kassi rios I’ve been here twice and both times I’ve left bleeding. The most recent time, the cuticles on my toes bled. Now it just looks terrible. And I’m hoping I don’t get an infection because I’m not sure how clean the tools are. I saw the tools being washed off in the same water used for my pedicure. Hopefully they’re sterilized after the pedicure. The whole time I was uncomfortable, in pain, and not relaxed at all. Then I got the nails done and the sides of my nails bled from the harsh filing that included my skin. Besides that everyone was very kind and attentive. The service was good just painful. Maybe I just got unlucky in my times here.

Emily Belcher Wow! Definitely my new favorite salon. I was recommended by a friend to come here. I always bring my own polish, this is Chemical X by Mooncat, and it looks great! I hadnt had my nails done in soooo long. The whole place is very clean. The nugget ice for my water was a huge plus! It was fast but the quality was excellent too.

Amanda W. First time trying Bella nails out and will be coming here from now on! Excellent customer service from everyone I came in contact with! They have a full bar with so many options, everyone had a different drink! I was asked several times if I would like a drink. Tokyo did my nails, and she was so kind and did a great job on my nails! The shape is perfect and no crooked nails! Definitely give this place a shot!

Asia Vernon I visited this nail bar about a week ago. My regular nail tech went to Vietnam for two months, and I was in dire need of an overlay due to my nails lifting. Ive been growing my nails out for months, making sure I visited the salon frequently to ensure my nails grew healthy and long. I traveled from Mesquite to Denton to have Irene do my overlay since she was one of my good friends nail techs and she would do good work on her nails. Before she got started i explained that i wanted an overlay and that i DID NOT wont my nails to be cut down. Everything was fine until then end of the service. She used a drill to clean my natural nails and drilled my nails until they were gone. No shape or nothing. I called and spoke to the manager about my experience and wanted some pointers on what i could do to strengthen my nails. He assured me that Irene would call me back, but i havent heard from her or him. I am so sad and nervous about what my nails will look like once i remove this overlay. I went in simply for an overlay and now Im left with this mess. The first pictures are before my service with Irene. As you can see my nails were long and healthy. The pictures were taken over a month after my nail lady applied the overlay. The second picture is after my service with Irene.

Kalee Sadberry I was on the search for a new salon, I tried many in the area and found Bella. I came to Bella on recommendation to ask for Freya! I will say she has exceeded every expectation I had coming in! She is such a beautiful human over all! I came for her talent but have been blown away for how much she cares for me as a client, that is huge for me! Freya knocks it out of the park every time, I have never left disappointed! Her attention to detail leaves me feeling so confident each time I see her! Everyone at the nail bar is so kind and accommodating!

Amanda Long Andy and staff are always friendly and welcoming! I can call and usually get an appointment same day! Lillian does an amazing job on gel manicures! She is so sweet and takes great care of me!

Amie McNiel Inails is the most beautiful place I’ve been to and Hannah is the best everybody. There is wonderful but I always like to go to my Hannah. She does wonderful job and the best designs. The shop is gorgeous and everyone’s very nice and friendly.

Misty Houghton I needed a fill and just decided to go without an appt. They worked me in pretty quick! Jade was my tech, i absolutely love the way she did my nails. She was fast and super sweet! Will definitely go back to see her for sure!

Alyssa Beckman I had a great experience with Mr. Tim! He was super attentive to make sure the shape and color of the nails was to my liking, even redoing one after noticing a tiny error! I really recommend making an appointment and getting your nails done here! I will be coming back!

I will definitely be back because my entire experience was perfect! I would also recommend calling to set an appointment as it’s a smaller salon, but the attention to detail is what makes it worth it!

Saher Jafri I had the most amazing experience at Essentials Day Spa! Tammy was absolutely amazing and made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. She took time to understand what I needed during the facial. The facial itself was beyond relaxing, and on top of that the massage she gave was pure bliss! I definitely recommend Essentials Day Spa if you’re looking for a warm, comfortable experience.

Seiler April I have been going to Essentials day spa for about a year now, every few months I get a massage. This past week I was really tense in my neck and upper back to the point where It hurt to just move my head. I came in for a deep tissue massage and got exactly that. Misty suggested that rather than full body she just work on the problem areas. It was the best massage I had ever received. She massaged the left shoulder/neck first and before she moved on to my right I could already feel the difference between them! Completely relaxed on my left and suuuuper tense on my right. I was sore for the first day or two after the massage but it’s been 3 days now and I have complete range of motion and can actually lay my head on a pillow again! Thank you so so much for everything! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Ashleigh Colter I wish I could give them zero stars. I was never asked what I wanted for my nails. When I called to book the appointment, I wanted to keep my long natural nails and use a color dip, no tips. Instead she did a god awful THICK French tip. I was cut multiple times and she even drew blood, which she then dipped my fingers in the powder. Super unsanitary! Almost cried in the appointment from how horrible these are and how much she hurt me. When I was leaving and expressed my concerns, the receptionist had the audacity to ask me for a tip! I dont believe I should have had to pay $70 for the experience I had. Its sad, because I really wanted to try this place because of their really amazing reviews. 0/10 Do not recommend going here unless you want to get something completely different than what you ask for. Now I have to either go paint over these or just go somewhere else.

Karyn Spillman I had a wonderful experience at Essentials Day spa! My children treated me to a gift certificate for a spa sampler. The facial by Tammy and the massage by Jen were both out of this world amazing! I had a very nice pedicure also, but the technician did not give me her name. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and calm. The facility is very clean. I will definitely be going again. I highly recommend this spa!

I was greeted warmly as a walk-in and was seated without a wait. I selected the deluxe pedicure and it was one of the best salon experiences I have had. I left with a beautiful pedicure. I highly recommend this business.

Miranda Patino Best nail experience ever amazing customer service! Kim was super kind and attentive ! Prices for nails were amazing especially for such great quality and design! Kim asked me how I liked my nails and kept verifying that they were coming out exactly how I wanted. She did an astonishing job and I couldn’t have been happier! She helped me decide on colors when I was indecisive and she made this experience amazing ! She was extremely considerate with me and met every single expectation ! 10/10 I’m definitely coming back !

Roger Zuniga-Banegas I have had a pedicure and a full design acrylic set put on here. They are wonderful! The employees are extremely kind! I have been going to another salon for years, but last Saturday we couldnt get in, so we happened to go to Bonitas instead. It was THE BEST pedicure Ive had in a long time! My nails are so beautiful! The prices are amazing too! I highly recommend!

Katie Clay I can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ve been coming here for over a year and recently had a horrible experience tho. I was in on 11/6 and didn’t have an appt but they got me in right away. It was a lady I hadn’t seen before but she seemed to do a fine job. There were a couple times where I told her I could see my nail on the side because the dip powder wasn’t cover my full nail but she fixed it without problem. Fast forward 3 days I had 5 nails starting to pop off!! This has never happened before! My nails always last 3-4 weeks when I come here!! Since I was out of town and wasn’t able to come in, I called first thing Monday morning and spoke with the manager. He asked me to come in today, Tuesday, 11/12. He wasn’t there when I got there but two ladies were very helpful. We tried to figure out who the other lady was that did them and I gave them all the info I could. Van was the name of the lady that fixed all 10 of my nails and she did an OUTSTANDING job!!! Once again, I’m leaving the nail salon completely happy and will absolutely be returning here next month!

April Estrada My mom felt very rushed during her pedicure. It felt like the employees are rushed by management to get to the next person. My personal experience was mid. $95 for a french tip seems crazy to me like they charged me for the “french tip” design. He said it’ll be extra but bro $30 don’t even seem right? One coat of white polish. I feel scammed. Also they DO NOT have Apple Pay.

Jammie Whitby Love coming into Raymond’s shop! My go to guy is David. He’s pleasant, friendly and down to earth. I get my nails beautifully done and I get to see my friend too! It’s a win win, much love David.

Suzi Robinson I’ve been a monthly customer at Luxe for years. Raymond is always there to greet me, ask what I’m there for and happy to recommend their best services to me. Today’s visit was no less than the great service I always receive from him and his team. Jasmine is so gentle with a manicure and very talented with designs! I drive well over 2.5 hours round trip from home to see them for nails & waxing and they are well worth it!

Aisha Campos First, I really wanted to like this place. The students were nice, just really not concerned with doing the best they could...I got acrylic nails on one week ago today, the thickness varied nail to nail and the nails were not straight. Today I had several fall off. I have to use my hands tomorrow and cannot have a few nails half on, so I soaked and removed them. One nail had a cut across the nails and was bleeding before the nail came off. I saw the signs saying an instructor was monitoring, but never saw an instructor come over and actually look at what the student was doing. This is really sad...I was fine with letting students take their time - I was there roughly 3 hours getting the full set put on. I was easy going and kind to the tech helping me, but I dont feel they were properly overseen or prepared to work on the public.

Kayla M This place is a joke they don’t answer the phone so I walked in twice both times the place is completely empty besides the students stuffing their face with food. And I always get “ we are booked up” how are you booked up when you there is not a soul in the building. Makes no senses what so ever. Don’t waste your time or patience even coming here.

Ashley R Nunez Had such a great experience at this location! Angela worked on my hair. She was so friendly and did a great job. I felt so welcome and everyone was so helpful. Everything was clean and well kept. The prices were reasonable and my hair looked just as good as it does getting it done at a regular salon. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Suiru i had an amazing experience, staff was so friendly and the teachers are very nice, gave good feedback to the students and are very involved, morgan was my stylist and did such a great job, very sweet and kind, prices are very reasonable almost to good to be true, overall highly recommend and will be coming back!!!!

millie otwell I love this place. The students are there to practice and learn, but they always have professional teachers to watch over them and us to make sure when we leave that we are 100% happy. I do caution you that you need to allow about twice as much time as you would usually allow a full service salon -- however, its worth it because the price for services is a whole lot less than any full service salon! and Ive always left happy!

Kodi Venable Johnny did an excellent job on my old, ugly, overwashed Nurse hands! I am really picky about nails, and havent had mine done in years. He was great with listening to what I wanted, and took his time to make sure I was happy! Im so happy to find someone who actually takes pride in their work.

Donovan Samantha (VikingSerenity) My nails turned out super cute!!!! Love them. I also got the volcano pedicure it was amazing highly recommend. Will be coming back. Oh I also got my eyebrows and lip waxed as well. Very affordable as well. Everything only cost me $150. Much needed spa day.

Shravya C Very disappointed service. I got the Nextgen Nails done on my hands and they look so uneven, not at all professionally done. Though the prices are high service is cheap. Im not at all happy with the nails that Ive got done here yesterday. They look like theyre done by unprofessional. The other thing is they talk among themselves about me in the other language and looks at me very bad, treat us cheap. The manager responded to call back to discuss after review, and when I went back they again started laughing among themselves, manager was rude because I left a review before I spoke to her, worst thing is they said theyll correct it and filed my nails so bad that I was bleeding. Never go to this place.

Kayla John I’m not one to write a bad review, but my experiences here warrant one. I started going here because they accept walk-ins, which I appreciate. The first couple times were absolutely incredible; Amy did French tips and the next time, another lady (I didn’t catch her name) did dip nails and the service was great, they were super kind and took their time. The past three times, however, I walked in and the ladies were busy so a gentleman did my nails. Every single time, it seemed like he was in a rush. After doing my nails, I’d always see him stand outside the salon and smoke, so I don’t know why he rushed. The quality wasn’t as good as when the ladies did it, and he made my cuticles bleed multiple times. After getting my nails done, he’d always leave a white cast on my fingertips and polish around the nail bed without cleaning. I always get acrylic tips with dip powder and I never experienced such messy service. Just the other day, I went in to get my nails done for the holidays and I noticed the pinky nail was crooked after leaving. I don’t know if I’ll be back.

Cash_Money Cant believe this is what spending $65.00 + gets you!! So disappointed in the quality of service. To think the nail technician thought this was excellent quality is disheartening. I even had to dry my own hands off when the appointment was over. I will not be returning to this establishment!

Kimber Gray This is my go to nail salon in Denton! I have had two Gel X manicure’s there and both came out absolutely stunning. My manicurists mentioned possibly changing my color to make sure it was exactly what I asked for so we did and they turned out perfect! They do a fantastic job here and are all very accommodating and friendly.

Kayla John Normally I go to Serenity nails right next door, but I’ve been experiencing horrible service there and wanted to get my nails done last minute. I walked in and was greeted right away. Linda did my nails and she was absolutely wonderful. She was SO gentle, which I hadn’t experienced in a while. I always left a nail salon with bleeding cuticles or nail residue still left on my fingers. This wasn’t the case here. She took her time with my French tips. Prices are reasonable - I’ll definitely be back!

Fox Mr Just tried out this new nail salon I found on social media and their designs looked amazing online. Im pretty picky about my nails, so I was really hoping to find a tech who could nail the designs I wanted. First off, the staff was super friendly. But the real star of the show, Louie, this guy is seriously talented. He totally got the design I was going for and made it happen perfectly. Plus, he was just so nice and easy to chat with the whole time. Definitely come back!

Alexis Myers Jessi was phenomenal!! She was very detailed with her work and the nails came out so cute! Everyone here is so sweet and there’s free hair clips and dumb dumbs in the front entrance. Me and my three friends came and we had a blast and I will be returning! The places is very clean and modern and I am very happy with the results!!

Tamara Bell Grand nail spa is exceptional cleanliness, skilled technicians, friendly staff, a wide selection of colors and designs, attention to detail, consistent quality, and a relaxing atmosphere. This salon is a true gem! The staff are incredibly friendly. Nancy always takes the time to ensure my pedicure looks perfect with beautiful colors. The salon itself is spotless and welcoming. Love coming here. Nancy is by far the best nail tech I’ve had.

Sophia E. Me and my friend both came here today and left the nail salon feeling pretty disappointed. If you go here, I do not recommend the gentleman (around 40-50 years old) that worked on my nails. I thought he could do what I had asked him to do on my nails (circled in the inspiration picture below) but I quickly learned otherwise. I will say though, he did try his best and I am grateful for that and his patience since he was learning and all… but I do not think this work is worth $80. I’ve had way better nails done for me at EVA-Nails-Spa in Arlington highlands for only $60. (They were acrylic nails w a pinky-clear base and silver chrome tips.) I would also like to add that I don’t appreciate that my nails were not left clean and some of the nails aren’t nicely sculpted. I hope others don’t experience what I went through today. I really wish they had just given me a different and more capable nail tech instead of having to experience this uncomfortable situation. I will unfortunately not be coming back here. Edit: To be clear, I was never upset with the length nor the color of my nails. Just with the poor quality and execution of the design I wanted and the lack of cleanliness around my nails. I can tell that some of my nails are bumpy in odd places. The shape of my nails don’t compliment my hand shape. I told the tech since the very beginning “I want these nails” (nails meaning nail art and color) on my natural nails. I vividly remember telling the tech that while pointing to the circled nail in the top row w/ the swirl on it. Then they told me dip would make my nails stronger so I said sure. I sat there for 1 hour patiently watching the nail tech try to put these different chrome powders on my nails without success. Then, another nail tech (thankfully) recommended the color I agreed to. Also, I forgot to mention yesterday that they charged me $40 for dip color, which doesn’t make sense to me because I walked out of the nail salon with gel nail polish and the gentleman that did my nails shaved off half the dip product before applying the clear base, gel nail polish, chrome powder, & the nail art.

Karyn Spillman Super salon that I highly recommend! I received a great pedicure by Michael, and very nicely done nails (dip) by Chi. But that is not where their great service ended today. After my appointment, I popped into the grocery store next-door and in the process of loading my groceries, I unfortunately locked my keys and phone in my car. The people at Legacy were so kind to me… They let me use their phone, provided me with water, and gave me a comfy place to wait while I waited on a relative to rescue me! They are great people!

Michael Abrego This was my first visit to this location. I have usually gone to a location out in Dallas but the location is very far, but very good. I have had a tendency to be hesitant on trying new nail salons after a bad experience in Grapevine. This visit, was one of the best locations I have been to! And as it was my first visit, I now have another place to go to that is MUCH closer to me and the staff was EXTREMELY friendly! Definitely a go-to location if you need some amazing work done!

Caite Green Tila. Tila. Tila has the most incredible attention to detail. Sculpting simple, clean, symmetrical and thin and smooth nails is HARD. It takes time. Tila took her time to ensure my nails were truly professional. I don’t have instagram hands, but thanks to Tila, I have instagram nails. even ballet pink and not “crazy”, these are knockout. Photos in different lights so you can see how good she is. No plastic bits hanging off anywhere, no cuticle bumps, no weird sculpting that fans out and builds toward the tip. All my nails are the same length and my almonds at straight. And. I think Couture is the only salon near here that does hybrid gel. Winner!!! Tila, this is the best dang manicure I’ve had in nearly 40 years of life. I feel so fancy. For anyone reading- don’t rush genius. It takes a few hours but it is insanely amazing.

Michael Flores Great place to request a Swedish message and get a little bit of everything instead. Also,if you’re above 5,7” you’ll hang off the table. Other than those few details it’s a great message.

Alexis As good as I had in Thailand and Vietnam! A great deal and nice staff. If you’re looking for a fancy spa experience this may not be the spot, but if you want a great massage and no bs this is the place! Had a private room and the music was a nice and at a good volume. I do wish they used sheets instead of towels, but it didn’t negatively impact my experience

Ivy The massage is okay. The towels are really rough. Normally massage places use sheets oppose to old towels. 85% of the massage was decent. The lady at the front desk asked me to pay before the service, said due to machine issues, which I thought was odd. She ran my card just fine in a matter of seconds. Typically you pay for services like this at the end, but I didn’t oppose. Then at the end of the service the lady at the front desk did not like my tip and asked for 18%. I was kind of appalled. Due to customer service alone, I would not return.

Casey Went and got a couples massage and I do believe best around. Great customer service and very professional. Would definitely recommend. We for sure will be going back.

Venus Reed-Wilson The experience was ok. Yet, the odd thing at the end was the lady asking for me to tip her.She literally did not let me go until i paid her an extra 25 dollars. Apparently, everyone gives a 20% tip after. I thought tips are what I wanted to give not a requirement. Super awkward moment. Not going to this place ever again. You lost me here....

Harley Hall Came in with a Pinterest photo of what I wanted, and they turned out better than the picture!!!! I don’t get my nails done often, so I didn’t know gel/dip/acrylic differences but the women at the front desk gave me good advice and pointed me in the right direction. The pedicure was awesome too- my stubborn ingrown toenail got a MAJOR facelift. I was nervous bringing in a picture from online for reference, but when my nail tech wasn’t able to quite get the color to pop, the shop manager took over and showed her how, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I can’t do my nails often because of my job, but this is the spot I’ll be going to and telling my friends about from now on. Thank you ladies!!!

Mandy Biter DO NOT COME HERE! SPEND YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE! I got a gift card for Christmas. I brought my daughter in to get her nails done and when I asked them about the gift card they refused to honor it. They said they bought the business 8 months ago and the gift card was issued by the previous owner. When you buy a business you also honor the gift cards that people already have especially because your name is on the gift card. VERY BAD BUSINESS. It even says the gift card is good for 12 months. We will NEVER come back here and will tell everyone who will listen not to come here either.

She actually advised against the tip and educated me on the best way to care for my toes instead of just trying to make money! This is my nail home!

Amy Williams I received a basic pedicure with wax/massage. I was so embarrassed with my blackened toes. The staff made me feel appreciated and John took care of me. John did an excellent job.I felt so relax I didn’t have anxiety due to my tender feet. I’m so happy I found a place who makes you feel relax and don’t rush the process.

I told the same thing to the lady at the front desk and her reply was- “she didn’t do that intentionally” like seriously??? No one does that intentionally but it’s their responsibility to provide a good service to their customers. This lady at the front desk was really rude while I was talking and ignored my comments. Kayla Huey Mai did a fantastic job! I showed her a picture of ombré dip nails she did from another review and she did it no problem, even adjusted to do more pink color to compliment my skin tone. I specifically said I don’t want them wide, I want skinny and she knew exactly what to do no problem. That’s a true artist! Very kind, good conversation, and super fast without affecting quality. 10/10 recommend and will be back!

Anna I was a walk- in. Had my nails done here for the first time. I have to say Isabella was very gentle and easy with drill while doing my nexgen service. But not liking the topcoat polish she put on. It was brushed on the cuticles and looks like cuticles are dry. Thats why I did 4 stars. Might try this place again but Ill see how they hold up in the coming days first.

Myra Ruppelt Terrible!! The woman who did my nails literally cut my skin. I started bleeding and she put clear nail polish on top to stop the bleeding!? And then, they couldn’t even do the design I asked for. Which was simple flames. The nails looked terrible, they were crooked, the lines were not straight at all, and they got the powders mixed so my “pink” nails had black powder on top. Some have accidental glitter in them. Maybe clean your stuff before switching colors? I was very disappointed. Not to mention my nail broke HOURS after the appointment. I think they use cheap products as I have five broken nails at the moment, but had never broken a nail before this set. Do not go here if you want good nails!

Brandy Reid My sister and I went here Thursday to get ready for my sons wedding. It was a horrible job. Nails are chunky and not filed right they have uneven bumps in the acrylic.They are all different sizes and my pinky has a spot where they messed up the powder and it doesnt go to edge of nail and the nail is mis shaped. My sisters polish was horrible and wasnt even and had bubbles in it. It was thick in some areas and thin in others. The nails are not the correct shape. They just look awful and I have to go to my sons wedding like this since I dont have time to get them fixed.

Anastasia Price This is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I would give 0 stars if I could. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because I understand people that operate a business are human too, but this is ridiculous at this point. First I went about a week and a half ago and got a pedicure and manicure. The woman who did my nails didn’t speak to me at all, so 0 stars for customer service because she could have at least said hello. Next, she removed the polish on my toes except for my big toe because it was a thicker layer. She shaved it down and I guess when she saw that the remainder didn’t come off, she called it quits. I didn’t address it initially because it was such a thin layer that I assumed it would be covered. She painted my toes and you could clearly see a huge chunk of polish underneath. When I commented on it, she displayed shock as if she didn’t see the clear lump underneath the coat of polish and she insisted on just painting another layer on top. There were just too many small things I had to address. Polish covering my skin. Uneven nail shape. Partially painted nails. And each time, she showed shock as if she had no idea and insisted I show her what was right in front of her eyes. Think, blue nails with about a cm worth of nail white at the corner. Cmon now. It’s ridiculous. She then proceeded to do my nails and insisted on gel because it wouldn’t last as long as regular polish. I took her professional advice. Literally that night my nail chipped and within the week the polish had peeled off on about half of my nails. Again, I brushed it off as just a bad day. They are professionals, but there is room for human error. So I gave them a go again yesterday. My polish was completely gone because I looked terrible with chunks of polish here and there, so I removed the remaining gel. Upon entering, I expressed my concerns from the previous visit. I just asked for a regular polish on my nails. The tech seemed to show distaste on her face. She finished my nails in literally 5 minutes or less. It was so sloppy. I kept having to point out that polish was covering my skin. Like it was literally dripping off my cuticles. She, in shock, asks “where” as if she does not see a purple polish clearly dripping onto my skin. She cleans the polish with a clearly expressed annoyance on her face. I then have to ask her to redo my thumb because the nail polish is soooooo uneven and sloppy. After she finished, she told me to sit under the dryer and I said far past the 10 minutes she advised. I then, applied lotion and she scolded me and said I’d mess up the nails if I put lotion on and that I needed to be gently, mind you, I was only rubbing it on the skin of my fingers and my palms and in between my fingers. My nails are literally disgusting. They are unevenly coated and it looks like a child did them. It honestly isn’t even worth the $8 I paid because I could have 100 percent done better and that’s disappointing because I am quite uncoordinated. I am the absolute sweetest person when it comes to receiving a service from a business. I understand that people can be difficult and I make it my mission to always be kind, even with correction, and tip generously where I see fit. That said, the complete disregard to the quality of my nails and the all around negligence of basic nail care is beyond comprehension and reflective of this business’s standard of excellence. Do not waste your time or money here.

I also have a brown/black undertone on my nails from the polish which has parts that look brown. Plus the place smelled musty. Never going back.

Once you sit down in their world class massage chairs you wont want to get up! The pedicure list gives you many options of pedicures to choose from! My favorite part of the pedicure is the one with the lemon scrub and hot towel & lotion on your shins it feels so good! On top of that, they are the most welcoming staff! Ive seen women and children come here to get their spa day taken care of! As well as men coming for a pedicure or to clean up their nails! People of all ages and all colors are welcome here! You will be treated with kindness and respect from the best nail team in the DFW!!

Sabaa Ismail Ive been to many nail salons, and this one was honestly one of the absolute worst ones Ive visited. The environment as well as the service was not professional at all. When I get my nails done, the color usually lasts for at least a month. I got these done 2 weeks ago, and its already coming off (and not just slightly). Also, I was having trouble deciding between a couple of colors. I had tried a few as well, but as I sat down, I shared with the technician I was having trouble and just wanted to see 2 colors on my 2 nails and instead of being welcoming, the technicians response was that I already had some on. She didnt seem too happy or thrilled to do the work. In addition to all this, I tried to just overlook all this and relax while I was there, but an older male employee was sitting right behind me and scrolling through videos on what seemed like TikTok with high volume. I noticed there was a vacant room in the back not being used that he could have easily sat in and done that. It was not a pleasant experience for me to listen to his videos loudly the whole time, some of which poked fun of politically-related topics. Terrible place.

General Happiness I don’t even write reviews but I have to write a review about this place. This was my first time going here and they are inconsistent with their pricing. They will price you one thing then whenever it is time to actually pay they will try to price you another thing. I don’t understand their length policy either, they cut like 2mm then say that is a $2 difference. After I said I didnt like the nails I got, they were french tips with a pink base. This man came out of nowhere trying to join the argument when I was trying to talk to Jennifer which I believe is her name, because I was dissatisfied because the nail was giving bubbly and it needed buffing and it just wasn’t giving at all. Mind you, they were going to charge me $88 for some long french tip nails, that were completely different from my vision, but I was open to compromising. Anyways, after I said I didn’t like it the man was like just cut it off and I said that’s fine, but they cut it off and left it like that and told me I would have to pay $20 to get it taken off and soaked off. Why would I pay to take off nails I don’t like just because you couldn’t satisfy it. I was not going to spend $90 on some janky nails. I don’t appreciate trying to get yelled at and it was just unprofessional. Then the man was telling the woman not to service me for whatever reason, might be a racial thing because we all came in nice. Then when we were all confused he told her to be careful in case I do something. Mind you I’m under 150 pounds, what would I do? I just didn’t like my nails and I wasn’t going to pay. so I was left with these and my nails hurt. Anyways, don’t go to this business.

Lindsey Hagler Extremely disappointed with the quality of work and lack of service here. I wish I could give 0 stars. After only 2 days, my dipped nails began to crack and chip. The edges began to peel up. It was very obvious that the person who did my nails didnt do them correctly. I was out of town so couldnt go back to the salon until today. When I walked in, I showed a worker the issues. She asked how long it had been, I told her 9 days. She said that because it was over a week I would have to pay for the entire set again. After I continued to show her the issues, she said they could add another coat of dipped on top. I didnt think the peeling/cracking/chipping would be fixed by adding another layer on top, but i said we could try that. She then informed me that they were too busy and i would have to wait or come back. I wish I would have had them redone immediately after my first set, as I could tell they didnt look right. Unfortunately I didnt have time to deal with it that day, and I left. I just cant believe that I was told I would have to pay for a new set. After 9 days. Absolutely ridiculous. First 2 photos show the manicure 2 days after getting it done. The next 3 photos shows today.

Ashley It hasn’t even been a week, and my nails have already broken three times! Each repair costs me $8, and it’s beyond frustrating. This nail salon is a complete disaster. My full set, done by May, is full of lumps and bumps—it’s a total mess. I’ve attached pictures so you can see just how bad it is. To top it off, I got these done the day before Thanksgiving, and they’re already falling apart! And as if thats not bad enough, heres the update from yesterday: not even two freaking weeks in, and now all my nails are lifting! I already shelled out $70 upfront, plus more for freaking repairs! Thanks for wasting my damn time and money! And look at this—my pinky nail, which I got fixed on Sunday, has broken off again today! This is beyond ridiculous!

My nail tech did a really good job on my nails overall. She was just a bit rough on my cuticles. I absolutely loved the arm massage. The prices are reasonable and expected. My nails are super cute, and everyone was very hospitable.

LaWanda Triplett I got gel pedicure and full set with gel Paula was super sweet and told me by using the acrylic with color and it last longer and better. I never had my nails done without gel polish. This was just Saturday May 18th today is May 20th and the full acrylic came off my real nail and it seems the other nails are going to come off as well. My sister’s wedding is this weekend and I leave Friday morning something has to be done cause this is not fair or and good service I spent $95 on this I am soooo mad right now and I waited all that time to get them done only for them to start breaking off.Some of the nails were longer than the others I wanted square but some of them are so wide like it was a rush job and this is unacceptable. I need to speak with management or the owner cause I need my nails done right cause I don’t if it’s cause she didn’t use gel polish and only the acrylic but I am not happy at all and will no longer give y’all my service. This doesn’t even look like a professional job it’s like the color is fading. I can’t go to a wedding like this

I did a walk-in but appt is preferred due to it being a small business. Definitely an upgrade from the nail shop I had previously been going to over a year. The way they treat your nailbeds & cuticles are fantastic!!! I found my new home for mani & pedicure.

Alejandra Madera I asked for something simple, THE LAST PHOTO IS THE INSPO!!! I even showed her a picture of a client who had had her nails done at that same salon and I ended up with something horrible, I even had to ask her to paint the edges and she still didnt do it, really bad job, very rushed. I would never recommend it, I really feel like I didnt ask for anything difficult. I feel like she didnt even get the nail shape right, really a poor job.

Tyra Gale Wasted 55 on a poorly done fill. I went there around 5pm on Feb 23 and booked a fill. Firstly, I was told that because my prior set was done with gel polish, that my fill had to be done with gel polish- which I found to be quite odd considering Ive done a fill before with regular polish. I do nails myself and as long as all the gel polish is drilled off, you should be able to repaint them with regular polish. Im assuming because gel polish cost extra, theyd do anything to make extra money. The shape I requested was stiletto, which I wasnt given. I was given a very blunt, angular shape that looks completely unappealing. There was a point when I asked to see the nail file to file them down myself into a desirable shape because the woman doing them did such a poor job. She also left polish on my skin, burned me with the nail file and kept pausing to talk to her coworkers. At a certain point, her coworkers still around me in a circle to talk to her while she was working, which was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. The shape is also considerably short but I was charged an extra $5 for length (again, these people will find any way possible to over-charge you). Overall very awful experience, dont think Ill be back. Id ask for a refund but these people seem to already be penny pinching with these up charges. Terrible customer service, terrible establishment. Please dont give these people your money. Edit: I just got off the phone with the receptionist the following morning and was told that they dont do refunds under any circumstance, which I expected given how quick they are to upcharge. I myself spent about 4 hours filing them down, reshaping and repainting them. The set itself was so bad, I almost just took them off and did them over myself. I was just avoiding the labor, which is why I went and attempted to get them done in a shop. Luckily I myself know how to do nail so I was able to fix them to my liking. Still doesnt negate anything I said about this business being terrible and most definitely not worth the money.

Armanda Battle I never thought I’d be that person to write a review, but I had to come rate this place and share my awful experience. I was getting a pedicure and it was the fastest I ever had. I knew I still had calluses on my feet , so I told her she didn’t get all of it. She told me it would be extra. Which is weird, because they always been able to remove the calluses any time I got a pedicure… with out charging extra… so I’m like okay , I’ll pay. Why she come from the back with a cheese grater!! I’m like , no ! I don’t use that. I use the pumice stone. The lady started getting an attitude and left me in the chair for 10 minutes. My feet were dry. She came back after ten minutes and started scraping my dry heel with the pumice stone. I told her , it was okay. I will go else. I’m not sure if it was a race thing or what, but I also heard other customers getting greeted and offered something to drink. I didn’t get that treatment. So I left Replying to owner: should I have let her use the cheese grater on my feet while they were dry ? Then I would’ve bled… I went to another shop and they got all the calluses off with out using that tool. I agreed to paying extra $8 because she said she could get it off , didn’t know she was going back to get that. I actually did pay… $12 for my daughter’s nails, because that’s what the guy charged me.. still have receipt.. yall weren’t looking for me to pay because yall knew the woman had messed up my pedicure… but no need to go back and forward… I left my review , and I’m done here..: just hope she does better in the future and doesn’t run any more clients off.

Jordhyn Flowers So I take my little sister to get her nails done once a year for the first day of school. We usually go to Fantasy Nails but unfortunately they closed , which we found out today. We found this salon while out and about and were excited to try it out. As soon as my sister walked through the door, she immediately said she didn’t want to get her nails done here and I don’t know why. She just kept saying something didn’t feel right and I should’ve listened. We ended up going ahead and staying bc we had other stuff to do. BIG REGRET. I don’t know a lot about nails and thought that Gel was acrylic nails. When she started I asked her about them and she explained that acrylic were going to be $65. I explained to her that I was going to see if there was anywhere else for cheaper and got up and left for the door. As I was walking out they all started laughing and talking about me and my sister. NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME BACK.

Shannon Graham I started coming to Happy Nail a few months ago and its always a great experience. Paula does a fantastic job on manicures. She works efficiently and quickly without making you feel rushed. The pedicures are a great value - the massage chairs are comfortable and relaxing and each of the technicians are friendly and skilled. An appointment is recommended and they manage their schedule well. I absolutely love my bi-weekly time with them!

Black Cat If i could give zero stars i would. I just went into Happy Nail Spa in Denton. I have been going here for months and have spent hundreds of my hard earned dollars there and all I can say is "Theyre the worst". The will cheat you out of your money if they think you arent paying attention and lie to your face about it. I also think their racist because they tried to shoo me out and rush my nails because there were white people around. The owner even tried to escalate the situation when I caught him trying to cheat me by saying I misunderstood the girl doing my nails. They also tried to charge me for a service they didnt provide. Garbage place! Never going back! I will also be telling any and everyone I know to not even waste their time. Also my nails look horrible!

Lisa Byington Update...I called to talk to the manager and the person said the manager wasnt there and didnt know what time the manager would be back. Told me to call back. I am beyond disappointed. I have an interview tomorrow and my nails look horrible. Inside the shop, nails looked good. When the sunshine hit them, they are wavy and bumpy not smooth like they should be. There are spots where polish is missing. She missed my nail when filing and got my skin instead. She was very rough. Pedi went well. However, my legs started itching soon after. Allergic to whatever product was used. Spent a lot of money between both services. Highly disappointed.

Ca Oliv Got several cuts on my fingers and around my cuticles. The older lady doing my nails I believe to be the owner definitely doesn’t know how to use the nail drill. I left bleeding. Paid around $60 to have a horrible result. Gel all over my cuticles and under my nails and she tried to clean with the “drill”. Result several cuts. Plus she told me it would be one price and at the end she charged extra and told me she would give me a “discount”

Tempest Moore I will be looking for another salon. I initially came in for a pedicure and full set. The man that greeted me was extremely rude and impersonal. He didn’t say hello or anything. I told him what I needed done and he got me with a tech who was extremely nice. The second time I came in, I needed a repair on my thumb nail (it broke). Again I encountered the same man, who just said “sit” Keep in mind I called prior to coming and was told to come about 4PM.

Bianca Bentley An older lady just did my daughter’s nails and they are horrible. It literally took her forever to finish. They should not have this lady doing nails she was shaking the entire time as well. I honestly felt bad for her seeing her struggle to finish. They should not let her do nails again.

Marisa Lynn Do Not recommend! Went here because my friend had a gift certificate. I got the $40 pedi and nail dip. I did not get polish on my feet. The technician did not buff my nails, so they look dull. After sitting with my hands in acidtone for over 45 minutes I asked the gentleman about the status of my dip service, someone spoke up. Turns out they got my friend and I mixed up. They left out my friends deluxe manicure (only dipped her nails) and rushed my dip. There are better places with friendlier and professional services. INails or Epic Nails in Corinth to name a couple. Dont waste your time here!

Y. Montalvan If I can put a minus one to this place I would have done so. My friend and I went here yesterday 3/9/2024, and both techs were just so rude, specially mine. It was a guy but for their luck they don’t even wear name tags . If you can avoid getting your nails done here please do so. The dude had the worse attitude, if I will barely move my hand , he will pull my hand in an ugly way ., they act like they are doing stuff for free, on top of that they are super expensive. For the same job I got I have paid up to $60 here they charged me and my friend $72. We were still nice enough to leave them a tip but they honestly don’t deserve it. Go somewhere else. They are so rude! Very unprofessional, the lady that did my friends was done and just left and did not even let my friend know , until my friend had to get her attention so she came back and put oil in her nails. Worse place ever. I don’t understand how is it that they have good reviews. In top of that the dude that did my nails, his English was so hard to understand and he will get mad cause I did not get what he was asking. Such a jerk! They sure won’t ever have our business back again and I will make sure everyone I know that gets their nails done don’t ever go there!!!! My nails were not done so natural looking either , they are thick and he could had done better!!!

A V Wish I had read the reviews. Horrible service. WAY overpriced and can’t even do the job right. I never feel bad for not tipping but I was charged $15 for eyebrow waxing and on top of that left looking the same as I walked in. I feel robbed. There’s like 10 other waxing companies places on that strip. Try another one. DO NOT GO THERE!!

Sarah Walker I recently switched to this nail salon after my last place made me too uncomfortable with people fighting over business and I was always told they couldn’t do matte nails. I was so happy to hear that Texas Deluxe could! I’ve been asking for years at my old salon and I’ll say Texas Deluxe will keep my business! They are always punctual, polite and very clean!

J JP Im so disappointed in this nail salon. Ive been searching for a place thats open according to its posted hours and provides quality service, but this salon definitely isnt it. During my visit, I constantly had to tell the techs to stop buffing and filing so much. I kept jerking my feet and hands away, cringing at the feeling. The pedicure and nail art were mediocre, and while the manicure and nail set looked okay, my fingers bled for a whole week afterward. Its been two weeks, and the inflammation is still there. The attached pictures show my nails bleeding three days later. Ive never experienced anything like this. I hate that COVID caused many good nail techs to retire or move away. I miss the techs from when I was in high school who actually cared for your nails and ensured they were healthy. These days, techs seem only interested in making money, not realizing that quality work is what keeps customers coming back. I contacted the salon about the situation, and they offered me medicine. I told them I had already put medicine on it. This should have been a coaching moment for their techs. I wont be returning. Ill just continue to drive an hour away to get my nails done.

Henry Moore Knew I needed a pedicure; happened to be in Golden Triangle Mall, just happened to see this salon; almost didn’t go in because of below average Reviews, went in anyway, place was clean, Lee was very hard to understand but very friendly. She took great care and worked hard on my toenails to make them look good. Tipped her nicely and was most pleased with her work.

BreD Over The worst service and a disgusting upkeep of the shop. The lady who did my pedicure was eating a sucker while doing my pedicure and then set the eaten sucker in one of the bowls from the pedicure that she had removed product from. The pedicure looked as though a toddler polished my feet and once I expressed my disappointment Kelly came over and angrily tried to fix my toes. Go elsewhere if you want quality and cleanliness.

sharala nizamy I had a very disappointing experience with their customer service. I repeatedly informed the technician that she was causing me pain during my nail removal, and unfortunately, she damaged my nail. The situation was even worse yesterday; I was bleeding so profusely that I forgot to take pictures. This picture is from today. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone.

Erica Rivers Went for a manicure and pedicure with wife and the tech kept hurting my wife and not altering her behavior when she said ouch. Her nails were dremeled too far down and messed up. We left after just a few minutes. My tech did an okay job with just the beginning of treatment but we could not stay with her being hurt and her nails being damaged.

K G i was charged twice for my nails. she said it only printed one receipt and i stated that my bank transactions show i was charged twice. the lady tried to say it was my bank when ive never had this problem. just came to them two weeks ago. been coming to them on and off for years. she also stated she had other customers(it was only one man in there and somebody else was attending to him) and i said i dont give a damn yall charged me twice and if it doesnt get fixed i will be returning to make sure i get my money back. and my nails could look better. will not be returning after this.
