Jeff Johnson Dr. Goodie is the best. She took time to get to know my daughter personally. She asked questions and listened to her answers. She really gets to know her patient and that being my daughter, it really put me at ease. Very trusting and through. Will definitely recommend her to any young girl or lady.

Mike Carlisle First, we do not like the fact that we have to scheduled an appointment to see a doctor just to have a new prescription written for a medicine that we have been taking for years. We should be able to do that over the phone or have it written for a long period to start with. Its just a way to make you money for an office call. Second, you need to get doctors that speak really good American English instead of Russian. The lady doctor that we saw was extremely hard to understand and thats not good when it comes to our health.

Kevin Yandell My wife Janie is treated by Krystal Miller. She is an exceptional provider. She has excellent "bed side manners" and we would never trade her for any other provider there. Krystal listens and tries to get to the bottom of any issues my wife has. In fact as soon as I get either insurance or Medicare I will also be seeing Mrs Miller. We would both recommend her to anyone looking for a provider.

Ken Hutson I have had a good experience with my doctor Mr. Sam Waddlelston. Maybe I spelled his name wrong, but he will forgive me. He is right most of the time and I believe him. Try him if you need a good doctor.

CoconutKitty Worst office I have ever done business with. Takes WEEKS to fill basic, established prescriptions. Will be looking for care elsewhere.

Glenn Storts Incompetence or Intentional Behavior? It has now been three weeks since I was told by a corporate-level employee that I would be contacted by personnel investigating the incident below … crickets. For those who have a similar experience to that described below, but suffer a negative outcome, consider this as UTHET having been notified that they have a problem (for a second time now, the original was routed to Steven Griffin, D.O. by UTHET Pittsburg). And, that problem recklessly endangered a Level II Trauma patient, either intentionally or through incompetence. The information and opinion below are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and remembrance of the events described. The first paragraph, below, is my original Review of the UTHET Pittsburg ER that was misdirected to one of another UTHET staff by how the hospital system routes reviews. The second and third paragraphs are my response to the UTHET reply and request for additional information with the PCT’s and my wife’s name removed. I brought my wife to the UTHET Pittsburg ER the morning of December 26th after having fallen and hit her head on Christmas. At registration, the intake PCT-Registrar (a former co-worker with a history of animus towards me) was polite but cold towards my wife. After taking my wife’s information, 74 years old, head injury, taking blood thinner, visible facial injuries, stated she was experiencing significant head and neck pain, we were told to take a seat in the lobby. I asked the PCT how long the wait might be; my wife interrupted me and stated again that she was on Xarelto. The PCT ignored my wife, told me that there was no way to know how long the wait might be, and left the Registration area. After about 20-30 minutes, during which time another patient was called to Triage and then called into the ER, my wife’s name was called, and we entered Triage. In Triage, it was immediately obvious that the nursing staff was unaware of my wife’s chief complaints (again, 74 years old, head injury, anti-coagulants, visible facial injuries, head and neck pain and taking a blood thinner … Level II trauma patient criteria), the nursing staff responded appropriate to the situation, C-collar, moved into the back and CTs, etc.. Thankfully my wife suffered no major injuries beyond swelling and bruising, especially after our delayed going to the ER. Kudos (and 5 stars earned) to your nursing, medical and radiology staff. I cannot say the same for Registration. How or why did an experienced Registrar ignore a patient with clearly stated, and even re-stated trauma criteria? I did not note our arrival or other times; EPIC entries should provide the exact time to use when pulling video. Pittsburg still only has the ER Lobby cameras that were present when I worked security there. Concerns over the quality and placement of which was my downfall in employment with UTHET. Our final exchange with PCT [name withheld] occurred at the end of the registration process when I stood to go be seated in the lobby. As we sat down, my wife (a trauma nurse) commented that with her age, head injury and taking a blood thinner, she should be called to Triage within moments and was surprised that the Registrar had not picked up the phone and called back into the ER to inform them before she even finished registration. We stayed in our initial seats until the mother and small child on the phone became unbearable for [name withheld]. We then moved to seats adjacent to Triage near the TV. When [name withheld] was called into Triage, the nurse and nurses assistant (?) immediately responded when my wife told them what was going on. Our impression was that the pertinent details had not been entered or conveyed by the Registrar. As stated in my review, the nursing, medical and radiology staff involved in my wifes care were outstanding (5-star). Thankfully, this was not a life-or-death situation where your Registrars gross failure to communicate pertinent, critical details would have or could have changed the outcome.

Marian Ritchie Trying to make an appointment is a nightmare. When you call you have to deal with someone who is not even at this location. Craziest thing Ive ever heard of. Why should we have to talk to a third party instead of talking directly with the Pittsburg hospital, clinic, and so forth. This stinks!!! You treat us more like a number than a person. Your lack of concern for us to be able to deal with someone on sight is very disheartening. Your gatekeepers are turning us away from actually seeking the help we need. Ill hang up rather than continue to talk to someone who doesnt have any knowledge of what Im talking about. Thanks but no thanks for your way of doing business. All compassion and understanding is thrown out the window when choosing to do business this way.

Scott Brumfield Sliced my finger open and had to go get it stitched up. I arrived and was greeted very politely during shift change and as I sat down to fill out the paperwork they called me back. Before I got seated good in the room the Doctor showed up and determined I needed stitches. I was in an out of there in 30 minutes or less and considering the circumstances it was the best ER visit I have ever had. My place to go when you play stupid games and win stupid prizes. Highly recommend!

Mikah Towler Two of my children (ages 7 & 8) both had a tonsillectomy performed by Dr. Reed a few months apart from one another. I don’t have one single complaint. We were well taken care of at UT Health of Pittsburg. Every staff member, nurse and doctor were very helpful, friendly, patient, & informative during our time there. They took great care of my kids!
