natalie webb The Element is THE BEST hair salon I’ve personally ever been to. The owner, Jennifer, is so professional, relational, skilled with amazing technique! She has always worked around my schedule. Her salon is clean and has a wonderful selection of hair care products, clothing, jewelry, and leather goods. I always leave satisfied! Jennifer has colored, cut, put in hair extensions, and styled my hair for my wedding. I trust her and all her stylist with every hair need. I highly recommend the element to ANYONE and EVERYONE!

New to the Bowie area and I messaged their Facebook page about needing a out of normal appointment because of my work schedule and quickly received a reply back with a stylist that could accommodate me. The Element is a cute shop in Bowie that is welcoming, comfortable and looks like they have lots of services that I need to check out. Karli was amazing! She listened to me about a bad experience that had ruined my hair(out of state salon). Karli made sure I got a beautiful color and that my hair didnt get any more damage. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Karli to anyone looking for a new stylist in Bowie!!

shawna graves I had the worst haircut done there. They didnt listen. Went back 3 times and the owner or the employee never got it right. I had to finally go to Brittney at lisas studio in Bowie and pay to have them fix it . Save your hard earned money and dont go there. Wishing I could get a refund.

Patrick Miller Nice place and pretty friendly staff. The haircut was for my son and the stylist was doing a good job trying to get his hair looking good but was unable to not cut a straight line across his forehead. This may be an issue with everyone because every stylist we visit cuts a straight line across his forehead like its an addiction in the industry. I would go back again because overall the haircut was good.

Jennifer Pena My first experience the stylist over processed my hair. She was kind and happily corrected it. Today I was supposed to have my 2nd appointment. i show up and no one is there. I called my stylist to find out that she is no longer living in town or working there. This is after several texts to confirm my appointment and confirming. This is very poor professionalism. Back to looking for an upstanding salon!

Haven Fleming If I could give zero stars I would. I paid $150 and got completely ripped off by this lady. She knew I had a medical condition causing hair loss and took advantage of me. She was rude, hit my vehicle with her car door, lied, and overcharged me for services that didn’t even last the rest of the day. THE SAME DAY I had to go get fixed what she had done to me.

Lorena Uriostigui I absolutely love my hair from here!!! I was in the area visiting my family. My hair was in terrible shape after I used box color to dye it red!!! I had my hair transformed by the wonderful hair stylist, Jessica. She corrected my hair color and gave me a great cut. Her consultation and professional demeanor put all my worries to rest. She explained that box color is the worst thing for my hair and that I can easily maintain it with the right combination of products and techniques. Its a long trip for me but I will definitely be back here.

Dana Craig I love the atmosphere at this salon. It’s beautiful and a great place to relax while Texarkana’s best get you looking your best! I have highlighted my hair for years. It used to be so difficult to manage due to the damage but the Unique products I purchase from the Beauty Barr have completely changed my hair. It doesn’t look like it has ever seen a bleach bottle. I’ve also been recently trying out the new K18 and it has made my hair even softer, stronger & healthier. I will walk in any day, sit in Taylor’s chair and give her complete artistic freedom. These girls know their stuff!

James Swearengin Sat down Sunday to get my hair cut because my normal shop was closed. The guy did a decent job but never touched the front of my hair. Was completely shocked to find that he charged me literally three times more than every other shop in Texarkana. Prices are astronomical!

Meredith Ashworth 1/31/25 - I called and was able to get in with in 15 minutes of calling. Stephanie was amazing and did a great job and pricing was reasonable. If I am in town again and need my hair cut I will differently be back to see her. I highly recommend if you are looking for someone.

Kathryn Rasmussen Stephanie was amazing! I had a mess of colors in my hair from a bad dye I had done a few months back (by someone else) and she took care of it and got it all evened back out for me! The cut is adorable too! Shes also a lot of fun to talk to and very polite. 10/10 definitely recommend her! Before and after pics so you can see the magic she worked on it!

Marie It was bad at the start I had to wait a hour and a half after signing in to even get just started, then the girl was very sweet but I told her to give me a blowout taper fade but she couldnt even do it correct now my hairline is terrible and now I look like a clown I am never coming back to such an awful place because this service is just terrible

Lauré Kennedy Went in as a walk in Saturday (2/22/25). Young lady (long blonde hair, super sweet, didnt catch her name, front counter/helper?) informed me it would be about an hour which was fine by me. I was checked on more than once. It was about an hour until the young lady took me back to wash my hair until Brenda could get me in the chair. Brenda did an AMAZING job on my hair. I typically only get my hair cut twice a year, on a spur of the moment decision due to busy schedule. Brenda got me in, didnt rush me even though I had no appointment, and I left loving my hair. I would recommend Brenda to anyone. And the young lady (really wish I would have caught her name) is super kind and made sure everyone coming in was taken care of!

Olivia Brenda fixed my hair after someone else did a bad cut. I absolutely love my new hair and I will be coming back to Brenda! All the other girls were nice as well and you could tell they have good co-worker relationships!

Andrew Little Sunday afternoon, been needing , putting off haircut . Was doing some shopping, so stopped in to say hello and get a trim . Only one stylist working and a full days schedule. Wonderful person , cut hair many times . Knowing that it would be quick , he fit me in ,- 10min later all cleaned up and good to go . He didnt have to , wasnt expected to ,, but hes really just a great person . A busy hectic day , but just breezing through it . Highly recommend

IO The haircut I got was not what I had in mind but the price is very fair. I wanted to shorten a cut that was previously layered at another salon. I asked for three evenly spaced layers and instead of confirming with me how the layers should look, the stylist seemed to do what she wanted with it. One side was also cut shorter than the other, meaning my hair had to be cut shorter than I was comfortable with to even it out. It cant be fixed until it grows out again but it serves as a reminder that you get what you pay for. Haircut aside, the stylist was friendly and social which did make the atmosphere more comfortable.
