Brandon & Rebekah I’ve contemplated posting these pictures. My heart is so broken. These are my actual nails not acrylic nails. I have gone to Avalon Nails & Spa for years before 2020. This was my second time coming back this year. The first time I came back, my nails were incredible and the person who did them did a very good job. So I decided to go back to the same person and get my nails done. This was the results. I understand that I could go back and let them try to make things right, but my nails hurt so bad and are butchered beyond repair. I gave three stars because they were good before 2020. (The skin condition is eczema, it was not caused by the salon.)

Jenna Wallace Worst "manicure" Ive ever had. First, the girl ripped off my acrylic set rather soaking them, which of course hurt a lot. Then preceded to put new acrylic on top of my nails without buffing them or anything. She didnt treat my cuticles at all and didnt bother even pushing the cuticles back. She didnt have me wash my hands after she buffed the new acrylic, and she didnt even put lotion on my hands. No hand massage either, but they still had the nerve to charge me $45 for the "manicure." The pedicure I got by one of the men was half-assed as well. $140 down the drain, but my mother got treated very well, so she got her $65 worth. I guess they thought she was the one paying, rather than me paying for both of us. Ive heard good things about this place, but after my experience, I will never go back.

kg 123 70 DOLLARS FOR NOTHING!!! I only got my toes painted white at the tip(WITHOUT a base color) and i was charged 70 DOLLARS!!! When i asked why, they said it was gel but i never asked for gel and it wasnt even gel. It was regular polish. AND to add to that they are uneven and the “top coat” was not over the full nail. PLUS, the edges were not fill so it looks chipped. 70 DOLLARS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

Amanda Tingle This was the worst experience Ive had in along time . So my guy sends me and his mom to get our hands done for mothers day . She refused to cut my nails short after I told her 3 times my nails didnt last 24 hrs before the first 2 broke off like we spent well over $100 for the 2 of us . Dont try this place!!!! They just want your money

Alexandra Gallegos i moved to midland from san angelo where i had the best home based nail tech and wasn’t sure where to get my nails done, i tried a few other places before finding DIVA NAILS and didn’t have a good experience but once i came into diva nails i found my nail tech, JOJO the owner is my go to, shes sweet, she does my nails good every time and she is super quick! I even recommend her to my friend and she loved her nails when she went! They also do good pedicures , i overall like diva nails!

Michelle Contreras I won’t speak on Divas Nail Salon as a whole since I’ve only been a few times and it’s not my regular salon, but I have to say that Melissa Cruz, the nail tech, did an incredible job on my nails! The review is solely for the nail tech and not the salon. Before my appointment, I showed her some inspiration pictures and asked if she could recreate a specific nail art design. Not only did she nail the look, but she added her own creative touch, making them even better than the inspiration photos. She took her time and made sure everything was perfect before I left. These are my favorite set of nails and I highly recommend Melissa for your next set of nails!

Danielle Smith I don’t agree with any of the negative reviews. I’ve been coming here off & on for 6 years now. I’ve had almost everyone do my nails and never left unsatisfied. Jojo, Mark, Teddy, Kai and everyone else who works there does amazing at their job. I’m very picky and very particular about my nails. When I need a fix or anything, they are willing to help or explain why they can’t do a certain thing to my nails. My husband and I come here for couple’s pedicure and leave happy too. I get my nails done routinely. And I am probably more difficult because I like designs on my nails, they are patient with me and make sure I like them at the end. I recommend them to anyone who asks about my nails. Try them for yourself before listening to the negative people. Some people just want attention and don’t tell the truth. And for proof, I posted pictures of the nails they’ve done for me ◡̈

Jess Toscano So this review is for a nail tech Melissa at Diva nails and spa. Walked in not knowing what I wanted, yet left with the most beautiful set I’ve ever had. Not to mention she was as sweet as can be. I asked if she can fix where I needed and she was very nice about it. I will definitely be coming back to her. 10/10

Ashleigh Chavez I have to say this place is a must go too! I will not go to another nail salon ever again. I moved here from Massachusetts a little over a year ago and finding a good nail salon that works for me is hard! The prices here can’t be beat nor the quality of their work!! I have very small hands and nails and it’s hard to get the right nails or person to work with me. I told the lady who did my full set (also did my eyebrows) that if she couldn’t do cow print she can do whatever style she would like. Not only did she do the cow print she didn’t make me feel bad for my small hands. She kept telling me how cute and baby like they were which helps my nerves a lot. When she was done she did my eyebrows. Let me tell you I kept telling her she was my person cause she not only did my eyebrows amazingly she shaped them for me. Exactly and I do mean exactly how I wanted my eyebrows done. I’ve been to a few nail salons out here in midland but this one man this one is the only one I’ll be going to from now on. They have a customer for life!!!

Salena James Second time going for pedicure, not satisfied either trip. Poor callus removal and feet are rougher than when I began. Tech was more interested in making lemon aide and lemon tea on my legs than my feet. Now my legs are smooth and my feet are the same.. Do not recommend.

lashone lashone Do not recommend. Both times I’ve been here I was not satisfied. Took forever on a pedicure. Water was cold and I was ignored when I asked for it to be hotter. My toe nails were cut down way too short and the guy couldn’t even keep the paint on my toenail. Took over and hour just to start painting the nails and I got the most basic pedi they offer. Also came here to get my color changed on my nails once and they just slapped pain on top of old paint and charged me like I got a full set. Terrible.

Reianna Day 2 after get the lash extensions from here and they are already falling off. They were done badly. Very cheap feeling after she was done she brushed my lashes with the left over glue so they are very hard and itchy and also very heavy! Will not be coming back.

A R Today was my first time going here at Im new to town. The place was busy, which is a good sign, but I was still seen pretty quickly. Very polite staff. They were super gentle and Ruby dang near put me to sleep with her awesome massage. Love the color and the nice care they took. Will be back!

Ambii Jones I got a pedicure and he was in a rush because it was slowly approaching closing time & instead of doing it correctly and applying the fake nail then powder he created my nails with the fake powder which i went to get fixed cause it was too thick now it broke and i refuse to go a third because if it was just done right it wouldn’t be a problem I got them done Wednesday n they broke Friday . Wasted 72 dollars

Cammie D Very welcoming! I thought I found my new place but not sure just yet. When I left I noticed my powder nails looked dented in some spots. My nails didn’t look good despite the technician getting my almond shape and length as I wanted. The issue was that my nails looked thick and the nail bed was not the natural nail look I requested. Note: I was not told but any shape other than square or round is considered a special shape and they charge extra. Also, not told but it is extra for French tip paint on. I was not aware or would have chosen round and a solid paint color. When I called, they said powder nails were $50. I left paying $75 and it’s just not what I expected. Maybe worth another shot and post edit, if I decide to try again. They did get me right in at about my appointment time with just a few minutes wait time.

B Miller This place is awesome and super nice and clean inside. The lady who did my pedicure was sooo gentle and took her time! My daughter’s nails look amazing too. Check this place out!

Christina Rodriguez My new favorite salon! Took my 15 year old and 5 year old and they can not wait to go back. They did such a great jon on their nails and the environment was so great and welcoming. Will be returning asap!

Melissa Guinn DONT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. They were so rude to my daughter and two nieces. The nail tech slapped her hand repeatedly, raised her voice at her for not being able to understand broken English and sent her out with nails that looked like a joke. She asked for 195 (light blue) and got 95 (purple) instead. She got dipped and her tech sent her out with chipped nails from the get go. Color did not reach the cuticle and the nails were crooked on all three sets. After hearing about their experience, I will never let them return. This visit cost $300, the same price any adult would pay, and all three girls were well behaved the entire visit.

Kelli Martinez don’t even bother coming here. i am beyond disappointed in my nails beyond unsatisfied to say the least. I had dip done they are beyond thick and then i had to ask her to add the shine otherwise they would’ve looked worse. She left dust all over my nails and they are stained as well. Isabel Foster After years of being a loyal customer at this nail salon, Ive made the decision not to return due to a disappointing experience today. Despite their higher prices compared to other salons, Ive continued to patronize and refer them to family and friends, but the quality of service during my recent visit was below par. I had gone in for a manicure and pedicure, but I left feeling upset. When I arrived, my toenails were perfectly square and uniform, but after the pedicure, they looked completely different. Additionally, despite my request, I didnt receive the matte black color I had asked for. The paint job was poor, and the removal of dead skin on my feet was not satisfactory. I was informed that the person who worked on my nails was still in training, which I understand, but I believe that customers should not be part of a trainees learning experience while paying full price. This inconsistency is not new to me; over the years, Ive had hit-and-miss experiences with both pedicures and manicures, unless I specifically request the same person every time.

Tenajha Percy I wanted to love this place but unfortunately it fell short for me. I called ahead to see if I could get an appointment. I walk in and waited for prob 20-25 mins no big deal it’s common.The lady who did my nails finally sat down at the chair and it was almost as if she was in a hurry.she made my acrylics really thick . I asked for this design but I wanted a coffin shape. I didn’t get coffin I got square which I specifically said I didn’t want . As she’s doing my nails she was rough. She skipped the washing of the hands after all the powder was everywhere. All her nail polishes were old and the brushes were messed up and chunky polish. She had gotten hair in 3 of my nails and decided to continue just going over it. I know she saw it cause she was trying to scratch at it at one point with her nails. Still didn’t get it out just put a clear polish over the top of it. The line work is sloppy and not even. The nails aren’t the same comparing from hand to hand . At the end I asked how much and when she said $75 I was floored. Over priced for the quality of work. I spent 2 hours there if not longer. Less then a week later and I’m still very unhappy

Morgan Van Gaal I ended up here on a whim after showing up to my usual nail place an it being closed and wow, am I ever glad that I did. I have been twice so far and both and been the most incredible quality of gel manicure ever. My first one lasted over 5 weeks without even a glimmer of wanting to peel it was just growing out so it was time to change over. The second time - I swear I have never had a better quality of manicure in my life. 100% recommend this place, the staff are so nice and accommodating, and the service was efficient without sacrificing quality. Next to no wait both times. Highly recommend!!

Gonzales Mercedes I wanted them as seen on my screenshot. Got them like this. Not too far off. I still like them. Just a little thick probably because of the dip. Also, I was there waiting a little bit. I was one of the first customers and got seen at 1015ish. Only 1 person opens. So be first or go later. The other two employees vary on when they come in, but they do come in before 1130. Overall it is a clean relaxing nail salon. They also make sure you are comfortable and need anything to drink. Thats a plus.

Cassidy Rose Voake Very rude management did a terrible job DO NOT GO HERE literally looks like a child in my nails and they were all different lengths. When asked to correct the manager threw h the biggest tantrum Im shocked at the lack of customer service and lack of professionalism. HORRIBLE

Fumi Balogun Ive had to wait twice at their door for them to arrive to work. The first time I let it slide because things happen, but the second time was rather annoying because it was over 15 minutes PAST the time they were supposed to be open. And once one person came to open up, the nail tech still was not there and I waited another 15 minutes... half an hour waiting for folks to show up to work. 2nd experience: called a day in advance to make a pedicure appointment for whatever time was best for the nail tech (it took three calls to get someone to answer). I show up the next day and the scheduled nail tech is halfway through an intensive massage and pedicure for another customer. They had me soaking my feet in water for over 20 minutes with no nail tech and still not knowing when Id have my pedicure started.

Rachel Rachel Loved my experience here today for both a pedicure and manicure. Start to finish took only an hour for both and she was efficient, very accurate, and fast! Nice place and the lady was so friendly and personable! I’ll be going back .

Ive been coming here since June now and I just love how friendly everyone is, the environment is so welcoming, nice, clean, and my nails ALWAYS come out great! Beyond my expectations. I come in with nail inspo every time and they always do it to the T or better. If I dont like something done they will fix it gracefully! No rudeness or attitudes. Like Ive experienced before in other nail salons. Staff is attentive, caring, and respectful. Go in to see Angel, Bill, really any of the staff they are all great!

The staff takes their time to ensure everything is perfect, and I never feel rushed, even during busy times. I always bring nail inspiration photos, and they consistently replicate them beautifully—often exceeding my expectations! Despite my love for long nails adorned with gems and 3D art, they work efficiently without compromising quality. Their prices are very reasonable, making it accessible to everyone. I also get my eyebrows waxed here, and they always come out perfectly shaped and even, never overdone. The team is incredibly kind, and I’ve been a loyal customer for years.

Dash Hutt I just went there Wednesday with my best friend and I was so impressed! I believe my nail technician was Anna and she was so kind and worked so fast! All of my nails are perfectly shaped and I’ve never been happier with a set of nails before. I had 2 designs that I wanted and she communicated that she didn’t know how to do a certain style so instead we went with my second choice, however I was not disappointed in the slightest. Im also not a talkative person and never really have been when it comes to small talk at nail salons but I really enjoyed her company! I cannot recommend this place enough and I will be coming back here any time I want my nails done! :) ( I included what my nails looked like and the reference photo of what I wanted)

Helen Van I have tried a bunch of nail salons in since I moved to midland two years ago, and I never go back because they always chip or the workers are not nice. But when I heard recommended this place, I absolutely like it. The worker are very friendly and take time to do my nail. They also gave me the recommendation that work best for my nail condition. What kind of service is this? I regret spending my money here and would never come back. This man deserved 0 tip and thats exactly what he got from me! No wonder the place was empty. From the minute I walked in and saw noone I should have gotten the memo. Its either u change your staff or close down because the rate yall going, its heading in that direction. Sorry to say! Meghan Minguela I was more satisfied with the prices. Pedi was nice. Manicure wasnt so happy. I love their designs on their fake nails. He didnt cut my cuticles -he cut me twice with his gold tool! I asked him to cut my cuticle, and it didnt work. I ended up pulling it off when I left! He didnt even put both my hands together to see if they are even with each other. Very rough while filing my nails. If, I come back I dont want him. He sighed every time -as if he couldnt wait to get finished!

I had a doc apt. and they had 2 people work on me just to get me out on time! Much cheaper then other places around here. Love it love it love it!!!!

Pamela Lookabaugh Kelly and Kevin own this business. They are so friendly and accommodating. You never feel anything but love when you are there. Tina gives the best pedicures. Her foot massages are great! Joe is the creative one! He can do just about anything. He is meticulous and a perfectionist.

Suenitos Microschool I typically wait until I’ve had at least six visits before leaving a review for a nail salon, as it’s rare to have consistently positive experiences at the same place. However, this salon has been consistently excellent each time I’ve gone. It’s conveniently located near my home, and I’m happy to have found a place I love. My only suggestion would be to space clients out more during pedicures, as I prefer not to sit directly next to someone when there are plenty of open chairs. Overall, I’m really pleased with the service!

Melissa Matthews I love Allure! Kitty and Minh are the owners and they are so kind and caring. They strive to make all their customers happy. I have always had excellent gel manicures and pedicures there. I won’t go anywhere else. The salon is always clean and they sterilize everything. It is the best salon in Midland!!!

Lillian Ruiz I’ve never ever left a bad review anywhere but this place. I asked my nail tech if my nail tips were even which they were not and then she started talking about the length of my nails beds which i understand. But then got angry at me and then another employee came over and said the same thing! Which i understood and finally told me it will be even when we finish. This made the first nail tech very angry at me. Which led another employee to do my nails if they would have communicated to me when my nails were done they would be even. But getting angry is not acceptable. Then when my mother was deciding her nail color they took the book out of her hand before she was done it was obvious she wasn’t finished she was asking for help very inpatient. Sadly disappointed This was supposed to be a fun experience.

Vickie Murphy I have read the negative reviews and Im glad I did that after I went because I have been to several shops in Midland and have not found a good one yet until now. I was a walk in so I had to wait a while but so glad I did. Kim and her sister where not only so very sweet but do outstanding work. I wont be going anywhere else so worth the wait!!! Tara Clem Probably the worst set of powder nails I have ever had done.. on top of that when I was getting a Pedicure done the girl left in the middle of Pedicure to go wax eyebrows and I sat there for awhile until this man came over to I guess finish what she couldnt do and was to rough with my feet. To pricey for poor work.

Tomilyn DeLong First of all I never complain.. I dont like to hurt a business.. But the only pro of going to this nail salon that I experienced was the people are very nice.. I spent over an hour waiting to get my nails done when they only had 2 other people in there. Whatever, I wasnt in a rush so that didnt bother me. But then it took 2 hours to get a gel manicure that usually takes 30-45 minutes. I only get a solid color. No crazy extensions. Simple. He used old used nail files on me. He cut my finger tips and under my nails with the file. I mean its under and around every single nail. Im on 4 days and my fingers/nails still are hurting me a lot. I got home from the nail salon that day and my thumb polish already started peeling off 2 hours later.. By the end of the day I had 3 peeling off. They peeled off in one whole solid piece. On day 3 I had 4 that have completely peeled off and 2 more that are wanting to.. He made the nails so thick. Id say about 3 millimeters. The underneath of my nails were so coated with acrylic powder, including stuck to my skin that I had to try to scrape it out yesterday because my nails looked so dirty. I am taking it all off myself today and will go somewhere else once the cuts heal. There is no excuse for my nails to be in this shape. Its not a simple mistake. I would 100% understand a mistake. I paid for a job and I shouldve gotten what was expected. Again I hate to complain. So much I didnt even want to write this review. But it needed to be said when I woke up today and saw my messed up nails and I am still hurting. I had to say something.

Sydney Sanchez Not sure where to start lady cut my finger and i kept telling her that the pinky was crooked she didnt listen. Still ended up with a crooked nail, some of the spots dont have acrylic gel on it, it looks like it was done by a 5 year old. Definitely not worth $60.

Literally just walked out of here with my kids and I was so happy they behaved so well as I had to leave and come back with them to finish my manicure (took longer than expected and husband had to leave for work). The nail tech made me feel so uncomfortable about bringing my kids and told me not to bring them next time. If you’re a mom out here you know it’s hard sometimes to find someone to watch them. It was literally just a manicure and shellac which didn’t take long and they all sat through the whole process. My little one wanted her nails done as well but fell asleep as I was getting mine done but as we walked out the door she woke up and we walked back in and he was still by the door and told me no one was available for her and grabbed the door handle and shut it in my face with my kids literally. My little one was crying to the vehicle as we came to get our nails done and they denied her.

Cheyenne McKee I’ve been coming here for almost two years now. It used to be the best place in midland for nails. Recently, it has begun to not hold its reputation. I got this dip set two days ago. Firstly, when the nail tech was beginning, he started cutting my cuticles back so far they began to bleed, he didn’t say anything to me about it and pretended it wasn’t happening. Secondly, they began cracking and chipping the day after I got them! I’m assuming because he didn’t use UV light on them at all. I’m pretty disappointed since I spent $55 on them. I’ve loved this place for a long time but it may be time to find another place for nails.

Joni Garcia Ive come to Luxury Nail spa for a couple of years now. They are all incredibly kind and accommodating. I saw one specific tech for a while and while he was gone for a couple of months, they ensured that I was taken care of during that time. Now, I see any/all techs and always have a good experience as they all take pride in their work. They stay super busy but ensure that their clients are helped as quickly and professionally as they can.

Maria Riello UPDATE!!!! SALON NEVER REACHED OUT TO SAY ANYTHING BUT THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO BLOCK ME ON FACEBOOK BECAUSE I POSTED ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE AS WELL!! THAT ALONE SAYS A-LOT TO ME smh Today was the second time going to this salon and I brought my daughter get a full set of acrylics and I got a builder gel fill in. I made an appointment, but still has to wait 30 minutes which is fine. My daughter and I both got sat. Cindy started on my nails and then pulled out the acrylic powder and I reminded her that I was getting a gel fill in. She then tells me that I have to say builder gel because only a couple people know how to do it. So she gets up and has Tye come over and he takes over. He starts telling me the sam thing and then asks what color I want, so I showed him a picture. He says I should pick the colors so I don’t waste their time. Meanwhile Cindy sits next to us starts doing another customer also getting older gel. There were talking amongst each other and I know they were talking about me. My daughter is a few seats down getting her full set by Teddy. When I was done I went to sort with her and when I saw the. We asked to have them tapered more because they were clubby looking. I could tell she got annoyed. She was very rough on filing and cut my daughter several times on multiple fingers. Meanwhile my other daughter comes and gets a pedicure and her tech rips a big chuck of nail on her big toes and starts bleeding and it’s not stopping. Nothing was ever said to either of my daughters for making them bleed. They acted liked it didn’t happened. They don’t talk to you the whole time you are there to check if you like what they are doing and then when you say something they get annoyed. I was also charged a full set instead of a full in. Needless to say, our hunt for a nail salon in midland continues. Will never go back! Zoom in the pictures to see our results!!
