going to the Hair Parlour for a few years now and each new stylist I have is better and better! I recently was seeing Salt, but she has since moved away so I looked at the other stylists and found Karla! I went to her instagram and loved the work she did (specifically with balayages and layers/face framing) and reached out. I had some booking issues trying to have a full balayage and haircut completed by Karla online (it would say no one was available, then it would try to have me split services between stylists) but we got that figured out and I appreciate her quick responses! I showed photos to Karla prior to the appointment and her work matched exactly what I wanted! In the color, the style, the haircut, and the BLENDING! I think this is the best hair session I’ve ever had! Karla is responsive, genuine, listens to what you want, and makes sure you like what you see before proceeding to each step. If I didn’t like something, she was willing to work on my hair more (which wasn’t necessary in my case, but she made me feel comfortable enough to voice any concerns I may have), she is kind and great to talk to, etc!!! I’m happy to have tried someone new and found Karla. Her prices are also great and reasonable!

Kayla Glover Keira was amazing! My hair was a wreck from box dying it for years. I had wanted blonde highlights and that wasnt going to happen. My hair was way too damaged. But she took the time to help me understand and showed me the damage it would do. I trusted her and she walked me through what color my hair could take and made me feel comfortable the entire time. She was lovely, funny, patient and knowledge. She definitely earned me as a client. Ill be back soon.

Wendi Witzel Ive been coming here for the last 5 years, and Marzia always does a great job. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the hair washing station is horrible. The lights are very bright so even if you close your eyes, its still very bright. That room should have a light dimmer. Also, the sinks are very uncomfortable to the point where I start to get anxiety from sitting there for so long. It always hurts my neck really bad. No fault of the hair stylist, this is on the owners themselves if they want to create a more spa like experience. Other than that, this place is great and the color/stylist are consistent.

Jessica Gibson I’ve gotten my haircut at this salon many times over the years and it’s one of the best. Masud is very personable and always does a great job of executing the style I’m looking for. The salon itself is welcoming and clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lawrence Liu Nitas Hair Salon is the best in Plano/Richardson for men and womens haircuts. Her customers are very loyal and travel to wherever she sets up her office.

Aaron Thompson Ive never had a nad experience here, nor has my wife. But, there are alot of different stylists at this location, so i cant speak for every single one of them. But if you want to be pampered, or you need a fresh haircut for that important job interview or meeting, i highly recommend coming the girls down here and letting them take care of you. Everyone ive met has been so kind and friendly.

Don I tried Z3 Salon for the first time today after getting ticked off at my former stylist for trying to see too many customers and overlapping appointments. Oanh did a fantastic job on my hair and I now have a new stylist for haircuts. Oanh was quick and efficient and I was extremely pleased. Lena Saghar is amazing. Ive gone dark ash brown and today got balayage today and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Honey colored highlights that look so natural like I had when I was a kid. She always listens and does her best to give you exactly what you want, but also doesnt do anything that would damage your hair. Highly recommend.

Yasemin Polat Kathy was so sweet. She did a gel manicure in time for my grandmother’s birthday. She is so easy to talk to so the time flies by while she’s working her magic. My grandma’s only complaint was she wishes her cuticles were cut a little more, but I think she did a great job overall. I found her on Groupon, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a nice smooth manicure. It was easy to set up an appointment she texted me and gave me easy to follow directions.

Background: My husband has cut my son’s hair since he was a baby and has never allowed anyone else to come near my son’s hair with a pair of scissors…until now. Received several recommendations from co-workers who go to Ken and finally my husband relented. It was so well done and everyone is happy, including my husband who would have been the harshest critic! Ken was very responsive to texts, easy to talk to, and kind. The price was also reasonable- for shampoo and cut. Thank you, Ken! Highly recommend.

They called my friend, who made the appointments for us, claiming they wanted to “make it right” and even asked her to convince me to take down my review. When my friend suggested a partial refund, they refused and instead offered to “fix” my hair—despite being told I no longer trust them to touch it. If you’re not going to provide a refund, why respond to my post pretending otherwise? It’s misleading and dishonest to act as though you’re reasonable and ethical when you’re not. This business clearly prioritizes making money over customer satisfaction. I wouldn’t mind paying if I was actually happy with the results, but I’m not. I’ll never return to this salon, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. ********* I had a terrible experience at this hair salon, and I would not recommend it to anyone. I went in for permanent hair straightening, and partial highlights. not only it was pricey but the results were disappointing. My hair ended up less smooth than it was before, it was not straight or smooth and felt so fizzy even after spent hours for permanent straightening treatment which they charged me $200 alone for that plus hair cut and hight light, total I paid $340. I gave Nina my stylist a picture of haircut I wanted but came out nothing like I wanted. I left feeling frustrated and regretful. Even I am not happy with the results I still tipped cash on top of $340 I had to paid. T he shop owner insisted he gave me a “huge discount,” but that doesn’t justify the poor service and actually double charged shampoo twice. My appointment took an exhausting 5.5 hours because the stylist, who seemed very inexperienced, constantly had to ask her boss/owner what to do. To make matters worse, she nearly burned my skin multiple times while blow-drying my hair. What was supposed to be a relaxing experience turned into a waste of time and money. I missed lunch plans with my friend because of how long the process took, and I’m unhappy with the results. This was an unprofessional and disappointing experience from start to finish.

Rebecca Smith Use to go to a salon that would charge $105 for haircut/trim. Would sit in uncomfortable chair for 2.5-3 hours for a basic haircut..was too expensive so I started looking around and found M Hair Salon. WOW..I love this place. Nothing fancy about it but let me tell you they are amazing! First experience was with Nina. She was able to shampoo/condition, cut (2-3 inches) dry and straighten my in little over an hour! So impressed with her and can not beat prices. Today was feeling lazy and called and asked if anyone could squeeze me in for a blowout, Vivian was able to take me within 30 minutes. I have a lot of hair but she got me washed and dried beautifully in about 35 minutes. Faster than those blowout places and cheaper. I will keep coming back for all my future hair needs. Can’t recommend them enough! Ditch the over priced salons and go to M Salon!!

Lillian Turner My first time at Avenue salon, but I think I just found a new place to get my hair done! I had Sara do my hair and she was so good. The results were amazing and exactly as I envisioned. The services were also performed in a very timely manner which I appreciated. The manager was also very helpful at the end and making sure that I was able to use the Groupon that I found online!! If you’re looking for a new place I would for sure check Avenue Salon out :)

Shelly Dillin Ive been going to Natasha for over 9 years and she is fabulous. She does my cut, color, balyage and keratin treatments. My hair looks fabulous! She is truly one of the nicest people and I always enjoy my time with her in the chair. She is so professional and I love that she does continuous research on new trends, techniques and training so, she is always aware of the latest products, cuts, etc. I know she is super busy but I highly recommend the wait to get an appointment with her, if youre a new customer.

I moved here 6 years ago and cried for the first 5 months because I couldn’t find a hair dresser that did quality extensions like I was used to in New Port Beach … then I looked up Best in Plano… and found Natasha at Classy & Dasdy Salon!!! My hair needed so much work, but she brought it all back to life!! She can do any color and matches your extensions to the color perfectly! She is so fun, too… which makes time fly and you look forward to your time with her. She gives you undivided attention! And her prices are super reasonable for her exceptional work! Sarah Skaik I went to this salon and got a facial from Nadine because I knew I could be taking better care of my skin than I was. After the facial, I was more motivated than ever to start paying attention to my skin. I left the appointment with my skin feeling very hydrated and clean. I feel that I can really trust Nadine with my skin because she has given me skincare advice that have changed my routine for the absolute best. Not to mention that the environment is very clean and she was very cautious regarding the pandemic. I wouldn’t even say 5 stars is enough to rate this experience, if you want to get back on track with your skin, Nadine is your girl.

Nadine Abualneel Love working here. The atmosphere is so calming and fancy makes the clients feel like they are getting luxury services. All the workers here are so nice and welcoming and everyone truly wants the best for everyone. Has good amenities and nice rooms with fair prices. Phenix salons has been my first salon suite I rented and I’m pleasantly surprised with how it’s going so far. Would recommend to anyone who wants to rent a room.

Ariel Johnson She made me feel bad about my natural hair, and rushed through doing the style and then charged me more than the stated price due to saying my hair was a bad texture and too fine and too thick. I would not recommend going here.

Najwa M Erika has done color on my locs on multiple occasions which turned out beautiful. My last appointment with her was to get my sisterlocks cut, Erika did a phenomenal job. She exceeded my expectations on this cut, my hair was long but boring. She spiced me up to short and spunky, I love it so much and it’s perfect for these Texas hot summers!

Kay I would give this salon 5 stars; however, I have had more than one instance where I have had to wait at least 45 minutes for my appointment. I always show up on time for my appointments. Waiting over an hour is excessive. It is already hard enough to schedule appointments as they fill up fast, so its not like you can easily reschedule for the next day. I was not aware of the wait until I got there. At least a curtesy text or call would be appreciated so that I can plan according rather than showing up to the salon and having to wait over an hour. A few minutes is understandable but a wait this long for a scheduled appointment should be addressed. It is very inconsiderate as people have other things scheduled for the day as do you all. I respect other peoples time, so that is something that I expect in return. Other than this, I do love the salon! I love how my hair turns out and the studio itself. It is very relaxing and I look forward to coming. I would hate to have to find a new studio, so I hope timeliness and communication can be improved. Especially since this seems to be a pattern.

cass I visited this Japanese hair salon and had an overall pleasant experience. The salon itself is very clean and inviting, which I really appreciated. The shampoo and scalp massage were especially relaxing and felt really luxurious. The hairdresser was very kind and professional, making the experience enjoyable. However, I did have one issue with the haircut. I asked for a wolf cut, but unfortunately, it was cut much shorter than I expected. Even after a year and a half of growth, my hair has only just reached the same length as it was when I first got it cut. While the price was very affordable for the service, I do wish they had paid a bit more attention to the length. Still, for the value and the friendly service, it was an okay experience overall.

Kristina I’ve been going to Arukas for over a year now and can honestly say I do not trust anyone else with my hair. Nana has taken such good care of me from day one. Shop is small but feels personable!! Nana gives me a head massage with essential oils and a small back massage too as part of the service.

Nike Im sure the guy is good at what he does but he didnt speak any English so It was difficult to have a simple conversation and no way to tell him what hair cut I want. My haircut turned out fine. I just wish they can have basic English to communicate. My visit was back in September 2023

XIN YANG They used Olaplex for bleaching and coloring, which is a highly recommended product. However, the color they did was completely different from what I expected. I did bleaching twice and dying twice, and sit there for almost 7 hours. None of the color was even close to the picture I showed. I saw recommendation on Red and came to this store, but felt disappointed with it. I have been feeling sad these days and have to post my experience. QAQ

Bella Lee This is the hair salon Ive been going to for 5 + years. Shes amazing! She does my hair exactly the way I want. My scalp is sensitive, so most bleaching products are too strong for me, but she always manages to bleach my hair perfectly without any damage. Highly recommended!

Janghee Han Kind owner and she has great skills. Been coming here for 3 years now. She is Korean and has English limitation so if you want to ensure better communication, show her translation. I think she has robust background in make up and wedding hair and had education from Vidal Sassoon long ago. I hope people appreciate her more. Thanks Michelle.

Mohit Bhole My girlfriend loved my hair cut. In her words: I provided the stylist with reference photos, and she created a look just like what I asked for. She was very fast, professional, and reasonably priced. I will be returning when I need another cut. She does a VERY GOOD job on thinner/finer hair. I do not have a lot of volume, but the cut and styling she did gave me lots of volume.

y l It was terrible. After I showed Michelle what I wanted and how my hairstyle looked, she just didn’t get it. I ended up with the ugliest haircut of my life. Even the ends of my hair are uneven in length.

Young G. Ma Me and my wife revisited Timing Hair again for my wife’s C-Curl perm. Michelle is always the best. She is kind and super fast even thought the salon was so busy and she is the only hair stylist. Thank you and highly recommend for men and womens cut and perm. I thinks she is honestly great.
