Amy Howard Dr. Johnson is an excellent surgeon with wonderful bed side manners. He was very attentive to my concerns and very thorough in his explanations. Most of all, he is a very nice person who really cares about his patients. Best of all I experienced very little pain after my hernia surgery.

lynnette Salce After hearing my gallbladder struggles and the very lengthy wait time to see the surgeon a friend referred me to Dr. Johnson. I made a consultation appointment and to my surprise had surgery the following week. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Johnson for many reasons, he really listened to my experience, explained the procedure thoroughly and let me make the choice. As for the office staff, Misty is very attentive to details and quickly answered questions and concerns. She scheduled appointments immediately and made us feel very confident about the process. I can not recommend Dr. Johnson and his office enough. His process and professionalism is such a welcomed blessing. The entire experience exceeded my expectations.

Mark (Mark) People and service were great, but good God, it was hot in their! I didnt think they kept it that hot in places like that because it helps incubate the germs! It would have been 5 stars otherwise!

Tim Crossman Appointment went good but they didn’t go over my mri in depth and I had to ask to get a little information about it. I would really like to know what is going on in the place that was injured and have more information about it.

Stewart This place just here for the money! I came in with bad sore throat. After rapid swab for strep throat came back negative, they said there was nothing they could do its probably viral. They said theyd send off for culture to be sure. They also claimed they would follow up with me with the results. I paid and they sent me on my way. This was Saturday 12/28. That following Monday my throat hurt so bad so I called to find out results of culture. They said oh that doesnt come back for 3 to 5 business days. Well they NEVER followed up with me and I had to go back to work in pain on Thurs, Fri, Sat. I couldnt believe allllll Sunday how my throat still hurt since Dec 24 2024 and here it is still hurting as of today Jan 6, 2025. I called to ask about it only for the receptionist to act like " Well you can come back again to be seen" I asked about having to pay again for no help? She was like "well yea, its been a week." They kept putting me off for the week I was waiting...*Note to the crooks there * if I dont work your company cant put in false insurance claims for a free pay check from me or them! Its always about money today. Its sad. I told her maam I would NEVER come back here!

Glenn Dulaney Was told that I would be admitted overnight because my caretaker couldnt get back until the next morning because she was exhausted from the past week. I ended up being released and had to wait in the waiting area for more than twelve hours because I was stuck there. My insulin pump connection came out and I had to keep going and giving some insulin every two hours to try and bring it back down. Until I was released, I got excellent help. But when I was stuck for an indefinite period of time, your rating went d.

D Bostwick Fantastic hospital and staff. Efficient and professional. You are treated very well as a patient. They walked me from room to room getting my testing. I did not even have to pay attention to where I was going. I thought about how nice this service would be for someone who is elderly and struggles a little bit with directions or confusion.

Cheryll Burns My husband was scheduled a CT scan on his legs. The nurse came out and called him back there even though we was there early she went ahead and took him in. My husband told me she was very nice and concerning of making sure he was comfortable before she started. She did want she needed to do and was very sweet and she got all done very quickly. It was done Jan. 27th in the morning. This hospital has always treated him well.

Her medical assistant Mariana is great and always so sweet at every appointment! The whole office was great and so kind. Will always recommend Conroe Women’s!

Adam Dennis It is not the fault of the accounting team that they are terrible at managing the patient accounts. It is the ones in middle management that respond passive aggressively to the Google reviews instead of training their Team correctly. Great experience from all of the physicians and nurses but having a child at HCA then the Team pretending like you didn’t have any insurance every time you go in is crazy. We are charged a made-up number every time, ranging from $0-500 depending on how behind they are.
1 /5
Michelle Fontel Switching to Conroe Women’s Associates was the biggest mistake I made. I would rather drive 45 minutes elsewhere to get the care and attention I need. When I called to let them know I was sick, they took 24 hours just to respond—only to ask how I was feeling instead of actually helping me. The front desk, doctors, and nurses do not seem to care about their patients at all. I am pregnant and dealing with horrible morning sickness, yet they showed no urgency or compassion. If you are looking for a provider who truly listens and cares, I strongly suggest going somewhere else. I will not be going back.
1 /5
Adam Dennis I don’t write reviews, but I have found that this is the only way to encourage meaningful change/conversation. Evelyn is phenomenal and a 1 in a million person and midwife. The accounting/front office team has griefed us in some form or fashion every visit we have had at this location. Many of the reviews say the same thing I am about to say and at this rate I don’t think there will be meaningful change due to how many of these reviews already exist. This accounting team does not have their stuff together. They do not know how to bill. They do not take your insurance in a traditional fashion then make your wife feel like she is wrong for stating her past experiences with insurance. Every time we come we have a bad experience with your accounting and front office team. As do many others. Train your staff better.

Lisa Summers I recently visited Nova Lab for a pre-hire drug test and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the team of young ladies! They were professional, efficient, and made the entire process seamless. Considering the nature of their work, they maintained a friendly and courteous demeanor throughout. Truly, they are the A-Team! Highly recommend Nova Lab for any testing needs. 5 stars isnt enough - they deserve 10!

Cameron P I was not gunna leave a review but they kept pestering. It took well over 1.5 hours to complete a random drug screen at this place. Hands down the longest Ive ever had to wait for one in ten years of being employed.
1 /5
Eliott Nest I do not recommend this place. This clinic takes a long time to serve you. I went for a DOT physical for my CDL and I was in that clinic for more than three hours. The cost is super high, it is $162 for that exam. It really is not worth wasting so much time and money. I do not recommend them to anyone, especially if you are in a hurry.
1 /5
Tiffany Null Even though they were super busy, the staff remained incredibly friendly and helpful. I waited for about an hour but had to leave to pick up my kids before being called back. They were so understanding and accommodating, allowing me to return after I picked them up instead of having to wait until the next morning. I was truly impressed with their kindness and flexibility. Thank you all so much for your outstanding customer service!
5 /5
John Patterson Facilities is clean and neat with nice staff members as well. The only issue and reason being for a 4 star rating is the wait when having to do the test. Really 4.5 in my opinion plus Ive been using this facility for services like 7yrs now and its been up and down, but never once did I have to deal with rudeness or anything its just the wait to use the bathroom. No Im not saying they wont let you go to the bathroom so if you have to go, ask, and theyll let you do whats needed but it might take longer for your process to finish. So I wait till Im called upon and once you get to that step then its moving moving but Im a patient person as well and I usually make sure I have nothing planned to drastically that Im in a rush. Dont be rude smile and they always smile back ☺️. So 4.5 is my opinion. Hope this helps!

Roger Kopp I called this afternoon after testing positve for Covid. 58 male, chronic heart disease with 4 stints total. Diabetic with A1C tested in this office 2 weeks ago at 10.7. Ashley, so pleasantly informed me I have to see in person a doctor before I can get the covid drugs. Everything I have been told is the earlier you start the better. Well, Ashley booked an 8:15 with me Monday because their office closes in 10 mins. I again rattled off my medical conditons and again so politely said see you Monday

connie morales When I first met Dr. Moore, I thought"she is a bit rough". But after I started seeing her as my new Dr. I LOVED HER!! When my husband was killed, i had a horrible severe depression, and she took time out of her schedule to actually sit and talk to me and let me vent and cry, for over an hour. That made a bit of a difference to me. I just cant say enough good about her and her staff. AWESOME!!
5 /5
D Ben I called to schedule an appointment and encountered an extremely rude staff person on the phone. She was supposed to call me back, but never did. Its also hard to get an appointment. I like Dr. Kern - shes kind, experienced, and patient, but I dont want to deal with ugly front office staff and difficulties scheduling. I decided to switch to Kelsey-Seybold. They have labs on site, a huge team of doctors, easy online scheduling and mychart, and a much nicer staff.

Leon Gomez Ive seen Dr Kern for over 15 years. I cant imagine not having her as my primary doctor. Shes thorough, caring, and just an all-around amazing doctor. I highly recommend her.

Catherine Smith My name is Darlene, I am using a friends email because its important that you are aware of the treatment I received from this Doctor. I called Dr. Moores office with an emergency & I was told to come in at 8:30, when I got there They would not let me see a Doctor or A nurse, they took a urine sample and said come back at 1:45. I ask them if they would take my blood pressure (I knew it was high) and they absolutely refused. This was a really scary situation for me, instead of care and compassion....I was treated hatefully, no one cared that I was scared for my health and they treated me as if I was a child, and as if I was stupid. I felt like I was being reprimanded and scolded, instead of my genuine concerns being dealt with. When I came back at 1:45, Dr. Moore came in the room with a stone cold face, sat in front of me in the most unprofessional way with her legs spread wide open and she proceeded to tell me there was nothing wrong with me all the while writing me a prescription. This Doctor and her nurse made me feel so horrible as if everything was in my head. Just wanted share my experience, and as for me I will never ever go back to see her for any reason. And just for the record she doesnt deserve 1 star, but you have to put at least 1 to review. Sincerely Darlene

Waverly Inman Our sons dental surgery went as smooth as smooth could be. Hes 20 has Autism and Epilepsy. He was treated like a prince and we were treated like the King and Queen. Everyone was so nice, helpful, considerate and caring. It really warmed my heart. We drove 4 hours and it was WELL worth it. This is our "Home" hospital from now on for our son. They even called 2 days later to check on him. He was an actual patient and not just a number. Thanks to everyone involved.

Tara Johnson I had a disappointing experience at this hospital due to the poor communication among staff. After being admitted in March, I spent four nights in Post Surgical care—despite my admission being unrelated to surgery—and found that none of the providers were aligned on my next steps. I received conflicting information from different doctors, to the point where I was even advised to seek care at another facility that could better meet my needs. While I was frustrated with the lack of professionalism from the providers, I want to highlight the amazing nursing staff and the director and manager, who were truly compassionate. The nurses genuinely cared, and the wonderful PCTs always knew how to bring a smile to my face. Its unfortunate that my overall experience fell short, given the exceptional care from the nursing team.

D. C. My experience was as an outpatient to the Imaging department and for labs. I filled out most of my paperwork online ahead of time so my check-in process was pretty smooth. I arrived early thinking I could do my labs first but due to the nature of my labs requirements, I had to do them after the imaging because more time was needed. That was fine. The technician performing my ultrasound was very polite and professional and the process went smoothly. Then, I went for my blood draw and was super hungry because I had to fast overnight for the ultrasound but not for the blood work and it was already 10:00 a.m. Brenda, the nice phlebotomist who drew my blood, offered me a choice of snacks and a water and I happily plucked a bag of cheetos from her stash. I immediately felt better. Brenda was very thorough with her job and pleasant to talk to during the process. After that I was good to go. Within 2 days, I had all of my test results delivered to my patient portal and sent to my doctor. Overall, my experience was very good and everyone who helped me at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe were friendly, helpful and professional.

J Allen This was by far the worst hospital experience I have ever had. It started in the ER when they said they were going to admit me, I asked for a transfer and they said “well we have already admitted you and there should be a bed ready soon”. At this point I didn’t have a choice unless I went AMA because the transfer process we asked to be initiated had still not made it to the individual capable of making that happen (16 hours after admittance there was still no update given on the transfer papers). They are not staffed to make necessary rounds or to come to your room if you press the medical nurse call button, or to even relay information to the charge nurse when requested. A few times of using the nurse call to ask for someone, that individual was never informed of the call and we had to physically find them to have them come to the room. A couple of nurses were good that we had, but other than that, we did not have a good experience. One day nurse stated she “misread” the orders needed to be done when I questioned them and couldn’t answer a single question for us without beating around the bush. When we asked a question to anyone (except the charge nurse), I was told “I will get back to you” and never had a follow up, and every doctor is on a different page and some do not tell you what orders are being done and why. The lead charge nurse finally came in and we discussed the issues and she oversaw my care the rest of the time, which I was grateful for as she was the only nurse that gave us any answers our entire stay. I had to have an echo done and over 24 hours later, they said they couldn’t fit me in STILL and had to stay another day stating that I would be seen in the morning… Which is what I was told multiple times throughout the 24 hours of waiting so I have ZERO trust in this hospitals communications or that the tests would actually be completed at said time. Ultimately, the doctors said I could discharge and reschedule the echo through an outpatient appointment and I will go to a different hospital if I feel necessary in the meantime. This was the ONLY test that the doctors needed the entire time and no one could get it done. Not sure how a test that was made to seem so important for diagnosing what was going on could be changed to an outpatient appointment at a later date. We will never come back here, do not waste your time or money here.

Nevaeh Bell I ended up getting an infection 3 weeks after my emergency c-section, my stay for my labor and delivery was wonderful, however my stay for my infection was horrible. The nurses who were taking care kept getting all my information wrong. When I told nurses I was in pain they did nothing. I had a high fever and the nurse ran a covid test and flu test and told me it was negative and I was able to go to the nicu to see my son, later I found out I wasn’t supposed to be in the nicu until 24hrs after my fever was gone potentially putting other babies at risk. Once my fever was finally gone for 24hrs and I was going to the nicu to see my son the nurse yelled at me and told me I couldn’t go. They gave me unnecessary physical therapy, even the physical therapist was confused. Literally the worst experience in my life. I just wanted to leave

She’s extremely thorough, knowledgeable, empathetic, friendly, and takes her time at appointments. Kristen Martin In general I have always had great experiences with them. My father is elderly and my son has epilepsy, so I’m a frequent flier with them. This last trip, however, I was treated terribly by the medics. My 90 year old father had blue fingers. Zero circulation. Fell. I couldn’t get him to the ER myself, and the senior medic complained about being a limo service for people who could drive themselves in. Really disappointed.

Krystal Rotramel MCHD has some of the most unprofessional employees I’ve ever seen. They argue. They refuse to follow facility policies when entering them, and argue about that too. Dwane Swonke This place was an utter disappointment. They have no clue when it comes respiratory therapy. My mom left worse than when she arrived and they said they couldn’t help her. She’s back in the hospital today on spontaneous breathing. Cornerstone had her vent dependent. Do not take your loved ones to this facility. They will promise you the world but can’t deliver. That’s my experience!

Ott Valerie We had a phenomenal stay at Cornerstone! From admission to discharge, every aspect of our experience was outstanding. The nurses, techs, and therapists were all amazing—kind, attentive, and truly dedicated to making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The admin staff was incredibly helpful, and even the janitorial service went above and beyond to keep everything spotless. The food was surprisingly great, which made our time there even better. We highly recommend Cornerstone for anyone needing exceptional care. Thank you to the wonderful staff for everything!

Vivian Green My sister was in Cornerstone for over a month. The nurses and doctors are excellent but the Care Specialists is horrible. The doctors have to do what the Specialists says. My sister took a turn for the worst while she was there. The doctor called me. I told him I didnt want her to transition in Conroe. I asked him would he transfer her back to her home town. He said yes. Someone was talking to him ( I could hear them over the phone) and told him the Care Specialists had to make that decision. The Care Specialists had told me when she was admitted they wanted her to stay to a certain date. Well they kept her to one day after that date. The medical staff is great. They took very good care of my sister but the Care Specialists needs to be gone. I think l dont know for sure but I think they had already billed her insurance and didnt want to return the money because she was being discharged early. Like I said the doctors and nurses are excellent They did what she went there for. The Care Specialists needs to be fired

Dave Ashley So going to comment about the nasty ice machines that I used to take care of they were so clean even Jesus could drink out of them but now since incompetent mike green is there everyone thinks he must be mr impeccable lol what a poor excuse of a manager the health department should be notified. Ok Im not an employee there " thank God" if you still have a mike green still working there I feel sorry for you are the ice machines still dirty ? Its a shame that if he is there he dont care .

Anessa Isa Dr. Yousuf is great with my baby and gives me peace of mind. Front desk is great as well. My only complaint is the wait. Both times I’ve gone I’ve had to wait for a little over an hr WITH A BABY! It’s quite annoying but once my baby is seen the visit is about 15 minutes. I’ll update this review if it gets any better.

Stephanie Morano Dr. Ahmed didnt not remember us after seeing us less than 36 hours after her first appointment. The medical assistant and front desk girl called my daughter the wrong name and also have in their system the wrong name after correcting them multiple times so technically my daughter isn’t a patient there. After waiting a week for a referral for her tongue tie they referred us to at Luke’s telling them we had blue cross blue shield insurance when we don’t. Highly don’t recommend!

Heather Whitaker The guy working the front desk was so friendly and professional! I think he was a nurse formerly but I hope he never leaves the front desk! He’s awesome! We love Ms. Sarah! She makes it so easy to talk to her and she truly cares. Everything about our visit was great! From the front desk to the nurse who gave us our papers to leave. 10/10 recommend!

Brian Wilson My 3 sons have had Dr. Ahmed as their pediatrician for over 2 years but we are now going through the process of moving them to another Doctor. I should have done it sooner but Dr. Ahmed can be very personable in person so I tried to make it work, at my kids expense. His front office is really unprofessional and petty. The last straw was my sons scheduled Televisit with the doctor. They left school early to attend this 4:15 call. By 4:45 they are calling me at work saying that the Doctor was not there. I called the front office and they were acted as though I was unreasonable for even asking to go remind the doctor that two kids were waiting for their appointment. I called back at 4:55 and the front desk took pleasure in telling me that Doctor Ahmed had left early and told them to reschedule the appointment. As unprofessional and shocking as that is, it is even worse when you consider they didnt even call to tell me this. There were satisfied to let these two kids wait on a video call for a doctor who never intended to come. Save yourself the trouble and disrespect.

Elise Lowe I recommend Ms. Sarah or Dr. Ahmed whole heartedly. Both of them are very caring and my kids are very comfortable with them. My daughter is 3 and just randomly talks about Dr. Ahmed. Yesterday while I was driving she said "Dr med is my best friend". Its very welcoming when the doctors tickle and play with the babies. Weve used this office since I had my first, and I dont plan to change.

A C This place is good for one thing and that is negligence. No one seems to care to give the medical care that is needed. They may say the "right" things , play the role of caring but when it is all said and done you find that you are just a genie pig for the resident(s) that treated you. Unfortunately it may take some time before you realize this, so skip this place and find yourself a REAL doctor. I highly recommend you NOT use this place. This is for the Conroe location. As you read the reviews prior, much of the same thing.

Bennie Regarding the one star off - reception staff take a very long time to answer or call you back if you leave a message (which truly might have something to do with call volume, but I don’t know). It would be helpful to get a “you’re number # in line” message. I’ve had to follow up with them a few times myself after several days had passed. Regarding medical staff though, Heather Lowrey is incredible. She’s one of the providers who has always listened to me and didn’t ignore my concerns. She doesn’t rush you. She answers all of your questions. She’s very friendly too. Could not recommend her more.

Susan Dinaso I am not one to leave reviews so you know this is making me mad. So far not impressed at all, it has taken so many times to try and get anyone on the phone to schedule an appointment. I have NEVER waited this long for an appointment before in my life. I am now on my 3rd time of calling on the day and it doesnt matter if its early morning, evening, lunch time its nearly impossible to reach anyone. The one time I did I ended up getting someone to call me I was put on hold because they couldnt figure out my insurance, and we got disconnected and then of course wasnt able to receive the call. After over 30 minutes of being on hold I am STILL waiting to talk to someone. They also have this patient portal to where you can chat with someone; but it doesnt work. Come on man, do better.

Jakki Coleman The worst clinic I have ever been too. They cancel appointments and don’t tell you until the morning of the appointment. They have no consideration of people’s time/money. I waited almost 3 weeks for them to submit a prior authorization form to my insurance company got my medication. They kept lying to me saying it was submitted. I had to go to the doctor’s office twice plus call up there four times before they took care of it. Guess what? Today was supposed to be my daughter’s first ob/gyn appointment. It was cancelled this morning.

Fred McIntosh I have always been very happy with all respects of Lone Star Family Health Clinic. The web portal is easy to use & gives me access to test results & prescriptions. Dr. Hallbauer has helped me get my diabetes under control. My A1C has gone from 12+ to 7.3 within 30 days. He helped me recover from a fall (where I broke a vertebrae & my clavicle) in the shortest amount of time possible. Dr. Hallbauer might be the best doctor I have ever encountered in my 61 years. I have never had any issues contacting my doctor via phone but their web portal seems like the best form of communication. It’s very easy & no hold times like you might encounter with phone calls. I will give them a 5 star review because they earned it.

She need 2 months in advance, the customer lady said… and for some reason this person put me on an appointment for April 1 wish it’s on Saturday and said check on us to see if we can do the appointment before the date.. and i didn’t know that they don’t open on Saturday. This was my first time going. So i went and everything was closed. I left a voicemail and i got a call saying that the appointment it’s may 1 !! What!!!! No thank you. This it’s a bad start and if they conduct business this way i don’t think it’s a good idea to try this place.

Linda Rogers Went to see her with a sever sprain and she was set up to do a complete well woman examine instead. After going through all of her reasons that she thought I should be there she looked at my foot and decided that it was not broken. Gave me a prescription for an x-ray and I was to wait a week. My foot was 4 times its normal size and black and blue. I finally had the x-ray done and it was not broken, took the office over three days to call the results back and if it was not better in two weeks to call them back and they would refer an orthpedic As of today my ankle is still weak and swollen but it is better.

I had my appointment with Dr. Elena Garcia , and she took the time to sit down with me, listen to my concerns and address any issues or questions that I had. Angela Phillips Horrible experience. I would never recommend this location to anyone and I brought this location business from my entire family. Whom are also experiencing their own issues with them. They treated me like I was trash. And now my father whom they do not know has any relation to me has been having the worst experience as well. I came in for a check up and was kicked out just for asking questions regarding the excessive billing charges they were charging me. No one wanted to explain anything to me. Doctor Elena Garcia was being EXTREMELY difficult to work with and tremendously rude. Not only do I think this clinic needs to be investigated IF NOT shut down for violations & protocols they are not following, I do truly believe Dr. Garcia is not worthy of working for the greater community. This experience was a complete shock to me. Never in my life have I ever received this type of service from a medical center whom sworn an oath to provide the best service to the community they are serving.

Ashley Wilson I recently saw Dr. Estela Rodriguez Alonso. Her medical assistant took a very thorough history and documented all my current symptoms. The MA then left to go give her report to Dr. Rodriguez. She came back a few times with follow up questions. I thought it was odd that the doctor kept sending the MA back and forth to ask further questions instead of coming in to speak with me herself, but it was no big deal. Once the doctor came in I could tell she was very cookie cutter and had a one-size-fits-all approach to medicine. I gave her a list of about 20 symptoms, including extreme fatigue all day long, dramatic weight gain over a very short period of time, hair falling out in clumps, 7 new food allergies in the last 6 months, etc. The list went on and on. I am young and these issues are debilitating to my daily life. She ordered a very basic blood panel. I told her in the past my reverse T3 has been low (it’s a thyroid marker not included on a basic thyroid panel). She didn’t order it. She insisted I am likely anemic, despite saying I didn’t have any visible signs of anemia when she checked under my eye lids and did a physical exam. There was a poster on the wall listing symptoms of hormone imbalance. I pointed out that I had all the symptoms except insomnia and asked if she could test for that. She told me no, I only needed a basic blood test to check my TSH and anemia. I get a call from the MA the next day saying my blood test are all normal and the doctors only suggestion is to try a vitamin D supplement to see if it helps with my energy. She is not going to order any further testing or address any of the 20+ symptoms I am having. Apparently I just need to live like this and there is no solution because a total of 5 blood markers look okay.

Al Dr. Rodriguez was awesome, glad to finally have a doctor that asks questions and wants to get to the bottom of my specific issues. Was very comfortable. Office staff were very nice. Will Bagarino If I can give ZERO stars, I would. This facility is completely inconsiderate of its patients and have no sense of urgency to treat their patients. I had an appointment back in August and they were supposed to order a CPAP machine. It’s been 4 months and I still have yet to receive anything. I have called for updates numerous times and they just give the same answer, that they will reach out. They just give you the run around and don’t put forth an effort to help. Dr. Schlett’s nurse team is god awful, specifically Neyda Moncayo and Dorinda Seay. I highly recommend AGAINST using to this facility for any kind of health treatment.

Alicia Quiroz Dr. Adiet is a great doctor and is very knowledgeable. The office, however, is very disorganized and he never ceases to be late to every appointment I’ve had with him. I’ve also had two virtual visits and he has been at least an hour late. Shows lack of care for patients and their time. The ladies in the office are nice but they also lack organization. I’ve had to remind them twice to send my labs over so they could be ready in time for my appointments. I’ve tried several times hoping the outcome would be different and every time has been a disappointment. Have since decided to part ways.

I wanted to reschedule but the women in the office was rude and said she would have to talk to the Dr to see when I could get another appointment. I never knew Drs had to approve appointments! She kept telling me she would call me back after he got back to her. Awww. Of course she never called me back. I had to call and call and she finally decided to tell me he could see me in 3 months. What???? She was extremely un professional and I wonder if the Dr knows what kind of employee he has representing him. I even told her I really need to see him because Im on medication. And I also guess they have no compassion for seniors either. Unbelievable the rudeness and lack of empathy from the women in the office. Im still in shock!!!!!

Who does that-what a special touch and a welcome treat! He is very talented, a fantastic listener, engaging, thought provoking and a leader in the industry. You know a good doctor always has a great nurse! Knowing this, and after meeting Dr. Gonzalez, I am not at all surprised nurse Leslie was equally amazing. She is thorough, emotionally intelligent and goes above and beyond to make sure her patient has an exceptional customer experience. What a great first touch point and an equally great way to kick off a new patient appointment. Well done team!

Time&TimeAgain Absolutely disgusted with this place and it is an absolute useless waste of precious time, effort, and energy. All they do is give people drugs and send them on their way. They are not interested is helping those with mental health issues. They are not there to prevent someone from making drastic decisions when in a distraught state of mind. I visited this disgrace of a clinc recently because I am personally having mental health issues and am to the point of not being able to be left alone with myself, I do not have the funds available at the moment for some fancy expensive counselor but I am trying with every thing I have left inside me to hold on to life and find help. They told me they could not help me and sent me away with a bunch of papers for counselors all hours away from me. That isnt helpful. I like many others do not have the financial ability to drive hours away for help when I need it most. It is hard enough to just get up and brush my hair everyday. I left with the overwhelming feeling of hopelessness and cried my heart out because I feel everywhere Ive looked, Ive been turned away. This was where I was recommend to go buy offices that dont have inexpensive services and services I cant afford, because they turned me away aswell. Im not looking for medication to numb my body, Im looking for help. According to their website and brochures, and posters blasted all over their walls, help is what they offer. But after driving an hour and sitting for another hour or so, when I was finally able to speak with them face to face, that is in fact a lie. Do not go here hoping to find help, do not waste what precious energy you have left while being in a distraught mental state hoping for a helping hand, a listening ear or any kind of compassion for mental health. You will be pushed through like youre just another check mark on a tally board of people whom pass through here. You will be met with rejection here, you will be told, "we can not help you unless youre schizophrenic and we only give out medication." Another part of our failed system in society. I wonder how many have left here feeling as hopeless as I did because it was basically a last resort, or maybe an only resort for some. I wonder how many lives were lost due to the negligence of this place and basically telling people "we just offer medication" or "we only help with basic depression or schizophrenia". There are so many suffering with all forms of mental illnesses that cause depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide and self harm. Not just schizophrenia. They dont always have, money or the resources to for $200 sessions with some fancy therapist. Yet they too need help, they too need someone to recognize them, to see them to help them. Shame on this establishment, shame on their employees for treating people the way they do, shame on them for lying about their services, shame for casting people away and on them and the system for failing to treat people as human beings and not just another checklist to get through before lunch.

Reina Perez They lie! We visited because we were refer from our health insurance that we could do our annual checkup for free here. Since we schedule the appointment we explain that is all we wanted to do, we said it to the receptionist, to the nurse and to the young doctor that treated. We specify all we want is to complete the annual check up, we dont want anything else that will incur in charge. She said she understood and not to worry. All we did was answer questions, we didnt ask anything and we didnt consult anything. And now they are billing us for additional services then the annual check up.

Derrick Threatt Go here if you want to be treated like a PAYtient and not a patient. I rarely give negative reviews but I have to do so in this matter. Hopefully since I am a Level 7 reviewer this sticks at the top. Myself wife and 4 kids have been going here over 2 years and this place is the most cutthroat uncompassionate office I’ve ever visited. All they care about is insurance payments and nothing else. Getting a call back is next to impossible and it’s always a one hour wait no matter the time of your appointment. Only 1 person Jannie has been helpful. I’m not sure the doctors know how poorly this office staff runs this business but I’m going to be moving my household to another doctor immediately. Brandi The hospital and Dr that I dealt with was nice but the social worker, Brian was awful. My dad was there temporarily due to ongoing mental health issues. Instead of helping to get him transferred to Tomball Hospital so he could get the psychiatric care he needed and have his meds evaluated he kept trying to tell me how my dad was fine. Brian kept telling me that not only did he think my dad was fine and very well behaved that all the staff did to and he didn’t think he would be transferred to Tomball. Even after speaking with the assisted living facility that my dad lives at he doubted that anything was wrong with him and he was fine. The assisted living facility had extreme incidents that occurred involving my dad and we all we’re concerned about his safety and the safety of others. Brian refused to believe anything and thought my dad should be released. After knowing my dad for 4 days he thought he knew him better apparently. The nurse and director at my dads assisted living facility were as frustrated with the social worker as I was. Brian was condescending and rude and I am happy to say that besides his unprofessional opinion my Dad is at Tomball getting the help he desperately needs and deserves. Disgusted with Brian.

Cortnee Riddle This was by far the worst hospital I have ever been to. My father who is on palliative care and needed his shunt addressed was not seen for hours. No room was given, and all treatment was done in the waiting area for patients. Blood draws, IV’s, oxygen all set up in the waiting area with no privacy. If you request to leave you are quickly threatened with AMA. As a nurse I was able to address what needed to be done so we could leave immediately. I feel horrible for anyone who has no advocate in this place. I understand that the hospital may be at capacity with patients but this was beyond disturbing. For a hospital that is rated so highly, I was very disappointed in the bed side manner and lack of care. It was more comparable to the care given in a third world country. They need to be audited and change needs to take place. I do not recommend going here if you need to be seen urgently. It’s disgusting.

Shadow Wright My mom ‘s follow up appointment after ending up in the ER with a possible micro stroke was cancelled out from under us, treated like it wasn’t urgent and important. My mom needed additional testing outpatient that Methodist hospital refused to do when she was still in the hospital. Even after this Doctors’ office was made aware that both my mom and me were hypoglycemic, they still told us we would have to wait an unrealistic amount of time to see a doctor. I also have a seizure disorder where low blood sugar can trigger a seizure. They don’t care. We are sitting here in the office as I am typing this because I cannot afford to just go home without a diagnosis for her since this is the tenth time now with no good explanation from doctors. This amounts to a combination of refusal to treat and gross irresponsibility on the part of medical professionals not to mention callous apathy.

The fish tank provided a calming distraction during waits, making the experience significantly less stressful for her. During our recent visit, I noticed many children and parents were also saddened by the tanks removal. Some young parents even expressed disappointment that a nostalgic part of their own childhood experience was now missing for their kids.

Eve TideRise I have to start off by saying the attention and care here is disappointing. I used to take my kid to the southwest location but we moved up to Conroe and I was happy to finally have a closer pediatrics but I won’t be coming back here I’ll just drive the hour and a half back to Houston, if that means my child is better taken care of over there. I’ve come to this location twice for my toddlers check up and this was just not it. Ms.Rollys way of performing a wellness check up is just too quick?? And not in a good way. When she was checking her breathing im guessing to hear her lungs and all that she was going so quick to the point where im like can you even hear anything with how fast she was moving? The thing that ticked me off was that i asked if i could please get some Tylenol or ibuprofen prescribed because every single time she gets her shots she get sick and has fever for like a day or two and she told the nurse to tell me to just get it over the counter. I heard her say that she could prescribe it but I’m guessing she just didn’t want to? It’s little things that just don’t sit right with me, even when I was asking her a question she didn’t look at me I felt like I was an inconvenience by being there, like I’m sorry I had to come? The nurses I will say were very nice.

Ashley H I love this practice. The front staff is helpful and kind. The nurses are efficient and respectful and most of all we love Dr. Prihoda. She is awesome! Very responsive and takes our twins care very seriously. We also love that they use Epic MyChart. It’s so helpful. This is a great pediatric practice.

Save A Life CPR Safety Training The front administration staff is unprofessional. I would like to say the group as whole. They have rescheduled my grandsons appointment 3 times. We have no notice the day before. Their excuse is that Dr will not be in that day . This had literally changed 3 people work schedule for nothing. We will be looking for a new pediatrician.

atem fontem Id have to agree with the recent review about how non personable one of the doctor’s in this location is. Barely addresses any concerns and visit is a quick in and out. Just didn’t feel comfortable with my last few visits and unfortunately, this may be the last

Isaac Mejia Martinez This VA facility has earned 5 stars from me. I usually don’t need reminders of my appointments since I track my stuff very closely but I have had a few times where I forgot an important detail and they called to follow up. I have not had a bad experience and I have been visiting this facility for a year now. Fellow Vets, yes wait times are long but do your research and come prepared to set your self up for success and get the great medical help we earned with our hard work. Thank you to the front desk staff as they are always patient and so knowledgeable. As well as the providers.

Dibbin Please visit this VA to see how bad it is. The employees have vape pens on their desks. The nurse walks out of the room when you are talking to her. The employee I was supposed to talk to me about my injury was high. The employees here also need to be drug tested. The employees also have Air B&Bs and talk about it at work which is a conflict of interest. I have all telephonic evidence if needed. They put me on hold and I heard everything and recorded it. Choose another VA.

Andres Zapata What a great facility and to know our tax dollars are well spent like this place. Located on the 3rd and 4th floor, the Conroe location is a very nicely build facility for our VETS. Staff were amazingly professional and very fast with checking in. Nurses and technicians were true champions on their duties. Thank you Conroe VA. Highly recommended if you live north of FM 1960.

Brandi wetegrove The staff here is very unprofessional, they are hateful to the vets being seen here. No wonder the vets start to feel like no one cares that they are suffering. A nurse was taking blood from a family member of mine and yelled to “raise your elbow” so he did and she yells at him, “I didnt say bend your elbow I said raise it”. This is just one example. A doctor telling him “I Dont even know why your here.” He has a rash head to toe, painful back pain, and stomach pain. He had Anerisym at 5.2. and could rupture. Then what VA?? Next?? So much more to this. Do Better and treat the vets as if they are your own family member. Vets if you are reading this YOU MATTER, YOUR HEALTH MATTERS and YOU ARE LOVED!

Terry Butler I have been going to conroe va clinic for almost 3 years, i drive there from kingwood. At first i could get in and be seen fairly quick. Now it is like 3 months to get seen by my doctor. And also you used to be able to go in anytime to get labs done, now its also at least 2 weeks to get them done. I have always been treated very nice by all of the staff. Truely the 2 complaints i have is,#1 the length of time you have to spend on hold to try and make an appointment, and #2 the length of time it takes to see your doctor.

David Voncannon Very sketchy place. I was supposed to have a colonoscopy done there, but when I tried to find out when the appointment would be, they initially told me that the day my doctor wanted was not scheduled yet and they would call me when they do. This was a week away from when it was supposed to happen. Finally, 3 days before it was supposed to happen, they call to get my medical history. I told the girl right then that I still did not know when it would be and would not commit to anything till I know what my estimated out of pocket would be. She then went on to say that it could be this, or that, but they cannot tell me because it all depends on what anesthesia they are using that day and what the doctor finds. This is a violation of federal law that states that they have to give us an solid good faith estimate before a procedure. Obviously, feeling uncomfortable, I told the girl to cancel any procedures. She said okay. Well, this morning, the day they wanted to do the procedure they call me wondering where I was. I told her this was canceled days ago and that I had never even been given a time of when it would be. She said that there was no record of that call. How is that possible? The only reason I am posting this review is because of how shady this place seems to be. To not know when a procedure will be a week before it is ridiculous. To not be able to give a straight answer on cost is also illegal and sets up patients for a surprise bill in the mail.

Jacob Imhoff This place is trying to charge a "facility fee" of over $400 and stating that my insurance doesnt cover it. Under the ACA any history of colonoscopy in your family is covered as preventative. My Doctor listed it in my chart as family history but this place said its not covered. I cant afford the fee now so I have to gamble and hope nothing is wrong with me. I do not know how these people sleep at night.

Janell Blessed I knew the first time I walked into the lobby and heard Christian music playing that I was in the right place. The morning I walked in for my surgery, I was anxious but calm ( yes you can be both at the same time lol) 6 am in the morning although you could see the receptionist was a little tired she still gave a smile and a kind demeanor to each person as they came in to sign paperwork and wait to be called back for their turn of this minor day surgery. Although minor , anytime you’re being put under anesthesia you can’t help but know the risk these days so people are still nervous. The nurse called me back and I wish I remembered every single persons name because they were all amazing , but Kristi I believe was my nurse. She did such a good job putting an iv in my hand that it was the cleanest one I’ve ever had . Phyllis was my anesthesia person who would stay with me during the entire surgery , she comforted my concerns and reassured me that she would take good care of me while I was under . I took a really long time waking up the last time I had a minor surgery and she was determined she would help me not have that same experience. I heard her treating the other patients with the same gentleness in the area beside me . The nursing team worked double so early in the morning helping me with a kind voices and gentle hearts . They even paid special attention to my comfort in the surgery room. I have a pinched nerve in my neck and they made sure I was completely comfortable so I wouldn’t wake up in pain afterwards before putting me to sleep . I woke up to the same kind hearted nurses saying good morning sunshine, your awake and it didn’t take you long at all to wake up . I was so relieved and felt so blessed to have such a wonderful team to help me . Dr. Shahzad my amazing dr was right there as well to talk with me about my results in just minutes . I would recommend Dr Shahzad to anyone Looking for a good gi doctor .Parkside even called me a couple days later just to check on my well-being. They are a caring and efficient surgery center and I myself feel blessed that I went through this day with this place . Thank you everyone from Parkside Surgery Center , you guys are amazing and God sent .

Karen Bennett My husband was charged $800 for his recent endoscopy. After reviewing the EOB from the insurance company, I discovered the insurance company paid all but $400 of the claim. I have tried to contact the clinic for 3 weeks now to request a refund for the $400 overpayment; however, nobody will answer the phone. It just rings for about 5-6 times and then disconnects.

chio 2802 I had a procedure done on March 2018 at this facility. Well A YEAR AND A HALF LATER- 2 weeks ago I received a bill from the anesthesiologist for 3k!! It would have been nice if this facility had let me know that the anesthesiologist they work with was out of network with my insurance. I ALWAYS make sure that I am in network wherever I go, so I know I asked if the doctor and the facility we’re IN NETWORK, please let your patients know if one of your providers is out of network. Now I know before I get any anesthesia to ask if they are in network with my insurance, y’all see patients everyday and I’m sure people ask please inform us when your anesthesiologist is out of network! Can’t trust anybody! To ALL patients make sure you ask if even the nurse is in network, because you might get a medical bill that you were not expecting!

Jinna Carrillo If given the choice, I would have given zero stars. This facility closed down permanently back in May 2024, and still has the website up stating hours of business, address, and working telephone number. I drove out to their location to get an X-ray, since they never answered the phone, or gave me a call back, only to find out this disappointing news. They really should update their website!

(238) Reviews Emergency Room at HCA Houston Conroe:

Tina Loflin I was in the ER due to heart issues. After hours I was admitted. It took 26 hours to get into a room. For 26 hrs I had to sit , and watch people cry in pain because they had been forgotten and their pain was unbearable, people that looked perfectly fine get in and out. only 1 nurse was kind enough to get me into a triage room for a few hrs to sleep some what comfortable. At shift change many people including myself were taken out of rooms and put back into the lobby or in beds in the hallway of the ER. I had multiple tests done within the 26 hrs thankfully. By the time I was moved into a room monitored overnight. The nurses were very kind on the 1st floor and were baffled that I had to wait so long. In the morning I had 1 test done and released within hours with only 45 seconds of the ER drs time. Couldnt ask many questions as he was in and out. Thankfully my nurse was able to assist me and lead me in the direction I needed. I will advise if you have a MINOR issue use an urgent care as it takes less time to get a test done or be assisted. Flu was all around the hospital in which you can be seen by a Dr or urgent care. Hospitals are for EMERGENCIES. I really hope HCA gets a better hold of things and better protocols when dealing with capacity issues. I have attached a picture of myself in a hallway while there were 2 empty rooms right next to me.

heather burgess My husband got bit by a cat and we went to stand alone ER getting IV Antibiotics every few hours. After 15 hours, the infection was spreading faster and was getting worse. They were afraid of him developing sepsis because nothing was working. They asked if we had a preference of hospitals to have him transferred to because he needed to be admitted. We said no(lesson learned). We were sent to HCA (due to open beds maybe?) and opted into driving ourselves. We were told to just go to the desk when we walked in and tell them we have a room and give them our documents. The guy at the front desk took us to room 15, poked his head in and said "oh.. this one is looks dirty..." a disheveled guy came behind him and said "no its not. I just didnt clean the information board (where the names of the attendants are)." Honestly, his attitude and demeanor made me think he absolutely was a trainee or someone on the janitorial team. Nope! He was the RN. When we walked in, there was blood on the floor, bandaid wrappers on the floor, syringe wrappers behind the bed, and there was blood on the bed frame AND the mattress. The nurse practitioner came in while Alan(RN) was still charting. She was very apathetic and flippant about the situation: looking at our papers but asking the same things that were notated there from the last Doctors notes. I was getting a really bad feeling so I said "not to be rude, but are you sure this was cleaned ?? I see blood and trash on the floor and theres blood on the bed..." Nurse practitioner didnt say anything but Alan, without looking away from the computer said "yes. Im sure. I dont have a mop or broom here. But when Im done with this, Ill scrub the floor for you." I was seething. They both left (Alan did wipe up only the blood on the floor first) and I told my husband we were leaving. I went to the nurse station and asked for a patient liaison because this was not okay and we wanted to leave. They got the ER manager and she was very nice. She acknowledged that the room was unacceptable but mentioned things get missed and she mentioned Alan was coming off shift and was a contract nurse. She tried so hard to get us to let them have a chance and we kept saying no and that we wanted to be transferred. She told us she would but it could take 12-24 hours but she has a nice nurse if we wanted to stay. We said no, well just go on our own. She said were going to have to say we are leaving against medical advice and sign a form. My husband said "no problem. I have a serious infection and I dont want to die here." We went to ST. Lukes and we ended up getting admitted fairly fast, but we did have to wait 11 hours in the ER for a hospital room to be opened. It was worth the 11 hour wait to be moved up stairs at ST Lukes all day no questions. Sad I didnt get more photos. I was so angry.

Thomas Green A few months ago, I had to take my pregnant wife to the ER. HCA Conroe was the closest, we didnt do too much research other than finding an "in network" location. I would not recommend this emergency room. We waited a couple hours, though it was a noticeably slow day for an ER. They gave her an IV and we waited some more. Eventually we got a room, where we waited 3 more hours to be seen twice. The first time to tell us she needed to give a sample for them to do tests, including pregnancy, which we already knew she was pregnant and it wasnt necessary, the other to give us a possible diagnosis. It was pretty clear what the issue was, but we had to go to an ER due to it being pregnancy and not just a normal situation. After 7+ hours of waiting, seeing the PA for a total of 4 minutes for him to give us an outlandish possibility to which we denied an ultrasound to check for, though we accepted the the reasonable diagnosis which was easily confirmed by the test. We were charged an insane amount after the insurance adjustment, not only by the hospital, but by the PA as well. Unless your health care is covered completely, Id recommend finding a more reasonable place to get checked out. Youll wait a while, and pay a lot with minimal care.

Bryn Matthews Got to the ER at 1:45 Went to kiosk to check in and it says twice on the kiosk to speak to a person at the desk immediately if you have chest pains instead of using the kiosk to sign in. And no one was at the desk. Had to wait 10 minutes because kiosk was not working until a security person came up unplugged it then plugged it back in it took 5 minutes just to load up and it finally loaded up when someone showed up at the desk who said to sign in at kiosk which again says to talk to people with chest pains. Waited 30 minutes to be triaged which the man in triage had a tone of not caring and trying to get my husband to say he does drugs even though he hasn’t. He was trying to force him to say yes. After getting through triage he waited another 20 minutes for an x ray which took 5 minutes. They told him 45 minutes to get the digital x-rays. At 3am we were taken to reception to check in again at 3:09 we were finally taken back. He was taken back with a group of people to the actual emergency department. Hooked back up to EKG told he was getting a blood drawn in a bit. 3:21 came in to put in an IV and draw blood. (Used bandaids on the floor of the exam room). Nurse practitioner came in at 4:15 to check in and ask questions. Random nurses came in at 4:51 saying another patient left something in the room while my husband was taking a nap while we wait and were very loud banging cabinets and drawers and left them open. 5:25 went up to desk to try to get some type of answers. Still no one has come to talk about stuff. 5:29 nurse came and drew blood we told them to call us if there’s anything and we will check the portal but we are fed up. NP came in 5:31 said “we do not play with chest pain” (all cabinets are left open and drawers bandaid still on floor). Left at 5:48 No one seemed to have the same answers for anything. One person said they draw blood once and it will take an hour. Then the NP said that they do it twice (an hour after first draw she came in said nurse will be back any minute to draw blood again) when I went to get someone at 5:25 they came back to draw blood again and the nurse changed his first statement to say they draw it twice two hours apart. Get under the same practice and agree on treatments! This place was awful. And if you really didn’t play with chest pains we wouldn’t have had such a terrible experience.

bananaTNO I only went here as I’m familiar with the hospital as I used to work at the call center for Solis Mammography scheduling patients and they have a location in this hospital. I am so glad I did. I didn’t know what to expect, especially since some of the reviews make the place out to be awful. I also just moved to the area, so I don’t know the good or bad hospitals. I went early morning at 8am. I had the best experience I have ever had going to an ER. They got me in around 5 minutes after I checked in. I came in thinking I had bronchitis or pneumonia. They did chest X-ray and swabbed my nose and mouth for testing. Come to find out I had a sinus infection. They prescribed me antibiotics and steroid medication. They also gave me a coupon for GoodRX to be filled at the pharmacy, since I had mentioned that I was worried about covering the medication that I obviously was going to need. All the staff were amazing and courteous and explained what they were doing as they did it. The radiologist (I believe that’s the correct term for his position) was also kind to me and patient as I was totally brain fogged and couldn’t remember certain things when asked. There was also a gentleman going around door to door to check in with the patients to see how their visit was going and if they had any questions or concerns. I believe his name was Tim, and he was the one I mentioned my financial problems to. He was nice and not judgmental at all. I think this is the first time I’ve had an amazing time at an ER and I’m so grateful for the experience. I’m already feeling much better on day two of the medication (I promise to take it all the way through lol). Thank you so much for everything.
