Bethanee Johnson I’ll start by saying there were several other 1 star reviews that have been deleted!! I really wanted to love this place. The shop itself is a cute set up. However, my nails are trash and so is my pedicure. My deluxe pedicure was very short. It took them maybe 20 minutes to complete the whole thing(wax, hot rocks, ect). The polish looks like a 6 year old painted my nails. Then I moved over to have my nails dipped. Except, they did acrylic instead which I hate. But I wasn’t trying to be rude about it. So I didn’t say anything. Now I wish I would have.. the nails are thick, on my cuticles, very lumpy, discolored in some areas, and this one lady would not leave me alone about a design on my nails. So I ended up with what should have been a snowflake on my nails. Now the real kicker. After a 15% tip, my total was right about $138. AND the lady had the audacity to tell me the design was a ‘gift’ and I would not be charged for it. Extremely overpriced. Very terrible quality. I have never had a worse mani/pedi. I will never go here again.

Lily DeLorme Wonderful service! Miss Quinn was very knowledgeable and helpful and did a beautiful, fun set of nails for me. Miss Erica, who did my pedicure, was also very good and chatty. The prices seem to be a little higher than other places, but thats because you get what you pay for; the service was very excellent.

KA BA Theres a reason why everyone is raving about Rio! This was my first French manicure Ive been happy with since I moved to East TX. I loved my nail technician that day so much I dont want to say her name because I know shes going to get uber busy & I know Ill be back soon, but Melissa is wonderful! Super talented and so sweet. I really hope she and this salon are blessed with great success. Beautiful salon (clean, mod chic, and zero chemical odor) & everyone there has a wonderful personality, cant wait to go back!

Amy Williams First time in and I was very impressed with the atmosphere! The business is for sure investing in themselves. It was so nice. The gentlemen who did my toes (Dung) could tell my little girl felt unsure while she was sitting in my lap. He gently spoke to her and asked her name. Very great priced!

Shera Wade I got a pedicure , it started out okay. The man asked me if I wanted to do the gel polish and I told him no. He asked me three times. After the third time of telling him no, he starts laughing and talking to one of the other workers in another language. I had a friend with me and it was clear he was laughing at me. I had surgery a year ago and still have swelling in my toes. His behavior was unprofessional. Customer service is everything. I will not go back.

Dorian Marling Tan did a great job on my nails today. He fixed what the manicurist before him messed up and made them look pretty again. Love them!! I’ll definitely be back!

Shelisa Killingsworth Pedicure is exactly what I needed. I set out this morning to get a well needed pedicure, one of my concerns was to cut out the sides of my toenails. But who to trust to do this was a question for me. I arrived at grand lux , and they did not disappoint. She took her time, she made sure I was satisfied with every aspect of the pedicure. Brandon Aills I loved the interaction and greeting as soon as my daughter and I walked through the door. We didn’t wait one minute and we was offered drinks for an eta of 10 minutes but it wasn’t even that long! more like 3 mins! Everyone was so nice and welcoming! She has a wonderful command of English, her 2nd language. We chatted about the beauties of Cambodia, the shop surroundings, her life here, all while she quickly worked. Mirage Humphrey I originally posted about a “Not so great experience” at Tams. I was reached out to via a phone call/text messages. I was asked about my experience, and the lady said she could see it on the video. She offered a refund, in which I declined because their products were still used. I told her I would give them another try at a later date because I wasn’t in need of anything. Today I came back. I scheduled an appointment- and man the service was great. Much better. I understand places have bad days for whatever reason. They gave me the best pedicure I think Ive ever had, and the pedicure I assume people always rave about. Multiple colleagues use them and were shocked by my experience. I’m very glad I gave them another try. Their massage chairs are the best in the area too!

Besides the immaculate vibes set by the music and atmosphere there is one main reason I come to Tam’s, for Jenny. Jenny has made me love getting my nails done again. What once was a chore, I now look forward to getting my nails done each time. She is clean, kind, gentle, stylish and professional. Jenny listens to you, she actually wants to and encourages you to do fun and new designs. My first set from her lasted 5 weeks! Not a single nail was broken or lifted. I drive over an hour one way just for Jenny to do my nails. I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and Jenny is by far the best nail technician I have ever come across. 10 star rating. Best place in east Texas to get your nails and toes done.

Regina Ross My sister and I both went for mani pedis and both technicians were great. They didnt rush to get you done and out but they werent slow working either. They seem to care about the pattron and want them as comfortable as possible. I will be sending anyone I know to the shop and I will definitely be coming back.

I called the manager to let her know that I would be arriving to the shop 10 minutes before closing and they allowed me in with no hesitation. Great people. I saw two other ladies have their nails redone because of the bad job.... I didnt have time to make them fix it so I went to sallys and bought the stuff to fix it myself.. ugh...

Kacie Costello Samantha is my absolute favorite! She always does a wonderful job on my nails and is so kind! I tried branching off to try other salons and it was the worst mistake I made. This is the only salon in Longview that I’ve been to that actually knows how to do dip nails. Every other salon I’ve been to turns it into acrylic and not actual dip! The entire staff is kind, and welcoming and always offering refreshments and make you feel comfortable. Me and my child also get pedicures once a month and have never had a bad experience.

sanaz hameedi I absolutely love Hollywood Nails! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. Shout-out to Samantha, who is AMAZING at eyebrow waxing. She’s precise, gentle, and always gives my brows the perfect shape. The entire team/ spa creates such a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for top-notch service and care!

Charlie Nystel I like the quality of work. The prices are a little on the high side. The majority of the time she did my nails and feet she was talking on her phone to her daughter or other people. She also talked a lot to other employees in their native language, which i find to be a little rude, but that happens at most salons that are owned by those not born here. I will go back though, as i found their work to be better than the other salons i have tried

Kari Hampel I just received the worst manicure ever - the owners daughter stayed to do it and was obviously in a hurry. She barely trimmed my cuticles and slopped some clear polish on my nails and called it a night. Terrible experience - I will never be coming back.

Sis Mac The tv was on a dog medical show that was gross even when we kept talking about dont look dont look they still wouldnt change it. My pedicure was ok but nothing special and not worth the price. Wont be visiting them again. The one lady was friendly the guy didnt speak hardly.

Precious Harrison Today I got the Total Relaxation Service when I came in she greeted me and walked me back to the room. There was a foot soak it had rose petals and other things in it very relaxing and the scent just made you calm. I had an eye mask on the whole service but after the foot soak she dried my feet off lotioned and transitioned me to the massage chair. I done sat in plenty massage chairs but baby that chair worked magic I was sleep by the end of my service!! Not to mention this morning had been a little off the massage chair literally melted everything away I felt amazing after!!

Terrie Maxwell I was told by "Anna", a nail tech that if I made an appointment she could do my did manicure while her sister, Mai, did my pedicure. Well, it did not work that way at all. I arrived for my appointment, and Mai began my pedicure, but "Anna" worked the the entire time on other customers. My pedicure lasted an extra long time while while "Anna" continued working on other customers fingernails. Making an appointment saved me no time at all. There are also cleanliness issues . While doing my nails, "Anna" trimmed my cuticles with pair of communal trimmers and refused to answer when I asked if they had been cleaned. I will not be going back.

Kara Rios Ann does my nails and she truly does an awesome job. She was gentle and very professional. She made sure I loved my nails and was happy with them. My pedicure was on point too! I enjoy going to this salon. They make you feel welcome and want you to have a good experience! Highly recommend!! Update: Ann is my go to lady! She has helped me grow out my natural nails. She does such a great job every time. I’ve been going to her for over a year now! Prices are very reasonable for services!

Nova W I will never be coming to this place again, first I ask for a paisley design on my nail show her pictures, she says “I can’t do that” I was like okay that’s fine I’ll chose something simpler I guess. So I went with French tips, added some gems for flare. The shape of the French tip was not the best but I try not to be so picky especially since the nail tech obviously couldn’t do much since she refused to do designs on my nails, But I’ve never had such weak nails in my experience, I got these done yesterday, I leave the salon, on my way to work same day I notice 2 nails were already starting to crack at the edges, the gems were already falling off, then mid work shift one of my nails is chipped off! Within hours! I woke up this morning & another nail popped off!? Not worth $85, so disappointing.. go somewhere else

Chey Dragon Mentioned issues before finished and ended just letting him finish so I could get out. The one thing I can say positive is the nail polish we choose to do turn yellow instead of blue and he redid the nail polish. I wanted coffin nails and a design that the artist was unable to do. He failed to mention until they already put tips on my nails. My nails are crooked, not coffin and unfinished/not clean.

Barbara Schelest If I could put a negative star amount I would Awful service, the therapeutic pedicure is DG brand citric dish soap. Do not know how to apply pink and white set at all. Ummm they kinda of forgot the clear coat!

She’s so awesome she can always come up with something super cute in a matter of minutes for me she puts her little twist to it. I ended up getting a Pedi as well and omg is was awesome just what I needed to end my week. Ms. Nikki never fails she made my day. I highly recommend you check her out. Call a get you an appointment let her get you ready for the holidays.! Plus the environment was so calming and pleasant all the staff was super nice. Landry Thompson Do NOT go here. Left with 6 of my fingers bleeding. Tyler did my nails. Absolutely horrible. I sat down and he immediately started putting the dip on. No cuticle cleaning, no nail prep or typical manicure services. When I said something, he came back after he did my nails to clean up the cuticles and HURT me. And proceeded to tell me that next time I need to tell them to clean up the cuticles. I left with my cuticles bloody and hurting. Very painful. Worst manicure I’ve ever gotten.

Allie Crawford Overpriced, not clean, rude, slow and can’t seem to get the gel to cure properly. If I could leave a negative star I would - I gave them a chance to fix this. Firstly, I was “accidentally” charged $96 over. At my request, I did receive a refund. When I got home a few hours later, my nails had bubbled, peeling off and making a wet polish mess everywhere. The gel was not cured properly. I went back today and they were kind and redid them. I look down and the nails are exactly the same. Still not cured. Making a mess all over my hands… bubbled and horrible looking.

Paige Weh Yesterday I stopped in for the first time to (I’ve never heard anything about Pure Nail Bar). I got the most amazing manicure I’ve ever had, and the prices are half what I’ve paid in other nail salons. I loved it so much I went back today for a pedicure. What could be better? Well, PNB employ the friendliest, most patient and helpful staff I’ve ever experienced! Lovely local business!

Amy Sells Never coming back. If I could leave 0 stars I would! I had my nails done on the 13. I had to come in the 14 to have them repainted. Now one has fallen off completely and the paint is already chipping and falling off again. It hasn’t even been a week. I can’t get anyone to answer the phone to resolve this issue either. Edit** I was finally able to reach someone on the phone today. He told me they do not offer a warranty on their nails and that they were not responsible for me tearing them up. I told him that it hadn’t even been 24 hours before I started having issues with it. He said again they’re not responsible.

Amanda They have disappointed me. I live in Marshall and drive to Longview for their atmosphere. Its nice, quite and love the one on one attention I get without rushing me in and out for other customers.

Ivy Crawford I’ve found my new salon for pedicures! After trying several salons in the Kilgore-Longview area, Allure in Longview is the winner! I arrived at my appointment time and was promptly greeted and shown to a chair. I usually take a long time to decide on a color, but after telling John what my mother and I like, he came back with the perfect shades of red and pink. John also made sure that Snow and Jada understood the details of my instructions before leaving to tend to other customers. Snow did my pedicure and I highly recommend her! She took her time to be sure everything was perfect. My result was smoothly clipped, filed, and buffed nails with an artfully applied polish job, even with drying spray after the top coat! Jada knew just what to do to take care of my 88 year old mother’s thick, overgrown toenails. Jada identified the painful toe and carefully took care of its nail first. Mother was so pleased with her pedicure that as we were leaving, she said,”Now I have happy feet!” Good bye to messy, clumpy polish jobs and sharp edges on nails that cause sore toes. We’re going back to Allure to see Snow and Jada, because we want happy feet!

Maegan Larimer The visit was pretty disappointing. While the guy who gave my pedicure was nice, he didn’t do a good job at all. I paid for a full pedicure, and got about 25% of one. My technician clipped my toe nails with clippers, and then never filed them to smooth them out. He didn’t clean around my nails, trim up the skin, push my cuticles back, NONE OF IT. No file touched my toes. No cuticle clipper touched my toes. As I realized he was preparing to begin painting, I stopped him and asked was he going to clean up my toenails because there was dead skin around my nail that was visible— the whole point of getting the pedicure to begin with— and he said he didn’t want to “cut me”. The manager asked was there a problem, and I stated that he did not file my toes or clip the skin around them. “Yes he did,” was her response. The guy went on and painted my toes, but in order not not be see through, multiple coats were needed. That’s didn’t happen either. I’m not one to make a scene, but I’m definitely one to post a review. I’m highly disappointed with my service, and my family and I won’t be returning.

It was horrible and I regret even going. I knew before even going in that I wasn’t going to be happy but I took a chance and I regret doing it. Don’t get your nails done here. Very disappointed

I have never expected the customer service just plan out right was horrible! The guy that done my fill in was in a rush for absolutely no reason that I could see there was literally only two people in the place. ( me and my friend) the one that was doing my fill in was really rude an very rough doing my nails. An to top it all off the other nail tech if that’s what you want to call them. Told my friend that she was a liar an didn’t tell lair an didn’t not tell him that she wanted the nail polish at the tip of her nail but instead at the top! ( only painter on nail )Got very rough an very rough as well then he took the polish off an redone them how she wanted in the first place! While all this going on the told the lady name Cindy that we would more then likely no tip them in the first place. I have never had a experience like this before I will never go back to that nail salon again the service is horrible an the job they done on my nails an my friends nails were absolutely horrible! For a fill in that was 38$ i could have done a better job doing them my self at home! Just a horrible place I wouldn’t recommend my worst Enemy to go there

Danielle Bettinger Jennifer is awesome. I love her and her daughter. Shes always so sweet. Everytime i go in i tell her do what she wants and i let her have creative freedom and she NEVER lets me down. I cant wait to see what she comes up with next.

Cinthia Villanueva He left my toes too lumpy with the gel and some little spots ain’t painted and left them painted outside my toe nail, normally they come out amazing and perfect but not this time. And for $55? And he made my natural square shape uneven and weird looking

Kim McKinley DO NO GIVE YOUR BUSSINESS TO THESE PEOPLE! The owner tried to charge me more for a pedicure than what their sign posted said. He stated it was his bussiness. I stopped them after they took off my nail polish. These people were dishonest about their prices. I had to call Longview PD because they became verbally aggressive!

Aijeleth Johnson I walked into this nail salon and was initially impressed by the decor, but the vibe? Totally unwelcoming. I sat down for my pedicure, and guess what? No one bothered to tell me it was going to cost $61. By the time I was done, I’d paid $61 for a basic French tip and pedicure, with the only upgrade being a sparkly finish on the tips. The service itself was fine, but it took forever, and the lack of pricing transparency? Honestly, it was shocking and downright disappointing.

Shai Morris DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE service. You wait an hour or more if you’re a walk in usually. And even if you make an appointment they will seat walk-ins before you and you end up waiting an hour too. No apologies, terrible costumer service. EDITED: In response to the Lees (the owner) response on this review: I DID talk to you about it while I was there, so you could fix it, Lee. Youre response to me was "Ill get to you". You were very rude. A walk-in was sat before me even though I had an appointment. I waited 45 minutes before deciding to leave. My appointment was at 5, I showed up at 4:50 and she started the other womens nails at 5:05. I will NEVER be back. (This isnt the first time this has happened btw)

Laurie Hinds Absolutely the worst salon. I took my granddaughter in for a mani/pedi and paid $71 for gel polish for her so it would last. The rude man said she didn’t need it bc she was so young. I understand gel vs regular polish. I paid the cost. That was Sunday afternoon…… it all came off last night while she was taking a bath. I have had my nails done hope 30 years and always get gel. It has never just popped off. Do not use this salon. Extremely rude owner.

Janice Holt Not happy at all. She did not listen to me. I wanted dip and she was like oh no acrylic much better for French. Waaaay too thick. Waste of my money. Nails are too expensive to waste my money! Went to Lavish nail spa and Ivy did a great job and listened to me.

Melissa Reynolds I bought my mother n law a gift card for a pedi. She picked a $41 package because her gift card was for $50. The older woman who did her pedicure cut her toe and the toe would not stop bleeding. The lady never said anything like that she was sorry about that. My mother n law said toe wouldnt stop bleeding and they had to re paint the toe due to bleeding. After pedi she went to pay. She had 2 gift cards. One with $3 left on it and the $50 one. The man at front said it was $56 even tho it was supposed to be $41. He was rude when she pointed out on the sheet which pedi she got. Still said it was $56. She gave him the $3 card first and then he told her the balance was $53. She tried to give the $50 card and he was so put out, rolling his eyes, and appeared mad that she was paying with gift card. Then proceeded to tell her she couldnt use 2 gift cards. My mother n law who is on limited income, had to pay for the pedi that was supposed to be a gift. I will NEVER go there or purchase another gift card there again. Rude people and old people that dont need to be doing nails anymore.

Shandi Mooty Very disappointed as I purchased the $53 pedicure and she didn’t use any of the products that come with it. Also was very rushed. I just wanted a nice little foot/leg rub as I work on my feet all day but was rushed off. Don’t know if we will be back. If you want to come and pay for products that don’t get used, I’d recommend coming here. I got a basic pedicure, not a $53 one. And yes, I did mention it to them as she was doing my toes and when I went to pay. It didn’t get fixed.

I was in there a total of 3hrs because they kept stopping. Then I havent even had my nails done a week and it already looks like I need a refill one of the nails just popped off Luke it wasnt even glued on good. I can not and will not recommend any go there.

Evelyn Hawk My nails turned out pretty, but the lady that did my nails was so careless. When she used the sandpaper thing that spins to cut my cuticles, she completely removed my cuticles and didnt stop there. She completely rubbed the skin around my nails raw. Then later she wiped my hands with chemical wipes and it burned so bad. For the next few days I couldnt wash my hands without being in pain. She also didnt look when she was cutting my acrylics and she almost cut my fingers multiple times. And she filed my nails so vigorously that my acrylics snapped off once. The only reason I say 2 stars is because the nails turned out pretty and the place didnt smell like chemicals.

Cecilia Hernandez Very disappointed!! It is not my first time going there. Today I decided to go to treat myself for my birthday. The lady that did my nails was on the phone the whole time, she was distracted. I asked her to do my nails shorter. She didn’t. She didn’t pay attention at all.. I also asked for coffin nails and they don’t look like that at all! I am mad for this kind of service and also the kind of work she did on my nails! Be polite to your clients, don’t be on the phone or fixing personal things while working! It just looks bad!

Fallon Robertson One of the owners Jennifer, has been doing my nails for about a couple of months now and she is the best! She’s helped me grow my nails back out to where I can now get the dip put on my natural nails instead of needing nail tips. It normally takes about an hour to get them done with her. I can go the full two weeks before needing them done again and even though my nails grow out fast, they still look good. I could go longer probably but I prefer to get them done every other week. She is high in demand so I would recommend making an appointment if you want her specifically. I will keep going to see Jennifer for my nail maintenance!

ShaTraven Ransom My mother and I came to get a Pedi and full over Easter weekend, everyone was in a rush. My toes and nails looked as if my son polished and filled them. They turned 3 Africa American ladies away saying they were closed and moments later they serviced a Caucasian lady. And soon after that a mother and daughter. I can to get a refund and they did not refund me my money nor redo my nails or toes. I was very disappointed in the service and quality of the customer service. That will be my last time going.

Marquita Rowland I absolutely LOVE this place! I will wait to get my nails done to come here. They are so sweet and listen to customers and what they want. I have been getting my getting my nails done every two weeks for 8 years and the result is thin brittle nails. I like long nails and recently they have been breaking, bleeding, just painful. Without fake nails my nails look horrible and hurt. So they recommended a dip powder with a small tip instead of normal nails. My nails are getting stronger and look 10x better. In 6 months+ I will be able to get real nails again. Most places will just put glue on broken nails and do them normal- but them they listen and know that I want my nails to get stronger!!!

Anuhea Fu They had good service everyone was really nice. They did an okay job on my nail shape but made them thin like really thin. I haven’t even had these on for a week and I don’t do anything crazy with my hands and my nail already chipped. They made the dip lumpy on some nails. Don’t even get me started on the design like what even is that. The brown is what I asked for and they stated that it was too difficult. And then gave me this ugly line design. She even tried to correct the black line with a white line and it just looks terrible. The white on my nail isn’t even nail polish it’s dip!! Needless to say I will not be coming back because I paid $68 dollars for these nails! And I have gotten better for cheaper!

Kara Carter I came her with my little sister and we both left with cut up nails. The lady doing them told me it was because “I had thin skin” but she repeatedly used the vibrating buffer thing on my skin and noticed I was bleeding and still kept going over it. I’ve been putting medicine on my nails because I am worried I will get an infection. They refused a refund, but told me I could come back and they would fix it. I will not return back there again.

Amber Hartmann I went in to be pampered, literally had an older man do my set of nails. He rushed everything, when drilling he missed half of every nail and burned me with the drill 4 times. Then did not shape my nails what so ever. And the design I asked for was totally wrong. And to make it worse I was the only customer in there, so no need to rush at all. Very poor quality. I just stopped at the nails and had to go somewhere else to get my pedi done. When I complained to the lady cashing me out, she didn’t even over to take any off or fix anything.

Trinity bg A man named Lang did my nails and they are perfect! He took his time and was very meticulous in making my nails look exactly the way I wanted them. He was very kind and super careful when filing or using the nail drill. I’ve been to this salon many times and will definitely keep going!

Tiffany Finch Horrible service. The sign says half price second service not true. They up the prices and charge whatever they want. Its a different price for the same service each time . I went to get my nails done and my husband a pedicure and they did not honor the buy one get one half off . They have always done so in the past. Today there was a Man and the lady who is ALWAYS there claims she knows nothing about what I am talking about that she always gives half off then started yelling at me to get out . Horrible service. Nails arent the best quality service either . Please do not go there horrible everything .

Jessica Tramel I came here about a month ago to get my pedicure done and the lady was so nice. My feet and toes looked amazing. Well I came here two weeks ago and had my eyebrows done and they came out awesome. Best Ive had done in a long time. Im back today and the man did an amazing job. So nice and helpful in my opinion. Will definitely be coming back.
