Jigar Gandhi Avoid at All Costs - Shocking Billing Practices and Unhelpful Staff
I visited Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Rosenberg, TX, on January 3rd for a simple flu test, expecting transparency and reasonable charges. Instead, I was met with an experience that can only be described as daylight robbery.
At the time of service, I specifically asked for a cost estimate, but was informed their system was down and they couldnt provide one. Imagine my shock when I received a bill on February 11 for $528 for just a flu test and office visit - an amount that seems egregiously overpriced for the services rendered.
When I tried to address this issue, the customer service was beyond disappointing. I spent 25 minutes on the phone, only to be told they couldnt help and I should call the office. Once I called the office, or rather, spoke with another representative on the phone, I was bounced around with no resolution; the representative could not assist and promised a callback without any timeline. This left me in limbo, frustrated, and feeling utterly disregarded.
The lack of transparency, the exorbitant charges, and the unwillingness or inability of the staff to resolve billing issues make this clinic one to avoid if you value your time, money, and peace of mind. I strongly caution anyone considering this facility to look elsewhere for healthcare services where you wont be treated like just another number in a billing system.
