Angel Anjeanvieve I must say this is one of the best nail salon experiences Ive ever had. The service I received was absolutely wonderful, so much so that I brought my coworkers to this nail salon. Mia is awesome and willing to give you what you request and Yue is very attentive and does a great job! Its quiet and calm and the entire staff is professional and give great customer service. I will be their customer from now on.

Emily Feuer GO HERE! Just stopped by on a whim based on seeing other reviews and it’s amazing. I got a gel manicure with 4 nails with designs and it was $45. Mia did an amazing job with the manicure itself and the designs are exactly what I wanted. They use a separate packet of clippers and cuticle tools and it feels clean. Everyone was friendly and they take tips on cards.

Cindy Esser My daughter and I went in yesterday, no appt and they were so nice! Greeted us when we walked in, offered drinks and were personable. My nails turned out beautifully and will definitely be going back!

MyLife InSpanglish Highly recommend this place! A friend and I got deluxe pedicures and it was a really relaxing experience. The gentleman that did mine was attentive and didnt rush at all, plus my toes were painted so beautifully! If I could give more stars, I would. Wish I lived nearby so I could visit regularly but Ill definitely stop by during my next visit to Waco.

Jesse S Betty and Johnny are the best of the best! Johnny is an expert nail artist and Betty is a total professional with our eyebrows. I wouldn’t trust to go anywhere else! Betty always takes her time and helps keep my teenage daughters eyebrows looking absolutely perfect and FULL! She has NEVER taken off too much like most places will do. She’s so talented at making their eyebrows perfectly even. They take care of their customers so well and truly care about what you want! I’m a repeat customer for the last 5 years. They never push you to spend more than it’s worth. They’re more concerned with customer service than the money! Johnny did AMAZING on the nails my daughter wanted for spring break!

B.B They used to do a great job, but they’re just in a rush to finish as many people as they can now. The last two occasions, my nails have been crooked, bumpy, and misshapen. I’ll have to find a new salon because I’m not going to pay $55+ on sloppy work.

Evander I cannot recommend this nail salon enough, especially Nina! She is absolutely phenomenal and went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. From the moment I sat down, Nina was warm, attentive, and detail-oriented. She took the time to make sure every aspect of my nails was perfect and exactly what I wanted. Her skills are unmatched—my nails have never looked this flawless! Not only is Nina incredibly talented, but she also made the experience so relaxing and enjoyable. Gabrielle Guardiola Do NOT recommend this place! I been a few times and the first few times were great but the last too times I went they did my nails badly! I went to go get my nails done for my birthday and ended up with this! This was not even close to the picture. With two people touching my nails I expect it to look similar to the picture! And top it off won’t even give me half a refund!! I do not recommend this place!

Debra Williams At first when I was at the nail shop my nails look so beautiful under the light, but as soon as I got home and actually look and touch my nails I was very unsatisfied/not happy my nails are rough there are not smooth my nails are to thin for a full set. I felt like I was rush because of closing time, I feel like my nails was not worth $120 dollars. This has to be the worst experience I have been through.

Bre Anderson I love this salon. I have been twice and have been helped immediately both times. All of the employees are so nice and take their time and do such a good job. It’s clean and beautiful and relaxing. My favorite nail place in town, for sure!

Missi Cook Updated 2/3/2021....see pics from todays visit at the bottom! First, you cant depend on navigation to get you there because the location is brand new and hasnt been added to maps/waze etc. The salon is located in a brand new shopping center on the Hwy 84 west access road. It is just before the MISD administration building. My 22 year old daughter, 4 year old granddaughter and myself went for the first time today. I had booked appointments for us using the website, which I was prompted to do when I called the salon. The website is streamlined and intuitive to use. My daughter was getting dip with tips and a basic pedicure, my granddaughter was getting her nails polished and I was getting manicure and dip without tips. Michelle, the owner, was very sweet with my granddaughter and did a beautiful job painting her tiny little nails. A lady whose name I dont know did my daughters pedicure, and my daughter says she did a really good job. Michelles cousin, whose name I believe is Hong, did my dip and did a thorough and careful job. He really took his time and shaped them beautifully. Michelle finished the two top coats so he could move on to doing my daughters nails. We are all very happy with the services we received, and here are the photos!

Jennifer Lee 1st time at this location and I’m on the fence. The staff is super nice and the girls that did my daughter’s toes and nails did fantastic! The lady that did mine, did okay. She did cut my toe which bled and now is sore. At that point I think she was super nervous and hurried through it because they don’t look the greatest. Just hoping nothing major happens to my toe. I’m all about second chances, so I don’t Know if I will return to this location or not. Probably will stick with the Waco Dr. location.

Cheyenne McCallum This pedicure was by far the best I’ve ever had!! The technician I had was Ivy and she was the kindest woman! I feel like she went above and beyond because she really put some strength into it when massaging me! I felt like I was getting a really fancy deep massage and wasn’t expecting that at all because most places don’t apply enough pressure for me! She massaged my feet and legs like they normally do but she also massaged my hands and arms and even neck/shoulders/ back. This was worth every penny and I will 100% be coming back more often!! Perfect service!

Abigail Armstrong I have gone to Lux Nail Spa twice now and have enjoyed the services received. The first time I got a signature pedicure with gel polish and a dip powder manicure - Tai gave an excellent massage, and I will be requesting him again for pedicures. The second time, I got a deluxe pedicure with gel polish by Lyna - she was attentive and helped me decide on color by trying out a couple first, which I really appreciated! I got a gel builder full set manicure by Michelle with Thanskgiving/fall themed nail art. I think she did an excellent job and was thankful for her patience and willingness to try something new. Im looking forward to going again soon for Christmas/winter themed nails!

Crystal Sciarrino Wonderful experience! Receptionist was so kind, welcoming and informative. And Kelly was nothing short of amazing. I came with a complex design and definitely challenged her and she rose to the occasion, she even consulted team members to ensure she was doing the best approach and that colors made sense. Ive had a lot of bad manicures/acrylic full sets and Im so pleased to say that Kelly was so tender and gentle with my hands but still got the job done well and in a speedy manner. She checked in with me constantly, helped me to feel less anxious about the nail file and everything and not to mention she was absolutely a joy to chat with. Thanks so much Kelly! Your pride and joy of craft is definitely a breath of fresh air. Ill see you in a few weeks for my next appointment!

Holly UPDATE: Nancy @ Lux personally contacted me and she has been so sweet & wanting to make things right! I truly appreciate that! I was in a bind & needed eyelash extensions ASAP for an event. My normal lady wasn’t available so I thought I would give this place a try. They place me in a nice relaxing room even with a blanket. I must have been this young lady’s very first client! Once she began placing the extensions on she’s resting her hand on my forehead with a lot of her weight as she holds my eyelid open to place the eyelash, needless to say the glue is running into my eye. I ask her several times why are you cracking my eye open? So about 1/2 way through the 1st eye she for whatever reason tells me to look at them. I pulled them off & walked out the door! I’ve been getting extensions for years & not once have they had to open my eyelid to apply them. Today my eyelid is swole & still burns a little. Don’t think it’s anything of concern other than just being irritated! I love this place when it comes to nails but under no circumstance or eyelash extension emergency will I EVER return!

Libba Dudley This was one of the best nail experiences I’ve had! I had an acrylic fill-in and pedicure with Kelly, and she was amazing! Very kind, friendly, and attentive. If anything hurt or was uncomfortable, she would change her method so it was more accommodating, and I really appreciated that. Very calm, clean shop atmosphere. Great location as well. It was definitely pricey, but I’ve had a hard time finding affordable nail salons for a while… so I don’t think that’s an issue just for this shop. They were atleast very transparent with their prices and handed me a menu when I sat down with all the services and prices listed so I can review them before choosing. All in all, would definitely go back!

Elizabeth Serrano I had a NIGHTMARE experience at a salon in Clifton TX (2 photos of before). I googled Nail Creations and found photos of Ariel’s work, so I specifically asked for her and if she could help me. My fingers are sore as hell but she grinded down, built them back up and fixed them and made them sooooo pretty again. I will follow her wherever she goes!

April Corpman I usually go to Killeen to get my nails done but decided to go to Nail Creations. The front desk guy was rude and yelling at people because they put people in the wrong chair. I asked for a fill ,gel polish and shortening. She gave what I asked for but trimmed one hand shorter than the other and charged me the same price my old place charges for specialty nails. I didn’t get anything special. It was a very big bummer. I would have said something but I was afraid she would have gotten yelled at. I wasn’t familiar with there place.

Erika Torres First time visiting nail creations on valentines 2/14. Super sweet staff and super efficient. Had the best nail tech of them all Ariel. She did an absolute amazing job. i love my nails and my toes because of her. Most definitely recommend coming and asking for ariel shes the sweetest , kindest and funniest person ever. Things ajr and Taylor Swift Very good service! Kind people and ours nails look awesome!! Plus we came in as walk-ins and they got to us immediately. As someone who knows I have crooked nails my guy did an amazing job by not making it look crooked. He was also very kind and made some jokes and most of the staffs english was excellent/enough to understand. When me and my sister were checking out the lady who helped us pay was so patient and so appreciative it was quite adorable. As a person who doesn’t like going and getting my nails done because someone always cut my skin this place was perfect about being careful yet speedy. I will 110% be returning when I need my nails done again. I absolutely love it this place and their service!!!

Upon meeting her, she greeted me with a pleasant smile, and immediately took the interest to listen to my request. I got a refill and a pedicure and she did a wonderful job. Sindhuja Dasari I am so disappointed with this salon. Three weeks ago I came in for Acrylic French Tips with gel that was ok. I went in today for an acrylic removal which was $10. She started by cutting the lengths of my nails. Then she used acrylic tips to wedge, chip, and pry the acrylics off my nails. When I asked if she would soak my nails in acetone she told me that the acrylic was too thick when she applied the acrylic in the first place. The process was extremely painful and I can’t believe I paid money for it! Afterwards, even the shaping wasn’t done right! All in all a horrible experience!

Betsy Fanning I took my Dad to B&J Nails for a pedicure. We were greeted warmly as one of the owners took him straight to the pedicure chair. He was allowed to select the package of service he wanted and the co-owner began working immediately. She took her time and gave Dad the best pedicure he has ever had at any salon. She was gentle as she trimmed his nails and treated his feet, He then received a soothing, relaxing leg & foot massage. I highly recommend this salon. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. It is owned and operated by a friendly and caring professional husband/wife team. They take their time with the clients and pride in their work. This was our first visit and we will be coming back. Gabryelle Koeroghlian I’m a big pedicure/manicure person but since moving to Waco from Austin I haven’t been able to find a new salon that I loved. Well, that is until I found B&J nails! Run by a husband and wife duo, they are incredibly kind, gentle, efficient, and talented! The environment is comfortable and quiet. It is true that they prefer appointments since it’s just them two who work in the salon, but that shouldn’t deter you! I can’t state enough how perfect my pedicure was (as someone with VERY sensitive feet, it was perfectly gentle and attentive) and they made sure the job was FULLY done before I left - no wet polish duck walking needed!

Christie Harris Very disappointed in my services here. I got the gel manicure and the 80 minute pedicure and for the amount of money that was paid , you would think at least the polish job would be decent.

Jessica J I’ve gone here quite a few times without issues for fill in and pedicures. However, when there was an issue, nobody helped rectify the issue which is extremely disappointing and because of that I will not be returning. I had two nails lifting and they were fixed, but not 100% and were getting worse and my nail underneath starting breaking so I called and asked if they could repair those two nails before I left for vacation. I got there showed the two nails and she said ok and questioned why I was choosing the same color. I should have saw that as a red flag. She did a complete fill in and was arguing with me that I needed a fill in. I wasn’t ready for a fill in, yes I know they grew out but my nails last 4 weeks and I just paid for a fill in. I made it very clear when I scheduled the appointment and when I walked in I just wanted my two nails fixed. I guess I should have just got up and left. I didn’t really know what to expect. I reached out to the salon and they didn’t offer any solutions to resolve the issue. As a business owner you should have offered to fix those two nails or some kind of credit.

Maritza Arroyo Paid for a pedicure #2 which it’s for an hour. The tech did it so fast she did it in 40 minutes. Didn’t get my money’s worth. I complained in the front desk. They didn’t care. Not coming back.

Lamma Bunzz This was such a nice and comfortable experience. Jennifer was so gentle and soothing, she really went in depth with the massaging and I couldnt have been more comfortable. I almost fell asleep 5 different times haha, it was pretty cheap for everything I got. I purchased the pedicure organic pomegranate package with gel too. Lasted about a whole hour so it was definitely worth every penny!! My mom also got a manicure, I kid you not her hands looked way brighter and also smooth. 10/10

Ariel I’ve been going here for years but stop. Since coming back (2 months) I’m just in love! I’m served margaritas and a beautiful mani and pedi! I go to Sterling every time and he gets me right! He’s very sweet and does a great job. I’m SUPER particular with my nails and he is the best I’ve had. Thank you Sterling!!!

Haven Wyles AVOID. DONT GO. STAY AWAY. AVOID AT ALL COST. Worst experience I have ever had in my life. Left with the worst nails I have ever gotten and my hands cut up and bleeding. They told me they would re do them and they still turned out HORRIBLE. told me at the be just oh so generous to take a WHOLE $10 OFF! WOW so nice of them. store owner then proceeded to yell at me and my friend while we were trying to ask a question and wouldn’t let us speak. very hostile owner who called the cops on us who proceeded to tell me they are here often because of the owner. I wanted to just get them off and leave but he told me I would still have to pay. Who in their right mind would charge for a horrible customer service, horrible nails, and the removal of them. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Rachel Ruiz I’m so confused by all of the positive reviews. That’s what led me there. Terrible experience. My pedicure was rushed, my polish was clumped, so clumped that it was sharp. My dip chipped two hours later. They look scratched. They just look terrible. Don’t go here.

Tye & Johnnie My nails looked okay but didn’t last long. They also charged me for SHAPING my nails which they didn’t tell me about until I checked out. I paid and tipped. I got dip done on 9/21 and the top coat they used started peeling on 9/23. I couldn’t come in until that Friday 9/27 and I was told that it would be $30 just to have the topcoat redone.

Easy to find too. Its clean and welcoming! Ive had manicures in New York, Orlando and this is my favorite place in Waco,TX hands down!

Hannah Lee Nails are great, but she didn’t put a second coat of white so it’s streaky. Don’t realize she wasn’t going to put another coat of white on until she had already put on the top coat

Briana Jones Update: I was able to go back today and Chloe fixed my nails for me and did amazing! The picture on the left is what I asked for and the other one is what I left with. I told them I needed a basic white French tip with glitter clear coat. Brian did my nails they are super thick and not at all what I asked for. He charged me $70 for something that I did not want. I told him I was on my break and he told me I should have said something from the beginning and someone else would have done my nails. When I go to get a French tip it usually does not take longer than 45 minutes and I always go on my break

Megan Had a great experience. The staff are always extremely kind and hospitable. My nails chipped but they have a 14 day warranty so I plan on going back!

Mallory MacCollister The WORST experience ever. Will never go back. Got busy towards the end and everything felt rushed. My sister got a mani/pedi. The manicure is terrible. Left her in the manicure chair to start a pedicure. By the time we walked out her nails were uneven and THE PAINT WAS ALREADY CHIPPED. LITERALLY WHILE WALKING OUT OF THE DOOR. No top coat on the nails– that or they use terrible products. I got a pedicure and they did not scrub the dead skin off my heels. Isn’t that the whole reason for a pedicure??

Andrea Powell They did an excellent job. I was pleased with the color and shape of my nails. The young woman who did my nails also did a great job. The salon was pretty clean and well managed. I do have a crack in on of nails that they painted over but I was told they have 14 dya warranty if it voke. So we will see if they honor it.

Catherine Tillinghast, LPC Julia made my day! I was going out of town and my usual nail girl cancelled on me last minute. I came into Skyline and the girls helped me right away and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I appreciate them so much. Julia was meticulous with my nails, her technical skill is amazing and she accommodated all of my weird requests. The end result is beautiful, pictures do not do these nails justice. Jana Dvorsky I’ve gone to Skyline for years but today I wish I had gone somewhere else. I asked for a manicure with dip and after I got my current dip soaked off, I asked for manicure/cuticle cleanup and she told me she didn’t have time. She had a client coming soon. She half cleaned up my cuticles with a tool later, but should’ve just left when she said she didn’t have time. I asked for them to be short and round, she said she had already clipped them and she’d just file now. I could tell she was in a rush and hurrying because her other client was waiting but they could’ve told me they didn’t have time to do it then. My nails are uneven lengths and shape, I’ll be going to get them fixed at another salon. I love their pedicures but they lost me as a nail client.

Briana Molina Nice and quiet on Monday evening and got a very nice gradient done in an hour! Nice and even and a very fair price. Will be returning! EDIT 1 week later: Have to remove some stars as my nails are all off just a week later. I usually have acrylic powder last about 2-3 weeks when I have it done and I had one pop off after three days. Was able to glue it back on with nail glue but all were lifting today and ended up coming off. They were still beautifully done and I got what I paid for, just upset they didnt last.

Angela Ekpa Edit: its been one week and I have several chips in my dip, bulky edges and its starting to pull up. My nails are already getting caught in my hair. This is the most Ive ever spent on a set and am extremely disappointed in the quality. I live in Fort Worth so I wont be coming for them to fix it. A little pricey but worth it! We came in on a Sunday with a large group. They were very accommodating and still took care of us in a timely manner, even though we were walk-ins with our kids!

Amanda Anderson I hate to leave a negative review but I am just shocked and upset about spending $127 on my nails and it’s been nothing but trouble. First I want to say the man who did my nails, was very nice. No complaints there! However 3 of my nails were chipped after 2 days. Usually I would just blow it off but I was really bothered as I was standing up in a wedding that weekend and wanted them to look nice. I called and they were accommodating telling me to come back in and they will fix it. I came back in and they had a chair ready to go for me. Very polite about fixing them. However..2 days later, the day of the wedding, I had multiple nails chipped again. Now it has been a week and my nails are literally coming off. My hair is stuck in them and they look down right awful. My big toe is also chipped. Nice people, but the work or product is not so great. Super sad experience all around because now I paid $127 for ugly nails that were already fixed once before.

Stacey Allen This place is honestly hit or miss. Three weeks ago I had a full set of acrylics done and the were really good. Lasted really well and I work in water and on keyboards quite often throughout the day. Today,... I need a fill while I waited for my tire to be fixed. The elder gentleman that works there completed my appointment and throughout the process, I felt that something was off. I requested that they be trimmed SLIGHTLY and he nearly cut them completely off. I asked that they remain square and they are varying shapes from nearly coffin to round on one side and LORD KNOWS on the other. Parts of my nail have not been filled The clear gel polish is all over my actual finger and the texture is extremely bumpy. I paid while my nails were drying and when they told me the price, it was $50. Three weeks ago I paid $55 for a full set of acrylics, mid length, with gel polish. Today, I got a fill for acrylic with gel polish (board says $25) and trimmed down (board says $5.) When I questioned the price, they started listing several things. When I called them after claiming my care to let them know that they do not look good at all, the woman said "Come back and I will fix them for you and make them look better." I told her that I would just like a refund because I am going to have to go somewhere else and have them completely remove them and redone. She said that she wants to fix them, but there is no hope. Theyre ruined. I guess what Im saying is be weary of who you allow to do your nails here. (Ive included photos of what I went in with and what I left with)

Aleah Keith This is outrageous. I have been going here for the past six months. I get the exact same color every time. BRIGHT white that glows purple. This time, they said they couldn’t find it. They said they had another color just like it so they put it on and halfway through my appointment, you could tell that there are two different colors. You could even see the first coat I had UNDER it. He thought that was acceptable. I told him I wasn’t happy with it, so he then proceeded to make the coat thicker. And at the end of it, he put the top coat on, and I saw how it glowed BRIGHT green. He also said I will not be able to see the old color under it. In the last picture you can see the purple of the previous color. Finally, let’s talk about the color itself. The “cream” or “off white” look horrible SINCE I ASKED FOR WHITE. Had high hopes for this place, will not be coming back.

The young lady didnt even lotion or massage my hands, but the worst was that I was charged an additional $15 just for removing the previous color off my nails. Is that not part of the manicure?! Oh and another dollar for using a credit card. Thats wild. Perhaps you should tell people to take off their own polish instead of taxing $15 for it. Ridiculous!

Lindsay Turnbough Nails turned out beautiful! My only complaint is that between the two people who had touched my hands to get them started and finished both made me bleed. Then by the time my nails were done I left with EIGHT out of my ten fingers bleeding and with burns from the tool they use. I love the way they do nails but I wish they would be more careful with that tool. I’m having to put meds on all my fingers they hurt so bad.

I was able to bring in my stroller and everything. Had a nice time. Even tipped the person $20. And I now noticed within this past week I have mold underneath my nail bed on my big toe! I never write bad reviews. It is rare! But I am not happy about this! They need to sterilize and clean their items correctly! I do not recommend based off of my late experience.

My husband usually comes too and its always nice because they all treat him so kindly and let him sit with me in the pedicure chairs next to mine and relax with a drink while I get my manicure. Jashyre Harris-Arceneaux Today was my second visit to Posh. The first visit was last month, I booked an appointment to bring in my daughter’s friends for the kid package. The kids room is beautiful, and the staff that day working on the girls were nice. The man that offers refreshments is so kind. However, the man at the front desk (bald older guy) has not been as friendly during both visits. He seems as though he does not enjoy his job and it shows. Today, I went and got a pedicure by Danny. Danny rushed my pedicure and my toes look a mess. I am dissatisfied with this service and I won’t be returning. Really sad because my kids love the kids package/room. The two (a woman and a young male with glasses, I don’t remember their names) that worked on my kids today were great. Update: After sharing my experience with the shop, I was offered a chance to come in to fix my toes. I went and was serviced by someone else (didn’t catch her name) that did a great job. The front desk girl (didn’t catch her name, but she was young with curly hair) was kind and professional. She gave me a $20 gift card to return for a future visit. Personally, I won’t be returning; but I’m grateful for the time and effort to improve my experience.

My daughter came into this salon with a family member and got her nails painted. After a few days what seems to be a fungal infection appeared on her finger nails. Christian Stuart Ive been having issues with 2 other places so far as the nails quickly lifted, I was recommended this place, specifically Kim, and she was amazing! Sweet and got my nails done super quickly!!! She told me if I am having any issues with the nails to come back any time and it will be no charge to fix them. Excited to see how long these last or if theyll be good for another 2 or 3 weeks at least!!!

jessamine had my nails done as a walk in by Jon he was very polite and I enjoyed conversation, I appreciate his time and effort in trying to accommodate the nails I wanted however I was not pleased very well on the work as I found the correct technique on applying flowers to nails, I was also told it cost more to add flowers even if I brought my own. You can get them online for like a dollar, as a business woman sometimes you have to lose a little to gain customers. I know you have to make a profit also due to the labor for the work but just a thought. I payed 70$ plus a tip with cash and card it was a little high for the way these were done. Im disappointed I also work hard for my money. I can see all the nail debris and dust on inside of clear arcrylics as while the nails where being done they were not being cleaned :( but I will give this place another chance hopefully for a better outcome.

KARINA REYNOSO I recently had my nails done at this salon and I went back to have them file down a little shorter, and this is was I walked out with. Lynn, who did my nails obviously did not care about her work as it took her maybe 5 mins to do. The length is what I wanted however she did not care enough about her work to shape the nails. Now this is not the first time I go in here and have had a bad experience. I had actually not been in about a year for the same reason their staff there have horrible customer service skills. They take their customers for granted and it shows. I think the reason they are so popular is their location not necessarily their service. On top of the fact that they do a horrible job (there is maybe 1 or 2 people in there who actually do a good job) they are rude, and they don’t like for you to tell them exactly what you want. 0 of 10 do not recommend.

Jennifer W. Ryan was amazing. He removed the color from my toes and repainted them and then moved me right into his chair to get my nails done. I was trying to read on my kindle and he offered me his phone stand to use so he could do my nails and I could read. He made sure that I liked the length and shape of my nail before he moved onto the rest of my nails. He offered if I wanted anything to drink before he got started with the service. This was my first visit and the first time I ever did Cats Eye polish and I love it. He made sure to show me the design and then finished my nails. It was an amazing experience and I cant wait to go back. Very well done ZiZi Nails!

Unswella Ankton I had the absolute worst experience here today. I arrived at 10:15am for a soak off and a red French full set. This should have taken a maximum of 2 hours. Not only did I walk out with misshaped, off colored, poorly filed nails, but I was charged $105 and I didn’t walk out until 1:45pm! I sat for 45 minutes before THE HOST began soaking my nails off. I have no idea if he’s a manicurist or not but he was very kind and apologetic. Never once during this wait time, where there wasn’t that many people present, did a manager come address me. The host had to start and stop my soak off/drilling process as more customers arrived. I also watched the two customers ahead of me come and go before my soak off was completed. I sat for another 30 minutes or so before I asked the host to just wrap up the soak off and I was going to leave. He said “oh my manager said it’ll be only 10-15 more minutes to get you started.” I said ok, 20 minutes or so go by before Lynn gets started. She sweet and kind but I’m over it. Before my she starts my set, she brings me a bill for $105 and I say audibly “are you serious?” Im disgusted at the lack of customer service they have shown here. I’m showing my nails here. This should be free with how terrible they look. They look nothing like the photo I showed. They’re bubbly, misshapen (which I had to pay extra for the “length and shape”) and you can’t even see the chrome. This was a complete joke. When I was paying, and even after I tipped just to be kind, I asked to speak to the manager. The host said oh she’s over there but she’s busy. The audacity is unreal. The first photo is what I asked for. The second one is what I got.

Paige Barfield Summer is a miracle worker!! I got a full acrylic set done at a different salon and it turned out so horribly. I went to Zizi to hopefully get them fixed, but I honestly was afraid I would have to soak them off and start over. Rather than push me to get a whole new set, which would have been more expensive, she said she would try to fix them. She did better than just fix them, she made them perfect! She was so quick and efficient but did not lack any attention to detail. First 2 pictures are the before, and last 2 are after Summer worked her magic. So happy with my nails!

michelle cooper This is probably the worst pedicure I’ve ever had in my life. After asking for the 5-6 times for my big toe to be filed down I gave up. Being burnt with the hot stone didn’t help! I didn’t think it could get any worse, but the fact that my toes look like a child painted them adds insult to injury. Having to ask for the nails on both feet to be the same length seemed off as well! Definitely NOT worth $67.00 or the tip I left. I tip because it’s hard for everyone especially in the service industry, but I honestly did have to think twice! I see why they have a 3.9 out of 5!

Laramie Abraham Went to nails 2000 today for the first time. The place is very pretty and clean from what I can tell. The staff was friendly enough, right at opening time offered drinks and happy smiles. My complaint is the services provided. The lady was pretty rough with the cuticle trim, it was pretty painful and Im not sensitive. She didnt take the time to scrub the traditional tough skin (mine arent bad but needed atleast some attention) and the worst part is she didnt paint my big toe nail all the way to up the cuticle, left a big gap at the top. Looks like growth already. Waste of $50 on a pedi that i could have done better at home. The paint on my pinky toe already completely popped off in one piece. Wont be going back.

She didn’t let dry fully before doing more layers so once I left they one of my nails fully started peeling off. And when doing the top coat didn’t make sure the black was dry so I have black smudges all over my nails

Susan Stanley My sister was sat in a chair and was ignores for an hour. The nails are beautiful but the tech really did a number on my cuticles. I dont know if its the norm to use the filing drill on your cuticles, but rest assured my cuticles have been hurting all day!!!! Will never go back again.

Traci Fischer I regularly get my nails done at City Nails and they usually dont chip. The only reason I HAVE to go back is because I end up with growth showing. These nail techs are amazing and they use ultra fine products. Ive tried a couple of other salons and one of those manicures lasted for 2 weeks to the day before starting to chip. The other salon I have chosen not to go back to for a couple of reasons. The manicure lasted satisfactorily, but their location is not feasible and I felt there were a few other issues that were questionable.

K S Sadly they do not care about the finished product or take pride in their work. I received dipped fingernails and a polish change on my toes. The nail technician was distracted with trying to serve too many people. People kept arriving and there were only 3 techs working. People were waiting in pedicure chairs, manicure chairs etc. My fingernails are the worst I have ever had as it has only been a week and they are needing done again. They are lifting and getting caught in my hair. My toe polish was not allowed to dry and bubbled up. The whole experience was rushed and lacking. When I paid they tried to keep $20 as a tip. I do not recommend wasting your money here.

Tiffany Brooks Dan actually does things the right way by using powder for the color instead of just painting on the French tips like others do, and it makes such a difference! My nails turned out exactly how I want them, they look natural and they will last so much longer. Dan is the only one that knows how to do this, so its best to call ahead and make an appointment with him. Highly recommend!!!!!

Theresa McHargue T always does my nails with extra care. He always tries to go above and beyond cause he doesnt want to put out a bad product and if anything goes wrong hell make it right !¡! Ive gone here off and on throughout the years when i decide to have my nails done professionally and i pick T everytime !!!!!! If you watch him closely u can c how his skills kick in & it becomes like ART & thats more than just a job or a ##number !!!!!

Lamejah D The pedicure was good. He paid close attention to detail from what I can tell but I am still sitting in the chair waiting for my feet to dry. When I walked in I was skeptical. I asked him to put on new gloves because the ones he had on was discolored and had a hole. He would not do it. As someone who knows better, I should have left. The only reason I stayed was because I was given a nonrefundable gift certificate.

Janette Im sorry but I dont know where the good reviews come from. I dont want to be mean but this is honesty... how this place has been able to remain open is beyond me. It is absolutely filthy. The tools along with everything in it look 100 years old. This is a staph infection just waiting to happen. Do yourself a favor and go else where! Ive never been so grossed out by a public place before.

Drea Walker TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I went in today to get a full set of nails. The man applied all my tips on crooked. When I politely informed him that they were uneven and crooked he got very defensive and had a bad attitude. He did not want to hear what I had to say regarding MY nails. He told me they were fine and he would fix it later. I explained to him that if the nails were uneven and crooked now that can’t be repaired later in the process it has to be straight from the beginning. He was rude and provided terrible customer service. I told him that I would just go somewhere else and that really made him upset! He started raising his voice and talking crazy. I told him despite his personal feelings, I am a paying customer and he should treat customers with my respect. That was a huge waste of my time and I will NEVER go back nor refer anyone! DO NOT GO!

Lauren Flurry I just went in to have dip powder removed. I didnt have it redone or anything. I was there for a little over an hour, of which 15 minutes was wait time (it was a walk-in). The nail tech did three passes of polish remover and filing to remove the dip, followed by buffing. The buff didnt make my nails very shiny because of gouges left by uneven filing. I still have dip left on two nails, and two other nails split within an hour from being filed too thin on the edge. Overall, it was fine. They got me in quickly and removed enough of the dip powder that the grown-out part isnt noticeable anymore, which is what i really needed. However, if I was going to have my nails done for an important event, I would probably just go somewhere else.

Ally Aguilera I have been going here since I was in high school 15 years ago and have never had such a horrible experience like this time. I got my nails and my daughter nails done. I ask for something very simple, when we started everything was going good but then of course like always the first person never finishes what they started, she had someone else step in the do my gel polish because she wanted to take care of a regular and the new lady completely messed them. 3 of my nails aren’t even shiny like they are supposed to be and I was supposed to have gold glitter and some of its green because she kept going back over and over again not listening to what I was saying. After a hour of leaving my nails were scuffed up I went back to get the clearcoat fixed and within 30 minutes of being gone I have three nails that are not even shiny. Absolutely ridiculous

Joan Carlile They do a fantastic pedicure every time. They have gone the extra mile to insure safety by hanging plexiglass partitions, sterilizing all of the tools, using disposable plastic tub liners and they even have a plastic cover on the massage remotel. They are friendly and the prices are competitive.

Y Calhoun I frequent a place in West Waco but I was in the area so I stopped in. It was a good experience, the gentle man took his time & was meticulous on my pedicure. Id definitely go back. My heels were refreshed

Crystal Allman The price was cheap so was the work. The lady 4 chairs from me was on her phone the whole time cussing up a storm. I politely asked if they could have her be quiet. I will go elsewhere for and pay extra. Just because it is belmeid doesnt mean it should be what is expected. People should not be able to be on phone calls. I didnt enjoy my experience except my foot massage. I wont be coming back. No spa music and no drinks. If I could rate a 0 star I would.

Cynthia Dunlap Arrived early on a Friday morning. Not busy, seated immediately. Nice lady. Toenails were not cut evenly. The polish must have been old. Two toes polish completely smeared off 2 hrs later. 3 hrs later, big toe polish is still wet and is clumping. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

Camarra B. Today I decided to come to happy nails after work because it was nearby and I wanted to relax. I came in expecting good, but did not receive good. The nail artists however are nice and gentle, and I didnt have a wait. I chose the color I wanted which was a white with a blue glitter on top, but when my nails got finished it looked nothing like the color I chose. The pedicure didnt feel that good. No pressure (for the massage) or passion was applied. I actually didnt get a full pedicure treatment, just a cut, file, small massage, lotion and warm towel. The funny thing is, my feet still hurt from before I came. I thought going there would make it better. I was literally only in the chair for 10-15 minutes. It was not worth the price. Save yourself the time & money and go somewhere more upscale.

ina darley Went to this location because it was close to where I was and when I walked in someone said hello but never asked me what I needed. Which is interesting because another girl walked in waaayyyy after me and she was greeted very nicely and was asked what she needed. So I sit there for 5 minutes before I took matters into my own hands and asked if there was a list that I needed to put my name on. I was told no. Then sat there for another 5 minutes and took matters into my own hands AGAIN and ask a nail tech if someone was able to do the design I wanted (I showed a picture). She just pointed to a lady and told me to ask her. I walked over to asked the lady and she was just like “yeah” and went back to working. I was kind of just left standing there. I then sat down and used their good WiFi to find another nail shop. I do highly recommend this place if you are looking for lackluster customer service on a random Wednesday afternoon.

April Horton First time going here. They were nice and did a good job. Only 4 stars cuz the wait was so long. Started with one person and ended up with another person. Overall very happy and will go back.

Ken Tucker Gave my wife a gift card for manicure and pedicure. She has used them before and was pleased, but this time nails were not completely done and two days later the polish started peeling. The manicurist was not very professional. Will most likely not return

Karen Keltner It was really nice! We were treated very well. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. And my feet look and feel great! And the best part was the little puppy that stole my heart.. I want one!!

Victoria Hardy I got a set of Gel Acrylics and Im amazed. They were so nice and funny, super cute set. I definitely recommend! Were sensitive with my hands and were well taken care of.

Emma Grace Carpenter This is what my nails look like one day after getting them done. I only did paint and it was $10.00. she didnt cut my cuticles which I was a little disappointed about, but I guess I should have asked. Im noticing a few bubbles from the top coat that werent there at first but I feel like she did okay. My friend got acrylics and they turned out really good and she paid $42.00.

Lacey Fae Nail Bar is my absolute favorite nail salon for manicures and pedicures in Waco. I was able to provide a picture of the manicure I wanted and got exactly that. Tina, the owner, has a great energy and is super friendly and professional. She is up on all the trends and has a ton of talent. I highly recommend Nail Bar for the next time a manicure and/or pedicure is needed, and maybe wants a drink as well.

Ash Nasen What I asked for versus what I got. Considering I got acrylics it’s not so bad but it’s not perfect. Nail techs were super sweet and tried to be as accommodating as possible. Getting designs is always risky. Next time I’ll just get a solid or a French mani. Manicure was $75, pedicure was $50.

Hannah McCabe Well I saw all the amazing reviews and figured I’d go get my nails done for my birthday, I asked for a simple French nail with the white tip. After looking closely when she was done and I walked out, I noticed the shape of my nails were not correct at all, and were almost dented/botched in the middle and they already started to chip off in the corners throughout the day. $65 for this was not worth it. So disappointed

Lola Delphineae This (2nd photo)was not the original style I came in there with but after being talked down I decided on this style and showed them the picture. After being told they could only do one solid color , they decided to charge me $85 for the full set. Look. At. This. Mess. I chose the length and decided not to put the bunny on there because they said they couldn’t do that either, But it looks SOOO sloppy. Also me and my sister tried their mimosas. My sister asked for a second one and they gave her straight orange juice without telling her. Like wow This was my first time going there and will be my last.

DeeAnn Tiner-Watkins I have been going here for years. I tried several other salons closer to my home; however, I discovered it was better to make the drive no matter how far. They are warm, friendly, courteous, always doing above and beyond for their clients.

J Lopez Jon sat me down and attempted to begin without changing the towel from his last client. The towel from her manicure which had her dead skin and nail shadings. After asking him to change it, he got up without a word. I should have left then. I asked to have my acrylics removed and for a mani with clear polish. He was visibly annoyed and huffing and puffing that nail debris was flying onto his clothes. He trimmed and filled my nails with the speed of lighting and they are all jagged and uneven. Didn’t even oil my hands. First and last time coming here.

Renee Blasier Horrible experience- the male owner gave me a manicure- worst manicure I ever had. He cut my cuticles and they bled for a good 10 minutes but he expected me to continue sitting there so he can finish . No one was in there - so why was he sooooo rushed I had to ask for a hand message- he was terrible with this also. The place is DIRTY too….. hopefully they sanitize there equipment- not sure on this also.
