Tee I just took the time to read over my MH record. The information is incorrect. They have my reason for visit is for substance abuse. I have never went to them or anyone else for substance abuse. It was supposed to be for PTSD. The first visit was very emotional for me but I opened up for the first time. No feedback on that.Therapist only wanted to discuss weight loss. Second visit barely a mention of my anxiety/depression. The therapist only wanted to talk about weight loss. I felt so discouraged and unheard. I NEVER went back even though I continue to suffer. The therapist should be fired! I feel violated.

Taylor Anievas Coria Manning I am thankful for my disability and "healthcare" however, what is provided here is vitamins. The first psychiatrist I saw gave me a book to pick my own medicine. The therapist upon my second visit and doing my assigned work to review for therapy grew angry that I hadnt somehow had an epiphany doing my one page assignment after our first visit simply introducing ourselves. She started to cry and tell me about how shes the only therapist and her job is very hard. Im sure....but that was supposed to be my appointments. There is nothing here. Everything goes to community care you get scanned xrayed and nothing ever goes any further because nobody ever gets paid by the VA for providing the care. Thus, nobody wants to deal with veterans. I feel ashamed walking in places all over the State Im sent for care. Sometimes community care is nearly as far as Audie Murphy! Ridiculous people.

MongerD Fun The primary care Doctors are simple medicine. If you need specialty care get ready to fight for it. Primary care Doctors are mostly useless and fail to listen to you. Again get ready to fight them to do their dam jobs. I see speciality Dr. and its great. The PCT have been a 14 year fight for me that will never end.

Robert Wippermann I have been receiving care here for four years and have been satisfied with my care. The nurses and doctors are attentive, caring and competent. If you have questions, bring a list so you dont forget anything important. Appointments have minimal waiting time, and prescriptions are sent to my home.

Laura Thorsell Love the staff at Kerrville VA, all the way from house cleaning, volunteers, maintenance staff to clerks and medical staff. "Hi, hello, how are you" are heard often in the hallways. Im seen on the Pink Team and I could not get better care and treatment from clerks to medical providers. The Optometry clinic is small but never an issue getting an appointment. The clerk acknowledges patients quickly. Optometrists are very through. The eye glass department has a very knowledgeable staff, good selection of frames and staff is well trained to help pick the right frame for the right face.
