shayla anderson Super nice people....the service was great, and so were the nail designs. They were so nice to my daughter for her bday. She got a manicure and i got a pedicure. We went for her 8th birthday and will be back.

Jennifer Mindy has done my daughter’s nails twice now and each time we leave we’re both so amazed at her precision and works of art. She does an amazing job, and truly takes her time to make it look exactly like the picture my daughter brings in. She even stayed after closing to finish. I highly recommend Mindy!!! The entire staff is so wonderful and friendly as well. The salon is beautiful too! I would 100% recommend. Thank you Young Star Nails!!

Dejah Anna I tried Gel X nails for the time, including getting a freestyle design by Mindy, who was excellent! The atmosphere of the salon is great and very relaxing. I can’t wait to bring my whole family in when I get my bridal nails done by Mindy!

Nicole Grimsley Dee did an amazing job at making sure to come up with the perfect teal color scheme that fit my description of what I wanted. His ombré design of teal that faded into a white at the tips was so perfect!! I also had the best pedicure ever! It was sooo relaxing. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The establishment was very clean which is huge factor for me especially when deciding to have my feet done.

Kym Kym Best nail shop in Killeen. Amazing at their craft very professional, well kept, and lovely atmosphere. They take their time with you so make sure you’ve got time when you go.

Hunei Ditmyer If there was a choice to put zero for a rating, I would. My friend and I got our nails done there. Tony (the manager I think) was very rude to my friend and had us pay IN ADVANCE instead of after. My friend asked for straight style nails and he told her no and that the other shape looked better. She also wanted one small design on one finger and he told her no. She also needed an extra coat of paint on her nails because they are see through right now. Tonys service was horrible today so please never go to this place and if you do request Jenny to do your nails and do not let Tony tell you no.

RaJa DuBose It was okay I was very happy with the design she was able to get by looking at a photo I wanted. The pedicure was just perfect though it was very relaxing Im ticklish so it was funny for me when she started scraping my feet and massaging the bottom of them it came with a leg massage. If I wasnt in a store Id fall asleep from it to top it off a hot rag ooooweee yes maam.

Guetchine Charles I don’t get my nails done very often, but I’ve only gone there the few times I go per year sine 2020. I haven’t been disappointed. Last time I went was last week and Jenny did these. She was so gentle and quick, I could’ve fallen asleep! Short and cute just how I like them.

Brittany Leigh I went in for a full set and it was ok. They definitely will straight up make fun of other people’s nails that weren’t done there in front of customers. My nails look fine but it took 2 hours and change which was just unexpected. I’m hoping they last because they’re cute but there is a gap between my nail and the false tips used. If they don’t come off in a few days, I’d probably go back. I wasn’t mad, but also wasn’t blown away.

Milcah Villaronga CONS: I asked for gel nails with French tips. What I got was gel polish with a terribly messy French tip job. I was confused about what they were doing the whole time and kept hoping that what was being done was intentional and would be fixed later. But nope. They sent me on my way with the mess. And I say “they” because more than one person worked on my nails. They were tag-teaming on my nails. What I mean by messy it that the white edge wasn’t clean on any of the nails and there was some white on the part that’s supposed to be clear. At one point I was asked what I thought about what was being done, but as soon as it looked like I was about to say something lacking of approval, the tech immediately took back my hand and said that he’s not finished and told me not to worry. So again, I waited. And in the end, it was still a mess. And I was charged $30 for this gel polish mess. On top of all of that, it didn’t even take 24 hours for my nails to start peeling. What a waste of my time and money. (Since this incident a couple days ago, I have educated myself a little about what a true gel job should look like, and the differences between gel nails, gel polish, and acrylic nails.) PROS: My manicure came with a real nice hand and arm massage and a “free” drink.

Justice Mastrianna I went in for my birthday and got a French gel manicure. By the time I came home they chipped, so I went back in the next day to have them fixed. You can see the other layers of the old nail polish because they didn’t redo them just painted over the old. There’s nail polish all over my fingers and hands that wasn’t cleaned up and since it’s gel it’s pretty stuck on there. I wish I could post pictures from just how bad they look. They were pretty rude, and they called someone’s nails ugly to the lady sitting next to me. They didn’t clean any of their brushes after me or before me. It honestly looks like a 5 year old painted my nails. I’m highly disappointed. I would recommend going somewhere else.

Eric Ramos Super clean, great pricing, and AMAZING work here. I’ve been going here for over half a year and have never experienced anything negative. Kenny is best at massaging and Tina is best at cuticle trimming. Both good at the actual painting aspect. I’ve gone to over 100 different places all over the US and this is seriously the best pricing as well as the best pedicure and manicure I’ve had. More people need to know about this place! They are beside sports clips in the Killeen plaza with the Starbucks. -Jasmine

Chrislynn Eikel Took my friend to get her first manicure in a long time and was sincerely disappointed in the service. We told the tech exactly what we wanted and she would not listen, and all it was was a simple French manicure with oval tips. I walked out with square because every time I said something she looked annoyed, and spent nearly two hours with a file at home fixing the shape. Not to mention less thank a week later one of them had already popped off completely. Over priced horrible service, I would not recommend wasting your money here

nani kaloi The service was awful. One side nails was cut poorly and shorter then the other hand. Tina didnt think anything was wrong with it. The other nail "tech" said it look great. Took my granddaughter there too today and she was very disappointed. Would not recommend this nail place.

Tayleen Coleman The above 2 stars are due to how I was misled into spending more than my budget could allow for services rendered. If I as a customer request a specific service, the attending technician should be quiet, and stay focused on the customers request, and not manipulate and use her words into conning unsuspecting customers to end up paying More for services rendered. I repeat: Nail technicians should be Quiet and NOT offer any extra services without the customer knowing EXACTLY how much more that service will be, and NOT play around with words. We are all struggling under these hard economic times, and every penny counts.

Jai Amayze Had a manicure and pedicure (with two toe designs) which cost $100... ?? I have never paid anything over $60 in Killeen. I didnt ask why/how it was that much, I just paid. No biggie, but about 1 week later the polish on my toes had already begun to fade. High price, low quality.

Rebecca Ford This was my first time visiting this shop being that I am new to the area. My experience was OK. For the VERY HIGH PRICING I thought I would get excellent service. I went in to get a full-set of nails and a deluxe pedi. I really enjoyed the pedi process, there wasnt many people breaking down the door to get there nails and pedis done on a Tuesday however, I felt my job was rushed. When my toe nails did dry I noticed the polish coming up and I said something to the person in charge, I guess. He just said that if my polish comes off come back. For my nails, I am picky but when you are a military familiy in a new area you have to take a chance. I did and this guy asked me how I liked my nails. I let him know I work in a childcare center so my nails need to be short, I like them to have a natural look. He said natural and started laughing. I explained I know they arent going to be my nails I just want it to look decent. He asked me what shape I wanted I said square but rounded. He had most my nails crooked. Some nails were longer than others and not aligned. one of my nails had a spot that was missing acrylic. I had to tell him. I had to get him to straighten up my nails by saying I will just go home and fix it. The he seemed concerned.Another person applied my polish. Then I was told to sit to let my nails dry. I reminded them I was getting a design on each ring finger. A lady said yeah but your nails have to dry. Then the person that designed my toes came and did the same design on my nails then the person that polished my nails came back and half way polished my nails with a clear coat. I also said something about it. When I paid for my service I was disappointed ! I dont mind paying for what I get but when I feel rushed and the job was half done I was not excited to pay out that money for a sloppy job!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY WILL NEVER GET MY SERVICE OR MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mellissa Dixon So I went to this establishment twice and twice I left disappointed. I did a full set and a pedicure total cost was $100. Upon inspecting my nails they were poorly done the worst job I have ever gotten. I decided to give this establishment another chance. This time to do a refill. The owner husband did my nails this time. He was clearly in a hurry and failed to seal my edges. When I pointed it out to him he tried to explained why he could not seal the edges. I told him regardless of what he had to say I still want them sealed. I guess he attempted but was unsuccessful because I still have edges that are unsealed and after paying to get my nails done on Saturday I will have to do a soak off the prevent water from getting between the acrylic and my nails. Never again. Oh I didn’t even got my cuticles oil. Smh.

Melissa Vinton Been coming here for about 1yr and a half and I love this place! The employees are all so nice and kind. My nails and toes always look amazing. One of the ladies even let me use he phone charger when my phone was dying! Hands down the best nail shop In Killeen.

gesha arringron Worst naiI shop I have been to. Got a new full set 5 of my nails broke off from simple things like grabbing a refrigerator door scratching my back, putting my hand on the steering wheel or the front door handle. I had the nails on for four days. I called the shop to get them replaced, and I was told their policy is that they guarantee their nails for three days. If you can only guarantee for three days that says a lot within itself. Nails should last at least two weeks I’ve even had nails longer than two weeks and have never experienced this issue, I wish Better Business Bureau or someone would investigate this company. I paid $180 and yes, they did include the pedicure. I highly recommend choosing another place to get your nails done, especially if they can only guarantee you that your nails will last for three days. Again that I mentioned this was a new full set, which means every nail on my hand came from their shop. I guess if you’re not leaving a good review, you can’t show pictures. Everyone needs to see this mess.

raychel borja Nail tech was extremely rude and unpleasant, was very rough with my pedicure. Tugging and pulling at my nail with cutters when I expressed pain she said “got to clean it’s dirty” and continued. A few days later I now have puss coming from that same area. I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager, very disappointed and will not be returning.

Saumnya Hart I had to leave Studio nails after the manager laughed after I received the worst service I have ever experienced at a nail salon. But this place is amazing! I have been coming here since October 2024 and am always pleased with the quality of service. They really know how to take care of their customers. From the fresh fruit cups to bottomless glasses of margaritas, this place is a must visit!

Nneka Pilgrim I went here to get my nails done exactly 10 days ago, and pictured is what they currently look like (and I haven’t been doing anything crazy with my hands). As you can see I’m missing two nails because they just popped off, and the others are lifting. I’m extremely disappointed because I paid $90.00 for this, and it’s crazy that for that amount of money my nails lasted 10 days. I called to see if I could at least get the two that popped off fixed and they said that because it’s been over 7 days I’d have to pay. If that’s their policy then fine, but with two nails coming off and the lifting it was clearly just a bad set. I decided to cut my losses and find somewhere else to remove them and get a new set because with the lifting of the others I’m sure they’ll pop off soon as well. I’m giving it two stars because the atmosphere was at good at least, but I won’t be back to get my nails done here again.

Chelsea LaraRangel Amazing experience here. I initially went for a removal and came back for a pedicure because the vibes were immaculate! The lovely lady (Suzie) who did my pedicure should win awards. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing massage and quality pedicure. She surprised me at the end with a short neck and back massage. It was just the cherry on top of the Saturday! Thank you so much Suzie. Lovely place full of lovely people!

• Luhnaye The lady who did my pedicure was great. The older woman who did my gel manicure was horrible. I greeted her when I sat down and that was the last she spoke to me or listened to anything I said. I told her I DID NOT have gel polish on my nails already and that it was regular polish. She used a drill to take it off and I told her I’m sensitive to the drill. After I jerked away a couple of times because she was being so ruff with the drill she ask does it hurt. Like girl duhhhhh! She switched drills then I once again asked her can you just use polish remover to take it off. She said no. And I continued telling her when she was hurting me until she was done. She was pushing hard with that drill. When she cut my cuticles she made me bleed twice!!!! She got even more rude when I asked her to cut my nails down. Rolling her eyes at me. She didn’t even file my nails after clipping them my thumb nail looked like the top of a stop sign. She never ask what length I wanted and I even showed her a pic of short nails. There was no language barrier she was talking to other ppl just not me which I’m okay with but at least listen. When I was finish I was so annoyed with the results but I just wanted to pay and leave as fast as possible. My cuticles where bleeding, gel was put on sloppy, and it is visibly lumpy! I went to pay thinking at least it’s over and I just won’t tip her (making sure to separate the mani pedi charges so the other lady gets the 30% tip) but this lady put me in for a gel take off when I told her multiple times I had regular polish on my nails. I told the manger it was wrong and he believed her. I just left cause I wasn’t about to argue with 3 ppl. I honestly do not recommend, you can have all the fancy things in that salon but invest in better customer service and workers that can do a simple gel manicure. The hand massage at the end was 15 seconds each hand and ruff she pulled each finger like she was trying to pop a knuckle which she did on a couple and rub some lotion. Like lady I could rub some lotion on my hands. If you do decide to go then pick a younger age tech. When I was sitting there doing nothing I was listening to them and they were so much nicer to there clients. Oh my friends were still in the salon when I left and they watched them talk about me as if I was the irritating problem. The photo were taken right after walking out of salon.

sonya steptoe I just moved to the area. Didn’t have a home nail/foot placed. I decided to try out Vivian’s spa and nail bar (Google) and my experience was one to remember. I was greeted with a smile, no waiting, shown to my seat and offered a beverage. My experience ended with a job well done. I never had my feet feel so revived. I definitely will be back.

Sonya Villarreal Erica always does a good job with my pedicures!! I have been coming to Erica for a few years now and always provides great service. She is very thorough, she is gentle and considerate. I have never had any issues. The salon always provides us with water and fruit and even sometimes cookies! Erica always tries to fit me in or tries her best to work with my schedule. I always leave a satisfied customer!

West Debra “Hopps” First time ever coming here and they fit us in same day. This was also my first time getting GEL X nails. Enny did an amazing job on my nails and did a beautiful job on the design for my daughter’s nails! Brian did an awesome job on my daughter’s nails! The people and the atmosphere is wonderful! S Preciado I really enjoy coming here. I’ve been here 3 times so far and each time I’ve had great customer service and amazing nail services too. It’s easy to make appointments. Everyone is nice and professional. I really feel like I can relax when I come here. The salon is clean, they have many polish options and they also offer a couple complimentary drinks. Very laid back atmosphere which I appreciate. I recommend giving this place a try at least once!

Brieann Killin I came for a mani/pedi because their reviews were great. They rushed both services and the gel paint job they applied was terrible quality. Bubbles, flakes of dirt, and applied over cuticle. Will not come here again. Ashamed I actually paid what I did for the poor service. Everything else was fine other than the polish.

Lisa Coleman I took my daughter to get her nails done while me and my 5 year old got pedicures. Now our pedicures were great but the acrylic set my daughter received was horrible. It’s been about a week since getting and everything is horrible. We showed her the design, she took a picture of the design and said she could do it. Very simple just paint and some rhinestones. She did a completely horrible job with both! I do not want a refund or my money back I just wanna share what a waste of money this place was. Her nails were lifting within 24hrs. This was such a horrible experience for her! I will post a picture of what we got versus what we asked for! You judge for yourself!

Serena Villanueva Honestly, the guy who did my nails was very friendly but probably shouldn’t be doing pedicures. I was there for 2.5 hours for just a pedicure. Not what you’re thinking either, I chose the cheapest option but add gel. Well it starts by getting cut by the clippers and bleeding. He then paints my nails pretty sloppy. Then goes in and files it down with the nail drill to clean up all the polish he got on my skin. Messed that up, so went back over it with more nail polish only to mess up again and drill the excess paint off with the drill. Then I guess he gave up and chose to lather them up with cuticle oil to cover up all the mess. I had to come home and remove gel polish from all around the nails. 10/10 would not recommend.

Kerrianne Rolle Updated review:So I cant really complain because my pedicure was amazing!! They took great care of my feet. they were super friendly and I am so grateful to have been pampered and taken well care of. The second time I went there was super recent it was at the end of March 2024. I went for a facial. The facial was really good. My face is starting to clear up a little bit now that it has been a few days. I feel like I got what I wanted for the price I paid. The pictures I added are of there little store per say that they have in there. It was cute and thought it deserved its own pictures

Adele O I used to go to H&M but now that I moved close to Nailicure I decided to try it. The place is clean and neat, the atmosphere is very calm and comfortable, people are nice , nail techs are knowledgeable. The first time I was offered a drink but not the 2 other times. I guess it depend on the nail tech. Its a little pricy but its totally worth it. I dont like getting a pedicure there because Im tall and the pedicure chairs are not comfortable . Ill totally go back for manicures.

V Bates Lola was great! She was personable and truly seemed like she cared about making me happy. She was supportive and even did a cool fire design on my nails! I feel like I finally connected with a nail tech!

Jamaree Johnson They did my moms nails terribly and kept going up on the price. It started at $80 and when it was time to check out it was $100. They are amateurs at best and scammers for sure. They dont appreciate the money we spend in their shops smh.

Sara Mendoza Won’t recommend, I have been coming here about 3 years now, I am sad to say that the service has been declining considerably. Now the nail tech’s are trying to push the gel ($20 extra), when you say no to what they want you to have and instead what you want, they just won’t give you the service and pass you to another tech, if that is not enough they charge you $5 to $10 dollars more than what the service cost. Today I went for a regular pedicure with regular nail polish and as soon as I said no to the recommendation of the $50 one and said no gel, the tech just didn’t work on me. Another tech did my nails, quickly and efficiently. Sadly this tech once charged me for gel after I specifically said no. After doing my pedicure, another tech did my full set white tip. He also said that he would put gel and I told him I want regular clear nails polish. He did my nails with white acrylic, they usually use pink, he didn’t sent me to clean my hands until he put gel and dry them out. I thought that was a new technique. No cream, no oil, my nails have bubbles because of the dust underneath the gel. My husband got the $50 pedicure and I got the $35 nails, tell me how that adds up to $95? They are putting the tip inside the amount, and then expecting more tips. Have your totals at the time of paying, be aware.

ROCHELLLE VAZQUEZ I have been going to Ann’s nails for years. They have put a lot of investment in renovating the place and it really looks nice. You really get the most bang for your buck here as far as pricing goes for a pedicure. It includes a heated neck wrap and paraffin wax! They always have specials going on so be sure to call or sign up for their text reward program!

He thinned them out and and made them look so good. I would definitely recommend.
