Lau U I Love Bonita Nails! Ive been going to this place for a few years now. The staff is very professional. They have a great color collection! I started getting dip powder nails and so far I love it, it claims to supply vitamins to your nails. It lasts about three weeks. I love the fact that I can just sit back and relax. Andy is awesome! His work is clean and perfect every time. Bonita Nails has a beautiful set up, very roomy, modern looking and relaxing.

Lila Blum They do a good job. I came in at 7pm as a walk-in and they stayed late for me. HOWEVER, I feel a little swindled. I asked for a full set with a manicure because my cuticles were in bad shape. I only received full set service but they still charged me $15 for the manicure that I did not receive.

Hermione Acosta Very respectful and clean nail spa in McAllen. The nail technician that helped me today was very respectful (I believe their name was Justin) and did a good job at explaining every step and even gave me feedback on the nails I had on. Prices are ok but for the customer service, it was worth it.

Laura Soria If I could give this place zero stars, I would! I used to really like this place but it was recently sold out to different owners and they provide horrible service. They are obviously not prepared or ready to run it. I went a couple of days ago to get my shellac removed and changed for a different color. There were 5 ladies there and apparently only one of them was a nail tech. She seemed very young (probably high school age) and you could tell right away that I was probably one of her first clients. I tried to be patient but after 1 hour passed by and she was still trying to remove my shellac, I asked for somebody else to help. I had been smelling the acetone fumes for a long time and she was not even close to done. A lash tech had to step in and attempt to continue the job. A lash tech!!! I should’ve left after so many red flags but I needed my nails done for my sister wedding that night. Anyways, after more than an hour had passed by and they were not even close to taking off the shellac, the lady working on my nails hurt me pretty bad and I started bleeding. I stood up and left! Thankfully they didn’t charge me. Never going there again!! Please stay away from this place! Picture attached.

Mirella Trujillo I stopped here because my nail tech at my usual spot was booked today and I had an early birthday dinner and needed my toes and nails done before my dinner. There were only 2 nail techs here. When I walked in I mentioned I was needing a refill/ shellac and same color on my feet. The man who did my nails did a decent job but cut my nails too short, shorter than where I told him how short I wanted them. When people started to walk in he seemed to rush his work so he can get to the next person that was waiting. When he finished my nails I told him that I wanted to do the same color in my feet, I wasn’t getting a pedi just needed my color changed and nailed cut and filed. He said “can you wait , so I can help the lady that is waiting?” I honestly couldn’t believe he asked me to wait to start another job when what I needed wasn’t done. This place might have some potential if they would staff it properly so that you don’t have to ask people mid job to wait so you can start on someone else. It’s also pretty pricey for what i had done. So unless you have time to wait and the possibly be asked to wait mid work don’t come here.

Daisy Deleon Plz plz I beg you don’t ever come here the manager treated me horribly and yelled at me for being frustrated and I was there since 4 pm till 12 in the night waiting for service they over charged me for there mistake and called the cops on me for not wanting to pay 3 dollars they offered me as a complimentary drink I was told I would pay 120 then they wanted to charge me 138 for not liking my nails

Michelle Williams To be honest it was a great experience but a 35$ up charge is crazy!!!! I was told 75 and I even heard them over talking saying it was gonna be 75 but when I went to pay and leave thinking I’d be paying 85,90 bucks with a good tip. It ended up being $110, for a regular long French tips.

Kayla White Very disappointed with how my nails turned out. I’m not usually one to complain but this was hard to overlook. My nails turned out lumpy, the whole area of some nails wasn’t covered properly, the shaping was awfully done, and overall the staff was unprofessional speaking poorly of each other and their clients as they walked through the door. I wouldn’t recommend coming here despite it being one of the only salons open late on a Sunday. You’ll just have to go spend another $80 to get your nails fixed somewhere else another day. This is not a well equipped salon. There were only 2 women working and a whole lot of clients waiting.

Judith Pavon Honey Bee is a great option for nails, pedicure and manicure. They have promotions and prices are affordable. The girls working here are very nice and friendly. Location is easy to get there. No waiting time to get service. They have many designs to choose from

Genevieve Ridolfo I needed to find a new salon after ownership changed at the salon I had been going to for years. I started researching and followed HB Nails on IG and thought I would give them a try. I made an appointment and when I arrived, my appointment had actually been made for the following day, but Deena had time and graciously took me in. This was my first experience with a dry manicure. She was very gentle and had a very light touch. As you can see from the photos, this is a gel polish over my natural nail, the application was spot on! Im pretty rough with my hands and this gel polish lasted two days shy of the two week mark when I had cracks. But the shine of the gel polish lasted until I took it off. I did experience an issue and the salon management responded very promptly. All staff is made aware of any issues that clients report so that things can be remedied quickly. Total for services was $45 and I left a 20% tip after that. $10 for a "soak off" of previous gel polish and $35 for dry manicure with gel nail polish. I would definitely go again, as Deena is a talented nail technician. I had not one bubble or weird squiggly line. Her application was flawless. Follow them on IG to see staff availability for same day service.

From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional—very professional and attentive. The salon itself was spotless, which made me feel comfortable and confident in the cleanliness of the environment. The staff were friendly and took their time to make sure my nails were perfect. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend it!

Crystal Hinojosa My nail cuticals were not pushed back or cut, and nails were shaped weirdly, for I wanted almond. The service felt rushed. Area station was dirty for tools were not clean before hand. I will not be coming here again. For the price, I assumed a lot more was going to be done.

Celia Regalado I went in here to get a refill which was just an overlayer on my nails. I have never gone to a salon where literally my nails broke. I called her to let her know and she told me I could go in and fix some but I felt like she didnt care. No her daughter is the one that did my nails I dont even think her daughter is licensed. Very upset with the service.

Zeyma Rodriguez Amvil is the absolute best! I hadn’t done a pedicure in a long time due to a toenail fungus, and she did great. She is so clean with her tools and the space she is working in! She was so detailed with my feet, and left them feeling soft! I will definitely be coming back, and recommending family and friends!

Nubia Rubio I started coming to this place about 3 years ago and Ive never looked back. LeAnn does the best set of nails and makes sure you are pleased with them. Michael has a great talent at doing pedicures and my feet always come out looking beautiful. They have the best customer service and always make you feel like you are welcomed. I definitely recommend this place!

Stephanie Garcia I loved my nail tech and the service with her. But the pricing is outrageous in my opinion. $83 for a #2 frenchie is on the higher side $15 extra for “ design “ and $15 for “ cuticle “ is a little too much. Definitely looking for somewhere else more affordable

Wendy Torres This place needs negative star ratings. Worst customer service. They claim to use Afterpay but don’t even know how it works. I ended up paying thru the machine since no one knew how to work anything. The obese receptionist was nothing but rude. Then the actual nails. Wow. I think UCAS might have better techs. I’m left with huge clunky nails that I wish I could cut off. Even my pedicure looks ridiculous. Paid $140 to come out looking like I was used for practice. Not to mention didn’t even get offered a water. This place needs to get better employees. Now I know why they were so empty on a Saturday. AVOID

Joycelyn Washington After suffering from nail salons in this area not having the correct tips or not being able to give me what I ask for, I lucked up and found this wonderful gem. And also the best technician I’ve ever had. Vanessa takes her to get the details right, yet speedy in her process. How she does it, I don’t know but I love it. I tried to challenge her and see if she could do something most said they couldn’t. Not only did she deliver, she continues to deliver every time. Vanessa is nice, kind and professional. Truly a rare find among the vast angry, hurry up and leave techs out there. Do yourself a favor and go to this gorgeous salon with amazing people and beautiful decor. Update: Shortly after this photo was taken, the technician left. I didn’t want anyone else there to do my nails so I followed her.

Brenda Clair I’m not one to complain because I believe everything is a learning experience…. BUT I have to say I am greatly disappointed in the work that was done on me. Went in to the Edinburg location last Friday and today is Thursday, so not even a week and two nails literally have broken in half… I realized a few days after getting them done that the acrylic was filed down to the nail extension and then covered with gel polish, which is probably why I couldn’t tell there was pretty much no acrylic on the nail. I’d gotten these nails for a special occasion but turned out to be not so special when the whole time I’m trying to conceal my hand to prevent from showing the missing nail, mind you I was out of town for this so I couldn’t just drive back to the salon. I’m sorry for this establishment, but I don’t recommend it.

L Ramirez I got a fungus infection on my foot after getting a pedicure done, I called to let them know and see if they were able to remove the shellac for me, and they still charged me 10 dollars to remove. The lady just told me to buy silka, that once she got a fungus also from another salon and that’s what she did. I don’t complain about the money, but if im coming to a salon to get a pedicure, I would at least expect for it to be clean.

Aryanna Olivares Soaked my feet in water for an hour after asking if there was any wait and they said no and sat me down and after an hour I decided to leave they only had 3 people at pedicure station and kept on getting more clients to just soak there feet. Never again waist of my time and water was dirty

nadia ayala I had a very disappointing experience here. I didn’t have an appointment, and they assigned me to an Asian man black hair (may be the owner?) for my pedicure. He was rude, rough, and made me feel like he was making me a favor rather than providing a service. I’ve had much better pedicures elsewhere. The entire experience was uncomfortable, but at least it was over quickly—he finished in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the quality wasn’t great either. I won’t be coming back. The ladies working there might have been a better choice. They look nice and friendly. I came with the intention to also have a manicure, but I decided to leave after paying, leaving 10% tip.

Mendoza Amy “Firmegurl956” It was alright,, I love all the color selection they have, they have different pedi selections also. I got the one for $38 and got charged $43, why?? She was doing everything so fast, I walk alot and my feet tend to get dry, so not all the calluses were taken off.. were very nice and clean, I just think she shouldve taken her time but guess not she was ordering food before I was done..

Clea Garza I had Kelsey and she did the best job on both my full set and my pedicure! I got a regular express pedicure, but I am very ticklish and she noticed and accommodated to that right away. For my full set I asked for a french tip with black instead of white and I can honestly say that this is the best set of nails I’ve ever received! She did exactly what I wanted and was very kind and gentle throughout the whole process! My mom came with me and got a regular mani/pedi as well and they look so amazing as well! 12/10!

huyen phan Elite Nails and Spa is a beautiful shop. Very modern and clean. They recently remodeled and it looks and feels nothing like it was a year ago. It feels elegant and upscale. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

Bri O I love their work. If you show them a pic of what you want they will deliver. I used to go to Sapphire and other places but I always felt rushed and when I came here it was amazing. Ladies are super nice and attentive. Tammy and Abby are great. I highly recommend this place. Stop going to the other places this is the place to be if you want to get amazing service and nails.

Bobbie I always used to love coming here for my pedicures mainly as I’ve been coming for the past two years and Tammy the owner has always been so nice and great to me. Most of the time I will take whoever is available I am not picky. Recently however my experience was quite painful. I had a lady with reddish orange hair very nice to start off with but she is very rough with her pedicures she cut me twice. Once cutting my cuticles and the other with the callus removal she shaved down my skin because she was rubbing so hard I left the salon bleeding. I will not be coming back or if I do I would not recommend her doing your pedicures unless you want to be in pain.

Greenhill Beauty Tammy does an amazing job. She always does my nails exactly how I want them and shaped perfectly. My nails also always last more than a month without chipping or anything. Shes also very kind. Highly recommend coming here and asking for her. Always great service.

Melissa Flores Super clean and the ladies working there are super sweet and do an amazing job love my manicure the lady cut all of the death skin off around my cuticle area and took all of my ingrown nails. Me and my friend got manicure with regular nails Polish instead of Shellac and that I regret because even when it was regular nail polish by the second day it was already peeling off. Again we didnt get Shellac just regular nail polish but the service itself amazing

Rebbecka Ramos Unprofessional business that does not respect customers time. I do not recommend bringing your business here if you value your time at all, they will simply waste it. Despite updating our appointment time, receiving a confirmation, multiple follow up texts and messages- I arrived to my appointment to find the building locked and my nail tech nowhere to be found. It turns out she didn’t check her schedule for two days since the appointment time changed and was not prepared for it. Overall, the business is very unorganized- you will definitely be treated better at other nail salons in the RGV.
