Kathy Riley Lea. I think did my pedicure and was it awesome? She did a very thorough job and made me relax the whole time I will be back. Q did my nails and oh was he good? I thought I needed to tell him every aspect do this. Do that man he shut me up quick and did a wonderful job. I will be back. not only that the place was very clean and very nice to relax in. This has to be one of my most relaxing and nice experiences in the Lubbock area.

Katye Gruben If you’re looking for an AMAZING place to get your nails done OR even eyelash extensions and facial faxing.. look NO further. I have been coming here for a while now and I will forever recommend this place to any/everyone. The environment is great.. everyone is so nice and listens. They don’t just rush you in and out. They make sure everything is perfect before you walk out the door. Christina has done my nails the last two times and I have gotten SO many compliments. She takes her time and is all around amazing. But i have never had a bad experience from anyone else doing my nails either! Everyone is SO great.

Cortney Chancellor I have tried so many salons in Lubbock and after all of the good reviews I was hoping this would be the place. My nails came out thick and bulky, the clear coat it’s chipping off on almost all of them (I’ve had them for 3 days). And the nail technician sanded down the tips of my finger tips til they bled. Not a pleasant experience for me.

Shaunda S Went in and asked for the same style just a color change on my feet ( shellac color w/white tip)and my 6 year olds nails painted with shellac …was told it would $20 for mine and $10 for my daughter. Before she finished I had to remind her to put my white tip…she then tells me that will be $5 extra and I was confused. I told her never mind. Once she finished my polish was lumpy and my toes were painted half way. When she checked my out my total was suppose to be $30 even…but the screen showed $30.60 so I told her she made a mistake…she told me no it charges to run MY card. I will never return and would not recommend to anyone. The smell of the green water fish tank was also not very pleasant during my visit.

china lucus The owner and staff are really nice. Ive been a customer of theirs for many years and always follow them wherever they go. My nails last me a good month to a month and a half sometimes even two. They take their time and love what they do. Would highly recommend getting your next pedicure and manicure or even nails done at this establishment.

Jaylessa Aguirre Ivy did my nails and she did a wonderful job. I paid $171 with an additional $20 tip totaling out to $191 for nails and pedicure (Gel is an additional $20). Although, it’s expensive you’re getting very good quality.

Maria Scott This was the first time in 4 years that I got my nails done and I was very impressed by the skill and efficiency of the nail techs!! I came with a group of 4 (including me). As soon as we walked in someone greeted us and asked what we needed. It didnt take long for all of our nails to be done and the end results looked precise and beautiful! Sarah Wells Terrible service, terrible nails. The male manager that was there did my nails. Before he even put on the topcoat, I asked him why the color was 2 different tones and he told me that it was because of glitter, when it looks like they 2 different mixed powders. He told me he could paint gel over the dip to make it the right color which was fine, Then going to check out he charged me way too much for the services I had received and would not show me an itemized receipt of my transaction after I confronted him. He voided my charge and said he’ll rerun my card to get the right amount and then show me an itemized receipt. When the amount continued to climb when I questioned him on prices. He started to make up prices and additional fees like charging for the gel he put on because his color was incorrect to the swatch. I told him that he was wrong for charging $60 because I had looked in the their menu book and it was $45. Also he added that said I asked for acrylic, but I asked for dip of the phone when I made my appointment, once when I got there for my appointment and again to confirm with him. He still refused to admit he was wrong for that. He never once said sorry or apologized for anything, whether it was the color, wrong charge or saying I lied. Let’s just say this business is taking advantage of their customers and should not be able to have their doors open. It is totally Illegal to do that to a customer and refused to provide an itemized receipt I feel disrespected thank goodness I stood up for myself or I would be out $160.

Lisa dR I came to town (from Oklahoma City) for a little under a week. Five of us (moms & daughters) went to Lavish to get our nails done. I was blessed with Lynn. She was patient, kind, helpful, friendly, and SKILLED. My nails came out wonderfully. Even though I don’t get all the extras, I still love my nails! (I like the more natural look; 1st pic). Someone else did my daughter’s nails with an ombré gold. Beautiful! (2nd pic) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Kevin Gentry Came here on 2/9 as a recommendation by a friend. I personally dont spend a lot of time at nail and spa locations. They were a little more expensive than the few other locations I had been to previously, but wanted to ensure my girl enjoyed her time. The staff while gentle, were efficient. Including a cute and quaint locations to relax in, I appreciate when you can observe the employees and they feel comfortable in there workspace as it preaches experience. I enjoyed my pedicure. My girl endorses the tech who completed her manicure and nails did an excellent job. Nails have currently lasted longer than the past time they were done. I Do recommend

Melissa Coke I had a great experience at this salon. Its really clean and well-kept, which I always appreciate. I decided to try a new trend, and Eric did a fantastic job. However, when I got home, I realized the style wasnt quite right for me. I returned to the salon later that day, and Eric was super accommodating—he made some adjustments to the part I wasnt loving. The final look turned out beautiful, and I left with a smile. I felt valued as a customer and grateful for how dedicated he was to making sure I was happy.

Karyme Zuniga Update: The manager of the salon, Jon, called me and offered me a new set and refund. He did a WONDERFUL job!! I am super impressed by their customer service and values as a business. I would recommend them!. I really appreciated them going above and beyond. It truly improved my day. I cannot speak more highly of their business! It went from a bad experience to an amazing one in less than 24 hours. They truly deserve any business that comes their way. The manager was so considerate he even rescheduled his own personal hair appointment. I went yesterday night as a walk in and requested a simple French tip set. I had high hopes based on the reviews and my friends recommendation. The lady I was placed with at first did a horrible job. She laid the acrylic over my cuticles, touching the actual the skin on my finger, once she started filing them she was burning the skin around my nail trying to thin out the acrylic. Once we started on the shape, it continued to go down hill. This is when I realized the nail tips were all different sizes and inconsistent. I tried voicing my concerns about the shape but she wasn’t able to do the square shape. At this point, I requested a new nail technician. I was placed with a different one and she said she could remedy the base that was already placed. She was able to shape them better but my nails still look bulky and the tips are different sizes. I’m very disappointed. I was left with nails I don’t enjoy and want to get taken off. For the price I paid, I don’t believe it was worth it.

Star Lara My toenails are great, its my nails Im definitely not happy with! I explained when I walked in before even being seated, how they were & the lady said what she could do. The shape on one is bad, & there is a gap on another, like a dent. My nails are supposed to be almond shaped. The people are nice, but just not happy.

Ashlyn Robbins I would not recommend coming here. There are much better places. I have gotten my nails done many times but never once had blood dripping down my finger. The lady was very aggressive and took a chunk out of my finger with a drill and just kept going back and forth over it while I was bleeding. She never said sorry or even acknowledged what happened. My nails are chunky and cracking the same day that I got them done. On top of being in pain, the nails look horrible. I still had to pay full price.

M M I had to wait almost an hour after my appointment time to get service. I also didn’t get the tech that I’d made an appointment with. My nails were wayyyy TOO EXPENSIVE for what I got and one of the tips started fading the very next day. There are too many nail salons in Lubbock to return to this one.

Sydney Taylor I came here with high hopes based on the reviews i read. overall the customer service was very good and the nail technician i had was very funny and personable. The two glitter nails did not turn out the way I asked for them to be but i did not complain because my nail tech did a very good job otherwise. despite not getting exactly what i asked for When i left i was optimistic that i had finally found a good and reliable nail salon in lubbock. however less than two days later, 3 of my nails have already popped off. I was not unusually rough on my nails. i’ve been getting dip power nails for years and typically they can last me 2-4 weeks if i’m careful enough with them. it’s just super disappointing because I liked my nails enough to go back and give them another try but it’s ridiculous that less than a week after i go almost half my nails have managed to just pop right off :( ( the photo of the glitter nail on the right is what I had originally asked for) UPDATE: the salon called me within an hour of me posting this review and asked when i could come in the get it fixed. they were really sweet and made sure i was happy every step of the way. i am so much happier with my set this time. clearly this business really cares about maintaining good relationships with customers and making sure they also give customers what they want. overall very happy with my experience at viva and I will definitely be back again! both of my nail techs were very sweet

Leslye Cavazos WORST SERVICE EVER!! Worst part of all was that it came from the owner. I asked to have a full set done. When she started cutting my nails I let her know that it was shorter then what I asked and she said no it just looks short. Once she started adding the color I let her know that it was still short. She replied with attitude that it was not and that if I wanted to stop. I responded with yes Im done (she had done 2 nails). She said ok it will still be $30 because I already did some work. At this point I said what ever since Im going to have to pay might as well finish them. She was taking forever and being really rough. I told her that I need to leave cause I had another appointment. She told me to come back before 5 so she can finish. Of course I paid before I left. I wasvery unsatisfied with my nails but was still giving them an opportunity. I went back at 4:35 and was told she was gone and that she would be back in 10min. I ask if one of the 4 employees could finish them and was told they DIDNT know how to finish them. At this point I asked for a refund and was told the owner had to do it. 5:15 comes around and the lady walks in YELLING that she was not going to give me a refund. I asked her to stop yelling at me cause I was not being rude. I told her the service was horrible and my nails where horrible not worth the $70. She kept yelling. I told her look I wanted to have them fix but non of your employees knew how, she responded with they where busy thats why they didnt help. I told her sorry but when I arrived there was ZERO people here and they where just chatting away in a corner. She resonded with oh they DONT know how to do nails. I was in shocked by the responde. Finally another guy said let me try to fix them I agreed since it was clear I was not going to get my money back. He kind of fixed them but also cut me while he was filing my nails. I WILL NEVER go back to this place. I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Tiffany Bush While the a fancy salon in terms of decor, this salon takes great care of you. It’s clean and they have everyone who comes in wash their hands first thing. They did a great job on my dip nails and included in the price was a relaxing hand and arm massage that made my scalp tingle! I’ll be back when visiting Lubbock.

Gina Elder The nail technician did not at all pay attention to detail. She also didn’t pay any attention to what I wanted. I showed her photos and described what I wanted. (“not too square,” “not too thick,” etc.) She didn’t manicure the cuticles. When I left the salon, I noticed the acrylic didn’t even reach my cuticles. It’s been 2 days and I can tell I’ll need a fill sooner than later. My nails are ridiculously thick and sloppy. I’m not planning to return.

Laura Gatenby Nice prices but not the best job. Walked in for a basic manicure - no polish, they had me waiting A WHILE but I stayed for the price. 3 days go by and my cuticles are already ugly and unkempt. Not to mention they repeated “pedicure?” 4 times after I stated “basic manicure”. We went back and forth until I was forced to say “no just a manicure”. I’m not sure who would enjoy that type of behavior and it wasn’t the language barrier. It’s like they were trying to make me get a pedi. Not worth going back. Not a relaxing experience.

Charlee taft I have gone to them for about two years now and have had good and bad experiences. This was the worst of them all and I will never go back. All of my nails are deferent lengths and shapes, when I asked him to fix it he said that he thinks it looks fine and to ask the customer next to me. I just ended up saying that they looked fine, because he did not seem very willing to fix it. Will not be going back.

Terri Frazier We had a lovely outing with family. They were kind and efficient and accommodated us all...lol including the papaws desire for multiple polish! Grandma is 101 and didnt want anything done. So they pulled her and Mimi chairs up so they were part of the party even offered drinks! I loved my polish...lol just wish I could pronounce it! One last thing the nail tech saw (I didnt) that I had smudged a toe on Grandmas wheelchair. She followed me out and touched it up on the spot! All wore masks though out.

He did exactly what I asked, and offered some next-level suggestions that exceeded my expectations (as a stylist of 30 years I am very particular). I cannot stop staring at my beautiful nails! Truly a work of art! The staff was polite, the owners were so nice and engaging, and I liked the clean peaceful vibe of the salon. The nail techs were not talking over their clients to each other (I know you know what Im talking about) and all the clients were in a great mood, visiting with each other and just enjoying the moment. It takes a certain ambiance to create a relaxed and peaceful environment to engage this way with strangers. I just found my forever nail family home...

Experience was horibble, guy was super rough and cutting me multiple times, his excuse was that my nails were to short! In my opinion if you’re not able to do them then that’s when someone else should step up and do it to avoid hurting the customer. Never again and I don’t recommend this place!

I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and pedicure about every 4-6 weeks unless I need a little extra pampering. Kim has always done a great job on my nails and remembers what I like. She gives the best foot massage and can almost put me to sleep. So relaxing and I enjoy my nail days!

Patsy Snider My water was cold. She didn’t clip my toe nails. The towel and stones were luke-warm. She didn’t rub my feet. When it was brought to their attention they said she does things differently and cleans at the end of the pedicure. So you paint the toes and then skin residue to be cleaned on top of clean polish? Then they charged full price of $65. There was dry skin at the bottom of my feet. They did nothing to correct this issue. Awful service. I had an awful day and this brought me to tears. Not the way we should treat customers going in to be pampered and who are ready to pay for the services!

NOAH Absolutely awful I’m never going here again, they didn’t let me refund my nail, which was uncured and peeled done by Kim, and then I went there the next day asking for a refund and they said they could only fix it and this is not fixing it you made it worse when I asked for red bottoms, you put no effort into putting a second coat on the red making it look messy and unfinished 66 dollars plus 30 Dollar tip of money wasted if they mess up your nails don’t ask them to fix them they won’t. Absolutely ridiculous. 96 dollars. This was not worth the money

She drilled my nail short then told me a coffin shape would be better. I told her ok and then she told me shed do an almond shape and then she just rounded my nails. So now theyre short and round and theyre gritty feeling because the acrylic dust wasnt completely off when she put the gel top coat on. She told me shed change my shape next time I go in but I will not be going back in.

Crystal M This was my first time coming to indulge Nail Bar. The atmosphere is very nice however if you are sensitive to the acrylic smell this is not the spot for you because it is very heavy. I dont know why some nail places do not smell like acrylic and then other places its so loud. But other than that everything was nice. And they also serve complimentary mimosas or margaritas if you wanted or different types of Fountain drinks.

Rhonda Griffin After having good results several times from the salon my last experience was not up to par whatsoever. I received a basic manicure and before the day was even done I was already getting chips on my nails. I have included pictures of what my nails look like less than 48 hours after services. My toenails were not cut appropriately and before leaving I actually had to have my heels filed a bit more because they were Jagged and rough. I am extremely disappointed and very upset about the services I received.

Monique Garcia I will not be returning to this place. I went the day before and provided a picture of what I was wanting and the owner told me it would be $75. I go in the next day and a lady starts doing my nails. Then the owner makes her stop mid trim to take care of another walk in and made me go to another nail tech. He broke one of the nail tips and instead of replacing it he just filled it in with powder and flooded Mt nail bed to the point he had to drill away all the extra power that had dried under my nail. No gloves and continually used his own finger nail to push my cuticles back and clean out the access powder he left behind. The nails on my left hand are significantly longer than the one on my right. My left thumb nail is already coming up and my right thumb nail has damage to it where he didnt correct the gel that smeared. He also only applied one layer of the gel so the black vow print is see through on certain spots. After all this he told me it would be $90 I tried to explain that the owner told me $75 and she seriously tried to say she never told me that. She made me pay $85 that I really couldnt afford to spend. I had only set aside what she had originally told me. She was extremely rude and the artist was unsanitary and unprofessional. I do not recommend.

This visit, I only wanted a pedi to remove dead skin from cuticles and soles without polish bc my gel French tips and flower artwork still looked great! My technician touched up the white and added another top coat to extend the polish for me…and the price was very agreeable!

M Lu First time here and was not impressed. For starters when I walked in they were not friendly at all and then rushed me to pick a color after I told them I wanted a manicure. Once I sat down I told the guy I wanted short and round shellac which he said ok but did the quite opposite. He started clipping my nails into coffin shape and I reminded him I wanted round, and he said "ok, ok" but proceeded to do what he wanted which was mid length coffin nails. Then when he began to paint it was horrible and looked like a toddler painted them. I tried talking to him about them and he seemed to be getting upset, then grabbed my hand and said "let me see". I said forget it and went to wash my hands... when I seen how awful they looked I requested someone else to help me and he was already trying to charge me $40... a lady stepped in and was helpful and told me to sit down.. she tried to fix the shape and make me happy but he had already screwed them up so bad that the shape could really not be fixed. I was not happy at this point but ready to leave since I had been there for two hours at that point. I left with nails different shapes, sizes, and just not a good look. She charged me $45 ($5 more than he originally was) and I just left after paying. Id recommend staying away from that guy for sure... if not the whole salon.

Irene Mendez Today, was my first time ever trying this place out, hoping to have good experience. Well, the service was good, and pleasant until it was time for us to pay. I asked the young man 3x times how much was it before swiping my card and he acted like he didnt hear me, which he did because he was looking at me. Once he told me the price, I was shocked!! I know things are a little pricier but seriously?? I received a full set of acrylic nails, and my granddaughter painted her nails and toes with shellac. I know since I take her to paint her nails at our original spot that shellac is somewhat more $$ but charging me $50 just to paint her nails is beyond me!! I mean they were MORE THAN MY NAILS!! How does this make sense?? She is a 5y old with baby nails. I know I could have done them at home myself, but she was wanting to feel special as she is and do them in a salon. Thanks for the first experience which we would not forget and will not be returning. This might not matter today but people will know. #word of mouth

Taylor Aldape This was a PAINFUL experience. I came in to get my dip removed today. the nail tech (who seemed to be the manager or owner because he was instructing the other workers and customers where to go) sat me down and began digging a pair of nail clippers between the dip and my nail bed. he was clipping away at the dip. Once he clipped as much as he could around the nail, he slid a nail tip in between my nail and the dip to separate the two. It tore the top layer of my nail off. It was painful, especially on my pinky fingers. I immediately asked him to “please soak the dip off” instead of removing it this way. He responded “this is faster and acetone dries out your cuticles.” He continued to chip away at the dip and use the fake nail tip to separate the dip from my nail bed. my nails are left very thin and look horrible. I can’t believe i paid $10 for this service. I would’ve taken the dry cuticles over this. If i wanted to take the dip off this way, i could’ve easily done it myself… and for FREE.

emily munoz It was my first time ever going to this place, I was scared because it was different from my usual place, but I ended up getting a set I did not like due to there being mess ups on my nail. I came back to see if I could get them fixed and I want to say the manager of the store, a young man with glasses, usually tells everyone to sign in, he fixed my nails. He did not have to fix them and refuse my service but he did not. He is a great person, I definitely will come back and make sure to pick the right set I want because of his kindness!!

Alyssa Marmolejo I go here often and have never had as bad of an experience as today’s. IT WAS PAINFUL. I went in just for a simple pedicure and to paint my toes. Starting off I was never asked for the extra shellac services was just charged, when my toes were being painted the machine burnt me twice, when receiving my leg massage he kept man handling me I had to tell him “ow” twice, and when he was scrubbing my feet he kept scrubbing my legs and scratched my lower ankles all up per the pictures below. And finally when I went to put my shoes on they were soaking in water and was charged $55 for the entire 25min I was there.

Sallie Rodriguez Truly a disappointment...after a recommendation I went to Coco to celebrate my birthday. I chose the most expensive pedicure as a treat. The total pedicure was $120. $85 + 20 for shellac + 15 tip (I should not have left that much). The service stated massage and a time of 70 minutes. I was never welcomed, never offered a drink, and the entire service including my wait and picking nail color was less than an hour. When I asked for a drink, they looked at each other and smiled and shook their head. They clipped the nails entirely too short. I picked a red. It looked pink. When I asked about the color, I was assured it would turn out red. I left with short, blotchy, unevenly painted nails - that are pink, not red. Terrible experience for way too much money.

The only reason I continued going to this salon was because of Teresa and her husband they on the other hand are very sweet ! And honestly probably the only 2 that are good and take their time.

Savannah Cruz First off this was a horrible experience and not worth the money. I took my 2 nieces and daughter to get their nails done. The man that did my nieces nails did a horrible job as you can see. It was a birthday present from me to her and they turned out terrible. VERY THICK & he didn’t clean under the nail with the tool like most nail techs do. It’s slanted as you can see because it’s more thick at the very front of the nail and not as thick at the back of the nail. And way too wide never seen square nails that wide. We were also rushed which I understand they were busy but still. No we didn’t say anything because I have social anxiety and already had to tell them to paint my other nieces nails again because it clearly needed another coat. I didn’t want to cause problems but they should have looked at these acrylics and see that it looks bad that’s just completely unprofessional! Also the lady there was beyond rude. When she was doing my other nieces nails she wouldn’t even ask for her other hand as she was switching from the left hand to the right she would just reach her hand out and expect us to know what she was asking. She was also super upset that I said I called and ask how much this would cost and the guy tony said $45 for all which he misunderstood and it ended up not be that price. It evened up being $20 more! Do not go here it’s not worth the money! Will definitely be posting this across all social media platforms!

Debbie Deb Dont let the ratings fool you. I was visiting family and we decided to come here because of the reviews. I explained that I wanted an ombre on my nails and they acted like they knew what I wanted . I sat down and had a tech start on my nails. In the mean time the lady she just finished was having problems with her nails. They would not dry all the way and started cracking. This happens 3 times! So she was switching back and forth between us until someone else helped her on the 3rd time. As she continued to work on my nails it didnt seem like it was what I was wanting but figured it may turn out better when she was done. It did not. By the time she finished we were ready to get out of there. As soon as we got back to my Uncles house my nails started peeling. I was furious because the $$ I spent. I called back and spoke with Ken and he asked for me to come back. I went back the next day and I got him to just remove the hideous work the tech did the day before. Even though I am not completely happy with the 2nd time around it was way better than the previous. I have attached pictures of both. The purple and black was the 1st time around.

Stacy French I would not recommend. They rush and do not do what you ask. I wanted basic manicure with regular clear polish. The lady did clear gel. I don’t get nails done often, so just assumed doing what I asked until I paid out & so expensive. It took her less than 10 minutes, she was rude, my natural nails are not even and cost $30. Why would anyone want clear gel? I don’t like gel and prefer just natural nails. I could have got an acrylic set with colored gel for $40 if I was paying to get something done. So now I’m out $30 and have gel on that will ruin my nails when starts coming off.

Allison Hurst Great customer service! Our tech was very attentive and passionate about what she does. Her attention to detail and the skill set she has to execute the very detailed nails we wanted was remarkable. Highly recommend!

Lil Onez Dope Soul The Mexican chick, did mine and my daughter’s nails. I requested dip and was told only acrylic. My daughter ended up going somewhere else and having them redo her. $85 down the drain…. Service was not good, we won’t ever come back. The lady owner did an amazing job on my other daughter’s nails.

krisandrea dobbs Super nice faculty. Very clean but the technician was arrogant. And my nails cmae out easily breakable and uneven. I will be by there to ask if they can fix them. But what a pain when I live in the country and its not easy to find time. Also it took like 1.5 hours for a set. I dont think I will go back.

Lucille Fowler I love this salon! I like the dynamic of the people who work here. I always get excellent service. Its fast, but perfectly organized and thorough. The pedicures are lovely. I have never had an issue. I tell all my friends about it.When Im feeling generous with pampering myself , this is the first place I think of!

Buffy Duque When I asked to get a nail fixed thats when the attitude started and then I checked them to make sure the shellac got even it was over on my skin and he just filed it down. And he didnt put cuticle oil.

Kristi Sterling The first time I went to this nail shop, I was excited and did my research. I got to the shop around 6:30. The owner (I’m assuming) was very nice. He got me seated quickly, the guy who did my nails the first time seemed upset because he had to do my nails (guessing he was planning to be done for the day). He kinda had an attitude and I overlooked it, but he did an amazing job. The set that he had done lasted well past 3 weeks. I went back last night, hoping to have a better experience but that quickly faded. The owner again was nice and he greeted me but unfortunately he was tied up and couldn’t get to me. He had me sit at the end and wait. A lady came out to do my nails and again I received attitude while she was taking my previous set off. I was planning to get a set of dipped nails, once she removed the set, she tells me that I have to move to the guy who had just finished a customer because she had an appointment. Once her appointment came in, her attitude and mood completely changed. She was nice, she offered her client something to drink and was completely talkative. I was beside myself! Once the guy saw me sitting and waiting for him, he shook his head and was clearly upset because he had to do my nails. He rushed through getting my nails done and I stated several times that my nails were crooked. He claimed he would fix them, then told me it’s because my thumb nails are too big. If it wasn’t a problem last time with the other guy who did my nails, why was it a problem this time. My blood at that point was boiling. I was there in the shop for over 2hrs. He fixed my nails as best as he could but I shouldn’t have went through what I went through. Needless to say I will not come back!

Mae Teeerrific job! Even though I showed a difficult design out of the blue, Andy, the nail tech I had, did an amazing job half free styling designs on the spot. I needed prom nails the day before prom and he delivered! They complimented my dress tremendously and I have gotten A LOT of compliments since. The pedicure of was relaxing and the look served its purpose. The atmosphere is friendly and not intimidating. Super awesome place and will be coming back for sure!!

B Monroe Worst place to get acrylic toes done. They dont know what they doing. She made them so thick....looks very unnatural. Very disappointed because she was rushing. Will not recommend this place. I wasnt even asked what shape I wanted.

Philisha Hanes Andy and Whitney are now the new owners of this nail salon and it is so clean!! They have done mine and my mother’s nails for over 15 years now and we are so proud of them for finally owning their own place!! Go out and let them show you why we love them so much!!

Kamia Williams My boyfriend and I came early morning around 9 and we were stared at when we first came in for about 20-30 seconds before we even were spoke to about what service I wanted to get. Finally got my seated and my feet in water a waited for at least 15-20 min. No service. A couple came in and they serviced them right away. My boyfriend asked if they had an appointment and he stated yes. So you mean to tell me we waited 20 min and no one shared with us anything about an appointment. Then we got up to leave and all they shared was “sorry”. Also, when the couple originally came in they spoke to them right away and was like “you don’t have to sign in, your our VIP guest” in a joking manner. I’m not sure if it’s racial discrimination or what but I felt very uncomfortable.

Ventura Homes Walked in for a new set and man immediately shook head said no we are too busy for you without even trying to set an appointment. He was the only person in there. Super rude. Was hoping to find a new salon. Wont be back there

Rita Vaquera Sara is one of the best nail techs I have found in Lubbock. Genuinely cares about her customer and pays attention to detail and to what the customer wants. Not to mention, her nails are always long lasting!

Treana White I am EXTREMELY disappointed in my service here. I walked out spending 130.00 for amateur work. My gel has holes in it. It’s paint all over my toes, my finger nails are bulky and it’s embarrassing. They are horrendous and definitely over charging for the quality of work

I started going to Jackie 3 years ago and have never gone to another salon since. I will always recommend these ladies to family, friends & other individuals who ask. Jamie Needham I saw Crystal and I’ll be back for her. She was incredible. I’ve had my nails done in a bunch of different places inside of Lubbock and outside of the country. I’ve had sets that cost upwards of 500 done. This place did not disappoint for the price point. Crystal was incredibly kind and patient with me. I’m a little slow, so I don’t know how to make or keep up conversation. I just don’t have the faculties for it. But, she was so patient with me that I couldn’t get over it. I loved the vibe. I went in with a simple request. Colorful. It’s pride this month and I lost close friends in Pulse, which has an anniversary this month. I wanted nails that would show my love for those I don’t have with me anymore, and also serve as a “beacon” that I respect LGBTQIA+. My instructions were “French, but colors! Maybe a design.” Well, I got exactly what I asked for and shockingly everything was done by hand. Quickly too! I think I was only seated for 30 minutes. That woman is fierce! She helped me pick colors since I had no idea what I really wanted. That’s the extent of any direction I was told to go in though. And honestly, I appreciated it immensely. I have very hard to work with nails. Psoriatic arthritis makes my nail beds divot. The nails do come up quicker than they would on others. Not once did Crystal hit my cuticles with the dremmel or buff my skin though. Thats.. a new one for me. My hands are tiny. I didn’t expect to walk out of there without my skin ripped as always; but good god she was perfect. I didn’t even know she was done with the first hand until she told me to give her the other one. She says she specializes in chrome. So I’ll be going back to take her up on that. I love chrome, cat eyes, and hell, with how perfectly sized these nails are I can actually go longer. They’re usually the wrong size and hard to work with. But I’m shocked and in love with how beautiful and perfectly placed these are. She’s a golden one and I hope she stays at this place. I’ve only been here once but I never want to go anywhere else.

Sam Bartholomae I really wanted to like this place, the location is great, but the service was absolutely horrible. We came in a week before Christmas and we wanted a manicure and a pedicure. I had my two nieces with us and they were so excited for their first pedicure, they’re sisters so of course they wanted the same color but were told they can’t share the same color (even though they were seated next to each other) and that they needed to pick separately. Not a big deal even though it didn’t make sense. After my pedicure was over, I was ready to move to a table to get a manicure and the lady told me to get up, but didn’t tell me where to go. She moved on to the next person and when I asked her where I needed to go, she just ignored me. Finally, I sat down to get a manicure and the lady was incredibly rude. She seemed so put out and anytime I tried making conversation with her she was short. My nails ended up being crooked and the base color didn’t match my skin tone at all (I did French tip) and they were thick. When I pointed it out she just ignored me and moved on to the next person. I will never go back to this nail salon.

Bella Swannn I wanted to like this place so bad, I honestly thought I found my “go to”. However my nail experience was so bad :( this is what I wanted and this is what I got. They were so thick but it’s was weird because they broke off from the tips. I went back to get them fixed and they wanted to charge me $30 half of the price I had paid before ($60). I simply said no because I would have spent a total of $140. $50 from my pedicure the day before and $60 for the nails and if I wanted them fix $30. It sucks because they were the sweetest people ever and they did really good on my pedicure. But the nails and customer service is just horrible. I don’t understand how I would have to pay extra for a service that simply wasn’t good at all. Of course I have fault in it because I didn’t say anything before leaving, I just hate to be one of those people. I really wanted to love it so bad!

Micheal Williams As a man, I was always bashful about pedicures. Never again. I had my very first pedicure here and it was awesome. I felt absolutely pampered and my feet were so smooth and fragrant afterward. The lady that treated me, though I felt a bit of a language barrier, was very chill with me. She even recommend the White Tea and Ginger pedicure when I was being indecisive and it was a good call. My favorite part was definitely the hot coal massage near the end. They were even cool with me not wanting nail polish, which made me very comfortable. The $65 price tag wasnt bad either. Ill definitely reappear for another treatment.

Dani Back-Miller One of the worst experiences Ive ever had. My siblings had been to this place several times taking my elderly mother. Nothing irregular about those experiences. This time however was a nightmare. My youngest sister and I took my mother. Rushed us picking out polish, poor selection, and it was like a race with these people to see who could get done the fastest. Sloppy, sloppy jobs. Did not push my cuticles back & pretended to rub my feet and calves. What was supposed to be a soothing and relaxing time for my elderly mother & all they did was make her anxious, stressed out, and upset. Put the wrong polish on moms toes after I told them twice what to use. My mothers fingernails look like my 3 year old granddaughter painted them. The employees were rude & acted like they couldnt care less that we were spending our money at their business. My first and last time there.
