Leslie Stephens Blanca is absolutely incredible! She’s not only talented but also one of the most caring and gentle nail techs I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. She really takes the time to listen to what you want and always goes above and beyond to make sure your nails look perfect. Blanca has a great sense of humor, so every appointment is a fun experience. Her attention to detail is unmatched – she can take your nails and turn them into something truly amazing. If you want flawless nails and a relaxing, enjoyable experience, Blanca is the one to see! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-notch nail care.

Abriana Martinez Booked a last minute same day appointment online with Terryn & had a wonderful experience. Super kind staff & clean facility. It had been awhile since I had gotten my eyebrows waxed. I usually get them waxed at the same place I get my nails done. But this was 10x more gentle. Pain level was no more than 2/10 throughout the process. I will be back!

Sowmya Yalamanchili This review is long overdue. I cannot review my experience at Clean Slate highly enough. After having had a not-so-pleasant bikini wax at another local salon one month prior to my first visit at Clean Slate in 2022, I was a bit nervous. Luckily, I was treated to a genuinely fabulous experience, which is hard to come by when youre talking about bikini waxing! The atmosphere is always lovely, and Sierra, my waxing esthetician, is very attentive, thorough, and extremely professional. I have become a regular at this spa since 2022, and would highly recommend that others do the same!

From start to finish, the experience was fantastic, and for my first time going to her I felt like she really took care of me as an individual. Heather was not only professional but also made me so feel incredibly comfortable throughout the entire process and gave me great after care advice. brianna comminie I LOVED how she did the nails! My nail tech was Katie and she was amazing! She got the best colors and did an amazing job with the gold chrome! The place was beautifully designed! They offered drinks and the service was amazing. I cannot wait to come back!

Grace Recla I’ve been getting my nails done here for almost 2 years and it’s definitely the best nail salon I’ve been to near Austin! I see Teresa and she’s amazing. Jada Lewis Katie did such an amazing job on my nails for my birthday. She will definitely be my regular nail tech from here on out. I always come to Nexgen for my manicures and pedicures and I will always be a regular here. They get you in fast and do such a great job!

Kaia Oberg Not my usual place, but I had a gift certificate. When I came in and they asked me to sit down the gentlemen next to me (one of the employees ) was playing His game at full volume on His phone. As she started my nails she didn’t do any cuticle clean up or check for hangnails and jumped straight in. She was letting the powder sit without brushing and it stained my fingers, her solution at the end was to take the electric file to my skin and shred my skin. The edges of my nails are bumpy and fingers are all dirty. As I was leaving she made the checkout process super confusing and was asking me to tip her. I have never left without tipping, but as she rushed through my service and didn’t take her time I wasn’t paying for her time. It took her less than 30 minutes which at any other place it takes them at least 45 min-1 hr. It is definitely more of a convenience place and I won’t be going her again. Her name was Jenny so it may have been just her style and not the whole salon. There are many other shops with better service & cheaper price in town.

I’ve searched for 3 years for a nail tech in Georgetown after moving from austin. Especially if you’re looking for acrylics, but also good quality pedis This salon is honest and doesn’t nickel and dime you!!!! A little over a month ago Micheal did my pedi and talked me into getting my nails done. He HAND PAINTED my French and it was perfect and even on all 10 fingers. Then I went back for a fill with 4 broken nails (not his fault I work with my hands and I’m rough) and they were all symmetrical when he finished. Then this time yesterday I had just one broken one (went on vacation and the luggage won) and all perfect and symmetrical. He takes his time yall. He uses the drill a little but he lays that acrylic so perfect and hand files to the shape I want. He’s patient and we collaborate on colors and design and he doesn’t make me feel bad for it. My last 3 sets have been so consistent and I’m so grateful I found him. I read my book while he shapes and then we talk when it’s time to paint. He’s been doing nails for longer than he wanted to admit and started in California. Speaking of book, the first time I saw him I accidentally left mine AND HE WALKED OVER TO HEB TRYING TO FIND ME so he could give it back cause I said my husband was picking me up there. Now, pedicures. I’ve been coming here monthly since we’ve moved here 3 years ago. Doesn’t matter who you get they take such good care of you. Even my sister who lives in Bastrop waits to get pedis until she visits. Yall. Dont miss out on this salon. You won’t regret it. I’ll add photos to my review as we approach holiday season and I’m excited for my holiday designs as Micheal chooses them!

Scott Smith - Wealth in Real Estate Cindy and July were amazing today. My daughter and I went in for pedicures this evening. I like to treat her once in a while and I like pedicures too. The massage chairs felt so good. They gave us some drinks and some snacks and some excellent conversation along the way. Very cool ladies. And very detailed as well, they spent a lot of time and made sure everything was just right for us. Thank yall very much.

A N I don’t know how this place has all of these 5 star reviews. I’ve barely had my nails (acrylics/gel x) for two weeks and they’re already coming off. But that’s not what this review is about. I wish I could remember the tech who did my nails, but I think I just blocked her out entirely. Word of the wise, maybe don’t make fun of your client’s features? Or REPEATEDLY address them?? Can’t believe this needs to be said, but this is exactly why I shy from going to salons. I was in a car wreck and half of my nails broke, also I naturally have small nail beds- this tech would NOT stop saying how small my baby nail beds were and kept laughing about it. Also she applied two nails on crooked because of some useless light lamp contraption she was using vs. the full curing device. I don’t know why I even stayed/tipped. Also again, can’t believe this needs to be said, but don’t speak with your coworker/buddy in a different language and gesture to a customer then fake smile and say “it so prettyyy”. Right. I am a linguist by trade and speak four languages. I would NEVER speak a language someone doesn’t seemingly know in front of them, very clearly talking about them. It’s tacky and unprofessional. You’re in an English speaking space. If you are going to tell your coworker something about the client or the work you’re doing on the client, you can say it in the language the client understands- or not say it at all. Your salon is why nail salons that aren’t predominantly English speaking have a bad reputation. The quality, the service, the repeated addressing of flaws that I CANNOT CONTROL are why I will never go back here again.

Christy Conlan This is my favorite nail salon ever. The whole team is great and Tay is a nail wizard that does the cutest nails that I get lots of compliments on. I love this place.

Grace Yi Honestly the experience at the store was not that bad. Everyone was receptive and kind. They helped each other put and handled a crowded salon well despite only having 5 members on staff. However, I got a gel manicure on 1/2, went to sleep and I awoke with my French tip chipped and a stone missing from one of my nails! Am kind of disappointed, as I spent a pretty penny here and tipped everyone who worked on my nails (both pedicure and manicure).

julie kravchenko Tay and her team at Alina Nails do amazing work! I have been to a handful of salons in the area and Tay is the only tech i keep coming back to. Every few weeks, i bring in a picture of something I would think may be challenging, but she never disappoints. She has such a warm personality and gets to know her customers on a personal level. Shes very meticulous and detail oriented with her design work. The whole team does their best to make sure their clients are comfortable and happy. I would give them 10 stars if i could!!!

Shandri Roedel They always do my nails right, even when I dont even know what I want sometimes. This time I got an American tip dip. At least Im pretty sure thats what its called. She knew what I was talking about is all that matters lol.

Casey Doe Very through, friendly, and wonderful customer service. I went in for a pedicure and my daughter got a manicure. At first I was a little surprised by the price, but the quality of service was exceptional and the duration was more than fulfilling. When I left I felt well taken care of and the price felt fair. I hope to be back!

Robert DeWitt Its easy to schedule online here. I usually go late afternoon on Sundays, its a bit slower. Allow have to do is check in on the tablet as you walkin. I always get greeted right away. I just get a basic mani and pedi. The foot massage comes with the pedicure. A person will get you something to drink while you are relaxing. The staff seem genuinely happy to be there and the owner is super friendly. I do recommend making an appointment as they do get busy.

Bee Girl This is by far the best place for pedicures. The classic pedicure is $35 and it is a great deal! I only wish this location was closer to me. I will go out of my way for this location. They are clean and the atmosphere is great! I always get gel. They have a wide array of colors to choose from.

Sarah McMullen The entire experience from start to finish was impressive. The robes, the slippers, mimosa, and all around feeling of the place felt luxurious. Add on top of that the massage from Beth was one of the best Ive ever had in my life. The pressure was perfect, the weighted eye masks, and the warm towels on my feet and hands was just next level.

Linzi Newth What a great place! Super clean, high end facility, very attentive staff, great amenities, quiet atmosphere. Alison was my very friendly and kind nail tech. Amy Jo provided a phenomenal massage! And Jessica gave a wonderful body scrub. I don’t live in the area but if I did, I would definitely be a regular!

Marti Leon First time getting a massage at Spa Luxe and it was wonderful! The staff is very welcoming and setting is quite relaxing. I enjoyed the amenities while waiting for the massage. This consists of infused fruit water, snacks or cocktails if you wish. The changing room is impeccably clean, shower and hot sauna room which I enjoyed! My massage therapist, Bee was amazing. She asked if I had any injuries, focus areas or areas to avoid. I truly felt rejuvenated afterward. I plan on returning and bringing my hubby.

Abriana Martinez I rarely get massages but decided to treat myself. Truly was the best decision ever. 5 star service all the way through. Staff was friendly & took time to show me around. I cannot stress enough how relaxing the ambiance was. I will admit I was a bit nervous before my appointment because in the past my experience with massages hadn’t been the best. But this was a polar opposite experience. My massage therapist Jill was amazing. She was kind & made me feel comfortable/safe. She did an excellent job working out the knots in my back & checked in throughout the massage to make sure the pressure was ok. I work a physically demanding job & left feeling physically & mentally amazing. I want to go back already!!

Bridget ONeill Tracy was awesome! Great attention to detail and very gentle with my nails. The salon was also very clean and welcoming to walk-ins. Will definitely come back again next time I’m in Austin.

I felt really comfortable here & I cant wait to come back . I love my nails . Theyre exactly how I wanted them & they do a check in through the process to make sure you get exactly what you want . I cant wait to see you guys again ! My nails were 65 & my toes were 95 (French tip & shellac with diamonds ) which is a total of 160. For both I was charged $167 including tax I believe & she gave me a discount for my review the receipt reflects $10 but I think it was just about $2/$3 which Im not 100% sure but Ill definitely be back thank you guys !

Dara Lovett My first time going here was really good. I am very indecisive and Tammy was patient with me and even helped me out in choosing a design that I would love. For the basic pedicure with gel color and full set gel with design, I paid $113. I believe this is normal pricing for today’s time. The salon is very large annd spacious and is beautifully decorated. The music was also calming creating such a relaxed experience. Overall, I love my nails and will be returning!

T Robinson This location is anything but "Prime." It feels like they just want to rush customers in and out, showing little pride in their work. They had two good nail technicians, but one of them is no longer with the team. I definitely won’t be returning. They watch you closely when its time to pay and charge you for every little thing. While the prices are displayed on the website and on the wall when you first enter, theyve become outrageous. The service has significantly declined. During my last visit, I was cut three times by my technician, to the point where I asked her to stop servicing me. The owner, Samantha, came over, and she always has a very negative attitude that is apparent on her face. She finished up my pedicure, but thats all she did. She didn’t provide any additional cuticle work; she just picked up where the previous technician left off. When I asked the technician who cut me if she was having a bad day, she confirmed that she was, which I found appalling. Please, do me a favor: there’s no need to reply with a "Dear " like you have in the past reply to others it’s clear that your responses are automated and lack any genuine engagement with clients. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I won’t be returning—don’t waste your time or money here. From the moment I walk in, I felt judged. They don’t take pride in cleaning their stations; when one person gets up, the next person simply sits down without any cleaning in between. If you ask them to clean, they just tell you that they use a bag in the pedicure bowl and have new, clean plugs. However, it would be nice if they could at least wipe down the chairs for someone who has been sitting there for an hour or more. A clean environment should be expected when entering a salon. Samantha did take 10% off my bill, but this definitely doesn’t account for me having cut cuticles and sore feet I shouldn’t leave this place in pain when I came for relaxation. Thanks for understanding, but please don’t feel the need to respond. I appreciate my money, and I’ll take it elsewhere. Enjoy!

Christina Cortez I come here monthly and Cody and his team are friendly, do a consistently amazing job, and prices are very reasonable. This is the best nail salon I have been to across several states. Color is vibrant, staff takes the time to ensure beautiful quality results. I won’t go to another salon unless I move. Highly recommend! Tip: Make sure to make an appointment as they are quite busy with regulars, but they are flexible enough to squeeze you in.

Cherish Williams I have visited this establishment twice now and both times I left feeling as if the service was not up to par. After my first visit with sub par service, I wanted to give the staff grace. Sometimes people simply have a bad day. However, when I visited the second time I was met with the same experience. I wanted to love this place. I gave four stars due to the service. Otherwise, the place is cleanly and they have clean nail practices. Although, I will not be back. I attached a picture of my service. I received a manicure and pedicure.

Annika Oberg Overall pretty good experience, Super sweet employees, unfortunately I think the shaping on my nails could have been a little better some are pretty pointy and others more rounded, which they do charge extra to shape so it was a little disappointing. They also weren’t cleaned up super well, my finger got cut with the clippers which accidents happen so it wasn’t too much of an issue. I was charged $70 for these which seemed a bit over priced for the overall execution but is pretty average price for SNS tips with chrome. Lots of color options and nice location though! I would make an appointment if possible since it is a bit of a smaller salon. I would go back but maybe ask for these things to be cleaned up:)

Ana Barefield I came in at 6:30 just before they closed because I was disappointed about how my pedicure had turned out at another well-known salon in Round rock. I showed Abbey & Jimmy a picture for reference of what I wanted. A very very simple daisy design. Jimmy was kind and pleasant and he worked quickly to remove the polish from the other shop and replaced it with exactly what I asked for! I will definitely be making this my new spot. They were friendly, hopeful, and the pedicure chairs were luxurious! The places clean and calm. I loved it.

Tyning Edwards I moved here from Kansas City four years ago and had been searching for someone who had a similar technique as my technician in KC. I tried other salons, and when I thought I had found someone, they moved or left. I stopped by Grandlux on a whim and spoke to Abby. I showed her a picture of my nails done by my former technician and she immediately indicated, without hesitation, yes, “I can do this technique!” I scheduled an appointment and I was very very pleased with the results. Abby understood the assignment! The salon is clean. The staff is friendly. They serve complimentary drinks. They seem to run a very organized business and that is very much appreciated. If you are looking for a new nail salon/spa, I definitely recommend their services. You will appreciate the experience!

Andrea Alaniz I recently visited Grand Lux Nail Salon in Round Rock, Texas, and I’m very disappointed with my experience. I only had a polish change and a nail trim, but I was charged $30, which I feel is far too much for the quality I received. My nails are not at all what I expected or wanted. They look rushed and poorly done—honestly, they feel like remedial work at best. For $30, I expected much better results or gel polish...I’m genuinely unhappy with how my nails turned out, and I won’t be returning. I dont typically leave negative reviews, but this was just not acceptable. One star rating

Amber Westberry My daughters and I have been here quite a few times and the experience has been exceptional every time! Very clean, techs are friendly and very talented, the pedicures are so relaxing. I highly recommend!

Zamira Leaks I went to this place twice with hopes that it would be better the second time. The salon is beautiful, nice atmosphere and they do serve tasty drinks and popcorn. As far as nails, not too impressed. I went in for an acrylic nail removal and gel manicure. In the process of removing my nails, the nail tech put a very hot towel on my hands that I had to ask him to remove three times because it was burning my hand and I even had a huge red mark afterwards showing where it had burned me. Then while drilling off the nails he nicked my pinky and made it bleed. Once finished I noticed there was still gel polish around my nails that hadn’t been cleaned up and the manicure wasn’t that great. The gel polish lasted two days before chipping off on multiple nails. Overall, unsatisfied and will not be retuning unfortunately.

Mallory Davis I’ve been searching for a great nail salon that does quality work without cutting corners and this was it! Recently I’ve noticed places skip cutting the cuticles or doing the massage and lotion and those are some of my favorite steps. This place was beautiful, clean, reasonably priced, friendly workers and just overall great. The selection of colors was amazing. I found exactly the shade I wanted! I will definitely be back!

Marisela C I used to be a regular customer but stopped going because the quality of my manicures and pedicures went down. I decided to give them a try again today. Walked in, one customer besides myself and daughter. I was sat in the pedicure chair and given two sets of samples of colors to choose from. When I asked the lady for options that were not gel, she said that’s all the colors they have. I can clearly see multiple racks of colors, but she obviously decided to not share those with me. My feet feel as if I didn’t even have a pedicure, just painted nails. I felt like I was an inconvenience for her as I had interrupted her scrolling time. Would never go back

Rachel Ayala I’ve come here twice now and my nails have looked perfect! They had quick and attentive service. My acrylics were $60 and for a design it was just a $5-10 add on. The pink ones were my favorite so far and they stayed on for weeks!! I’ll be coming back! :)

Brandi New Noir Nail Bar consistently exceeds my expectations in cleanliness, efficiency, and overall experience. As a professional in the beauty industry, I’ve struggled to find a nail salon in this area that meets my standards, but Noir Nail Bar definitely delivers. I love that I can comfortably work during my pedicure, and the complimentary drink adds a nice touch to the experience. While their prices are slightly higher than some, I believe its worth it—my nails stay on beautifully, and I never have to worry about inconsistencies. I make it a point to book my next appointment before I leave, and I always tip 20%, with a little extra during the holidays. The staff is incredibly accommodating, and I appreciate their willingness to answer any questions I have. I often go for long nails with designs, and my average appointment for one service runs about $100, which I find very reasonable for the quality I receive. Highly recommend Noir Nail Bar for anyone looking for a top-notch nail care experience!

Emily Simmang Been coming here for 6 months or so at this point. Sometimes it is great and other times not so much. Unfortunately, the not so great has been the norm my past few visits. Pricing and quality is extremely inconsistent, but there aren’t many other options for nail salons in the area. Charging $5 for shape when all the tech is doing is filing the same shape from my last appointment is ridiculous. Sometimes they charge and sometimes they don’t; I don’t understand. Today the tech I had was less than ideal. She soaked and redid my dip manicure all in 30 minutes and was in a huge rush. The girl next to me got there before me and was still there after me. christine Thompson I would give them 0 stars! Beware because this place does not stand behind their work. I went in to get my nails done and picked a color out like always the name of the color was 147 Glow It was on a ring with all the gel & dip regular colors. NOTHING said GLOW In the dark. The nail tech and the tech doing my pedicure didn’t say a word to me about the color being a glow in the dark! I’ve never ever had this happen and when I called in and asked for them to redo the color I was told no they would not redo them for me. This is the 3rd time I’ve had an issue and I go back giving them another chance and they never ever do anything about there mistakes. They just want your money and don’t care about customer satisfaction!! I’m out $140.00

Faith Moore New to town. Wanted to get brows threaded and pedicure. Arrived and there were two customers in the store and two employees. Facility was clean and comfortable. The gentleman informed me that I could get threading but did not have time for pedicure. I thanked him and the lady brought me back for my eyebrows. I loved having a reclined table to lay on while she worked. Requested that my brows stay thick but be cleaned up. She was kind and sociable. Did a nice job, but she spent the first half with thread and the second half with tweezers. I know nothing about this skill but it just didn’t feel like she had command of the thread… not sure if that makes sense. I’m overall pleased with the work (before and after Pics included - yes my eyebrows are always slightly different) but not sure if I’ll return yet. Will try other locations. Also I noticed a sign on the front desk that said they charge $2 for disposable pedicure sink liner which seems like something that should be standard practice.

Charlott Dent I’ve been getting my nails and eyebrow threading at this establishment for years now, and I LOVE them! They’re the sweetest couple ever!! They work super hard to make sure their clients are happy and completely satisfied with their work! I have referred a lot of my friends and will continue to do so. I usually walk in for services, but it’s better to make an appointment, if your able, I’m usually not. They’ll try their best to work me in, which is about 95% of the time, and if they aren’t able, they apologized and ask me to come back or make an appointment! NEVER have I witnessed them be rude to ANY clients or ANY potential clients!

Nicole Weston I moved to Georgetown from south Austin and needed to find a new nail salon, so I came here. The good: the salon was clean, nice, friendly, and making an appointment was very easy. My pedicure was with a different tech and she did a great job. It has been a long time since I got a pedicure but it turned out great! The not so good: I also went for a gel manicure to get a basic French tip manicure for my engagement photos. The tech pushed me to do poly gel (basically didn’t give me a choice) which I didn’t know was also more expensive, and I was reluctant to do anyways since I have always done regular gel but she insisted. She told me it would last longer, that it would damage my nails less, etc. It’s been less than two weeks and my nails are not lasting. I usually get 3-4 weeks out of a gel manicure without problems. I have a chip in the actual poly gel on my right pointer finger and a crack in the top gel on another finger. Also within 1 week, the edges of the polish at my cuticle area started to lift and now catch on things, especially my hair in the shower which is super annoying. I’m not normally one to leave negative reviews and I understand things can happen so I apologize but after spending a lot of money on my nails I’m not super thrilled. My engagement photos got rescheduled by a week and since my nails didn’t last, I will have to have them redone before the photos. I may just make the drive back down to my old salon in south Austin.

I’m glad that she has someone to take care of her, laugh while she works and give good ideas on how to make her look and feel good. Amy worked me in while I sat with my friend and helped me pick out a great color that coordinated really nice with my toes that I’d gotten done at another salon. I’m not fancy like my girl rocking her long black nails for Halloween; diaper changing duty is rough, but I still like getting SNS on my nubs! This is definitely a gem of a spot!

BK Ortego Ive been getting a pedicure at Spa Pro Nails in Georgetown for many years and the last five years or so under the current owner manager has been and continues to be the best here and I think the best in Georgetown! Anna is exceptional. The recent complete renovation to upgrade the furnishings, equipment, and decor is really nice and the quality and design is appropriate to enable the best service and quality treatments The owner is always out front and available to ensure things flow smoothly. She appears to be super detail-oriented on nail services, cleanliness, and the customers experience and is always very engaged in a friendly inviting manner that creates the best vibe and experience for customers. I know doing a pedicure on a man that wears construction boots daily is not the most appealing task, but Anna works wonders on my damaged great toes and really has improved the overall health and appearance of my feet with regular visits every few weeks. The owner manager obviously demands a high level of excellence from her team but obviously they like it and do well because the customers like to be taken care of by a professional talented staff in a place thats busy but never hurried. Always a great experience and at very reasonable prices for the superb quality provided.

Laura I get my nails done here twice a month and I love it! Diana is so good at what she does and when I come up with a crazy idea shes always down to do it! Shes very talented. Ive also forgot my appointment before and she was understanding of it. :)

Abisua Villalobos I went to get a pedicure and my nails done for my babys birth and litterally got them done around 4pm to 5pm and at 6:40 pm i realized 2 of my nails were already coming off and the tip of the nail is already separating. I still only went to get the bigger part just fixed and it looks so ugly so obvious that the nail had to be fixed. Besides i realized the employes looked upset and were making faces at having to fix the nail. Anyway not worth the 99$ that i paid for both pedicure and acrylic gel.

Reener 48 It was really a “wham bam, thank you ma’am” experience. The girl who did my nails acted like she had taken speed or something. I was even rushed with picking a nail color. I picked out two but when I asked about the second color so I could choose between them she said they didn’t have that one while talking loudly to the other ladies in Vietnamese. She was probably complaining about me taking too much time to decide, which was really not the case. So, while I’m getting my toes done very quickly, there is another lady make-shiftless doing my nails while standing up at the sides of the pedicure chair. Really? Then when the pedicure is done she takes me to a nail station and starts doing my nails with lightning speed like the building is on fire! Then I was rushed to pay the bill and told to tip in cash. I only had a 5 so that is what she was tipped. I would rather have left a better tip, even though the service was sub-par. I’m thinking I will try another place.

Tiffany Ruiz The nail job was quick and mediocre. I was told they were dry and went to pay. When I paid, I didnt have cash to tip so I put it on my card. I left a 25% tip ($10 on $38). I was then told that next time I should tip in cash... Um, excuse me? A thank you would have been nice. I dont think that is appropriate. Take the tip, say thank you, and pay an income tax on it like the rest of us making a salary do. That is why I left a little extra. Also, once I left, it was apparent my nails were not dry so I returned the have them fixed. I wont be back, not the best service.

Megan Aranda What I wanted vs What I got. I did tell the tech that I wanted less white thickness and more pink, which she did not want to do. I had to settle for an almond shape to shave off the white and my nails are much shorter than wanted. My pedi was okay but this experience will be why I wont be going back.

Genesis Well this one is a tough one for me. Ive been coming here since it opened but unfortunately I was disappointed on the last two visits. The last time (12/31/19) I got my nails done, but I left the store looking like I already needed a refill! (1 pictures taken in the salon still, other at home) So disappointing!! $54 & not even worth it. The time prior to that (week or 2 before) I came for underarm and leg wax.. SHOCKED AND DISGUSTED when I realized there was no type of regard for hygiene/sanitation. Blatantly re-dipping of the stick into the wax, same stick for both areas too. I feel bad for whoever needed a wax after me. As for the technicians, they are all so kind and welcoming. Which is why I didnt want to leave a bad review, unfortunately I felt it was warranted. Hopefully this place gets better!! So much potential.

The people are always friendly. The service is good and theyll give you a drink. I always leave with great looking hands and feet.

Rachel Rainey I used to love this place. It was my go to. Everyone who works there is very kind and they can usually get you in quickly. Last time I went, they cut my heel pretty badly with the grater thing they use. It bled a lot and obviously impacted my experience. They were very apologetic and kind, and I know it was an accident. However, they didnt offer even a discount on my service. Its been over a week since this happened, and Im still hurting from it. Being that its a pretty bad cut on my heel, it hurts every time I walk. I really dont think I can go back after this experience.

C Whitehouse HORRIBLE SERVICE AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! My friend and I went last night for the first time. Arrived at 5:30pm for a fill for her and a soak off and overlay on my nails. I want hotpink with hot pink chrome and she wanted blue with blue chrome. Her nails are so thick with LOTS of lumps! My are so uneven its ridiculous and not even the correct color. We both tried many times to get correction during the process. However 2 hours in we just had to give up. We asked for the owner, asked what he could to do help us. He offered to fix but after numerous times during the process of telling them to fix, we didnt have faith it would be done. The"owner" then stated he wasnt the owner and couldnt help. The owner "Ty" was on vacation until next week. Needless to say we walked out of there stunned with the lack of professionalism and the poor quality of work. My friend had blue polish all around her nails and I had pink all under my nails they didnt even bother to clean. We went based on reviews. Being is a customer service based business myself, I would never allow a customer to leave knowing I could have done something better. Instead this business didnt want to bother with customer service and satisfaction.

They spend a generous amount of time massaging your feet versus getting short changing. Polishing services are mediocre. But attention & dedication to foot massege is well worth it. Maricela Ortiz I’m giving 2 stars for hospitality. Went there and unfortunately my nails all lifted. They started lifting the 2nd day after I paid $115 for a regular fill in and got a gel pedicure. I also tipped the guy that works there $10 just for my fill. He did a terrible job. My nails have all lifted since then and I had to buy nail glue to at least get 2 weeks out of my fill in.

Kcs S This is probably the 6 or 7th consecutive set of GelX nails Van has done for me. I love her work and shaping. I have never had a single nail pop off. I am pretty hard on my hands. I usually come once a month to a month and a half to get them filled. I always love my new set. Thank you Van.

Maegan Harless I have been going to Bliss for a few years now. I took a break when my tech went on vacation as I hadnt given my nails a break for nearly a year. It took a long time for them to recover and I had done them myself at home in healthier ways than acrylics etc. This week is my birthday so I went back to my nail tech and got gel x done. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what it was in the past. She had to redo 3 of my nails more than twice due to shortening them with a regular nail cutter instead of a round one which made the nail split up the middle. Meaning she had to soak and drill them off multiple times on the same 3 nails. One nail she did three times and it still isnt on my finger correctly. The nail done 3x is still not covering the side of my nail, it is lifted. My cuticles were not pushed back and the gel x nail was put over the cuticle themselves. The amount of glue under the nails on my skin in genuine CLUMPS is insane. I was told "it will help keep the nail and your real nail attached" - except it isnt on my real nail, its on the gel x nail and my skin which can cause contact dermatitis. I asked many times for her to get it off my skin and she did a little but not much. The shape is not consistent. They look as though Ive put press-ons on my nails as they are so high up on my nail bed. They were so sore last night and red... I went to bed only to wake up to swollen, angry, painful throbbing pain. I go on a trip this weekend for my birthday and do not have time to go back in to get them fixed. Im going to have to soak them off at home and spend my birthday trip without my nails done and now extremely short as she cut them all way down (another reason the glue isnt even on my real nail). I gave Bliss the opportunity to refund me for my $65 service that took an hour and a half because she had to redo so many nails so times so many times and they said no refunds. I tipped 15% and even asked them to keep that but due to not being able to keep the nails on I dont think its fair they keep the service fee for a service I cant have/appreciate. They did offer to redo them, but even if I had the time to go back in, who would want to give that another chance after this experience? I have recommended this salon to so many people over the years and always raved about my tech. The lack of care and lack of ability to take ownership that its a bad job is genuinely so off-putting. I sent them photos that I am attaching below and they only made a comment on how they are unable to see any swelling but do not address anything else. They also told me that this is completely normal as I have not had my nails done in a while??? I am now forced to leave this negative review - which I hate doing - and work with my credit card company to be issued a refund.

courtney saad I popped in this nail salon on my way home from work because it was on my route but I had never been here before. Let me say the 2 stars are for how nice and polite everyone was while I was there and because unlike the place I typically go to which is always slammed they are slow. Several things went wrong. They gave me the free complimentary drink of hot tea however the glass still had the person before me lipstick on the cup, disgusting. The nail tech tried not once, twice, three times but four times to up sale me on a special rhinestone on my ring finger. I politely refused three times before the last time I said I’m a nurse I can’t have that on my nail. The lack of attention to detail in there. Not with just my personal nail tech but perhaps everyone, when she started to dip my nails the color had the right number NU117 on the lid, but the base powder was NU105 so someone else had put back the wrong lid to container. She had to take off what she had put on, find the right dip bottom, and start over. Then she convinced me to do my ring fingers a glitter color but when she started the dip she forget and had to redo my ring fingers from the color to the glitter. Fast forward to the next morning when I woke up my right pointer and middle finger had already cracked and chipped. I didn’t take a picture of that sadly just the fix job they did. I will say I went back and she fixed the two fingers that had chipped but just blamed it on the powder and said ‘idk why I didn’t just do three coats’ and then when she tried to clip off the excess dip from my finger pinched my finger and apologized. All in all I’d rather wait at the other place than go back here again. Oh also it’s the same price $62 with tip as the other nail salon in town where I’ve never dealt with any of this. Update it chipped again probably because they only patched the chipping originally and didn’t redo the entire nail.

I said oh I wanted them trimmed down a little bit. He got angry with me saying Im making more work for him andI shouldve told him before. He talked super mean and proceeded to chop my nails all the way back. Why would I pay $45 For acrylic nails if it just discovering my real nail base?

Rachel Abbott Clean salon. Not overly fancy feeling but nice staff. We went in as a group of 4 and were seated in 2 pairs for our manicures. We were all happy with our manicures. I personally got an SNS dip. It’s lasted over 2 weeks and looks great. I was a little bummed there wasn’t much nail care included- ie cuticle trimming, hand massage etc but the nails look great!

Destiny Martinez Just left lavish nails, horrible experience, I went in for a refill of powder nails and the older lady was very rude. She was upset because my mother and I wanted to sit together and did not clean my nails at all. She was rushing and put the wrong color on my nails. After telling her that the color was not matching the actual nail color I picked ,she argued with me saying the color was old and that’s why it’s looked like that. Her and another older man were requesting me to pay while my nails were being done. The lady moved my phone off my wallet without asking. Very upset with color of my nails and the service I received.

So we both ended up with a basic manicure and pedicure. We were out of there in 30 minutes (and that included nail drying time).

Daisee Castro 2nd time here with my daughter. First time was pedicures and they were not horrible but also not great. This 2nd time we went in and got a full set/acrylics. My daughters were a bit long and mine are rather short. The lady kept insisting I get gel polish for an extra $18 and I insisted on regular polish. I asked her to let me see the swatch I had originally chosen but was gel to match it closer to the polish color she argued with me until I finally said “can you give it to me or not.” Immediately she started talking to her coworkers in their language. I chose a color and asked her to keep the same French tip design (which can be done in gels or with polish, I know, I have a cosmetology license) she argued and said she couldn’t go it. I said fine paint them I’ll do it myself at home. She continued to speak in her language and it was obvious they weren’t to happy with us. My daughter asked for no design square nails so not much filing needed to be done. The lady kept insisting she file them to a a more coffin-ish shape. On top of that she only got a clear coat and the tech did the clear coat with gel polish. After my daughter paid for our $45 each, full set with $30 extra add ins. I asked what they were all for and she said $5 extra for her long nails twice so $10, $5 for her gel and $5 for shape. When i asked what the rest of the upcharges were I was told, my long nails and shape. I said mine are no where near long. She then switched to saying I had short mail beds so my nails are longer. On top of that my cuticles are all cut up from her filing. They will find any reason to upcharge anything and then talk about you when you say something. I will not be returning here with their mediocre work and bad customer service. If you’re big on customer service and respect I suggest you find some where else to go.

Summer Decker Im so sorry to write this horrible review, but I have to be honest, what a waste of money and time. I called ahead for 2 pedicures to see if they had room, and they said yes, but what they didnt tell us is that they already had 2 appointments soon after we arrived. So what should have been at least a 30-minute pedicure, was barely 20, and that included the paint drying on my toes. They were nice enough, but its also inside of a Walmart, so it just loses all the appeal of going in for a mini spa session. Spend your money somewhere for a full-on amazing experience, not over 40$ to splash some water on your feet and get your nails painted.....

Sabrina Montelongo Ben did a very nice job doing a gel fill. I thought $45 was high considering I paid $50 to get them done in California last month, but they were able to get me in right away so I went for it. I had already cut them and filed them about a week ago, myself.

Tina Claire Da-Vi nails is a great salon. I always see the best nail artist - Kelly. The head hauncho of the Salon. She delivers a killer Pink & White French Manicure. Kelly is very attentive and detailed in her work, making sure every nail is done perfectly. I love that. No rush, no sloppiness. Watching my nails go from ordinary to magnificent! Kellys been doing my nails for a long time, and I wont go to anyone else. She knows exactly how I want my nails to look. I highly recommend you see her. She does an amazing job every single time. They have a full menu of nail treatments. Ranging from French manicures, gel manicures, quick polish, pedicures and more. Im always greeted w/ a big smile, comfy seats and a big tv to watch.... everything to make your visit relaxing and comfortable. Thnx Kelly for being in my life! ~ Super Happy Tina

MAYRA GUERRA I stopped by to get a pedicure and Kim was the one who took care of me. She was amazing and did a great job. She was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable. I will definitely be coming here to get my pedicure done with her. Thank you Kim

Connie Crow Friendly staff but once they had several people waiting my pedicure became rushed and was a poor job. They went through the motions of the sugar scrub and lotion in less than a minute.

Jaycee Franke Very unimpressed. They switched workers for me 3 times. They took almost an hour to shape my nails properly, even after the hour they all came out uneven. I asked for a design and they didn’t listen and just went with a solid color. They used a nail polish that wasn’t good and I could probably find at Walmart. I will not be returning again. Please do better.

anwi voila Horrible services, didnt understand English language and were not patient enough to understand. They ended up doing something else and at an excruciating expensive price. Never going there again... couldnt even apply nail polish properly,left the spa with polish stain all over my fingers.

Racquel Bobb Miles I’ve been getting my nails done since 2010. This may be the worst place I’ve been to. The lady rushed through her work. My nails had to be fixed prior to leaving. They were lumpy. Not to mention, she didn’t properly prep before doing a fill. (This is my first fill on the previous set) She was supposed to file off the lifted edges, she just filled on top of that. This is how people get fungus on the nail. It gets worse within 2 days several were lifted. To top that off we are barely 5 days away and this is how they look. Our bill for 2 pedicures and a full set refill was $200. I got short French tips.

Alicia Ríos I paid $122.00 after tip because I try to always tip 30% on services. I loved the guy who did my pedicure although the paint job is not great. My acrylic set is not fully painted, parts are see through, super chopped up cuticles. I needed cute nails for a photoshoot for my birthday and they look awful!

Jade Pohlman Very disappointed… Went in to get some Halloween French tips and instead of listening to me when I said I needed a see-through color on the bottom she just painted them nude which was super lazy and now they look crazy. Very frustrated Im posting what I showed her I wanted. She obviously knew how to do some nail art but the laziness of painting my entire nail a harsh nude color was so disappointing. Not only that but it was $90 when I got up there!!!! And I had to tell her multiple times to clean off some of the black nail polish that had gotten on the nude part.... very frustrated definitely one star review.

Lisa H Do not come here and waste your time and money TRUST ME! The nail tech was rude and did a disgusting job on my nails they look like little claws. Such a disappointment. The staff are very loud and unprofessional. Listen to all the terrible reviews and stay away.

daily word Never in the years of me getting my nails done, have I had such a bad experience. She couldn’t do simple ombre, I had to ask her to take the crap she did off my nails. After spending 3 hrs I left with my nails not done due to laziness, refusal to listen and respect clients choices.

They rush her, the lady only did one wax strip on each eyebrow and they didn’t even do it right, they left lots of hair, she was hard on her sink and they even pulled her skin and left a scar! I’m so disappointed with that lady. And they don’t even care.

Lisa Edosa I went in to have a manicure and a pedicure , gel for both , the whole time I felt extremely rushed I ask the nail tech to please not leave such a space at my nail bed it looked very tacky I had to ask to have nail polish cleaned from skin within six days the gel was lifting . I went back in lady was extremely rude said I picked my nails, which I did not and she could tell what the problem was. I asked her to please fix , it was embarrassing the way they looked she was so mad told me I should request someone else next time I informed her that there would not be a next time and several of my friends also come here but would not. She redid my nails but was mad and very rough and totally did not want to. I can’t imagine anyone thinking this was ok I assumed she would be happy to fix her mistake ,I was very wrong. Word of mouth is either the best or the worst advertisement I’ve never been more disappointed, will never go back. I even tipped 20.00 on top of expensive price only to be treated this way when I go back in because of her mistake .

KimGem Brockington I love this salon. Every time I go the service is awesome. I want to say that Hannah is one of the best techs that I have ever had work on my nails. Customer service is above the rim and the environment is so inviting. I definitely recommend this salon to anyone whom is looking for supreme nail care. And dont forget to enjoy a free in house drink with your service and try not to fall asleep in the massage chair.

Tien Do Walk in and was denied service even though it’s 20mins before closing time. The store was not busy and staff sit around chatting and don’t want to take a pedicure.

Brenda Geary I went for the first time as I am new to Georgetown. I was so incredibly disappointed. I walked in with beautiful natural long nails that just needed shaping and polish. The tech asked me if she could cut them and I said “only a little I want to keep the length”. I walked out with my nails completely cut down to nubs. The polish job was horrible as well and hours later gooey. I ended up taking the polish off. The photo is of how easy it was to nudge back the polish 4 hours later. I am thankful my nails grow fast but I will never go back. The other issue is that the nail tech is as also very heavy handed as she clipped my cuticles on both the manicure and pedicure and I felt like she was stabbing me. I kept flinching and said not so hard please. A nightmare experience.

Lillivette Colon Should had seen reviews before I went in. I got dip powder and the same day, 8 hours later one of the nails just popped off. I had never seen something like that. I should had known it was going to happen since I’m pretty sure he used top coat for applying the powder instead of the special coat. I am from out of town and stopped there on a whim. Big big mistake. Wasted $55 that I could had used in my vacations

Brown Rosie No, do not go or try. I paid $125 for a pedicure and full set! They came out horrible! My toes nails are crooked and not shaped and my full set are bumpy and look awful! I had to have the redo them and even the second time they came out bumpy and look absolutely horrible. I thought I would try out although reviews were not good because I assumed they just may have not had anyone review so the reviews were low. The technician kept cutting me with the drill and my fingers are cut underneath my nail and around my cuticles. I just got them done yesterday afternoon and they are lifting.

Julie DuBois I will never return to French Nails. I took my 5 year old granddaughter to get a mani pedi for the first time and it was awful. I also had a gel manicure. There was only three people working, they had some walk ins so they did her nails quickly and impatiently My manicure was done quickly and sloppily. When I went to pay, she charged me $20 for Ivy’s gel manicure and $32 for her gel pedicure. I thought that very expensive considering that they only painted her nails and did not give her the full experience.Ivy is the fourth granddaughter I have taken for their first trip to the nail salon and my other three granddaughters had a much better experience at more reasonable prices. I was charged $32 for my very sloppy gel manicure. I tried to discuss it but was met with rudeness so I just paid, vowing to myself I would never go there again. A few seconds after we walked out of the salon, two ladies came out and said how disappointed they were with the service, attitude etc. The one lady had gel manicure and she was only charge $17. I feel I was greatly overcharged for terrible service.

Serena LNU Lisa is very sweet and thorough. I am very pleased with the way my nails turned out as well as the politeness. Tony even let me feed their goldfish! It’s also the small things that make us smile :)) Glad I returned!
