Maureen Dooley Such a great salon. I choose it because they are an Aveda salon and was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and service. I choose the luxury cut with Bronte and I cant wait for my next service. No issues with parking at this location which I love. She carries plenty of product on the shelf so you can take home that day.

Sarah Roach Had the best experience here with Delaney, she’s amazing! 10/10 recommend for any of your hair needs. Delaney is extremely knowledgeable and will always get you right.she installed these hair extensions and couldnt be happier with the outcome.

Posted Up I called salon and spoke with Jolynn she gave me an appt for today at 1:30. Received a text this morning stating she wasn’t feeling well if I could reschedule. I explained to her that I had a function this evening. She text back saying Ok sorry. I asked her if there was anyone else that could do it. She responded not for rude people. I do not feel that anything I said was rude. And explained that to her with no response. Screenshot of the conversation is attached. Very unprofessional there was no reason for that even if she is not feeling well. I have never been there before and after this I will stay clear and will recommend anyone else to do the same. I just received a response from Jolynn regarding my last 2 text seen below in text screenshot she responds “Good” then added a little more. WOW I do not even have a response to that. Unbelievable. UPDATE I received a call from salon owner which apologized deeply…. Then I received an “apology” from Jolynn see below.

kitt basye Jolynn is the best stylist. The other stylist have never done my hair but Ive seen their work and it was great. Everyone is so nice. If you want great hair, this is the place to go

samantha I went to Barbie’s and saw Brittany for a second time. The first time was actually a house call that I made super last minute and she was so flexible and sweet! I loved my hair the first time, so I made a second appointment a few months later. The second time was in the salon, and my experience was amazing! My hair is exactly what I hoped for. She did highlights and toning, and blended my roots PERFECTLY! The way she blended it looks so natural. I’ve been getting my hair done for 7 years by the same person in another city. But I think I’ve officially switched because Brittany did such an amazing job with my hair that was suuuper grown out and brassy. I highly recommend her!!

Laure Missick ***UPDATE*** I wish I could give Kristen and Barbies 6 stars! I dont think I have ever had such a thorough, detailed color work for such a good price. Even got compliments from the husband! I have found my hair place in Boerne. Looking forward to taking my 4 yo for her first trim. First time at Barbies, first time with Kristen. She was great! Despite having no hot water and no power on her side of the wall, she took it in stride and we made it happen. The consult was great. She is an excellent listener, extending her professional opinion without ever making you feel judged. Love the hair cut and the way she styled my hair. Cant wait to go back early next month for my balayage! Highly recommend.

Aura Bair Brittany is an AMAZING hair dresser at barbies salon! I started going to her in 2013 when she was still in school and since then I have followed her to her first salon she worked at and then followed her to barbies and she’s been doing my hair for all this time and I’ve never ever had any issues with it and have always loved it and gotten compliments on it. I always send people her way. You will not regret booking with her!!

Agnes Ageless I made an appointment with whomever was available I got a next day appointment at my time . Randi was very good hair colorist and talented haircut yet but they put services prices on their webpage which the particular hairdressers do not honor . I understand that she might charge different price but if there is no disclosure on the prices for services they should be obliged to adhere to it for the first time . . My service according to the price list was 150 dollars had to pay 230 even required a tip which does not apply for the owners of the chair and at this point I already felt taken advantage off. I do not mind paying specially for a good service provided but that should be disclosed . . Just be aware when you going to new operator you are at her price mercy .AND After the service was rendered. So there is nothing you can do . Having said that - I believe that those are good talented nice stylists .

Gladys Mejia We had 2 makeup artists come in. Kayleigh: 4 1/2 star rating: She was for my daughter since it was her quinceanera, whom she had met with already. She did great in fixing the previous concerns. She would have gotten a 5 but the eyelash strip came off in the corners 1 hr later even after we told her and she added more glue. Marys rating 2 1/2 stars: Mary was scheduled for me. I struggled with Mary a bit and felt our vibes were different. She had asked me if I had any inspo pics and what I wanted when I told her what I wanted she started. Then I was trying to show her my inspo pics and she was dismissive about it and didnt pay attention. I told her I wanted a blue to match my daughters dress and the blue eyeliner was darker than expected. The glitter she put on my eyeshadow was not at all what I said. I said I wanted shimmer not glitter and it was like a rainbow colored. The foundation she added was darker than my skin color. I tried to show her what I bought specifically for the day and she again was very dismissive. My mom decided last minute she wanted her makeup done and she might have felt hurried since I wanted to be at the church by noon but I allowed myself "30 min grace period" and she seemed really rushed when she still had 40 min to do my moms makeup. When she was doing my moms hair, she wasnt listening to my moms request until we had to keep repeating ourselves. even then when she was done my moms do kept moving to the side when my mom said she didnt want it to the side. By 6:00 her bun had shifted. When she initially placed it on her head it was crooked, rather than replacing it she kept moving it over and over. Im not an artist but the best thing to have done would have been to remove it and start over. (It was a fake bun and all she had to do was clip it in place and pin it with bobby pins.) In the end, she was a bit assertive and pushy and rarely made me feel relaxed and easy. I wanted Renee but she will only be available if she is working parties other than that she will hire other artists. FYI. Also, please note I added this same review on Wedding Wire ( I know it was for a quince but it was still for a big event, and makeup and hair were still a service) just to let brides know you will not always get Renee and she disputed and it no longer shows.

Cassidy Drgac Renee truly amazed me with her speed and efficiency on my wedding day. She brought in a second, as our wedding timeline was cutting it close. The second did great hair, and Renee went to town with her airbrush wand. Renees signature is doing full face airbrush, and I felt like she and really delivered on all of the looks that day. We had extra time after HMU was done, which helped me with my nerves and I appreciated the breather before putting on the dress. If you are looking for someone with a lot of experience, efficiency, and a great finished outcome, go with On Location H&MU.

Shelby wagner Renee is outstanding and such a doll! She exceeded my expectations and I found her a month before my wedding. I was so worried I wouldn’t have the best hair and make up on my special day but thank god for my mom finding Renee. My mother in law, mom and bridesmaids were all stunning! The day of was very windy and my make up and hair made it through the evening and up until the next day. If you have any event Renee travels to any location and will have you looking amazing.

ASHLEY YOUNG Renee did an absolutely AMAZING job on the hair and make-up for my recent wedding! She was friendly, talkative, and added so much joy to my big day! My hair was absolutely beautiful and received so many compliments from guests and others! I could not have chosen a better stylist to make us all gorgeous to walk the aisle. Jessica Miller Our first time visiting Trés Bella Salon was a success! I took my daughters ( 8 & 4) for hair cuts and the service Brittany provided was amazing! My oldest needed her hair thinned because it’s really thick and styled and my four year old needed her hair styled. Brittany did exactly as I asked and didn’t take off more than hair than I asked. Bynum Rachael (Superlative Service) I love my new highlight and cut. I had a general idea what I wanted, but Madison asked all the right questions and made it happen. All of this while I had 2 simultaneous work emergencies while she worked on me. Not only did she do a great job on my hair, but she rolled with me having to be on the phone in one way or another at the whole time. Then she encouraged me with kind words and hugs to help me deal with the rough day I was having. Christy, at the front desk was so sweet and nurturing to me as well. I highly recommend the salon and Madison in particular, as a hairstylist and hair colorist

Dennis Ludwick I have been living in "Hair Purgatory" since my stylist moved out of state bouncing from salon to salon. Fortunately, I found Tryst and Rosie. I knew right away she was my new stylist. Many stylists use hair clippers for mens cuts which isnt as good as when done by hand from a talented stylist. Rosie is that talented stylist for sure. She listens to what you are wanting and making any adjustments that you need to achieve the best results. I was so impressed. Im now living in "Hair Heaven" thanks to Rosie. The salon itself is beautiful. Its so open and clean with tasteful modern decor. Friendly staff, no complaints whatsoever.

M B I had taken my son here several times before. Jennifer was really great and the girl after her was great too. I don’t know if the owners changed, but the place has changed. I took my 7 year old to get his haircut on Saturday at 9 am. The stylist showed up at about 9:16. I didn’t mind that really. Life happens. When Avery met us she didn’t say sorry or explain herself, which again is fine. She did ask us how we were doing, so points there. She cut my sons hair and it seemed to be going ok. On a side note the lady cutting hair two chairs down who seemed to be nice to her client began cursing and complaining to herself about the tip after he left. I only include this to demonstrate the toxic environment that seems to permeate here. After most of the cut, the blow dryer didn’t work, so my son spent the next 10 minutes with hair on his face, neck, and ears. Again, not the end of the world. I figured it would wash off after his shampoo. However, it did not. She asked how it was and he left the chair. I looked him over and realized he was covered in hair on his face, neck, and ears. I took him to the front and asked for a Kleenex to wipe him clean. The girl up front asked if I wanted to add a gratuity while I was cleaning hair off his face so I said no. We walked out into sunlight and I looked him over and I’ll just leave photos of what I found. Unfortunately I wiped off 70 percent of the hair before taking a photo. It wasn’t the worst thing ever, but at 35 dollars it was ridiculous how sloppy and apathetic Avery was with her job. I did go back into the shop and asked the girl up front to come look at his haircut and the hair all over his head and face. She refused three times to leave her chair and see it. I explained I wanted her to see it so she could at least inform the boss or manger why we would never come back. She refused a fourth time. I did remark to her that she didn’t seem to care. Which she didn’t. I only used that word because she was so dismissive and rude. I was never mad or upset but really irritated. It seems anyone under about 35 seems to struggle with doing their job or at least appearing to care. I realize both of them are there for a pay check. In the end I wrote this so that a father or mother would at least be aware of how their son might be serviced here. I hope you have a better experience than I did.

Egad Egad I’m convinced that all these high star reviews are bots. This is the absolute worst hair cut I think I’ve ever gotten. I asked for a light trim, literally said “nothing crazy I don’t want a lot off just a clean up” and then this lady decided to almost shave me bald. Now one of my sideburns are horribly patchy and my hair look like it got caught in a wood chipper. It’s completely random and unconnected, I could’ve gotten a better haircut at a dog groomer. Be warned— these people must have hearing loss or amnesia. I’m never returning to this miserable store and I’d advise you to learn from my mistake.

Robert Alaniz THE place for the best haircut experience around! From the second you walk in youre offered a beverage while you wait. I showed up 15 minutes early so I had plenty of time to sip. I was called promptly at my scheduled time. Victoria was awesome! Asked me exactly what I wanted and was able to do it perfectly. Then a wash, hot towel and last bit of styling. Definitely coming back!

Eric Johnson This place is beyond incredible! Greeted with a prompt, warm welcome. Minimal wait time, which flew by thanks to excellent conversation. Anna did an absolutely spectacular job! I honestly cant say what I enjoyed more, the haircut or the conversation. Shes an awesome person to engage with!!! The shampoo and conditioner produce remarkable locks that will incite jealousy to anyone whom you may encounter. Depending on what youre going for in the style department, I can recommend both the Grooming Cream and Sea Salt spray. Highly recommend you give them a shot!!!!!

Go Navy! ****Follow up August 2024**** Had an appointment scheduled for my son and I was called into work (as the owner knows, when duty calls, we respond) and had to miss a scheduled appointment. Asked my wife to call to reschedule. The person on the phone berated her for missing the appointment and told her that a fee would be charged for any future appointments, then canceled our appointment the next day. What once was a fantastic barbershop has lost a pair of customers, for good. I love supporting our local small business, especially veteran owned, however I cannot support a business that treats customers this way.

Jackson LaFeir A one star review was left here about someone’s boyfriend who had a bad experience. I’m the boyfriend, and I tried to detail my experience here but I used up the character limits and wasn’t even halfway through. If that doesn’t tell you how much I have to say about this, then i don’t know what does. As for my girlfriend leaving a review, I had a very bad experience and obviously told her about it. I don’t control what she does at all let alone reviews she leaves lol. She left the review on her own to be supportive, similar to the review left by the husband whose wife was berated. We all need people in our lives that will stick up for us, so i’m grateful for it. Lastly, you responded to her saying that I used the bathroom for fifteen minutes, she wasn’t there and “there’s always the other side to the story.” Mr. owner, you weren’t there either, so how would you know what happened? I also didn’t use the bathroom at all, in fact i’m not even sure where the bathroom is and i’ve been getting my haircut there since it started out as hauptstrasse. Lies and hypocrisy from a marine, really sucks to see.

Quinton Hons Good To Go Barbershop hits the mark for cleanliness, professionalism, exceptional service, and an effortlessly cool atmosphere. Jays been my go-to barber for three cuts now, and each visit has been stellar. Everyone there is extremely professional and talented, and their website makes booking an appointment a breeze. Good To Go Barbershop will be my go to from here on. 5 stars!

I was a monthly client of Teresa’s for over 12 years in Temecula California and never missed my scheduled appointment. I am so excited to have Teresa in Texas now! In all seriousness, don’t postpone scheduling with her! Her clients come to her and are her clients for life! Chad Schatzle I recently moved to Boerne and I am glad to have found Misty Thomas at Hairbenders. She did an excellent job cutting my hair and grey blending. I have received several compliments from friends and family. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her work and is exceptionally thorough.

Mary Urias Misty seemed an amazing individual. I went to get my hair cut straightened out from a previous bad cut. My final cut was not what I envisioned (it was long to now quite a bit shorter)and I’m sure she would’ve continued to cut it where I was super happy but I was concerned it would get even shorter. I believe if I’d had an idea of what I wanted it would’ve helped her rather than just saying it needed to be fixed. Pricing very reasonable.

Jeffery Hof I usually have an amazing experience getting my hair and or beard trimmed, today was a very noticeable change. Marie the owner looked right at me as I was waiting patiently and said absolutely NOTHING, it was as if she stared right through me. She could not even take the time to say, “we will be right with you” … I was so pissed I almost walked out never to return. Especially knowing Marie is the owner of the establishment and she just spent time having a pleasant conversation with a customer. I remained for two reasons I absolutely appreciate the incredible hospitality of both Priscilla and her Mom Annette. They are super conversationalist, very engaging, they make you feel like you are a valued customer. Although I was treated with the utmost disdain by Marie the owner, Priscilla MORE THAN MADE UP FOR THE contempt Marie exuded towards me while I waited. Again Priscilla and Annette are two amazing ladies!!

Pete Calderon I drive in from Kerrville to get my haircut at Snippers in Boerne. Everyone is always nice and respectful and the service is second to none. I consistently get my haircut cut by Marie who is the best and the ultimate professional and ALWAYS provides great service. People can’t believe I drive to Boerne to get my haircut but that’s just how great Marie and her establishment are…I won’t go anywhere else!

Janice Taylor So far, worse experience ever! Two hours before my appointment, they called to let me know that my technician is out of town! Like this was just found out! So they schedule me for the next day only for them to call not even 30 minutes before my appointment when I was leaving my house to tell me theyve got to move it because somebodys running late and added on some extra add-ons and had to move me from my 10 oclock to 1 oclock! This is unacceptable. I will go elsewhere.

Karla Todd The young lady that did my waxing was great, she was professional and apologetic for the atmosphere. I’m new to the area, I called for directions and the receptionist had no clue, she acted as though I was an idiot for even asking, condescending. I later found out she is a high school student and a relative of the owner. This is fine but she should have asked someone else to assist me. On top oh that she was rude and disrespectful when I arrived. Ok she’s a kid I understand. But this is a business. There was children in the spa, employees kids from what I understand. I guess no daycare being it was Thanksgiving week. They were running in the hall, screaming and playing. That’s what kids do, no problem but not at a spa, not where people are trying to relax and enjoy a facial Or massage. I did speak to the owner, I hate leaving bad reviews. She is a sweet young lady but she totally disregard my concerns, stated the receptionist is very young and the “ kindest human ever”. ( it’s her family of course she’s going to say that). She is a young high school girl, instead of making excuses teach her people skills, teach her phone skills, she’ll need them in life. Regarding the kids running around the spa, she simply stated “ we are a mom and pops business and do the best we can”. Unfortunately people don’t have daycare to watch their kids, maybe make extra room for the kids to stay in, or reschedule appointments, sad but it is the way it is. This young owner is doing the best she can but needs to take in account people go to her spa to relax. Not get stressed out. Sorry won’t be back.

Rebecca I went here for a cut, took hours for a simple hair cut. And the stylist smelled of a horrible mixture of smoke and way to much perfume. It was nauseating. Not to mention she took her sweet time on a barely passable haircut. Will never go back and definitely dont recommend.
