Marilyn Van Leuvan I showed Susie a photo of a hairdo I liked. She listened to what I wanted and did a great job. When my husband saw it he gushed about how much he liked it (which is something he never does). He has made quite a few comments on how good it looked since. It makes me even happier with it. Marissa Stanfill I have refrained from leaving a negative review for Luxe for several months, but after today I decided that it is time to share my experience. My first visit was very pleasant with the exception of an extremely overpriced color appointment and ending with a color that I didn’t ask for. This has happened to me before though and I have never had any issues at previous salons booking an additional appointment the next week to adjust the color after living in it for a day or two. This is what I did after the copper brown that I requested came out vibrant purple/maroon in the sun. When I came to my follow up appointment, my stylist completely changed her attitude and was extremely rude to me and kept making comments such as “well this is what you asked for” and “so you didn’t actually want that then?” Even though it clearly was much more vibrant than what I’d asked for. I had no problems getting it adjusted, but the rude comments to clearly get what I had originally asked for when I spent $300 on a cut and color were completely unnecessary. I decided to just not return after that. This week, a new stylist at the salon called me and offered me “a free cut with color.” To which I said well yeah sounds great. Well of course when I show up, it was a free cut with color PURCHASE. This could have very well been a misunderstanding, but I swear the word “purchase” was never mentioned to me on the phone, which I think was either a bit predatory or a big error in communication on the salon’s fault. But no big deal, we decided on an all over gloss that would be cost effective for me. I asked for a gloss to match my root/natural color. It turned out way darker than what I asked for by several shades to the point where it’s almost black seen in the attached photos. The lighter is my 100% natural color and the darker is obviously what was just done at Luxe. The stylist proceeds to tell me that this is in fact my natural color and I’m just not in good lighting. The entire appointment consisted of what felt to me like gaslighting and honestly several backhanded comments. I just think this salon is way overpriced to be consistently dealt an attitude about my own hair and body that I live in every single day and I know best. Go somewhere else. I’m 31 years old and have had incredible stylists in the past that I don’t mind dealing out a bit more money for, but this place is not worth it. I’m tired of being gaslit by the stylists and having to argue my point to get what I want.

Faith Atkins - Meyer What a lovely salon with exceptional talent. Had a blowout with another hairdresser I had not used before, Monica! From the shampoo to her designing my blowout…she took her time and really cared! Walking out of the salon I felt like a million dollars. Compliments came my way all day. Thank you Monica. You are the best!

Love Love The photo you see with the black shirt on, that’s how nice my hair was, very blended and toned. I came here specifically wanted pop of color, blonde. I didn’t get that, instead my hair is brassy and ruined. I have had my hair professionally serviced and fixed this whole time & was hoping I would get some partial highlights that I actually wanted. Instead they quoted me to almost $400 because they insisted I needed more color used. I am okay with hair conditioner treatment but not with what was done to my hair. They use poor color or not good brand because you’re turning peoples hair red and brassy. This is not acceptable. I had dark hair with no issues with undertones at all. It’s a shame how much they’re charging for service they do not provide. I don’t know what two colors where used bc you completely ruined my hair now. Now I have to go and spend extra to fix this orange and brassy color out of my hair. They do not use good quality because there is no way my hair would have caused a brassy / orange tone. It’s literally what they use. Also, there were less then 10 foils and they charge you over $200. This is not right, I saw no new difference in my hair. The last photo in the black shirt is what my hair looked like before I came. Very well balanced, good base, and tone. Now it’s all yellowish and orange/brassy. Completely ruined. In light or with flash if I take a photo, it should not be orange like that!!

Teresa Pham I loved my haircut from Jesse! :) I heard of Jesse from two guy friends of mine who highly recommended him (for being “super cool and chill”) but I was a little unsure with it being for my long hair (I’ve always gone to women for my haircuts). But he was so great - definitely gave me what I was looking for in terms of my hair, and on top of that he’s got tons of hair advice if you ask him and is just all around very easy to talk to. Would definitely come back and recommend him for all hair!

Le Can My wife and I made an appointment with Jesse for the first time after reading the reviews on Google. We had been going to Pika Pika for several years until Ms Young is no longer there. Unfortunately, we were almost half an hour late but Jesse still took us in, and he didn’t seem upset whatsoever. I am happy to say that we have found a new hair stylist that we’re both very happy with. I can honestly say that, to my surprised Jesse was even better than Ms Young. My wife said Jesse took 30 minutes cutting my hair and she was also very happy with how her hair turned out. Jesse cut it as my wife asked and he even suggested how to style it. We absolutely Love Jesse!!

Yun Kim My boys, 8 & 11, had their haircuts by Jesse and they love it. We’ve been to few hair salons but this was their best. Jesse and his mom are also very kind and nice. Especially for boys, highly recommend.

Ricky Roque I’ve been coming here to get my haircuts from Jay for several years now. Finding a great stylist who truly cares about his customers and takes pride in his craft is extremely difficult, which is why even after moving out of the city, I still get my haircuts here whenever I’m back in town. Easily the best hairstylist I’ve ever met. He never misses with his recommendations, is very patient when I try to explain my instructions and will provide feedback on whether or not a particular style will look the way I envision or not. If you’re in the Plano area, you should not look for any other hairstylist.

steven cruz Jesse is probably the best haircut ive had in Plano. Hes got great attention to detail, gives good hair advice and just a pleasant chatter overall. 10/10 would recommend

Hagen did a wonderful job taking the time to understand what I wanted, and like a magician she made my hair dreams come to life. playingtheGOL Its always a challenge trying to find a new hair salon who is good with coloring when you move to a new area. My grey roots were out of control and trimming and styling was also long overdue. Even though it was so close to the holidays, I was able to get an appointment with Maya who did an excellent job with the coloring and blending my grey roots to my blonde highlights. I also appreciated the courteous and friendly vibe from everyone here, and also the overall first impression of cleanliness and organization. I also appreciated that the cost for the various styling jobs were reasonable and not outrageous like most of the other salons here in Dallas & Plano.

Cheyenne Crisp I recently had my first visit to A La Mode Hair Studio, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Sydney Smith A few week ago I left a one-star review about my experience with one of their newer stylist Ava. They immediately reached out to me wondering how to make it better. I was able to go in free of charge and had a more experienced stylist do my hair. While I was not able to leave with what I wanted originally she was able to fix a lot of the mess that was caused. I think the accountability is respectable, thank you.

We had been hesitating on going to cross and co since we are an hour away and the cost is more than we had spent in the past. BUT, well worth the visit there. I absolutely love my curls! Camara was my stylist and she was so sweet, kind, and professional! She talked me through every step in the process not only telling me what she was doing but also why she was doing it! She also recommended products I could order online and have shipped to me in AK so I didn’t have to worry about checking my suitcases at the airport. Veronica at the front desk was also very sweet and professional! She sent me a text reminding me of their new location which I really appreciate because I almost went to the old location. She also blessed me with a goodie bag with samples so I could maintain my curls during the rest of my TX visit! I look forward to visiting my sister again so I can get back into this salon! Renee Pearl I started coming in for bang trims and was excited that I found a new hair salon I can trust. The first time I came in I was incredibly happy with how my hair was cut. Second time I came in... Not at all. I said the same verbage the first time, I want my bangs to fall mid brow. My mistake was not offering a photo. When I saw how short they were, I asked what verbage should I have said to get the results I wanted. I was told there is going to be a note put in my profile that I like them cut wet... Im confused, because they were cut wet... Im so frustrated that Im going to have to wear them up for a bit while they grow to the length I wanted, which is a shame as Thanksgiving weekend is in 2 days. Hair grows, but I was so looking forward to a place close to me that I can trust with a big cut. Note: Everyone there is so incredibly nice.

Cheryl Guernsey Blondie’s is the best salon that I have found in the area. The salon beautiful and relaxing. My stylist Mary is absolutely fabulous. She is an artist and does an incredible job of helping me reach my hair goals. The other staff is very sweet and seem to be knowledgeable as well. I seriously cannot say enough good things about Blondie’s.

Nicole Parks Mary was super sweet, helpful, and asked a lot of questions of what I like! I am not super picky with my hair but she still did an amazing job on her own fixing an old cut, and gave me the cutest bangs!!! Definitely recommend her :)

Laura B All I can say is Cindy Cindy CINDY! 10/10 5 stars Give this girl a gold metal! Cindy has been doing my hair for years! The years I moved to Austin and would drive back to see her for my hair. No one can do hair like she can! Honestly, I don’t even show her a picture of what I want anymore. I just let her make me look great and I have NEVER ONCE been disappointed! This whole salon is really talented, so you can’t go wrong with the chair you are in, but Cindy is definitely worth the appointment. Kenzie Herring After getting my hair butchered at another salon two days prior, I saw Persia to correct/even out the cut. I was able to book same-day Christmas Eve which totally blew me away, and then I received probably the best haircut I’ve ever had. She was thorough and meticulous, which I so appreciated after getting an uneven cut. The owner of the salon overheard my story and threw in a free hair masque to help with the breakage from the other salon. Hitomix Jenny I just moved here and my English is not good, but Terrence amazes me with his relaxed atmosphere and always gets my wishes instantly right and gives me the ideal shape in no time. The atmosphere is always fun and cheery, appointment are easy to book and always on time, and the prices are actually reasonable! Everything Ive had done here has been amazing. Perms, color, and cut - all of it has been top of the line. Gayla is so so talented, detail-oriented, creative, and hands on - and such a lovely person on top of it! Jackie has done my last three cuts, perms, and colors (Vibrance semi-permanent color lasted me well over 3 months!), and shes such an amazing person to work with. My hair right now is the best Ive ever seen it - THANK YOU, Jackie! So thankful I found Gaylas salon!:)

Sean Johnson This is my third time at Gayla’s, and each time has been better than the last. I come with some idea of what I want to do with my hair, and she finds ways to do better than I imagined. Amazing customer service and atmosphere. They added a Japanese massage bed for while they wash your hair, which was awesome. The whole staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable, and I’ve met a new talent each visit. This is the only place I trust to really cut my hair, and will continue to come back. It has not been easy finding a reliable spot for curly men’s haircuts, but this is the place. Highly recommend.

Brandy Aslanian Ive been seeing Gayla for years now and Im always happy. My older daughter wanted a short cut and I wanted to bring her to a proper salon for this hair transformation. Gayla did an excellent job and the results were exactly if not better than the photo reference. My younger daughter wanted a bob and to cut bangs for the first time. Jackie cut her hair and was so gentle and sweet. The salon is first class and is always a great experience.

Brown R Look no further, Serenity Salon has everything you need to feel beautiful. Every time I visit, I enjoy watching the staff serve the clients, and the results are always incredible. My stylist Lia is an angel. Both her and the owner take time to visit and are the kindest listeners. The establishment is super clean too which is really important to me. Chris Jones I have been going to Mrs Kim for 20 yrs now. I believe that is correct. Calm, friendly, awesome atmosphere. I get my hair washed after the cut and then she styles it. I personally dont do crazy haircuts, but I have seen her work her magic during homecoming, prom, weddings, or outings.

Casey Pham If I could give 6 stars I would. Hong is very patient, and prioritizes what you like. She gave me guidance on the way she was going to fix my hair after another lady messed mine up. Hong seems to know just what I want, and because she’s so passionate and knowledgeable about what she does, she makes it look so easy. I have never left her place feeling disappointed, she is very careful and mindful about your hair. As long as you know what you want, she can give it to you.

See W. Bella is the best! My hair is fine, thin and straight. I showed Bella pictures of hair cuts and color that I liked. She listened to what I was asking, asked questions for clarity, and let me know what she could do working with the style and color I already had. She recommended ways to get more volume from my thin lifeless hair. The first time I went the cut and color were very similar to what I wanted. I liked it and was the happiest I’ve been with a hair stylist in several years. The second time I went the cut and color were perfect! I highly recommend Bella. She is laid back and doesn’t rush her work trying to get to the next client. The bonus is pricing is very reasonable!

I had really long hair and its curly. Bella really listened to me. We chatted for several minutes before starting. I dont think I could be any happier than I am! I just love the cut. Bella really listened on what I dont like and what I do. It is absolutely perfect. Price is great too! The salons I have been to in past always charge more because of length. Price was very affordable. They have a very comfortable laid back type atmosphere. I felt very comfortable here. Highly recommend.

Arpitha I have been a regular customer since 4 years. I go to Eva. My first few hair cuts (usually get layers) were very good and I was impressed. 5 stars to those first few visits! Few good things about her is she gives very nice tips during the visit to maintain healthy hair. I have recommended her to many of my friends. But as I started to visit often, the hospitality reduced. My last visit was really bad when she started to clean her suite when I was still half done. I guess it’s because my appointment was in the evening and she had to leave - but what ever the reason, I felt disappointed. I would also like to add that the prices she had told me during the last visit was different from the prices she actually charged for highlights. I tried highlights for the first time and I expected more details from her as i was a first timer but I had to keep asking questions to know more. And I did not get direct answers even after questioning many times. I felt there was no transparency / there was no time for her to explain. I was not satisfied with my highlights. My goal which I explained to her was not served. My friends who visited her had the same feedback that only their first few visits were good. Would still recommend her for first time visits for hair cuts. But would not recommend her for highlights.

Amanda Eckhardt Eva Arnold did my hair for my wedding and she made me look stunning! I have pretty thin hair naturally so I got some clip in extensions and Eva was able to make my hair look so voluminous and elegant for my special day :) She also styled my husband’s hair to give it a kind of messy but put together look and he looked so handsome. Both of our hair held the entire night. She is an absolute miracle worker!
