Cynthia Moffett I had a massive stroke, 5 years ago. I am semi paralyzed on my right side. Dr. Manish Shroff would be my primary doctor. He would not, never feel kindness and compassion towards his patients. Dr. Shroffs nurse was so rude and hateful to me. I know now, I will look for a primary doctor. Dr. Shroff would not be a doctor for me

J C Literally the worst hospital to ever go to. It never fails, every time anyone of my family members has an emergency and are forced to come here, it is the worst service. The doctors are a joke, they do not care at all about their patients. The wait times are ridiculous. The rest of the staff are incompetent. You come to a hospital to seek care and most of the time come in scared, and the doctors have the audacity to laugh in your face when you ask for tests or ask to speak to them in general. Sitting here in the ER with my mother who’s bp is in the 200s and the doctor comes in laughing and refusing to treat her symptoms because my mom mentioned she had the flu days ago. Doctor said oh yea that’s what it is and when I asked if we can run tests just to be on the safe side he laughs again and says why, it’s not medically necessary and I’m not doing anything just because you ask. They give her only something for a headache and that’s it, meanwhile her pulse is dropping and her bp is staying elevated and O2 dropping. Make the drive to Odessa instead if you want actual medical care because this place is a joke. It needs to be shut down.

steven bishop Sat in ER for several hours and being told repeatedly that we were next and few hours later and multiple people (50) we’re moved before and was told several more times that we would have to wait while my wife was suffering from a fractured back. No sence of motivation for any of the staff, sevier, lack of compassion, multiple children running around screaming, staff sat on phones and laughed and joked around with each other while (60+) people waited on help that seemed to the staff more of a nuesance then they wanted to deal with staff consistently lied about when people would be seen very very very disappointed and felt extremely disrespected. No disabled combat veteran should be trea In such a despicable manner. Will be filing complaint with medical board and hospital board of directors. Don’t expect to be seen sooner then 5 hours also be cautious about using their bathrooms you might end up being exposed to blood on the toilets

Joshua Morris Terrible ER service. Nurses are rude and disrespectful. People were waiting for seven hours plus. When I asked the Nurse where I was in the waiting Que. she told me they don’t go by first come first serve. It’s who ever they want to call in the back. There is no rhyme or reason. I had been throwing up since 9 pm last night till about midnight. I told them I felt nauseous and light headed and felt bad. They don’t care about people at the hospital.

Hannah Loera My husband went in to the ER with a post operative hemorrhage in his throat after getting his tonsils out 10 days prior. The doctor was unconcerned about the bleeding a prescribed an ineffective treatment for the bleeding. After being in the ER for four hours he left with the same problem and no change, bleeding in the throat. After completing the "treatment" the doctor did not see him or recommend any follow up. He saw the doctor maybe 5 minutes of the four hour stay. When he was able to see his primary care physician a few hours later the problem was treated in 15 minutes. When we received the bill a few weeks later from the hospital his issue was deemed it a "moderately severe problem" it ended up being several thousands of dollars when his hemorrhage was unresolved. One thousand dollars of the charge was because of the severity of the problem that was untreated by the ER. Even after doing a case review with the hospital for a bill adjustment the hospital felt that "standard quality of care" had been met. If having someone come and leave with the same issue that is "moderately severe" such as a postoperative hemorrhage is their "standard of care" it makes me shudder to think of what it would look like if standard of care were not to be met. We definitely do NOT recommend and suggest going anywhere else when looking for emergency care. We will be filing complaints with Texas Health and Human Services as well as the DNV. The quality of care was unacceptable and even after giving the hospital a chance to recognize their error and adjust the bill, they refused. It was very disappointing to have this experience.

Dex 2 hr wait on room while experiencing active bleed. Lots of blood. Had 6-8 different drs while in er. Why?? Saw 14 different drs in 4 days. Nurses in icu were all very great thats why the 2 instead of zero. Month later. Just found out a bunch of the drs that came around & didnt do squat billed my insurance.
