Brittany Brothers Nannette Bishop has been doing mine and my families hair for years and I would not go to anyone else! She listens to what we want and is very concerned with making sure we are happy with her work, which we always are. She is very flexible and patient with working with our schedules and needs. Her space is very clean and well decorated and her prices are very affordable. I suggest her to EVERYONE I know and I know without a doubt they will be glad they saw her. She really does "beautify the world, one client at a time"!

Abigail Black Nannette is awesome! She is easily the most thorough and detail-oriented hair stylist I have EVER been to. Ill never go anywhere else again.

Danielle McCane 10/10 highly recommend!!! It was my first time going to her as well as my first time getting full highlights, and she did not disappoint! My hair could not look any better, all around amazing job. Not to mention she is super friendly, and tells you exactly how to take care of your care afterwards!

Emily Huerta I genuinely hate leaving bad reviews. I recently visited this salon with the intention of achieving a brown balayage. The stylist Maribel, informed me that it might take multiple sessions to reach my desired brown shade, which I understood. She dyed my hair a solid color then followed by lightning my hair to do the balyage effect. However, I was surprised to leave with blonde highlights, which was not what l requested. I had specifically asked for a test strand, particularly because my hair has been previously processed, to ensure it could handle the bleaching process. Although the stylist initially agreed, she later declined to perform the test, stating she was confident in the outcome. This decision ultimately led to my dissatisfaction with the final result. While the "balayage"looks okay when styled, it looks horrible when straightened. After washing my hair for the first time, I noticed significant stretch and breakage, my hair feels like it has been burnt which could have potentially been avoided with a test strand. Given the salons high prices and positive reviews, l expected a more satisfactory experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling let down,both with the outcome and the condition of my hair. I paid $420 and as a college student it is not easy making the money back or going somewhere else to fix it when I already spent so much money. UPDATE: I went back cause according to her she was going to tone my hair brown from blonde she didnt accept she didnt do what l asked for and she made my hair black with red tones when I initially also paid for her to remove the red tones and I paid 420 just for it to be black. I noticed she left the toner on for so long which is probably why this happened this isnt even a balayage. Once I asked if what she used would eventually come off cause (after spending so much money for no change) its ridiculous and I never got a text back. I feel like if she feels annoyed its just a lot of unprofessionalism on her part. She states she never used black on my hair yet it looks black. Not only that I initially booked the retonement of hair a certain date and she rebooked me a few days and when I went on the rebooked date she took 30 minutes to get to me despite me telling her before that I was okay with moving the date back. She booked me in between a client which probably distracted her. It has been 3 months and the “toner” she put on my hair has not came off my hair is still black.

Mariah Abernathy I have been seeing Mikenzi since I moved to the area. I get extensions and blonde highlights. She always does an amazing job, I get compliments on my hair all the time!

Margaret Murphy Absolute love Hayleigh for cut and color! Gets my copper-red absolutely beautiful with a finish of dimensionality and shine. (See pictures) Also, Carson is your girl for a stunning updo! I wanted something ethereal with a half updo with curls using a necklace (I know, no combs and heavier than most decorative hair pieces) draped in and around the back. She delivered!(see pictures)

Rhiannon Harber Kippin is an absolute artist! The goal was jet black underneath and an icy platinum at the top (Complete Color ((WPT)) + Cut). This was an excellent experience, as I was comfortable the whole time. Kippin is a super friendly character and professional. I honestly did not know that my hair could even do this until going to Davanti Salon. Worth every penny! They’ve earned a client for life

Namratha Thalatoti I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Flo, and I couldnt be more impressed with the experience. As an introvert, I often find it difficult to communicate exactly what I want, but Flo made the entire process effortless. She truly took the time to listen and understand my preferences, and it was clear from the start that she was dedicated to achieving the look I was hoping for. Throughout the appointment, she explained each step of the process and the products she was using, which made me feel more informed and comfortable. Her attention to detail and professionalism were exceptional. My hair turned out fabulous, and I couldnt be happier with the result. I highly recommend Flo to anyone looking for a talented and thoughtful stylist. She went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the cut, and Id rate her a solid 100/10!

Tejashwini Reddy My hair started getting frizzy recently, so I researched salons and found one with good reviews. I visited and was suggested a moisture treatment. The website showed a price, and I was initially told the same, but when I went for the treatment, the price was increased. I still went ahead with it, as they said it would last 4-6 weeks. However, just after 4 days, my hair went back to being frizzy. Additionally, I lost a lot of volume during this process, which was disappointing since I initially had good volume. I don’t understand why they charged so much for what felt like just an oil treatment that didn’t even last. It was a disappointing experience.

Victoria Lopez I would typically rate this experience lower, but I feel it’s important to acknowledge a few positive aspects. I initially chose this salon based on a recommendation from a friend, and I was pleased with the haircuts I received. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made the overall atmosphere pleasant. However, my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed, and I no longer feel confident in trusting this salon for future services. I scheduled a consultation with Floh for blonde highlights. During this consultation, she explained that a test strand would be done to assess how my hair would respond to the coloring process, with an estimated wait time of 30 minutes. After she did the test strand, I was told to return later. When I came back, I was told that the test strand had not “lifted” or changed color at all, and that highlights would not be possible for at least six months to a year due to the condition of my hair. Floh’s exact words were, "It didnt lift or change color at all, not even a little bit." At the time, I trusted her professional judgment, especially since I have limited knowledge of hair care and coloring. I had previously used box dye a few months ago, so I thought this response seemed normal. However, I later visited an Ulta store, where a stylist was able to lift my hair with ease, achieving the desired results within minutes. This left me feeling misled, and I was disheartened by the fact that I had been told to wait months for a process that could have been done much sooner. To provide clarity, I have attached photos and videos showing my hair before the consultation, the inspiration pictures I provided, the test strand process, the lifting procedure, and the final result. As demonstrated, my hair indeed lifted as expected, and there was no damage or breakage. Unfortunately, this experience has eroded my trust in both the salon and the stylist. Given the misleading advice and the time I wasted, I will not be returning for any future services. While I did appreciate the previous haircuts, the overall experience with this consultation was far from satisfactory. I hope my review can provide valuable insight for others seeking hair services at this establishment.

Brittney Crathers-Burgess I have been to Shannon twice and have had nothing but pleasant experiences with her. She is professional, timely, gentle with my hair, and most importantly, very talented with caring for and styling natural hair. I have thick and long hair. She did an amazing job on my two strand twists and executed my crown braids on another occasion beautifully! The owner and staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is also very welcoming and chill. I looking forward to my next appointment!

Vanessa Ellison The Curl Suite is amazing! I’ve been a loyal customer for years. All of the stylist are well trained and knowledgeable on different hair textures and techniques. The shop has a beautiful calming energy and the staff is helpful and kind. My locs are always well cared for and the quality of Amber’s work is impeccable.

Kelley Owen This salon has a very special vibe to it! I brought my daughter and we felt very welcomed by Davina and she really made an effort to talk to us and make us feel comfortable for our first visit. Janella was our amazing stylist. She was gentle, kind, and made us feel special inside and out. My daughters box braids look amazing - she is so talented. The salon was clean and the atmosphere friendly. Will definitely be going back!

Tabitha McBeth Amber is amazing! She’s the owner at Curl Suite and I won’t let anyone else touch my hair. She is very fast, gets me in and out. She’s been doing mine and my son’s locs for over a year now! If you have locs and need a retwist go see Amber. Call ahead she gets very busy!

Victoria Patterson Took my daughter here who is very tender headed, has very kinky coily curls, her hair knots up so easily.she had alot of dead hair also that we cut off. We came for a silk press. The environment is very professional, friendly, and home like. Everybody is so respectful and nice. They helped explain some techniques to help manage my daughters hair and just things that will help it not be so rough on her. At the end my daughter was very happy with her hair. She definitely is excited for the next visit! Thanks again to everybody there!

Marcy Babcox The stylist I had spent all her time talking about how little money she made even tho she also went to school for her craft. It happened every visit and I got tired of it —- figuring she makes at least 10 times what I do!

Sandy Matsinger I had not been there before so was confused where to enter. Ah....walk around back which is easy to see if you park a car, I use DCTA Access bus. The inside is just adorable with almost private rooms for the stylists to do their magic. Theres good energy there.

Kindle Alexander Seriously a great place. They have a way of being utterly professional yet genuine and warm and friendly. Im new to the salon, I drove about an hour to get here and it was worth every mile. Debi is perfect. She has set a standard and it works well. I went to Melinda today. So so good. She inspired me to write this review while sitting in the parking lot before I leave. Really a good experience.

Brooke D Debi Do’s is such a warm and welcoming salon atmosphere. I’ve been going here for many years, and can testify that the salon is always clean and nicely decorated for each season, and is filled with smiling faces. Amy has been doing my hair for the past 4 or so years and has been nothing short of a blessing to me. Such a wonderful person and talented artist. If you’re looking for someone to do your blonde, look no further—seriously. I have gotten compliments on my hair color nearly every time I go out since Amy has been my stylist. She is an honest, humble person and her prices are very reasonable. If you want great hair provided by a great person, go see Amy.

When I found her it was the best thing that ever happened to me since I was looking for a person that would take care of my hair just as she does and it took me so long to. My hair is difficult - but its no challenge for him. I dont need the wine and all of the other fluff that some other places dish out...I just want to be happy with my hair. I highly recommend Michael Lindley if you want your hair to look great.

Jasmine Kittyle I just moved to Texas and found Gracie to do my hair. She’s so personable and easy to talk with! I had a great time when I went to get my hair done. One of the best experiences I’ve had when going to a salon. My hair felt very soft and healthy even though we bleached it. She really makes sure that you leave with beautiful hair. mallory crisp I am a regular of Gracie’s and followed her here from her previous salon! She is always so friendly and kind to me and I cannot recommend her enough. She listens to what you want and always does a fantastic job. I leave feeling great and everyone always has nothing but compliments about my hair. I used to be terrified of professional hair stylists due to horrible experiences before and Gracie was the first person I trusted besides my husband to touch my hair in 2+ years. I wanted a stylist who wouldn’t make me feel uncomfortable, who would respect me as a person and my pronouns, and be open to what I wanted to do with my hair. I used to have panic attacks after going to the hairdresser and never thought I would step foot in one again. Gracie has repaired not only my actual hair but my relationship with my hair, and trusting professionals with it. The shop is also beautiful and all the other staff I have met have been very kind as well! I live in Plano so it’s quite a drive, but I do it every time because it’s so worth it! Cannot recommend her enough.

elizabeth gracie did an amazing job taking my hair from box dye red to a beautiful ashy blond in one session! not only is she amazing at what she does, she’s friendly and fun to talk to! i’ll never use anyone else for my hair again, it’s absolutely gorgeous and, most importantly, healthy!

Hannah Penney Gracie is the best stylist I’ve ever had. Ive been seeing her for almost a year and followed her here from another salon. Denton is a drive from me but, it’s so worth it to see her. Super kind, funny, and friendly! She’s very personable and always makes good conversation but, is also totally cool if you want a quiet appointment. After using box dye and bleaching my hair on my own, she’s really helped my hair look and feel healthier. She does an amazing job on color, cuts, blowouts, etc. No job is too big for Gracie and she’ll do whatever she can to get you the look you want without all the damage. Highly recommend this business as well as Gracie!

She listed to exactly what I wanted and frankly did come close to my expectations at all, she surpassed them completely. She kept my hair long, healthy, and dyed it the prettiest of colors. She’s so creative and lovely and over the experience was so much better than any other one I’ve had. I’ve gone through MANY disappointments with hair salons and stylists, and I was desperate to find someone I actually liked. Robin Smith I highly recommend Holly!! I have been all over the world and found a few stylists that are excellent...but only a few. Holly is one of those! She is also amazing at color. I gave her a challenge. I told her I never wanted to see grow out because with my job I never knew when I would be back. She did It! She custom mixed for me, last July I believe, correcting something someone elsewhere had done. I still have no roots or grow out line. I may not color often but the fact that she could do that makes me know she is as good with that as she is with cutting.

Kassie I had my first appointment at Headrush today and I absolutely love this salon! Ive been to several other "high end" salons in Denton and this is by far the best experience I have had at any of them. I have curly hair which is sometimes difficult, but Holly did a great job! She cut about 8-10 inches off and gave me exactly the style I was looking for. I will be returning to this salon in the future!

Rabekka Smith Everyone is friendly and helpful here and Caleb did an amazing job on my hair. I went in with a basic idea of what I wanted and he was able to give me several options. I got a much needed trim, he added layers, and did perfect color. A higher end salon means you will pay a little more but the quality shows here. Will be back for sure!

Sweetart Hikes Ive been going to Headrush for at least 5 years. Ive only had Kylie cut/style my hair, and she is amazing! The rest of the staff Ive been in contact with are all super nice, and the salon is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Kristy Butler I had an older lady doing my hair, she dyed and cut it. It was fine until she started cutting my hair. We had a good conversation and when it got to the cut she stated she was going to "fix" my bangs and she cut them too fast for me to say anything. I have bangs on the left side of my face and she cut them all the way across my head. I still gave her a tip because she did good on the color but I cried when I got to my car, she ruined my hair. Im just lucky my hair grows fast or I would be looking awful for months... thank goodness for bobby pins...

Dulce Dragon I wouldnt trust my hair with anyone else. Hair dyes, perms, blowouts Ive had it all and always gives good advice on how to keep it healthy with top brand products she carries for reasonable prices. My boyfriend has also never been more pleased than after getting his hair cut with her.

Kakao I got a full service curly hair cut here and it was AMAZING. My stylist Jaiden came down like a holy ray of light and gave me the most amazing cut I’ve ever had for a super affordable price too. A gazillion stars out of five I love this place.

cristina spellings do NOT go here. and do NOT book with MACIE. i went for the simplest thing in the book, a bleach and tone. which despite having medium brown hair, ive gotten several times before without issue. i also needed color correction in a few spots because i had some left over pink dye from months ago. not only did the hair colorist misunderstand me and did not retouch up my roots (which is fine, i understand we are human and i figured it was a simple misunderstanding) but she left spots of pink still in my hair. and, there were new blue spots from the purple shampoo she didn’t wash out entirely. when i explained to her that i did not receive what i wanted, she gladly booked me for the next day to fix it free of charge. i paid $300. i did not tip, and figured i would tip once i received the service i paid for. while i was home and able to get a closer look at my hair, i noticed that the tone was WILDLY uneven. there were five different shades of blonde in my hair, splotchy uneven patches, and my roots were orange. it was much worse than i figured in the store. the next day i came with my critiques hoping to leave with a hairstyle i was not embarrassed to wear around. she assured me that all my worries would be solved. spoiler alert— they were NOT. I left the salon with bleach still on my ears and neck, that she did not wash off. several patches of my roots weren’t bleached at all. i have rings in my hair and brown spots throughout. somehow, she ended up making it worse. i also came for a cut and unfortunately i let the same woman cut my hair. the layers i wanted were uneven and choppy and when i asked her to blend a certain section more, she started cutting on the OPPOSITE SIDE of my head. when it was over i was frustrated, disappointed, and embarrassed with my hair. i decided not to tip and as i was going to leave, the manager called me over claiming he was going to charge me for “products” used that day.

Kara Wright I had the best salon experience I’ve ever had here. My styler, Ireland Reynolds did an amazing job listening to what I wanted and helping me achieve my hair goals! I left the salon with my hair feeling healthier than ever and looking super cool! The environment is welcoming and so fun! 10/10 I totally recommend

Diana Peñuela The girl who cut my hair was sweet, but so much of my hair was chopped… my hair was down to my lower back so I wanted to give it some shape and cut up to my breast area… the bangs were cut too much on the side that they stick up.. I tried so hard to like it and style it but I can’t. I for sure won’t be back. The pictures below are what I showed and asked for, and what I have now.

Erin Sharp I went to Tried and True about a year ago and loved it, so I recommended it to my boyfriend who has been to NUMEROUS barbers and has never left happy. He has curly thick hair that no barber has ever been able to handle. We went to Tanner, and my boyfriend’s hair has never looked better. This is the first time I have ever seen him leave happy after a haircut. Tanner listened to all of our concerns, and recommended a style and products. He did absolutely wonderful on my boyfriend’s hair and is the only stylist we will ever go to from now on. Thank you so much Tanner! We are so grateful!

Molly Gustin I had Ella as my hair stylist. I was clear about what I wanted, and I showed example photos. My hair didn’t turn out anything like what I had showed her. I said 3 inches, and I showed her what I thought 3 inches looks like. I also said long layers that don’t need styling. I didn’t get any of that. My short layers are choppy and blunt. I have no idea how to style this.

Lauren Felkins Highly recommend Anna!! With being blonde and getting highlights I’m always afraid of trying a new stylist but Anna made me feel comfortable right away! She listened to what I wanted, asked questions and then made her professional recommendations. She mentioned numerous times that she cared not only about how I looked when I left the salon but also how I looked during the grow out process in between appointments. She has attention to detail and to me, that’s huge! Her foils were tight and neat, to the root! She’s organized and knows her stuff! Very friendly and fun to talk to! The color and cut came out perfect! Already booked my next appointment and looking forward to going back. Salon is very cute!

Sandy Deal I was in town for a wedding and needed a blow out. Salon NV answered my call and got me booked for the very next day. The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable. Billie was my stylist and she was amazing! She knew exactly what to do with my hair to make me look and feel amazing and even recommended a few products to keep me looking fabulous in the Texas heat. I really appreciated the vibe of the salon, along with the travel sized options for products. Go to Salon NV! You won’t be disappointed!

Bailey Richardson I had been here once before to get a bad hair coloring fixed and I had a wonderful experience so I decided to come back. I came in with pretty light hair and was wanting to go dark brown and get my bangs trimmed, as well. I showed my stylist what I wanted and we looked at hair swatches together. I even told her (twice) that if she had any suggestions for the cut and color, to please tell me because I figured she knows more about coloring than I do. After the dye was finished, I was concerned it looked too dark. Maybe the colors I showed her and what she put on my hair were the same, but to me it just looks black. I expressed to her that I didn’t know if I liked it and she told me we could attempt to fix it then and there, but recommended I go home and wash it and if I still didn’t like it after a couple of days to call the salon and they could see me again, and because my hair was so light the color would sit heavier on it (and maybe that’s common sense to some but I don’t color hair professionally, so maybe this comment would have been useful ~before~ my service, not after, when I gave her opportunities to express her suggestions/concerns). Flash forward three days and 6 shampoos later, I still don’t like the color, so much so that I’ve already tried a color remover, so I call the salon. They said they couldn’t get me in because it was too busy this close to the holidays (which I can understand), and that my stylist ~actually~ said to give it a few weeks (even though I told her I had family Christmas pictures in a week). They said “the reality of the business is that you may not get what ask for,” which I guess I can understand, but when I spend 200+ (including tip, which I now regret), I would like to get pretty darn close to what I want. All this to say, I wouldn’t be leaving such a bad review if the stylist had been upfront with me about me not being able to come back to get it fixed in time, and if she had communicated better with me before my service.

Sandra Davalos Lisa gave me such an AMAZING hair cut!! I was struggling finding a hair stylist for months since I am pretty picky! I am so glad I went with my intuition!! Her hair cutting skills are top notch and are as best as they get.
