Ashley Grider The BEST experience I’ve had at a nail salon!! Shout out to Moon and Nancy for their expertise pampering they gave my little girl. Not only did they talk and sing to her, they gave top notch polish jobs and made her nails perfect. All other places I’ve taken her to left her polish sparse and sloppy, I’m guessing because she’s “just a child.” Another huge shout out to Amy for the best pedicure I’ve ever had!!

Miss kitty Monroe I would give a zero!! First Lady nail and spa is VERY unsanitary they gave me my first toe fungus ever I was kind embarrassed to post but this is ridiculous!! I always do my own toes but I was going on vacation so I decided to give them a try … why did I do that?! I chose the pineapple pedicure, & I already had to ask the man to replace a foot scrubber that looked like the whole town used it was almost the size of a old bar of soap and he was upset! long story short if you love your feet don’t not come here!! I also observed no cleaning solution anywhere not even the dirty nail brushes… They are not up to the correct cleaning standards to own this type of business in my opinion!! My service was a pedicure with gel polish I removed myself after one week due to a burning sensation and this is the result

Cheyna Mackey Love! This salon. It was a treasure in a hidden corner. I have been seeking someone to do some nail art (who didn’t laugh in my face), and they were more than able. And on top of that, everyone there was so nice! It’s not a common trait so much anymore, so I appreciate that when I’m spending my hard earned money that I’m treated with such kindness!

Hanna Stocks Owner was super nice and helpful! Place was clean and used cleaned tools too. Lots of staff available for my appointment. Was a little bummed, though. Went w a friend and had four ppl working on us, two each, while we both got mani-pedis. Her nails turned out 10/10. Gorgeous. It was my first time getting a dip, but I don’t think my nail tech cleaned them up well and a couple of the nail extensions were crooked. Asked my bf too and he said that was his first thought when he saw them but loved the color. My friends nails were amazing though! Hans the guy who did my pedicure and the two techs who did her nails and toes were insanely sweet, patient, and careful with their work. I wish I could give a glowing review for them, but my nail tech was somewhat rude and seemed to rush my nails and stressed me out a little bit. I tipped afterwards for both of us then took some cash and went to the back to go tip Hans and my friend’s techs extra bc they were so awesome, but my nail tech saw me walking to the back and called me back and asked what I was doing and said if I wanted to tip, to give it to her to add and they would just split it. She definitely knew what I was up to and wish she’d have let me thank them for their work. So- bummed w my nails a bit but would still recommend overall, especially considering how nice most of the other staff was and how much my friend enjoyed herself and her nails.

Susan Hulstine I had the powder dip nails and Larry did a fantastic job! They worked me in at the last minute before closing and we were done right on time. The ombré nails were done perfectly and quickly. Larry was super nice. Every time I’ve used Luxor nails, about 5 times, I’ve always had an excellent tech. They are very nice there too. 10/1/23 Went back and had a mani pedi. Cathy and Ivy did a great job.

Kristian Molina Went to get a quick pedicure yesterday. I haven’t been to Luxor in years so figured I’d give them a try again. The lady handed me the book and I chose the lavender pedicure which was priced at $40. When I went to pay she charged me $60. I wouldn’t have minded paying $60 if that’s what the book said. And I also went ahead and just paid it without fuss. But the deceitful acts will have me not returning. Everyone should make sure their not getting scammed as well.

Brittnay Lavy Nail tech was rude. I came in to get 3 nails fixed and she used a completely different white than what was on my other nails and had a very poor attitude. And completely refused to match the colors

We are very happy with our service here and always manage to MAKE OUR APPOINTMENT to be seen and taken care of. My son is by far very happy with his barber and talks him through what he’s doing and how to style his hair. The others make sure we are taken care of while we are waiting for our appointment. I really appreciate the professionalism is this place and highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Marie E. Out of all the times I’ve been here, my last visit left me HIGHLY upset. I went in for a pedicure and nexgen nails. I showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted done and it was nothing like the picture I showed her. I normally would spend $85 total for both , and Tip but this time they charged me $115. The charged me $25 for “gel design” which was literally the thinnest white line, she said it was to last longer. It’s been a week and my nails look as if I’ve had them longer than a week. They could of just done the whole nail in nexgen dip instead of trying to rob me out of more money. & also 2 nails have dents in them. I can say I will never go back.

Macy Bullard I would give no stars if I could. I got tips put on and the powder done (just one color, no designs). First complaint is that the nails are very uneven and not at all smooth. Ugly bumps on every nail. Second complaint is that when the first tech put my tips on (pretty sure he was the owner), he put hardly any glue down for the tips. I knew as soon as I saw it that they were probably going to break off. I got these nails done on Thursday evening. Today is Saturday. This afternoon, one of my thumbnails broke in half after I BARELY hit it on something. What really made me upset was when my OTHER thumbnail broke in half, as well, just hours later. I have been extremely careful with them as well, given that I got them longer than I usually do. This has been the absolute WORST experience for getting my nails done. It cost $45 for this. I guess you get what you pay for. Not to mention the other people I went with were also unsatisfied with their low quality nails. Will never go back, and I do not recommend. Edit: One of the people went back the next day to get them redone and the owner was incredibly rude about the whole thing and tried charging her AGAIN for the new set they did. Dont waste your time or money here.

Nina Zapatero Came here on May 18 to get my nails and feet done for my wedding. Had good experiences here before. Left paying $145 for French nexgen nails and French gel toes. The woman who did my feet was amazing she did great work. I got the $45 aloe pedicure and I did feel like I got my moneys worth on that part. The man who did my nails didn’t do so good- i didn’t get any tips just used my natural short nail. He kept tried convincing me to get tips. Had a charge for shaping my already round nails. I asked for extra work around my cuticles (since I was paying extra for it) and he still failed to get my cuticles like I knew they could have been and also made me bleed pretty bad on thumb in the process because he wanted to rush and get them with the nail drill instead of soaking nails then using cuticle scissors. Then proceeded to paint over the blood. My nails were already lifting only less than a week after. So I was charged for the french nexgen and also had a charge for “tips” when all I used was my natural nail. Please make sure to look at y’alls receipts for extra charges. Pic is 2 days after service. 2 stars, only gave 3 since the lady did well and took her time on my feet.

Glenda Brock I’ve known Andy and Kelly for several years now. I was so excited when they shared that they were opening their own place because I knew that it would offer a clean, friendly salon with top notch service…and it does. Being diabetic, I can relax and know that my feet are in good hands!

Nina Zapatero Went in for dip/nexgen nails and basic pedicure. She first tried to clip off my natural nail. $50 for basic Nexgen- top coat started flaking off as soon as I left due to her using solar as top coat on nexgen. Will not be coming back here. If you’re picky about your nails- don’t come here. Guy who did toes did okay. $30 for basic pedicure.

Brent Sauvageau First time getting a pedicure. I chose the above average treatment, and was thoroughly pleased! Tons of callous off my feet and finally trimmed my bear-claws! Towards the end, she offered to paint my toenails! That was a HARD NO!!!!!! I might have a new pampering day in the near future! Maybe every 3-4 months!! My feet feel so much better too!!!!!!! Highly recommend this place!

asia yancey I called for an appointment. Got me in right away. Friendly customer service. Offered me a nice cool water and treated me with kindness. Very happy with the cleanliness of the establishment. Got a full set of nexgen and a pedicure for a great price. Anxious to see how long they last will update my review. Update; only wore nails for a week. Have lost several like they are those glue on.

Kendall Hendricks Very disappointed in the service here. My daughter showed an inspo pic (shown below with gold rings) and the other picture posted is what she got. I took her back to have the nails fixed, the woman began to talk about how much the nails cost and said if she would keep them then she could get a $15 discount next time. I explained she simply wanted a nude pink at this point to remedy the miscommunication/misunderstanding of what was originally wanted. We were told that it was nearly closing time and she would call me “soon”. We decided to go to another nail salon who gladly remedied the problem. Even they were horrified at how my daughter’s nails looked.

Demetrice Harris I made an appointment to get a manicure. The nail tech was 32 minutes late. The owner is more concerned about money instead of customer service. The owner told the nail tech to give me a manicure without white tips due to the salon being busy. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at Escape Nails in Sherman Texas. The salon owner’s customer service is terrible. I would not recommend this salon. The salon is in poor condition. There was a problem with the water heater and the techs were physically pouring water in the bowls for customers to get a pedicure.

Jodee Mcdonald I received a pedicure today. 4/19/24. Tim at this location was wonderful. Im a big baby due to bad experiences in the past and often flentch when having a pedicure. He was patient and kind and made sure I was happy with my nails. If it hadnt been for him my rating for this location would not be good. The other technicians (who were literally sleeping in pedicure chairs and giving disaproving glares at customers as they walked in and then went back to sleeping) were rude and disrespectful to clients that came in. Ill be back but only to see him.

Stephani Batchelor So I have only gone twice, but both times I was thoroughly impressed!! The first time I went, I got a design and the second time I opted for an ombre. Gina does an incredible job, and trying to find someone to do the stiletto nails the way I like them is always a challenge. She did it perfect both times. I have officially found my new favorite nail tech!

liz ojeda Love this place. Not fancy, but they do a beautiful job on my nails. I have been to 3 or 4 other places and this one is the best. Do not go in a hurry. There were 3 operators doing amazing waiting on 5 and 6 patrons at the same time by doing a lot of running back and forth. It is still well worth it.

Michelle Bryant At first I really liked Vee until recently. I have always tipped her either $10 or $20 when I went in to get my nails done. She said she considered me her friend not just a customer, but I needed 2 nails fixed & she was very rude and told me to get it fixed somewhere else & to book an appointment with her when I needed a new set! It’s fine, she’s not the only person in the world who can do nails like her!!!!

Nancy Romano If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went to go get an acrylic set and a pedicure. Even though the pedicure was nice and I enjoyed it very much. The acrylic set was very disappointing. For $50 I expected better I definitely will not be returning.

It was half the price of where I used to go. Ill definitely be back! Update! My last set lasted me a whole month! My new set (black and white w/black 3D flower) is sooo cute! It was a different nail artist than last time, but she took her time and did so good! Love them!

Jose Gonzalez I get pedicures regularly since I work in construction and take care of my feet, but this was one of the laziest experiences I’ve had. She took no consideration to work on my in grown toe nails .There was a total lack of effort; she clearly wasn’t concentrating on the task at hand. I don’t recommend this place at all. I’ve paid half the price for better service elsewhere. I’m not complaining about the cost—just the horrible service. Even when she worked on my feet, it felt like she didn’t care. Just because I’m a guy doesn’t mean I don’t have expectations. If you want a quality experience, don’t come here; there was a complete lack of effort. The last pictures are after she finished

Emma Lamb Worst nail service I have ever had in 36 years of getting nails. Prices online are lower than in store where they have taped over the price with a higher price. They also have a sign at check out that they charge 2.5% for one to use a credit card because they have to pay that fee. Everything is an add-on. Shaping the nail? $15. Then the service? Had French painted on. All of the tips are different widths. When I said something she was going to file the nails down to match the width!! Horrible experience and will NEVER go back.

hayley white If I could give this place a 0 I would. Came in with my boyfriend and wanted simple french tip manicure. I was passed between 4 different people within my manicure. They could not do French tip and had her take it off twice just to go with a plain pink color. They didn’t even clean under my nails and left glue all underneath. Definitely will never be back.

Naomi Ramirez Came here on Sunday and my nails are HORRIBLE. I asked for something and showed them pictures and they didn’t do them like that. My nails look like a kid did them. I wish they would have fixed them when I asked. The edges by the cuticle are so ugly too and they are all different shapes and sizes!!!!

Jess This was my second visit to this location. There were 3 of us, 3 pedicures, 2 manicures +color. The technician seemed rushed throughout the entire service, and my nails were left sloppy. I had to ask her to redo several nails because they looked like they were about to peel off. Even after the redo, the quality didnt improve—there were still visible air bubbles, no attempt to clean up the edges, and I ended up with a few cuts on my fingers. Less than four hours later, one of my nails chipped. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Cindy Blanton Well go in got yes 30 package lady barley cuts my toe nails and did nothing last maybe 10 minutes for everything. Cheap nail polish but if you want sealer to hold cheap toe nail polish you got pay 10 more. Don’t go here she is rude too yelling go somewhere else and don’t listen to you, the worst place in world unless.

Marcy Wiggins I have been going here for at least 15 years. It is ALWAYS clean and they do a great job. I get compliments every single time I have my nails done. Their prices are clearly marked and are very reasonable. I have never been treated rudely. They are very professional, and very nice. I enjoy it every time I go. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Very sweet people.

James Elk Worst pedicure I ever had, not only cut my cuticle but my toe as well! Painful and bleeding. Packed it with some kind of power to stop the bleeding. It’s been 8 hours and still hurting. Never again!!!! Never even acknowledged that it happen with no apology. The picture was taken at home. Look how ruff my nails look. Still charged me $65.00.

leslie miller The best pedicure I’ve ever had. I have gotten pedicures for 20 years + in Dallas and this place beats any of the more luxurious places I’ve gone in the past. After moving to this area several years ago, I tried three other popular nail salons in Sherman & Denison before trying Jenna’s. The pedicure Cindy gives is amazing. Seriously, her massage is better than most professional masseuses I’ve been to. The pedicure is beautiful. She is so detail oriented. Love, love, love! Everyone should try this place. The price is reasonable too.

Sam Hawks I have never in my life written a review so with that being said that means I am extremely dissatisfied and flabbergasted with the service I received. I’ve been to this place of business four times since July of 2022, with more recent visits in May, June and today August 23rd. All past three visits ZERO complaints I stated what I wanted and got exactly that. So why is today any different, I walked in stated I need two pedi’s and a take off. Now I did forget to say I wanted an overlay after the take off( no issue there) I apologized and services continued. On both of my hands EACH cuticle was cut by the drill. Yes I kept saying OUCH that hurts or that burned changed absolutely nothing. Now a rule of thumb any time services are done on the hand you’re instructed to wash your hands, nope didn’t happen. Once both pedi’s and nails were done just sitting drying I asked “ how much do I owe”? The woman came with her calculator and stated $127.00 I said how, how much were the pedicures? She stated $41.00 each I said isn’t it $30 or $35 she said yea but you got the $41.00 one. I said I didn’t ask for that nor did you confirm the price ( they never did on previous visits) and my nails $45.00. Then she had the nerve to say “ you got the best one “. My total was $130.81 there’s no way in hell I’ll ever go back. Yes their fast but at what cost.

Leensey the women that do nails, feet , and brows are racist: they use derogatory insults when they feel you don’t understand. the ladies there ruined my brows so bad i’ve had to just completely shave them off. i understand that this place was in a low income community, but not even those who are low income deserve services like this.

Angel W. The pedicure service is always great & relaxing! They didnt cut on the massage chair like they usually do during my last visit, but I over looked that because they were so busy. Mr. Le did a great job on my nails! He is a funny & friendly guy. Those qualities relaxed me. He also didnt cut my cuticles and make me bleed like past nail techs have done repeatedly. Because of Mr. Le I want my nails done all the time now. I will be requesting him again. If he isnt there I will be real sad. Please dont let Kim touch your eyebrows! She really needs more practice. I want my brows to match. Not one thick and one thin. Its a good thing I keep eyebrow blades at home, and I know how to fix my own brows when this happens. When I was there last time everyone was asking for Donna to do their brows, but she wasnt there. I have been going here off and on throughout the years, and the service quality for eyebrows have changed. Thats the only thing I have noticed so far.

Raven Billingsley If I could give a 0/5 I would. I got a “deluxe pedicure” with gel polish earlier today and you cannot tell. The staff did not shape my nails or attempt to make them appear somewhat similar in shape or length. Initially, the polish was bumpy and all over my skin/nail bed. When I asked the nail tech to redo the coat and clean it up a little she got an attitude. I spent two hours being serviced by two techs getting a pedicure just for them to look like this. I am beyond frustrated. Do not go here! Save your money, do it yourself if needed. This establishment is horrible from the quality of service, the skillset to the customer service. Not to mention it’s filthy & outdated on the inside as well.

Justin Welsh Seriously the worst service I’ve ever had. We came in with family to celebrate my niece getting married, the gentleman was so careless and rude I sat through the pedicure bawling. Got to my nails and he trimmed them and painted but no filling, no shaping, no care at all with the paint. So disappointed.

Dawn Alletto Went there for the first and last time today. I went with a friend and my daughter in law and was there when they opened the doors. My daughter in law had a full set put on first while my friend and i had pedicures. They were so bad that the manager took the nails off and redid them. Then we had to wait for the manager to do ours. It took 4 hours to get us done and we were still charged for my daughter in laws nails. They charged 15 extra for my friend and I to get decals put on that I brought. We will.never go back.

Anna R In the moment, I enjoyed my experience at 5-Star Nail & Spa. The staff is kind, great color selections, and there was almost no one there at around 10am during the week. i got a gel mani and pedi. the pedi looks perfect but i noticed after the fact that they did NO cuticle work on my hands. they should have been pushed back and trimmed my cuticles. so now the gel is already coming up at the cuticle (2 days later) and look cheap and messy.

Laine Golston I asked if they could just use the acrylic to paint on my nails like polish. And I asked for a manicure. A man removed my cuticles. Then buffed the nails. Then he started applying the acrylic and started putting it on thick. I said no; thats not what I asked for. He still put it on thick. Then after he all was done. He said youre all done. I asked what about my manicure. He put some lotion on my hands and he said okay. They charged me $60
