Sarah Smith I love this family practice here I was going to the hospital clinic but didn’t like the service there or how they handle their patients. I accidentally thought this clinic does Walk-ins unfortunately they don’t. But the receptionist was really nice and explained to me how they set up appointments for their new patients. When I went in for my appointment. The receptionist (I believe her name was Sarah) verified all my information and she was really nice. Nurses were really caring and kind. And Doctor Billings was very kind and understanding. He answer any questions I had for him. He was very helpful. Overall my experience here was great.

Jessica Hornsby Nice clinic especially for Alpine, however to be seen anytime soon. They never keep open slots for walk-ins. The soonest I have ever been able to get an appointment has been five days out and still it would be in Marfa.

David Kowal While I like my doctor, this practice as a whole can be awful to deal with. There seems to be NO way to communicate directly with your doctor, beside leaving a message with unreliable receptionists. Over the last two weeks I have found it impossible to renew needed prescriptions, presumably because my doctor is on leave...arent there provisions in place to accommodate this vital need....evidently NOT. Unacceptable!!!!

Dawn Camp Firstly when I made the appointment and explained WHY I wanted to be seen, the receptionist should have advised me to go elsewhere, as the doctor does not treat people with my condition...So I wasted 2 weeks of valuable time that I could have found a doctor that is available to “treat” my condition and did not have “an agenda” of his own...When I went to my appointment I was hopeful to find a “real doctor” instead I left feeling defeated and put down for Who I am...and it’s obvious that so far, there aren’t any doctors here in Alpine that I will be able to trust...Dr. Escovar was a great doctor and I miss him dearly...

Robert Earl I have had numerous problems with the doctors there about prescription drugs for my wife and myself. After a particularly irritating issue, I made an urgent appointment with another doctor regarding my ongoing osteoarthritic pain issues that had been misprescribed. I was shunted to a "Dr." Billings, whose first words to me were that he "did not do pain management". This "doctor" went on to NOT listen to my medical and physical history and "prescribed" over the counter drugs that would have cost me over $300 monthly. This AFTER I have paid Medicare for 47 years to get my prescriptions paid by Medicare. Billings went on to ignore my telling him that I work 6-8 hours daily, seven days a week doing construction work and told me to "exercise" and use "heat"..... it is 103 degrees outside now, how much more heat does he think I need?? This "man" is a danger to every Senior in the area and should find more compatible employment, like the fry station at the are MacDonalds, IF, he speaks enough Spanish!!! Furthermore and most concerning, is the fact that I have phoned the PHCS administration TWO TIMES and NO ONE, repeat, NO ONE has bothered to return my calls! This is intolerable. My best recommendation is to find a legitimate clinic and avoid this one at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
