Marquez Burch I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the level of care and treatment my daughter and I received at the ER earlier today. My intention was to seek treatment for my severe throat pain and discomfort, despite being aware of the low 1.6-star review rating of the facility.
Upon arrival, the medical staff initially performed vital checks, which seemed to be in order. However, what followed was a series of concerning incidents. Firstly, the nurse inquired about my 17-month-old daughters walking abilities and when she had last seen a pediatrician, implying that her development was abnormal. I reassured her that her doctor had deemed her well within the normal range for her age group, which should have shifted the focus back to addressing our reason for visiting.
When I explained that my daughter had tested negative for both Covid-19 and the flu but I suspected she might have strep throat, the nurse displayed a surprising lack of knowledge. She stated that she had never heard of a child under four years old being affected by strep throat. I knew from past experience that my daughter had contracted strep throat multiple times before, so it was certainly a possibility. Despite this, the nurse only performed a strep test on me, completely ignoring my daughters condition.
The attending doctor then briefly examined my daughters throat, which appeared red. However, he failed to confirm whether it was indeed strep throat or any other specific illness. I also mentioned my history of laryngitis and the effective treatments I had previously received. Instead of discussing this further, the doctor disagreed with other physicians from reputable hospitals and abruptly left the room.
After approximately 15 minutes, the nurse returned with discharge papers and an unconfirmed diagnosis of acute respiratory infection for both myself and my daughter. When I inquired about oral lidocaine for my severe throat pain, the nurse suggested a specific cough drop and throat spray, which I had tried previously without success. Despite my explanation, she dismissed my concerns and advised me not to speak. As someone with urgent business matters to attend to, this response was highly unsatisfactory.
Given the adverse weather conditions at the time, I reluctantly chose to remain at the facility. However, I want to stress that I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this ER to anyone in need of medical assistance. The lack of knowledge, dismissive behavior, and inadequate treatment we experienced were simply unacceptable.
I hope that this review brings attention to the inadequacy of the care provided, and that appropriate measures are taken to prevent such incidents from happening again

Ashley Donahue Be careful with this ER. I know they’re small but I don’t feel like they’re equipped to handle actual emergencies. I went in at 1:00am on 2/17 after being in EXTREME stomach pain since 5:30pm on 2/16. After explaining to them that I’m not the type of person to just run to the ER for anything, that i truly felt something was wrong with me. I could lay flat, stand up straight or barely even walk. It hurt to even breathe. They did a urine test, bloodwork and a CT scan. They gave me some “pain meds” that didn’t help much. After waiting over 2 hours for results from test they said all the results looked perfect. They passed it off heartburn and sent me home with an acid reducer And told me to make an appointment with a GI dr. After 2 days of the pain becoming unbearable I went to Bryan ER and they ran the exact same test. I was rushed in surgery just a few hours later with my gallbladder about to explode. Completely inflamed and full of stones. Bryan ER said there’s no way that could have went unseen.

Jasmin Kaloa I called and the woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude, and she sounded like she really didn’t want to be there. And the first thing she said was “They are busy.”
Like, if you don’t want to be there go get a different job. It was just so disrespectful, and awful service.
