Krickett Grimes Really love this place! I got dipped nails here and they lasted forever! This is huge for me because I am hard on my hands, as a mom and a nurse, and the paint stayed perfect for so many weeks, which is never the case for me. Not only did these guys do high quality work but they are also so nice!!! And no pressure to update stuff we didn’t want! So perfect! My daughter got short extensions with dipped and they look so good!

J L My first time here. The owner did my nails. She was so rough with her filing. SHE ACTUALLY CUT MY CUTICLE AND I BLED!! It took a bit for it to stop. Its been 24 hours since, and my thumb is trobbing. She apologized but it was ridiculous service. Youd think she would have knocked a little off the price. Never going back.

Nina Ramon Went and got my nails done for a family Christmas party we were attending. Within 3 days I called because 2 of nails had already broke completely off only to be told they weren’t open because some stuff with the landlord and didn’t know when the issue would be resolved. I then go somewhere else to have them fixed and we head out of town. While gone, and before the party, I had another 3 nails brake on the opposite hand from the other 2. Normally when I get my nails done I’m there for at least an hr to hr and a half and with Lucky nails I was in and out within 30mins. Not happy and never going back to this place or recommending to anyone. This was at the Moore plaza location.

Mi Mi Owner doesnt sanitize anything...doesnt enforce mask rules they post on the door....rude af! Kayal was sweet...and did great work but the man was rude af! He said they didnt have time to do my fingernails...but was seen laying down texting on a cot! I will NEVER go back...

Being in customer service myself, I know what a customer wants. Today I believe my manicurist was Mason. Did a wonderful job and I love my nails. I went with an ombré look and he did great! Brittaney Garcia Oasis is great! They always accommodate my grandmother, sister, and I! They have a menu full of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks to choose from and they are not skimpy at all! The nail techs really know what they’re doing and make you feel like family! They are not pushy and don’t try to constantly up sell you! Bill is great! Ask for him!

April Linan This place is very underrated i feel, i went for my first time today and when i left i was SO relaxed.. when i walked in it was very quiet and the receptionist welcomed me in and offered me a beverage i got the iced coffee (it was actually very good). the pedicure room is very different from other salons in corpus, its very dim (there’s a light over your feet) the chairs were SO comfortable i felt like i melted in! & they also gave me a warmed up neck pillow as well! :) i got the luxury escapes pedicure from danny and it was worth every dollar! they’ve definitely gained a new client! 10/10

Dar Osberg I love this place’s ambiance, the quality of work and service is wonderful. However, since they first opened, it used to be nice and quiet and relaxing, now there’s usually kids wining while mom gets her pedicure or climbing around in the chairs which I don’t appreciate. I know sometimes you have to have your kids with you but I’d gladly pay more to have an adult only experience. With that being said. I will definitely keep coming here because the staff are wonderful and the quality of service is stellar.

Hannah beck This is my new favorite place!!! It was such a nice experience and they were fast and very gentle which is something I’m picky about when getting manicures. The coffee was really good and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely will keep coming here.

Radlil Nguyen This is my 3rd time getting Gel X by Nisa and I have to say they never disappoint. My nails always come out exactly the way I wanted them to and lasted a whole month. The appointment system they have make it convenient and stress-free to have my nails done and pamper myself. The relaxing music, the dim light pedicure room, and the steady flow of the salon give me such a cozy and zen vibe that I can’t find anywhere else in town. For drinks, I recommend the Iced Vietnamese Coffee and Iced Matcha. Overall, 10/10 recommend, like LITERALLY.

Lexie M. Went in December 20th a bit later in the evening, around 6:30 or so. My friend and I were quickly and I mean QUICKLY rushed to pick out our nail color by an older woman. We were instructed to sit on opposite sides of the room with my friends back to me. I would have preferred to sit with my friends to get our nails done together but I do understand if it’s a matter of their personal stations. Nevertheless, I was picking my shellac color off the little slides they have. They basically picked my color for me after looking for a few minutes, overhearing me say turquoise and then her son just placing 2 color options to choose from. I proceeded with the nails anyway as I felt as I was being rushed, even though their closing time was 8 o clock. The color itself wasn’t that bad even though it’s not at all what I hoped for but the nails themselves were horrible. Bubbles underneath, the polish didn’t even reach the bottoms of my nails toward the cuticle nor toward the side of the nail. Huge gaps of empty nail. Not to mention she hardly cut and cleaned up my cuticles or nails before paining. My nails began peeling and chipping within a day. My friend’s nail tech was amazing. She is a young woman, trying to be a traveling nurse: She talked to her throughout, gave her a great set of nails, and took her time. We both only got shellac polish and when my nails were done, I walked over to my friend’s surprise at how fast I was done. I’m not sure I’ll ever be back but if I do, I hope to get the artist my friend got!

Keren Garza I am honestly very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service. I am very picky but I can work around some things but this was unacceptable. I did an overlay on my nails which I think they were long enough to do it, but I believe that if the guy couldn’t do it they should have told me they couldn’t do an overlay to do SNS. Within the same day and maybe 2 hours later my nail completely popped off my nail. He tried to fix the all product all over my cuticle but you can see that it was cut and not filled properly. I am not returning back.

Alexis Lyle not at all what i wanted! my nails are already lifting and i just got them done wednesday. she was so rough with my nails. they are way to over dipped. i paid 85 dollars for this set! i am not happy!!

Close to 200 dollars later I left with polish all over my cuticles with my nails set with debris from towels and nail drill dust. Hate leaving bad review but for what I paid i should have been satisfied

Geneva Hobbs The first time visiting Classy Nails, we were impressed with the decorations of the salon. All products were in sterilized packaging. Area super clean and relaxing environment. Karen Gonzalez I usually have good a good experience here with quality work. This time, not so much. I got a gelx pedicure and the polish in 3of my toenails came out in less than 3 days. Also the man who was doing my nails burned my toe with their machine. Didnt apologize or anything eventhough he saw that he hurt me. He just kept on spraying alcohol on my toe. Thats never happened before. Im not confrontational so I didnt call them to get the issues resolved. Based on other reviews, if you do call, they give you issues and give you the mean look. Due to this Im afraid to ask them to fix them. I Normally spend over 200 dollars per visit since I always bring someone with me. After this experience, I dont think I will recommend them again. *edit* After I posted this. They gave me a call and offered to fix my nails, but unfortunately, I couldnt go back.

Stephanie Powers To say I love this place is an understatement, my daughter and I have been coming to this amazing place for well over 10 years or so and even after we moved over 40 minutes away I still return to have my full sets and pedicures along with brow wax here at Perfect Nails! Kathy, Kim, Belle, Amanda and everyone else have always been so beautiful and amazing with what they do for us. Besides being the most wonderful women they are just perfect as they are. Audra Munguia I was in a hurry & this happened to be the place next to my home so I ended up going & getting a French tip & although the guy didn’t know I was kinda in a rush, he was done in a timely manner & even sang a little bit, which was soothing to me, while he did my nails. Mostly because he didn’t have bad vocals at all & I was ready for a nap . Only thing I disliked was that the AC wasn’t on when I went in, but after 2 other customers went in after me, they turned it on & then put a movie on. It’s been 2 weeks tho & ALL my nails are STILL on & I be busting down in the kitchen w cooking & cleaning & has expected to lose at least one by now. It’s already time to redo them actually. I recommend this place if you want nails that stay on for awhile.

Scout Pels I love going to get my pedicures here. I am from port an and we only have two places that are either really expensive or not very great. Every time I ask for something specific they do it no problem. And the pricing is amazing. I’ve never got my finger nails done there but I’m sure it’s the same. They are talented and very kind. Holly Gosh - I hate giving this place a bad review but my last time in there, my pedicure was just done sloppy. I wrote a private email with photos when I got home. I didn’t notice in the shop until I got outside in the sun. No one replied to my email so I’m making a public review. I don’t know the girls name who did my pedicure. She was lovely but she seemed to have problems with getting the polish only on the nail; not to mention she shaped the nails oddly or not at all. The saloon is lovely. The staff always friendly but not doing a good job and then not responding to a private email is not the way to keep clients.

Shanna Halasz I asked for short square with rounded edges. Simple. I got sat immediately. Very nice place. I was excited to finally find a nail place by my house. 1.5 hrs later my nails are so filed down on one side and I couldn’t even name this shape. They are usually $40 at other places and here they were $50. Which would have been okay if they were done acceptably. I told them and they offered 10% off. I said I’ll pay full price but I want them corrected. He said to come back during the week because they are busy on the weekends or I’ll have to wait. Which is insane due to the time I wasted yesterday! I will update when I attempt to get them redone.

Marissa Cooper Got my toes lip and brows done by this lady yesterday however she did not do my eye brows correctly and my toes she half fast did them so I would go back in a week or so you can already see the polish coming off they are suppose to last 3 weeks or so by the looks of my toes it’s more like a week really not worth the 77$ that I spent update todays Thursday the 13th I went in last Saturdayand my pinky toe nail chipped this is shellac And I’ve never had a problem anywhere else. My toes always lasted me. I added a picture of how my pinky toe chipped and it hasn’t even been that long when I go to other places my toes last three weeks plus

Shelia Hinds Mistreatment and poor job in CalAllen area. Nails Chipping after 2nd day. He forgot to put sealant as the last step. I was going to a wedding 3 hours away and didn’t have time to waste. He only used a fan to dry my nails. I had no shine at all! They said they took walk ins. I asked for a mani pedi. Guy at 1st chair took me. After I came in, the shop got busy. Midway through a nice woman came and asked for a mani pedi. She had no appt. After she waited about 10 minutes, while doing my nails, my tech says “I don’t think we will have time to do your pedicure.” I said ‘it’s okay I’ll find someplace else. But while paying, and giving him a tip, (which I should not have) he tells the nice lady to go in the back to get her pedi. I gave him the look. Apparently I had the wrong characteristics. Moved all the way from DC/MD area to get treated like this. I feel skin color had a place in the treatment I received. I found another place that was so nice and comforting. Toes look better than hands. Solar nails you should be ashamed!!! I will not return.

Kloe Torres i do not love my set . i have never had my set look this bad ever in my life . i showed a picture for my homecoming set & i was thinking i was going to walk out of the salon looking exactly like that well i had to walk out with something completely different i did not like it what so ever . i do not recommend going here . the first picture is what i wanted & the second one is what i got i am so upset & disappointed. & made me pay 120 for this like come on??? let’s be so for real right now .

Amanda Delapaz First and last time I will go here. Did not like the customer service. Man who did my daughter’s nails was not very friendly. My daughter who has gotten her nails done before, could not even move or flinch he would get upset and tell her to stop moving. Then of course he would start talking in their language with the other workers and it’s pretty obvious they were talking about us. We asked for pink nail white tip. The pink looked sooo pink it did not give the natural look I was wanting. And on top of it all the girl who polished my daughter’s toe nails cut her nails super short! So with French tip, it looks ridiculous. We will not be returning to this business again.

Jesi Clark Went in today needing a replacement on old sns nails, I had decided on a simple full set with a pink glitter french manicure, but the nail tech recommended other colors and Im really glad I went with her advice! She did a beautiful set and added some details she thought would be cute. (Which upcharged a little bit but that was okay with me) Fair warning I wasnt really asked beforehand, but Im glad I let her because they came out so cute! Ill definitely be back for a fill/touch up when I need to. The place was super clean and the fumes werent bad at all, Im 38 weeks pregnant and wasnt bothered.

I got a full set of acrylic with gel polish and they came out phenomenal, not thick and clumpy at all, really thin and gorgeous. I would absolutely recommend this place, just know coming in that there is only one employee at the moment so you either need to be patient or make an appointment. 10 out of 10.

CC Lynch Wanted to try this place based on the reviews, and had a 20% off coupon. Wasnt able to sit and get a pedicure with my mom and sister due to being short staffed. So I got my manicure. The guy didnt finish taking off my previous work done on my nails, nails are extremely crooked and I left with glue all over my hands. My mom just wanted a clear coat that they charged me $25 for and they didnt even shape her nails! Went to pay out, totally disappointed with the job done. Mind you I still left a tip and the lady told me that the tip wasnt enough. That they all 3 shared the tip. I was in shock. $15 on $120 isnt 20% but look at our nails. Ridiculous! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. EVER! Mind you nothing was 20% off, its just something to get you through the door.

Kayla Wallace Lady at table 9. Worst mail experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been getting my nails done for over 15 years. I told them I just got my nails replaced 3 weeks ago and don’t need new nails. They INSISTED! Instead of her soaking them off she pulls out her tool and starts pulling my nails off. I know she knew it was hurting me because she kept saying sorry. Then she takes out her file and since she pulled half my nail off it burns. I tell her this and she keeps going making my nail crack in half. She blames this on me saying my nails were too thin man. HINCE WHY I TOLD YOU NOT TO TAKE THE NEW NAILS I JUST GOT OFF! She doesn’t say sorry and keeps going. She noticed I was unhappy and telling my daughter about the shape and her response is “you tell me” . I should not have had to tell you the 5 times you’ve already messed up and we just started on color. The brush she used to get all the shavings off of me was disgusting! The table she kept throwing my arms on had old finger nails on it. I complained to her my nails were all different shapes and she files one and starts painting lol. I asked her to fix it because I’m getting them done for a meeting and she starts talking the the lady behind her ignoring me. After she finishes talking to the lady and taking a phone call she asks if I like the horrible paint job. I asked for powder so this WOULD NOT HAPPEN. She wanted to free hand and make her money so she lied about needing to take my nails off, hurt me, over charged for my nails and didn’t want to give detailed receipt, and then pushed the pay pad to me and asked for a tip! LOL! I’m nice so I tipped 5$ on top of the 70$ charge for my nails.

Nicole Ballesteros I had previously gone here and loved how my nails turned out so i returned again. I got a pedi, which was great. The lady was very sweet and caring, loved her. The lady that did my full set though is what upset me most. She sped through the process and didnt even double check to make sure that my nails are even. She had even cut my skin and proceeded to put acetone. My pedi was worth the money but my full set was definitely not. I didn’t have anymore time to have it redone as i will be going out of town. Pretty upsetting.

bridget macias Very bubbly nails. I understand they are short and that is why the guy who did them said they are fat but let me tell you that I normally get my nails done this short and they are never fat! I asked for square with sharp edges and I got round! I used to live in corpus and would always go to golden nails so I looked forward to them and I am disappointed. 3 days later by the way and they are chipping and lifting. The guy who did them must be new or something because the prep was awful and he just drilled away my cuticles and didnt even ask me to rinse my hand with water before the clear coat. That or the products are cheap… Before these awful nails I had a full set on that I had for about a month with no chipping, no lifting and all in perfect condition and still shiny but I got them done in Austin Texas (where I will continue to get them done). The only thing was they were grown and ready for a new set. I will not be going to golden nails again.

Tanya Valdez I was excited to get my nails done and asked for a very simple look. I wanted a more natural square look and emphasized that request. I also asked for a simple cat eye gel design. The guy doing my nails was very rough, didn’t say a word to me the entire time, and didn’t know how to use cat eye gel. I kept asking him to go shorter, and he said the design won’t work on short nails (which is not true). He didn’t even put cuticle oil on me, which I thought was the norm. They came out too long, very thick, and much wider than my fingers or what I asked. I kept hiding my hands because they looked bad. I still gave a tip, because that’s what I do, but decided that was the first and last time I was going there. This picture is about 7 days after getting them done. I kept filing down the edges that would scratch me.

Bavaria Heckenbach Honestly if I could leave 0 stars I would. I came in to get a soak off and a polish change on my toes and left only getting the soak off and very dissatisfied. I came for the first time because they got recommended to me and I liked the shape of my friend’s nails and will 1000% will never be coming back or recommending this place to anyone. The nail tech I believe Long was his name was trying to pop off my nails using acrylic tips and even after I expressed to him that it was painful because I felt him ripping my nail! He finally did a normal soak off after the third nail where I continued telling him it was painful and giggled while saying sorry when I dont think ripping my nail bed to the point where I’m bleeding is a laughing matter. Still made me pay for the take off and didn’t apologize once or offer any type of compensation just told me it was because my nails were too thin but then later said its because they were already ripped??? But when he soaked off the rest of them none of them were ripped nor do they feel too thin. I was trying to upload a picture but it is not letting me

Diane Cavazos This is not my usual place but they were recommended by a coworker. I started wearing acrylic overlays over my natural nails back about 3 months ago. The lady who started my nails said the next time I would need them replaced and I said ok. Some other finished me because her appointment showed up, which was no problem. I left happy. They were thin and they looked beautiful. After a few days, I saw some spots in my fingernails. They didn’t hurt, so I thought they were ink stains showing through my polish except they wouldn’t wash out. Didn’t think anything of it. Went back to my usual place, because of convenience and he said the stains were from water seeping through the acrylic, probably because they were so thin. Golden Nails should have told me I needed replacements at that time or shouldn’t have made them so thin. Now I know better and hopefully anyone reading this now knows what I learned. Replace often and don’t make them so thin.

Jackie Their services & prices are non-comparable. I’ve been using them since I moved here approximately 3 years ago. I shopped around & you just can’t find the same services even close in cost. They do it all: eyelashes, waxing, pedicures, & beautiful nails. Tulip is #1 in my book. Sometimes it is a little difficult to communicate in English. So please don’t be afraid to seek out another person there to help you translate. They’re very accommodating. I’ve always been able to get help. My daughter is deaf & Helen is most patient with her & communicates with her very well even though she does not sign. I love Long. I melt like butter during my pedicure. He’s very good with both massage & making my nails look great. We always book Long & Helen together. I also particularly love it when they have the very relaxing beautiful music track that plays in their language. It’s very relaxing & beautiful. I requested special color for my tips & also prefer them rounded & shorter. They always do my nails per my specifications & also do wonderful designs. Just take them a picture & they’ll fix you up. I always book Tracy for my more complicated nail art requests. She’s fantastic, but she’s not the only stylist that does nail art.

Trisha So this is the second time I came to this place just to give it another try thinking maybe the last time I went they were just having a bad day or something. I went in to go get a manicure and I just wanted the shellac gel polish. The manager or owner was like oh we have this new gel. It’s called hard gel. Do you wanna try it? I said what is it? She said it last longer and it’s hard like you would get doing the fake nails the full set or whatever. So I said sure. I’ll try it then. She’s like oh your nails are short. I said yeah I like them short she goes, but these are too short. Can I do tips on them? I said maybe on two of them so she did tips on two of them to even out the length, then she starts just applying the gel and she’s like oh don’t worry I’ll cut your cuticles and clean your nails after I’m done and I’m thinking how do you do that when The polish is already on and you can’t get around the nail or clean around it. So she gets done with the hard gel and she files them down a bit for me on the ones that were too long. So then she’s like go wash your hands and come back and then we’re all done. So we go to the checkout counter and I see that on the charge it says a manicure upgrade. So I asked her why is it a manicure upgrade? She said because I cut your nails and cuticles that’s why I charge for the upgrade. I said, but nothing was done and all you did was put the polish. I said what about the manicure part like the soaking the cleaning the oil the lotion and you’re gonna charge me $50 for that just to put hard gel on my nails and call it a day. So then she tells me oh if you want lotion here there’s some lotion right here you could put it on I’m like seriously. WHAT PART OF SHE DIDNT DO ANYTHING IS THE PROBLEM AND FOR $50 the nails could’ve been better they are already not even $50 worth of service and look at my cuticles she didn’t cut it or clean nothing. Also you need to get them to explain better because that is not what she explained. Next time I will record the conversation.

Kayla Wallace We were the second customer to walk in. My daughter had someone help her first and had a hard time explaining she wanted red French tips. Person kept saying white when she said red so she got upset and just let him do white. I got passed off to two people. Had me in the back while two employees ate sunflower seeds making spit noises and cracking noises the whole time I’m trying to relax. I tell the guy he put too much white and I like my French too thin and to go with the shape of the almond tip. He puts MORE WHITE leaving gaps where he didn’t paint all the way white. Now my French tips have more white than natural nail. Not one shape is the same. Two of my nails were not filed correctly and look like bumpy teeth. They kept asking if we are ok when we obviously were upset. Lady asked after I was done if she could fix for free when she heard me the whole hour and a half not being able to communicate with my nail tech or my daughters. Normally we have great service here but today was the worst service I ever had. It’s my only day off this week and I had to listen to smacking and pay 100$ when my daughter or myself liked our nails. Don’t go here unless you want to stress yourself out. Update: we got contacted and they had us come in to fix! Helen and Kevin did AMAZING! We couldn’t be more happy. Great customer service, quick, and did better than expected like we are use to. Please ask for them if you go to this store!

Mayra Flores-Espinoza I hate to do this, but my experience here was truly the worst I’ve ever had anywhere. I came in for a mani and pedi. A gentleman did both starting with the pedi and I should have walked out after that. When he was shaving my foot with the grater he got too close to my ankle and shaved a chunk of it off. You could see the white meat. I took it as a mistake and continued to the mani where he too did that. Dear God, I have never been burned by a drill so many times… not only did he drill too much of my nail causing burning, when he was shaping my nail with the big file he was filing part of the skin around the nail too. When you go get these services you are anticipating a relaxing experience, but instead I was tense and anxious the entire time waiting for the next pain to come. I was on the verge of tears. The owner noticed my frustration when i was checking out, and I told her what happened with my mani and how much he had hurt me - I didn’t even show her my ankle. She took care of my mani and told me to come back to get it fixed, but I probably won’t be going back.

Destrianna Moses I’ve been 3 or 4 times now and love it. Everyone is friendly and attentive. Yes, it does get busy and stay busy but I’ve never felt like they’ve rushed to finish just to service someone else. They truly take their time and give you what you pay for. I’ve only ever seen Phillip and he really is SO good. Super sweet and does a great job with anything you ask for. 10/10 recommend!

Tabatha Peardon These are probably the worst nails I’ve gotten, the paint it uneven, they are crooked, they don’t even clean up skin around fingers, others places do and charge same price, my skin around my toe got cut and hurts.. just so unsatisfied. I get there and is greeted by a nice gentlemen, then he directs me to a female tech. No hi, asks me for color, I get up to go to polishes because I see no samples, she sits there trying to point me to samples that are hanging. OK fine, then I choose color, go through process of shellac. I try to point to my thumb and tell her it’s crooked, apparently there is a language barrier now.. whatever I’m already getting annoyed it’s not too bad but noticeable, I can live with it. Then they don’t have color I chose. Ok, doesn’t quite match outfit needed for but ok.. during pedi I get a piece of skin clipped off! And she just looks at me and continues. No sorry, nothing! Fingers and toes done. I want to get out I pay and leave. My goodness my nails are just ugly.

French tip SNS with pink powder and they always have a stocked bar. I notice the woman that was taking off nails on another lady that came in was super rude and on her cell phone the whole time. That was frustrating to watch. Also another gentleman in a nice shirt Im guessing the owner just sat their looking pissed off the whole time. That made me a little uncomfortable. But my technician, he was wonderful!

Veronica Benavides I had a horrible experience. The girl working (not the owner) charged me $55 for just SNS. I had a $50 gift certificate and she asked me first how I was paying then said $55. I think she made that number up. No one in town charges that much!!! I got glitter and I told her one was ugly because it was missing glitter, she said what does ugly mean. I told her I didnt like the way it looked and she said dont look at it just feel it. She also burned my cuticles and they look so bad!! :(

Jeri Conley The pedi’s my husband and I received were good and the owners were very nice and reassuring that the prices are what they advertise. I got the regular pedi and my husband was talked into a gel pedi. When we went to pay for our services it came out to $90! I was overcharged for my regular pedi! So beware, know the price before you get the service done! At first it was $25 for mine and $45 for his. When we went to pay and the lady owner said something in Vietnamese to her husband and our total changed to $90!!!

Lola Guzman Paid quite a lot of money for my mother and i to get gel pedicures, only for my nails to start peeling off within 4 hours of leaving. They were nice enough to repaint my nails, however within 3 days my nails are already chipped and lifting. Two of my toes are completely bare and i am out of town. I called to ask if I could send pictures for proof so I can get them fixed whenever I return to town. They said they cannot wait for me to come back to repaint for free, as well as no refund. $120 wasted and i tipped very good. Do not recommend.

Nicki Vasquez They call you poor if you question the prices. Usually nail polish comes with the nail price so I am just asking what the charge for. He has I’d anything is extra. But the water he gave me was not extra. It’s included. How do I know if I don’t ask? Asking questions doesn’t mean you’re poor it means you are not stupid. She did not paint my nails well. They are the cheapest in corpus and they work/act like it. Don’t recommend. Go somewhere they have complimentary drinks and nail polish included in price on the menu.

Brittany Garcia Honestly I LOVED this place. Ive gone multiple times over the last 4 years and always enjoyed my time here and the work they put in. I noticed the quality of work has gone down some. Nails different shapes and thickness and also lots of crooked nails. Sometimes the work would be rushed sometimes it wasnt but I kept coming back because they were affordable and always very nice. My last visit though was the last straw. Everything went off without a hitch until it came time to pay. My usual 55 dollar new set had now gone up to $65 with no warning. I was a little annoyed but no biggie. I hand over my card and it keeps declining (I only put the amount on my card for the item Im paying for the rest of my money stays locked). Anyways, I check my phone and I see Im being charged an extra 10 dollars when I ask him about it he basically says no your phones wrong. We keep trying to charge it but it keeps declining, I show him again that hes over charging me. So he adjusts the price to $55 and says I owe him 10 dollars next time I come back. I pay and I leave. When I checked my phone he still snuck in an extra charge of 8 dollars because it rang up as 63 dollars and change on my end. If he was trying to get a tip I dont know why he felt the need to sneak one because I ALWAYS tip when I go in. Unfortunately I wont be returning.

Mama Llama Unsanitary. They do not clean tools like they are supposed to. They will use it on someone before you and then come over to use it on you. If you dont believe me look at the purple foot files. They are supposed to change those for each person but they are always so used looking and thin. Shop is dirty and they are rude unless you are a regular. Everytime i have been here my nails have hurt for days after, but have since learned that is because they are either using mma illegal monomer or they just file your nails way too much. Either way is not good for your nails. Take your chances if you want.

Not only did Alex stay late to do my nails and it was my first time ever meeting him, but he did a FANTASTIC job! Was very fast. Paid great attention to detail. And if you don’t like your nails super thick (like me) he is for sure the one to go to. He will now be my go to nail tech. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

Makenzie Bridges I’ve been a regular at Elite Nails for about 10 years, since I was a teenager, and I’ve always had mostly positive experiences. I know or recognize most of the staff, many of whom have been there just as long. However, today’s visit really changed my perspective. I didn’t get the name of the technician who worked on me, but she’s been there for years—just like me. Unfortunately, this time, I felt she didn’t make any effort to be friendly or offer the excellent customer service I’ve come to expect from this place. I asked her three separate times to turn up the water temperature because it was freezing, but it never got warm. Eventually, I gave up, which was frustrating. The lady who did my nails last time was amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and personable, and she even offered me a drink. I tipped her generously because of the great service. But the lady who moved on from my nails today was the same one who left me feeling disappointed. After she finished my nails, she got up and moved to another customer, leaving me with two toenails unpainted. I sat there waiting while new customers were being served, which made the whole experience feel even worse. Towards the end it felt very rushed and sloppy also. Although I appreciate the pedicure itself—it was relaxing and felt great—the lack of customer service and the feeling of being overlooked was incredibly disappointing, especially since the staff knows me and my family well. It’s not just about the service; it’s about respect and acknowledgment of regular customers who have been coming for years. I even still tipped her, although I was not satisfied with my experience. Hopefully, this experience was just a one-off, but it’s left me questioning whether I’ll continue coming back.

Hannah Mynard DO NOT GO HERE!! I went to get my nails&toes done, it came out to 137 (with tip) got home and realized they charged my card a second time for $147. When calling and trying to resolve the issue they acted clueless to who I was or what they had done. They then put me off for 4 days saying to call back when a manager was there . I will never again go there . To top it off they took FOREVER to get my pedicure done since the lady wanted to get up and down to make drinks, cash people out, and look at others nails . Very unhappy, very unsettling, and very unprofessional. This company and the people are thieves .

Felecia Williamson Honestly, the worst nails I have ever gotten. He did not trim or push back my cuticles and we all know how important that is to have a pretty nails set. I asked for oval shape and I got a bunch of weird un matching round shaped nails. The powder is over my skin on almost all my nails. And they where pretty expansive for a basic set that had no cuticle work.

Brit Wick This was hands down the B E S T full set manicure I had ever gotten in my entire life. And my mother owned nail salons when I was a teenager/young adult. It has been a few months since I had these done, I forgot the magical duo who made this happen but they were a GODSEND. But I will never forget these amazing beauts. The last photo is then inspo photo from Pinterest. She took one look and said she’d do her best, grabbed the right colors and did it like it was her millionth time, but better than the original. Like a perfectionist!!!! I cannot stress enough, they did an above and beyond job. I have seriously considered flying back to Corpus from Portland, that good.

Diana Ayala What a waist of time and money. The bf and I went in for pedicures and came out looking and feeling like we did before we walked in. The nail tech did my feet like she was tired or scared to touch feet. When she skipped over a whole toe and nail I lost it. If she didnt want to do it then walk away and dont do it is what I told her. Then when we go pay she charges us $75!!!! $75 for what a basic wash and half a** scrub and cleaning. Wow! To all whom seek a place for a self care day RUN, TURN AROUND . DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT try this place. Total waist of time and money.

aa bb I dont understand why some nail salons do not take pride in their business. This place was dirty. The area where they keep the polish had a mound of junk hanging out of a shelf, all kinds of polish all over the place in no order and the polishes looked old. I wanted to say, Uh, no thanks. But, I stayed. I wish the lady would have painted my nails but a young man did it. I doubt he obtained his license in the USA because he did not speak English nor did he understand me when I spoke to him. He had to just ignore me. This place is like half residence and half business. I feel sorry for them. Everything was dirty, the pedicure chair, the table where they do the nails, the nail dryer, the floor. My nails.. well, you could tell he was just learning because I felt like a teenager painted my nails, and he cut me. Please Angel, clean up your business.

My daughter went to go get her nails done she went in requesting a certain design, shape, and color. What the nail tech failed to do decided to do her own style and design. My daughter was showing the nail tech a picture of the design she wanted and the nail tech failed to look at it. My daughter requested the same shape and length of the nail AGAIN the NAIL TECH FAILED TO DO IT. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT AL DO NOT GO FOR ANY MANICURE/PEDICURE. THIS IS A VERY DIRTY FILTHY PLACE.

Grace Lopez Pedicure yesterday. The polish is not to the cuticle & pictures show how bad the pedicure was. I went back in today to show them their work & they only had four workers. They only touched up the polish & ignored how bad the actual pedicure looked like. I was told I could come back. No one there was authorized to refund or at least give me credit to come back and let them try again.

She put way too much powder to them to where they looked super tacky They literally looked so bad , and then my pinky nail fell off one day after I left. when I went back to have her fix it, she told me my nail was dirty instead of just fixing the problem You should never argue with a customer, especially being that we pay 80$ + a set and then y’all expect a tip well that sure is not going to get you one ! Treat people with respect or don’t be nail tech some People don’t get to treat themselves out often so when we do we’d like to have a nice Relaxing time . At that she didn’t even bother to make my white tips even and my nail Lengths even!!!!!

Jane They did a terrible job. They chipped the same night, she left polish on my skin. Parts of my nails didnt even have polish on them. I went back and asked them to fix it, they said no because the woman who did my nails wasnt there. You should honor the work done in your salon, someone else should have fixed them for me. Very disappointed. I would not reccomend this salon at all. I should get a refund, but they wont do that either. Poor customer service, poor way to run a business. I will never go back.

Monica Lopez John did amazing on my pedicure, especially with my ingrown toenails. It was the best experience I’ve had. It was not as painful as it usually is when having them taken out. He also did my SNS perfectly. It was Fourth of July when I went so it was busy, but all the staff was accommodating to me and all the other customers. It’s definitely worth traveling from Kingsville to Corpus Christi!

Maria Salinas I never write reviews but in case it is really necessary, I will never come to this place, horrible costumer service, I was nice and polite ask for a pedicure I choose number 1 and requested regular nail polish… didn’t think nothing of it went on with the first nail tech he did a quick work filing nails and bottom of feet … never put hot towels on legs then another costumer showed up, so he moved on to the new costumer to start a full set of nails and another lady “nail tech” came up and finish the job, she go ahead and ask me if I wanted shellac I replied no thanks I want regular nail polish… so at that point she was already upset…. And insisted if I wanted shellac I politely replied no ma-am.. she proceeded to start polishing my toe nails in a bad manner … I then ask her about the towels that I’m used to get in other places… then she said which one you pick I said #1 she replied no you don’t get any … she then finish the messed up job and told me you have to wait 45 min (do you have time) she ask .. I’m like do you have those plastic sandal.? She said yes and give me a weird look.. I stood up pay and left .. never said have a good day or anything.. just bad service over all ,!

LaToya Sanchez I came in because my usual spot could not do the design I wanted. I do not know the woman’s name, but she did a great job. My nails were thick and she did shave them skimmer as I made her aware. It was her first time ever attempting to do this design (it is a peculiar design that I do not even know the name for it) and I think she did a wonderful job! It is not exact and I never expect exact every time, but I still think it looks great! I went home very happy with my set!

Sarena Segovia Paid $60 for the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Started with a guy who kept asking me how to do his job, seemed like it was the first pedicure he’d ever done and didn’t even know how to use nail clippers. I told him he needed to clean under the toenails and push the cuticles back like the do with any pedicure. The owner (I’m assuming) came to take over and was rude and rushed through. Still left him a $10 tip, but I will be contacting TDLR about the guy they have working there with no training and possibly no license.

allison haley I usually would go to this place often with no issues until today. I went to get a manicure and pedicure done. A guy that I have not seen before helped me; seemed very timid and nervous doing the job. He did not clip my nails at first until I had mentioned something when he did both my pedicure and manicure. During the pedicure, the water was set way too hot to the point where when he felt the temperature, he shook his hand due to it being too hot. My feet werent in the water for too long after he adjusted the temp and he drained the water so I didnt get the pedicure I had asked for. As for the manicure, he used the drill and left rough lines on my nails. He did not do anything with my cuticles until I mentioned something. I just wanted polish on my real nails with shellac and he tried to do fake nails until I told him again that I just wanted polish. After the manicure and polish, I noticed lint from the towel he was using already set with the shellac but was already dissatisfied with the service and just wanted to pay and leave.

Sue Campbell I took my daughter here to get her nails done and her eyebrows and lip wax for her senior pictures. Her nails were okay other than a spot that stuck-up out of the Polish. But I would not recommend this place for waxing ever. The wax was too hot and the lady put the cloth over the wax and let it sit there too long. When she pulled the wax strip off not only did the hair come off but so did the top layer of my daughters skin. I had to take her to the doctor the next day to get some burn cream for her to put on it. Now she has to wait until her lip heals to take her senior pictures. She told me that it burns after she got it done and it was red but I didnt realize the severity of it while I was at the shop. Had I had known then I definitely would have said something. So I do not recommend this place to anyone.

This person knows the owner’s, she referred me to Kim, the first time I went there was Kim’s husband, that did my mani and pedi. He did a good job. July 9th, I went back to get a mani pedi, and Kim did my nails this time. She was very good and did a fantastic job. This place is very clean, friendly, and accommodating to your needs. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get their nails done.

drivercharles The manager here or a worker, whichever doesn’t matter, but they worked here and they told me to sew my private area shut because they found out I was forced to adopt out my baby… who says something so insensitive for such a hard circumstance? It’s been echoing in my mind for so long that I had to make a review about it.
