drivercharles The manager here or a worker, whichever doesn’t matter, but they worked here and they told me to sew my private area shut because they found out I was forced to adopt out my baby… who says something so insensitive for such a hard circumstance? It’s been echoing in my mind for so long that I had to make a review about it. I will never waste my time here ever again and I suggest the same for others… there’s no reason someone should say something so horrible and unprofessional.

Crystal Wohlfahrt Mary is incredible, she opened her doors an hour early for me today. I have been wanting to check them out and i wasnt sure what time they opened. She took very good care of me and made me feel very special. I will definitely be going back, clean, professional and really care about there customers

Veronica Benavides I had a horrible experience. The girl working (not the owner) charged me $55 for just SNS. I had a $50 gift certificate and she asked me first how I was paying then said $55. I think she made that number up. No one in town charges that much!!! I got glitter and I told her one was ugly because it was missing glitter, she said what does ugly mean. I told her I didnt like the way it looked and she said dont look at it just feel it. She also burned my cuticles and they look so bad!! :(

Jeri Conley The pedi’s my husband and I received were good and the owners were very nice and reassuring that the prices are what they advertise. I got the regular pedi and my husband was talked into a gel pedi. When we went to pay for our services it came out to $90! I was overcharged for my regular pedi! So beware, know the price before you get the service done! At first it was $25 for mine and $45 for his. When we went to pay and the lady owner said something in Vietnamese to her husband and our total changed to $90!!!

Lola Guzman Paid quite a lot of money for my mother and i to get gel pedicures, only for my nails to start peeling off within 4 hours of leaving. They were nice enough to repaint my nails, however within 3 days my nails are already chipped and lifting. Two of my toes are completely bare and i am out of town. I called to ask if I could send pictures for proof so I can get them fixed whenever I return to town. They said they cannot wait for me to come back to repaint for free, as well as no refund. $120 wasted and i tipped very good. Do not recommend.

Destrianna Moses I’ve been 3 or 4 times now and love it. Everyone is friendly and attentive. Yes, it does get busy and stay busy but I’ve never felt like they’ve rushed to finish just to service someone else. They truly take their time and give you what you pay for. I’ve only ever seen Phillip and he really is SO good. Super sweet and does a great job with anything you ask for. 10/10 recommend!

Tabatha Peardon These are probably the worst nails I’ve gotten, the paint it uneven, they are crooked, they don’t even clean up skin around fingers, others places do and charge same price, my skin around my toe got cut and hurts.. just so unsatisfied. I get there and is greeted by a nice gentlemen, then he directs me to a female tech. No hi, asks me for color, I get up to go to polishes because I see no samples, she sits there trying to point me to samples that are hanging. OK fine, then I choose color, go through process of shellac. I try to point to my thumb and tell her it’s crooked, apparently there is a language barrier now.. whatever I’m already getting annoyed it’s not too bad but noticeable, I can live with it. Then they don’t have color I chose. Ok, doesn’t quite match outfit needed for but ok.. during pedi I get a piece of skin clipped off! And she just looks at me and continues. No sorry, nothing! Fingers and toes done. I want to get out I pay and leave. My goodness my nails are just ugly.

Dorina Villarreal Always a great experience! When they are busy it’s still a manageable wait. Kim and Philip are my go-to’s. Kim does a great job on pedicures and SNS nails. Philip is my guy for a consistently amazing full set.

christi payne The only nail salon I will go to, the gentleman I had working on my nails this morning was just lovely and he did a great job. French tip SNS with pink powder and they always have a stocked bar. I notice the woman that was taking off nails on another lady that came in was super rude and on her cell phone the whole time. That was frustrating to watch. Also another gentleman in a nice shirt Im guessing the owner just sat their looking pissed off the whole time. That made me a little uncomfortable. But my technician, he was wonderful!

Sue Campbell I took my daughter here to get her nails done and her eyebrows and lip wax for her senior pictures. Her nails were okay other than a spot that stuck-up out of the Polish. But I would not recommend this place for waxing ever. The wax was too hot and the lady put the cloth over the wax and let it sit there too long. When she pulled the wax strip off not only did the hair come off but so did the top layer of my daughters skin. I had to take her to the doctor the next day to get some burn cream for her to put on it. Now she has to wait until her lip heals to take her senior pictures. She told me that it burns after she got it done and it was red but I didnt realize the severity of it while I was at the shop. Had I had known then I definitely would have said something. So I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Linda Force I went here, because I was referred by a friend that did my nails, because she moved to a far place. This person knows the owner’s, she referred me to Kim, the first time I went there was Kim’s husband, that did my mani and pedi. He did a good job. July 9th, I went back to get a mani pedi, and Kim did my nails this time. She was very good and did a fantastic job. This place is very clean, friendly, and accommodating to your needs. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get their nails done.

LaToya Sanchez I came in because my usual spot could not do the design I wanted. I do not know the woman’s name, but she did a great job. My nails were thick and she did shave them skimmer as I made her aware. It was her first time ever attempting to do this design (it is a peculiar design that I do not even know the name for it) and I think she did a wonderful job! It is not exact and I never expect exact every time, but I still think it looks great! I went home very happy with my set!

Sarena Segovia Paid $60 for the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Started with a guy who kept asking me how to do his job, seemed like it was the first pedicure he’d ever done and didn’t even know how to use nail clippers. I told him he needed to clean under the toenails and push the cuticles back like the do with any pedicure. The owner (I’m assuming) came to take over and was rude and rushed through. Still left him a $10 tip, but I will be contacting TDLR about the guy they have working there with no training and possibly no license.

Lindsey Luvender Ive been going here for two years and they never fail me! Always come out with the most beautiful nails, and they last. Today I went with a simple set and included a photo. Btw, these nails glow BLUE in the dark! The small red area was there before I came in.

allison haley I usually would go to this place often with no issues until today. I went to get a manicure and pedicure done. A guy that I have not seen before helped me; seemed very timid and nervous doing the job. He did not clip my nails at first until I had mentioned something when he did both my pedicure and manicure. During the pedicure, the water was set way too hot to the point where when he felt the temperature, he shook his hand due to it being too hot. My feet werent in the water for too long after he adjusted the temp and he drained the water so I didnt get the pedicure I had asked for. As for the manicure, he used the drill and left rough lines on my nails. He did not do anything with my cuticles until I mentioned something. I just wanted polish on my real nails with shellac and he tried to do fake nails until I told him again that I just wanted polish. After the manicure and polish, I noticed lint from the towel he was using already set with the shellac but was already dissatisfied with the service and just wanted to pay and leave.

Shawna Harris This salon had really nice people but they took a really long time because they kept switching from from your nails to another customers nails. Thought they should finish one persons at one time. Also they are not very detailed and artistic. Plus it was very pricey for the quality of nails they did.

Mi Mi Owner doesnt sanitize anything...doesnt enforce mask rules they post on the door....rude af! Kayal was sweet...and did great work but the man was rude af! He said they didnt have time to do my fingernails...but was seen laying down texting on a cot! I will NEVER go back...

The owner did an amazing job of refilling my nails; and he did an even more amazing job at making sure he didnt leave the "refill line." Ive been getting my nails done for over 12 years and Ive never had a refill as beautiful as the one I got today. It looked like a fresh set! Definitely recommend.

Mimi Pet Didnt paint fully and went over the nail in a couple of areas. Very rushed. Very disappointed paying $20 for unfinished/messy job. ☹️

Nicki Vasquez They call you poor if you question the prices. Usually nail polish comes with the nail price so I am just asking what the charge for. He has I’d anything is extra. But the water he gave me was not extra. It’s included. How do I know if I don’t ask? Asking questions doesn’t mean you’re poor it means you are not stupid. She did not paint my nails well. They are the cheapest in corpus and they work/act like it. Don’t recommend. Go somewhere they have complimentary drinks and nail polish included in price on the menu.

The guy was throwing a fit the entire time because we did not want to get the color he suggested. Anytime we suggested otherwise he would nic us purposely. Both of our cuticles are cut up.

Brittany Garcia Honestly I LOVED this place. Ive gone multiple times over the last 4 years and always enjoyed my time here and the work they put in. I noticed the quality of work has gone down some. Nails different shapes and thickness and also lots of crooked nails. Sometimes the work would be rushed sometimes it wasnt but I kept coming back because they were affordable and always very nice. My last visit though was the last straw. Everything went off without a hitch until it came time to pay. My usual 55 dollar new set had now gone up to $65 with no warning. I was a little annoyed but no biggie. I hand over my card and it keeps declining (I only put the amount on my card for the item Im paying for the rest of my money stays locked). Anyways, I check my phone and I see Im being charged an extra 10 dollars when I ask him about it he basically says no your phones wrong. We keep trying to charge it but it keeps declining, I show him again that hes over charging me. So he adjusts the price to $55 and says I owe him 10 dollars next time I come back. I pay and I leave. When I checked my phone he still snuck in an extra charge of 8 dollars because it rang up as 63 dollars and change on my end. If he was trying to get a tip I dont know why he felt the need to sneak one because I ALWAYS tip when I go in. Unfortunately I wont be returning.

Grace Lopez Pedicure yesterday. The polish is not to the cuticle & pictures show how bad the pedicure was. I went back in today to show them their work & they only had four workers. They only touched up the polish & ignored how bad the actual pedicure looked like. I was told I could come back. No one there was authorized to refund or at least give me credit to come back and let them try again.

The nail tech did my feet like she was tired or scared to touch feet. When she skipped over a whole toe and nail I lost it. If she didnt want to do it then walk away and dont do it is what I told her. Then when we go pay she charges us $75!!!! $75 for what a basic wash and half a** scrub and cleaning. Wow! The area where they keep the polish had a mound of junk hanging out of a shelf, all kinds of polish all over the place in no order and the polishes looked old. I wanted to say, Uh, no thanks. But, I stayed. I wish the lady would have painted my nails but a young man did it. I doubt he obtained his license in the USA because he did not speak English nor did he understand me when I spoke to him. He had to just ignore me. This place is like half residence and half business. I feel sorry for them. Everything was dirty, the pedicure chair, the table where they do the nails, the nail dryer, the floor. My nails.. well, you could tell he was just learning because I felt like a teenager painted my nails, and he cut me. Please Angel, clean up your business.

My daughter went to go get her nails done she went in requesting a certain design, shape, and color. What the nail tech failed to do decided to do her own style and design. My daughter was showing the nail tech a picture of the design she wanted and the nail tech failed to look at it. My daughter requested the same shape and length of the nail AGAIN the NAIL TECH FAILED TO DO IT. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT AL DO NOT GO FOR ANY MANICURE/PEDICURE. THIS IS A VERY DIRTY FILTHY PLACE.

Nina Ramon Went and got my nails done for a family Christmas party we were attending. Within 3 days I called because 2 of nails had already broke completely off only to be told they weren’t open because some stuff with the landlord and didn’t know when the issue would be resolved. I then go somewhere else to have them fixed and we head out of town. While gone, and before the party, I had another 3 nails brake on the opposite hand from the other 2. Normally when I get my nails done I’m there for at least an hr to hr and a half and with Lucky nails I was in and out within 30mins. Not happy and never going back to this place or recommending to anyone. This was at the Moore plaza location.

Hannah Mynard DO NOT GO HERE!! I went to get my nails&toes done, it came out to 137 (with tip) got home and realized they charged my card a second time for $147. When calling and trying to resolve the issue they acted clueless to who I was or what they had done. They then put me off for 4 days saying to call back when a manager was there . I will never again go there . To top it off they took FOREVER to get my pedicure done since the lady wanted to get up and down to make drinks, cash people out, and look at others nails . Very unhappy, very unsettling, and very unprofessional. This company and the people are thieves .

Felecia Williamson Honestly, the worst nails I have ever gotten. He did not trim or push back my cuticles and we all know how important that is to have a pretty nails set. I asked for oval shape and I got a bunch of weird un matching round shaped nails. The powder is over my skin on almost all my nails. And they where pretty expansive for a basic set that had no cuticle work.

Brit Wick This was hands down the B E S T full set manicure I had ever gotten in my entire life. And my mother owned nail salons when I was a teenager/young adult. It has been a few months since I had these done, I forgot the magical duo who made this happen but they were a GODSEND. But I will never forget these amazing beauts. The last photo is then inspo photo from Pinterest. She took one look and said she’d do her best, grabbed the right colors and did it like it was her millionth time, but better than the original. Like a perfectionist!!!! I cannot stress enough, they did an above and beyond job. I have seriously considered flying back to Corpus from Portland, that good.

Ashtyne Flores Went to Alex at 6/6:30 pm last night. He had an appointment and I told him it was my only day off before a wedding I had to go to. He stayed late just to take me in. Had lost a nail tech I’ve been going to since I was 15 and I’m VERY picky about my nails. Not only did Alex stay late to do my nails and it was my first time ever meeting him, but he did a FANTASTIC job! Was very fast. Paid great attention to detail. And if you don’t like your nails super thick (like me) he is for sure the one to go to. He will now be my go to nail tech. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

Makenzie Bridges I’ve been a regular at Elite Nails for about 10 years, since I was a teenager, and I’ve always had mostly positive experiences. I know or recognize most of the staff, many of whom have been there just as long. However, today’s visit really changed my perspective. I didn’t get the name of the technician who worked on me, but she’s been there for years—just like me. Unfortunately, this time, I felt she didn’t make any effort to be friendly or offer the excellent customer service I’ve come to expect from this place. I asked her three separate times to turn up the water temperature because it was freezing, but it never got warm. Eventually, I gave up, which was frustrating. The lady who did my nails last time was amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and personable, and she even offered me a drink. I tipped her generously because of the great service. But the lady who moved on from my nails today was the same one who left me feeling disappointed. After she finished my nails, she got up and moved to another customer, leaving me with two toenails unpainted. I sat there waiting while new customers were being served, which made the whole experience feel even worse. Towards the end it felt very rushed and sloppy also. Although I appreciate the pedicure itself—it was relaxing and felt great—the lack of customer service and the feeling of being overlooked was incredibly disappointing, especially since the staff knows me and my family well. It’s not just about the service; it’s about respect and acknowledgment of regular customers who have been coming for years. I even still tipped her, although I was not satisfied with my experience. Hopefully, this experience was just a one-off, but it’s left me questioning whether I’ll continue coming back.

Jane They did a terrible job. They chipped the same night, she left polish on my skin. Parts of my nails didnt even have polish on them. I went back and asked them to fix it, they said no because the woman who did my nails wasnt there. You should honor the work done in your salon, someone else should have fixed them for me. Very disappointed. I would not reccomend this salon at all. I should get a refund, but they wont do that either. Poor customer service, poor way to run a business. I will never go back.

Monica Lopez John did amazing on my pedicure, especially with my ingrown toenails. It was the best experience I’ve had. It was not as painful as it usually is when having them taken out. He also did my SNS perfectly. It was Fourth of July when I went so it was busy, but all the staff was accommodating to me and all the other customers. It’s definitely worth traveling from Kingsville to Corpus Christi!

Alexis O I’m OBSESSED with my nails. I love classy with a bling touch and John executes it every time! I can’t get over it. And my nails always last. I get so many compliments. And every time I visit the salon, John and Kelly make my experience the best :)

Baby Baby John always does a great job! I love my nails every time! He is great at French tip but I decided to get a simple set this time.

Maria Salinas I never write reviews but in case it is really necessary, I will never come to this place, horrible costumer service, I was nice and polite ask for a pedicure I choose number 1 and requested regular nail polish… didn’t think nothing of it went on with the first nail tech he did a quick work filing nails and bottom of feet … never put hot towels on legs then another costumer showed up, so he moved on to the new costumer to start a full set of nails and another lady “nail tech” came up and finish the job, she go ahead and ask me if I wanted shellac I replied no thanks I want regular nail polish… so at that point she was already upset…. And insisted if I wanted shellac I politely replied no ma-am.. she proceeded to start polishing my toe nails in a bad manner … I then ask her about the towels that I’m used to get in other places… then she said which one you pick I said #1 she replied no you don’t get any … she then finish the messed up job and told me you have to wait 45 min (do you have time) she ask .. I’m like do you have those plastic sandal.? She said yes and give me a weird look.. I stood up pay and left .. never said have a good day or anything.. just bad service over all ,!
