Crysta Swayzer Crum I needed my set taken off and nails cut short to make it through the move I have coming up. I’m on my side of town and I can’t go too far because I’m waiting on my kid to finish his appointment. All that to say….I looked up the closest salon and these guys did not disappoint! Brian was my tech and he was very gentle and make my hands look just like a middle school girl for the week, like I asked. lol. I may have to sync my appointments with my kid’s schedule.

Ladies are super rude, didn’t asked for a drink and when asked for extra swirl nail design — she screamed at me. Never recommend anyone to go here. Super rude people, highly disappointed.

Kay-lee Baker Wynnie did my nails and I love them! She was very sweet and she took her time to make sure they were right and made sure I loved them every step of the way. I requested little white flowers and she made them so cute! This was overall the best experience I’ve had when getting my nails done! Highly recommend this place, such a friendly atmosphere :)

Melody Bunch I haven’t been impressed with a nail place in years and this place impressed me. Ryan did dip nails and was so fast and did my almond nails in a perfect shape without me asking any changes or tweaks with shaping. Julie did my pedicure and was so nice and was a perfectionist with my gel pedicure. The only downside was they wouldn’t do French tip with a color dip power, only pink and white. I will be coming back.

I should let you know they as cute as the nails are, they actually did a lot of damage to my nail. I’ve never had this difficult of a time removing the nails. So I will never go here for any type of gel nail, structure gel, acrylic or dip application. Absolutely worth the price with discount for any other safe services.

NeeNee Robinson I will never come back to this place. Went in for a pedicure and full set for me and my daughter. I got medium long nails with two colors and two color pedicure, my daughter got super short nails and one color on both hands and feet. First problem I had to tell the guy who was doing my nails that my nail was crooked and he replied “what do you want” for you to fix it….and then there “menu” pedicure says 35$ when it was time to pay they charged me $110 for me which I was kinda confused but ok then charged me the same exact price for my daughter who got super short nails and one color….come to find out they charged me 20$ for gel polish on my feet!!! How ridiculous is that?? when you asked me what I wanted why didn’t you mention it’s 20$ more to get gel polish on my toes???? How does a pedicure go from 35$ to 55 and that’s the same gel you used on my nails for 55$??? And if I got two colors and longer nails why would you charge me the same exact price for my daughter??? That’s overpriced she might as well got two colors as well and way longer nails. Overcharged and not pleased with the results the guy doesn’t know how to shape long nails….I can’t believe I spend that much money for my daughter…disappointment Updated I went on Sunday 6/16 and here it is Thursday 6/20 and my nail is broken and 2 were cracked smh Today 6/23 I have 3 cracked nails and one broken one and 3 nails are the same one I went to fix on 6/21!!!! Your products are cheap!!!!

Keely Hanson I’ve been here a few times but this time (on a Friday afternoon) was terrible. First off I’d like to say to the owners I can tell you guys probably spent a lot of money on this place, however you guys need to hire better staff/more employees. Customer service is non-existent, there is barely any communication except “what would you like today?”. Felt like 90 degrees in the salon, as if either the heat was on or air was off. Definitely not okay when this is Texas heat people are dealing with. Only 3 workers, myself and another woman in the salon. The lady doing my basic white toenails did great! However, the woman who did my nails took forever on another woman. Telling me to “come back later”. While the lady who ended up doing my nails got a complaint from another customer that she was taking too long. They only have one person doing either your toes or nails first at a time. On average you will be spending about 3 hours in the salon, while other salons actually have 2 people work on you at once. Pedicure was $35 for the “regular” and Manicure was $65. Total: $100. I was there for 3 hours, I will not be coming back until the man who normally does my nails is there. Apparently he’s out of town at the moment. Not to mention their fish tank was green and disgusting, they are not taking care of the fish they have which has to be some sort of city violation.

Sally Johnston I had my first visit at The Nail Place in Coppell last night based off of a reference from a good friend of mine whose nails always look very nice. When I called to make an appointment, I was able to get in same day. Wendy, the owner did my powder dip manicure and Kelly did my pedicure that I fought from falling asleep while she was massaging my feet and legs! So relaxing. The salon is a no-fuss, get straight to it kind of place and that’s ok with me. All the ladies working last night were joyful and very friendly with each other and all the customers. Even the ladies that were getting their nails done were interacting with other customers. A real sense of community. I love how everything came out and made my 2nd appointment before I left. ***MAKE AN APPOINTMENT*** These ladies are working non-stop, back to back clients so you may have to wait longer than you want if you just walk-in. My powder dip color is 335 from the Organic book and toes are 176 from standard book. Thank you Lynda for telling me about them!

When I arrived, I showed them a picture of what I wanted (At that moment, if they couldn’t do it, they should have said so) But she gets started with the service and then tells me designs are one of one so it may not look like the picture And proceed to tell me it will cost $100 plus. The designs do not look like the picture and the nail shape is not shaped to my actual nail. They are big and bulky. I will not be returning. I don’t appreciate having to argue And be told something is the way it is because that’s the way it is versus accommodation , And willingness to do what the customer is asking.

madelyn garrett My first time going here on arrival, I was pleased with how nice people were and the salon itself. I also loved how many color options there were almost too many to choose. I was told the price was starting at $48 and is dependent upon length and shape. Has she started working on my nails everything was normal. While shaping I was cut with the file. She used a gel topcoat, even though I voiced that I usually don’t get those because I peel them every time I prefer the dip topcoat. Another lady sat down a mobile register And asked me to go ahead and pay while she was still in the process of doing my nails my total was $58 and I tipped $12 in total I paid $70. The pictures show how the gel was not carefully put on and was left on my cuticles and is now peeling and how different parts of my nail don’t even have color on them. I called and asked for a soak off and refund and I was told they don’t do refunds only fixes and as I was trying to understand and explain myself she hung up on me.

Marlene Ledesma Come here if you want your fingers cut! First time costumer and NEVER coming back. Almost all of my fingers are cut or have some sort of irritation. They all hurt very bad. The technician was not fluent in English and I was telling her that she was hurting me but still cut me. I don’t think I want to do power nails ever again. She traumatized me for life. My ring finger has a deep cut and now I have a hard time doing dishes, washing my hands and my hair. It is so inconvenient and hurtful.

Teara Smith Don’t recommend. I went for a concert to get my solar nails and pedicure. Reviews were 50/50 so I went myself. $120 after tip and I almost cried because an individual artist would have cared and worked hard for that amount. Pedicure: never overpay, so I got the express. I thought since the callus remover was more, I could ask them for it as an additional since it wasn’t on the paper (or they would try to upsell and remind me-wasn’t the case). When she was adding the clear coat, I grab the rough part on my foot and asked if it was included and I said I wanted the callus remover. She did it but got mad at me. Also didn’t get the massage at all. Even after going back she finished before my moms who started first. Also, my pinky toe nails didn’t stay because she put my slides on with wet toes while I got my nails done. When I got home I was so upset but again had to get ready for my concert. Nails: I asked for a solar set. My pedicure lady started them because no one was available. She put on tips that were too small (knew she was going to try to file down my nail to hide this) when the nail girl sat down she was annoyed she had to do them. I pointed out the nails and she didn’t care. She then went on to do my white and pink set. She asked if I wanted 3 shades of pink I said the middle one but when she did a stroke it was barely pink so then she got the “dark pink”. As you can see ,this looks like basic pink. The biggest issue was her LACK of attention when she was using the FORM for the pink. Literally EVERY nail….. the white corner doesn’t meet the pink and it’s a square instead of a point. Also I asked for mostly white and she barely made white. The white and pink ratio are different for each nail. This was absolutely unacceptable but I had plans and realistically they would have to redo the whole set which I didn’t have the time since it already took so long. Won’t be using them for my time in Dallas. Note: The lady next to me was doing a custom nail set for her regular customer and you can tell she cared! The regular said she only trusted that lady and I can’t tell why. Not my personal experience unfortunately. You’ve been warned!

She was very nice and patient with me.. its been awhile since Ive been to a salon.. she did my eyebrows too and it didnt hurt hardly at all.. definitely coming back!!! They offer drinks both non alcoholic and alcoholic.. the aesthetic of the salon is nice as well

I’m OCD & type A so if they’re crooked or misshaped it drives me crazy….I didn’t feel the need to file when I got home! Love this place! The manager Nathan is always super friendly, and on top of everything also!

Kayla Self I stopped here for a mani pedi. First in a while. The ladies here never even spoke to me other than to tell me it was an extra charge for gel polish. I feel very unwelcomed and disappointed in the way they treat their paying customers. I loved my pedi! She did a wonderful job. However the lady who did my mani did a highly poor job. The polish doesnt cover the full nail, i have stray skin, and lumps in the polish. Then on top of all that I was charged an extra 20$ for the gel polish. They never said it was that much more. When I went to pay I was shocked. The lady was so rude and didnt even seem to care I was upset. I would suggest finding a better place. Best to price their every move!

Alexandra Hubbard Star is absolutely amazing! She is always excited to try out a new design that I show her and makes sure my nails look perfect every time. She will constantly check with me throughout my appointments to make sure I am happy with the shape, design, colors, etc. to ensure I will love my nails. Her biggest priority it making sure my natural nails stay healthy. And on top of being a great nail tech she is also a huge sweetheart! I don’t let anyone else touch my nails. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would!

Sherry McCoy I have never had someone take care of my nails who gives such attention to details! Star does a fantastic job with my gel manicure. It may take a little longer than others, but the quality is outstanding. While the space is small, she is sensitive to my needs. I especially love her vacuum that attracts ALL of the dust from my nails while she is filing them! Every surface is clean and sanitized, and I feel very comfortable. You will love having your nails done by Star at The Nail Hustle!

Lizzie B I had been looking for a stand alone nail tech that specializes in gel for over 2 years. “Chop shop“ nail salons had made my nails thin and brittle to the point of splitting. Star has restored my nails and made them healthy. She has an eye for detail and will make sure you leave with perfect hands. She cares about your nail health. She has so many colors to choose from and can even make a color for you. She is amazing at designs and can work with any of her clients Inspo pics. My nails look amazing and last long. My natural nails are now thick and healthy. Star is also just a sweet person in general and creates a relaxing atmosphere for her clients and makes sure they are comfortable. 100% recommend her and get so many compliments after seeing her.

Ashlie Sellers Star is amazing! Her attention to detail is what keeps me coming back. She really cares about the health of your natural nails and takes care of them for you. She can do all the Instagram nail all that I bring her and she takes her time to get it right! Because she doesn’t do a rush job like the chop shops around here my toe polish (gel) lasted two months! Talk about getting your money’s worth.

C P This place was very clean and welcoming! I felt right at home. They offered polishes that other salons have never offered to me before that last a long time! Daniela made me feel very welcomed. She was very nice and sweet and was getting to know me the whole time. I did not feel rushed out like I have at other places in the past. UPDATE: it’s been two weeks and my thumb nail has chipped off. Pretty normal for gel but wanted to show this. Going to book again!

Haelin Kim-Jo The first time I’ve been here went great. My Acrygel nails lasted full 2 weeks. This time around I was very disappointed because she just kept piling on the color resulting in my nails looking like they’re too thick rather than looking natural. Also one finger was lifting within 1 day which I’m not happy about. Also communication issue is huge but the owner does a great job translating, so make sure you talk through her when you need something in particular.

Cessna Young I had to reschedule a pedicure last week due to teacher hours and they were so kind about it. My sister went in my stead and she LOVED the place. I was finally able to come in and I was not disappointed. The husband was very kind and explained all my options in detail. Despite a language barrier, the manicurist was gentle, thorough, and talented. A very cozy little salon that gives an atmosphere of welcoming and homey energy! I definitely will be coming back!

Casey Campbell Did a good job giving me a gel manicure and was friendly. However, my manicurist was kind of rude to me especially by making fun of my short nails. It’s very uncomfortable for me to have nails longer than the tip of my fingers - which I finally told her when she kept bugging me about them and even said I have baby fingers - and just because it’s fashionable for women to have long nails doesn’t mean all of us want long nails. At least my nails look healthy and I like them to look cool with colored polish and this time glittery, unlike her nails.

Yesenia Teamo Im very disappointed with the service I recieved on Thursday. I went to get my waxing done and the lady completly burned my entire face. I have burn marks on both sides of my face. I am extremely upset. My spring break is ruined. I hope theyre thinking about resolving this and i hope the lady that burned my face is thinking of a way to fix it.

Kelsey Summers I went in to quickly get a fresh coat of gel on my natural nails and a manicure with it. My nails were thick and healthy mind you. First thing Nathan does is takes out the nail grinder to remove my old coat of gel polish. Grinds my nails down to a point where I can feel pain through my entire nail bed they are so thin. I tell Nathan to switch to dip because they are so thin. They come out different shapes and super thick. The amount of glue under my nail is ridiculous. I ask Nathan to remove the glue under my nail, they try but clearly didn’t do it. On top of that it took them 6 tries to finish the top coat on one of my nails. Also the “manicure” I paid for was Nathan dabbing a pea sized amount of lotion on the back of my hands and rubbing it in while my nails were still wet for a grand total of maybeeee 30 second. All in all I was hoping for a quick trip to the nail salon, took two hours and I deeply regret giving this place a chance. Should have driven 30 minutes to M Nail bar near north park, they never mess up. 10/10 do not recommend and will not be returning

Sun Moon Located in the heart of Austin Ranch, this spa is a well-maintained and peaceful retreat within the colony. From the moment we walked in, the experience was smooth and welcoming. The receptionist greeted us warmly, provided a menu card. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch. For our services, I opted for a manicure, while my wife chose both a manicure and a pedicure. we were impressed by the wide variety of nail colors available. The staff was incredibly patient and helpful, offering great recommendations. Even when we tried a nail color and decided we didn’t like it, they were more than happy to change it without hesitation. Highly recommended !!

Everyone there is so nice, but Kate truly stands out with her incredible skills and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Cherie Barnett I have been going here for years and years. Tina and her husband are always super nice and very helpful. Tina has been waxing me for years and I have tried many other places and always come back to her. She know just the perfect shape for my eyebrows and does them perfect every time. I recently started going back there for my nails and see Jesse. She is amazing! Does them perfect every time and is excellent at nail art and design. They have never over charged me or charged for "little extrtas" on any service I have had there.

dina d I keep coming back again and again hoping to finally walk away satisfied with my simple one color dip. This place used to be great in the past, thats why I keep giving them another shot. The last couple of years every single time my nails were not up to my liking (bubbles in the dip, immediate cracking, top coat wearing off a few days after, etc.). The latest visit I paid extra to get my cuticles done. 4 days later the looked like they havent even been touched, along with yet another sloppy dip job. The services are just not worth the prices that are being charged. Customer service is good, thats the only reason why Im giving 3 stars and not less.

K Mart So I came for an acrylic refill, and I asked for clear polish. Thats $35, and of course, they have to add 5 for length??? This is crazy to me because its not like youre adding acrylic to the entire nail. Youre only adding it to the base. I get that youre out to make money. The nail tech asked me 3 times about gel polish, its shinier etc etc. I DONT CARE!!!! I am a grown woman, and I just looked at her bc I know what I want and not changing my mind. Now what I call lazy is her seeing my middle finger, and she told me it is lifting, and SHE STILL DIDNT FIX IT!!! I HAD TO tell her to take off the clear polish that was on my fingers previously bc she was just going to, I believe, start the filling process. I had to tell her that there was a small speck of something black under the base of 1 of my nails, I removed it and had to tell her that that finger needed more acrylic in that area. I also had to tell her to come down the bottom of a few of my nails bc they had grown out. Underneath my nails, there was some old polish that she neglected to remove it. As a nail tech, these are basic things that you do for the client, and she FAILED! She was in such a hurry to help another client of a paler complexion that she missed the opportunity to gain another by poor customer service!!!! She did a good job for that client on her previous fill as she and I were comparing nails. Needless to say, I was beyond annoyed and had a busy day ahead to even stress over this minute setback. Ann G ALG Consistent good service from the staffers and to the quality finish of my nails. I do not get tips added. I play a musical instrument. Some nail salons dont understand that. *However, this location understands and does my natural nails beautifully. I absolutely love their attention to detail at this location. * The color of my nails is (Gel Color: T80), and I absolutely love this gel color. It is so very natural and just a very pretty color. Try it out in gel nails... youll thank me.

D Naar I always wear ombre black nails with gray, red or orange as my mixed colors... I tried different places since moving to the area and this place has been the best. From customizing my nails to what I want to durability and how clean the place is. This was my 3rd or 4th visit and I cannot complain, even when there was a miscommunication between myself and the technician, she was friendly and accommodating, no drama and her final work was excellent.

Kimmberly Martinez I wanted to wait to make this review because I wanted to make sure that it wasn’t just first timers luck. Each time I have come it has been so welcoming and very nice. It’s genuinely hard to find a clean, sanitized and welcoming nail shop. Natalie has taken care of me each time and has done such an amazing job and always takes my nail visions to life!!! Even when it’s busy she doesn’t rush the job she is doing. I 10 out of 10 recommend.

Jenny Yang Ive visited this salon many times before, yet, today was my favorite! My nails were very damaged because I tried to get the gel nails off on my own. They were almost paper thin and it was to the point where I couldnt even untie a knot. I just wanted something very clean and something that will look natural to just grow my nails out. I called in to make an appointment the same day and arrived about 10min early. I got seated right away and Ivy was assigned to me. When I was picking out my color, I wanted something sheer and that doesnt have pigment color. I picked #7 (dont know the brand:/) as my dip powder. When Ivy applied the powder, I was little worried because I was able to see the fake tip and my nail bed but it was one of those "trust the process". When she was done, my nails looked exactly what I wanted! The powder is not clear but rather it has slight pink tone so it looks very natural and clean. I appreciate the time Ivy took to make sure my nails look natural! Cant wait to go back after my nails grow out and apply some colors!

Jess became my nail tech when my last one moved back home and she came highly recommended by her. Lets just say, in December, I book a year out with Jess. I love Black Owned everything, and the fact that she has DOPE nail art skills, shes professional, timely, communicates great, a kind spirit to be around, fun during appt time and looks at the many inspiration photos Ive collected to create something dope and unique for me is all the THINGS I need. Joy MacQueenette I love me a good nail set. It’s hard to find a black nail tech with professionalism, skill and quality work. Jess had all those things. Her nail shaping is top tier. Studio Eighty8 is my new nail salon, I have so many styles and designs i can’t wait to try! I can’t wait for my next set!!

Chonda Bridges It is a small job with lil ladies working hard to make sure your happy with the results. They are too funny! Reminds you of the old days when people cared for the work they do! And its nicely priced. It was my 1st time AND IM GOING BACK! MY HIDDEN GEM!

Jessica Rodriguez I love it here, it’s a hidden gem! It’s small like some of the comments say but not exaggerated as one user said “claustrophobic” that’s not at all true lol. It has a homey feel and the staff is so funny and sweet! I like to book ahead of time and they respect my time which I love. Heads up for anybody else going for the first time.. there’s usually only two people actually working at a time. They do take walkins but if those two ladies are busy… well then they are busy so just make an appointment. The manicures here are amazing.

Amanda Arzola Tina does waxes my eyebrows. She is the only person that touches my eyebrows. She’s the best. You always catch her singing and her laugh is contagious!! Everyone is so friendly, kind & welcoming. They always have a smile and ready to get to work on you. I don’t let anyone else touch my eyebrows. Thank you ladies for being the best!!!

Alyssa Simpson Kim and Tom are almost like family now. I met them a few years back and have been coming to GQ every 2-3 weeks since then. They always do a great job and make sure I’m happy with my nails before I leave. **They are great with my kids and treat my girls like princesses!** My boyfriend will go with us for a pedi often and he loves being able to unwind after a long work week.

Lois Kim Visiting family for spring break and needed a quick fix for my nails. Kim took me in as a walk in and did a great job! Definitely coming back whenever I’m in town!

Holly I used to hate getting my nails done! I felt uncomfortable, didn’t know what to ask for or any terminology, my cuticles were sensitive. I’d chip them within a week then pick at them and had brittle nails underneath. Came here to get something pretty done for my wedding, at my mom’s recommendation (she’s picky) and fell in love. The only time I’ve had ANYthing chip off was because I waited over 3 weeks. I always feel welcomed, nothing has hurt and it’s easy to make an appointment online. Now I look at my hands and feel beautiful! Thank you guys!

Jackson Maya “The Real MJ” Love this place. Nails always look great, pedicure options with paraffin and hot stone. Very flexible scheduling. I get the brush on gel, it’s very sturdy over my natural nails and lasts about 4 weeks for me. I would highly recommend! I switch between skinny coffin and this style. I feel it’s a feminine lengthening to my fingers.

J Hamp My first time visiting! A newbie at getting my nails done. Jessica was very patient. She answered all of my questions and gave me a tailored experience. Pricing was clearly explained and seemed fair. Quiet shop. Clean without a fumey smell. Ill definitely be back!

Jessica was phenomenal, from the assistance in helping me with styling to technique. My nails turned out so amazing and she executed my vision better than I could have imagined!! Tanya Bellard I had a wonderful experience at the salon! Kevin did my manicure with tips, and Tina took care of my pedicure. I was in a hurry, and they both understood my needs perfectly, getting me in and out quickly while still giving me beautiful nails. They were so kind and personable, making me feel right at home.
