Remia Henry It may be a new building, but it’s still the same VA. they don’t ever answer the phone. And the people at the front desk threaten your benefits against you if you say you can’t make that appointment.
Small backstory
My six month old has been in and out of the hospital since he was born. I’ve also been hospitalized myself.
And I’m also pregnant with my second child.
Tried to explain that to them and they don’t care.
Even though I told the Front lady that I was pregnant, said that I needed to do an x-ray regardless. she proceeded to tell me that I needed to provide proof that I was pregnant. As if my belly isn’t improving enough. This is why I go to my civilian doctor. Because these people do not care.
Why the hell would I want them to touch my child? If they’re threatening my benefits against me. How do I know that my unborn child is going to be safe in the hands of these so-called medical professionals?
This facility is such an unprofessional place
I suggest going to another VA hospital guys
These people don’t care

Chris Garcia Where to even begin with this. I work about 30 minutes away and needed to make an appointment. I called and was put on hold (of course) and about 5 minutes go by and I thought who would win if I just drove over there. So I got in my car and started driving to the clinic (again, about 30 minutes away). Long story short, I managed to get there, speak to someone, book an appointment all while still being on hold.
So I finally get to my appointment and I always laugh because (like the military) they ask I show up at least 15 minutes early. Much like the military I hurried and wait... For about 40 minutes after my appointment time. Funny enough, I have enough time to write this, check for spelling errors, and post this while I continue waiting for my doctor to show up. The front check in ladies are really quiet and just seem to not really like their job unfortunately. I used to do front check in at clinics so I kind of get it, but at least fake it till you make it. The nurses were the only reason why Im giving this a 2-start rating.

Lacie Bosley This location is absolute trash. You can never get anyone to answer the phones. No one response to emails or faxes in urgent matters of their patients. If someone does answer the phone, they are not competent enough to simply search a last name. I feel so bad for our Vets that have to put up with this crap. Shame on you all.

Angelo Falto Waiting in the lobby for my basic lab work for over two and a half hours...and still yet not been seen. The reputation of the terrible service at the VA is definitely unbelievable, for real.
They moved their operation to a larger location which offered no new improvement, other than the stale, irrational government rationale.
Cancelled my appointment in Denton and transferring my file over to Plano.

Joshua Aguilera This building looks like it used to be a shut down dollar general. Medical equipment looks like they bought it second hand from Mexico. I can hear through the walls, people urinating in restroom. What’s the point of having appointments if I have consistently had to wait about an hour after said appointment every time. I’ve had to request change of doctor because the first one I got was foreigner and was trying to convince me that I was lying about pain and that I was actually all better now. Texas is supposed to be the best state for veterans; even podunk Kansas has better clinics than this.
1000% better building, but still many areas that need improvement. Answering phone calls is one major issue. I’m lucky if I’m on hold for over 30 minutes, many times I get hung up on repeatedly.
