Bethany McKerlie I’ve been seeing Allie close to about 1.5 - 2 years now, every 3-4 months for a balayage touch-up and haircut. Every time is such an amazing experience! She knows what I want & when I’m not sure, she gives me her professional opinion which I trust with my whole heart. Trusting someone to do your hair, especially when color is involved gives me anxiety so when I found Allie, I knew my search was over. I feel like a new person every time I step out of the salon! I completely forgot to do a before pic but I can tell you I had dark hair before where my previous balayage had grown out. During this visit I got curtain bangs, layers for depth &, balayage. I have thick hair so most of my appointments run 4-6 hours depending on what needs to get done. I can’t do a review based on the scheduling system since my appointments are always in advance. I always schedule my next appointment after that current hair appointment. If you’re looking for a hair salon, the vibes and atmosphere of this place is wonderful. If Allie has a spot open, I highly recommend you book her!

Amy Blichfeldt Highly recommend getting your hair done by Patrice!!!! Ive taken my mom here twice now. Shes gone to Patrice and both times Im very impressed. My mom has Parkinsons and is very slow. but Patrice is so kind and patient with her. Patrice is very sweet, and she does a great job. Her highlights and color look amazing and my mom always leaves so happy. Thank you Patrice!

bridget orellana I was looking for a new place to get a hair cut and I booked a hair cut with Allie. I had seen the same hairstylist for 6 years that someone knew was something I was nervous about. Allie was so personable and did an amazing job where I felt at ease when I left!

Stephanie Heather I wound up at Hayden Hair after two very bad encounters with Cloud 9 after relocating to Texas. The difference in salons is so much better! My review will be based on these “strip mall” style salons that seem to be the standard for the area. I have not seen a high end in FM. When you come in you are always greeted and offered something while you wait. Everyone uses the same products so it looks cleaner. I understand some stylists prefer to rent chairs and have their own products but if my stylist isn’t available I like to know the same products are used in the salon. My stylist is Ryleigh. She is the the reason I chose the salon based on her social media. I thought her work was lovely and so I brought her pictures to see if she could correct what had happened at Cloud 9. She’s a very warm and kind person but also a good and honest stylist who will let you know what is obtainable and the path to getting there. The only issues I’ve had are that sometimes what we say will happen at the next appointment aren’t written in the book which is a small communication disconnect but she has always managed to make time to make it right (I always have a planner with me that I write in). If you’re looking for a stylist Ryleigh is fantastic but all the hair I’ve seen done there looks good when finished. I appreciate when the other stylists are friendly and they often are. It’s a nice place.

Sarah Kim Very disappointed with my experience at Hayden Hair. I had been coming to Lexi a few times now with a goal of getting my hair to a dimensional med-light brown and maintaining it. I naturally have dark brown hair, but my hair was already double-bleached and dyed a medium brown from another salon before my first appointment with Lexi. This last appointment, I was scheduled for a cut, partial highlight, and glaze to get my hair to a lighter brown since my roots were growing out a bit. After showing her my reference photo and explaining I wanted my hair to be a lighter brown, we switched from a glaze to a hair dye per her advice. After the appointment, my hair was a DARK brown, the same as my natural color. I noted the darkness to which she promised it would lighten to the reference photo after 4-6 washes. Although skeptical, I put my trust in her and paid and went on my way. The dark color remained even after 7 washes (3.5 weeks), so I contacted the salon since the color never lightened to the reference like I was told it would. I asked if I could come in and have it fixed to be more like the reference photo, or at least have my next service discounted (I did not ask for a refund!) since I paid a lot of money to not get what I want and basically had my hair reverted back to my natural color. (Almost $300 after tip.) I was told they wouldn’t fix it or discount the next service, but would have to pay full price for another service since I contacted the salon past a week after my appointment, even though I was told to wait 4-6 washes before seeing the desired results. TLDR; asked to go a lighter brown, and left the salon with dark brown (almost black) hair that is much darker than what I even came in with. Salon will not fix their mistake.

Helena Lynch Boone Attempting to post this again because it was taken down. People need to know the truth about this salon, and how can they if he takes down every negative review he gets? If I could give this negative stars, I would. My mother was treated absolutely atrociously at this hair salon. She arrived back home with a completely crooked haircut. One side of her hair was shorter than the other. When my mother asked him to fix it, he told her she was being difficult and that it was not crooked, then proceeded to kick her out of the salon. How dare you? Luckily, she didn’t pay for her haircut. How could I, a 24 year old woman with no hair experience, see that her hair is completely crooked, but a man who is supposed to be trained in this ability can’t??? Ramon, you are a fraud. You do not know how to cut hair, and I can guarantee that none of our family or friends will ever be going to your salon.

Victoria Schwertner Ramon is awesome! He is so knowledgeable about styling, but more importantly how to care for your hair long term. I learned more about caring for my hair and hair health in one haircut than I have learned at any previous hair appointments combined. He was fast, efficient, and the cost of the service was an incredible value. No need to find a high end salon in the city.

Amy Weber Ramon is amazing, he did my hair way back when at his old salon on 3040, he even cut my hair when I had cancer and it was falling out, and he helped me grow it back. Hes a compassionate person who loves to make his customers feel good and reach their goals.

Trini highlights my hair blonde & removes all the red undertones! It’s beautiful! She’s fast & efficient. Tony cuts my hair perfectly every time! I get highlights, root color, deep conditioning treatment, cut & style. My average time in the salon is 2 hours. And, my hair looks amazing Every Time! Their pricing is reasonable & a lot cheaper than salons in the Highland Village area. Tony Cao Salon is unlike any salon I’ve ever visited. I can make appt at the last minute, my hair Always looks fabulous & everyone is super friendly. Tony, Trini & their sons work together as a team to provide efficient service to their clients. I’ve been a client for 6 years. And, always had excellent service! They’re the best!!

Alicia Lindeman They did an amazing job on my hair. Day one, I only got it cut, which was a very good job. Day 2 I got my hair colored and roots touched up along with another color after the first color. After 3 hours, my hair turned out amazing. The stylist and other staff are amazing and very polite and friendly. I highly recommend going here.

Jason Bishop I have been going to Tony Cao salon for 14 years. Absolute best at platinum blonde. Also best hair cut. Full highlight, toner and cut with style in 2 hours everytime. Can always just walk in or call an hour ahead of time. They work so quick and are consistent everytime. I am very particular about my color and they pull off my platinum blonde perfectly everytime. The environment is a fast pace, no nonsense feel, so just be prepared for that, but the thought of a highlight and cut taking more than 2 hours sounds horrifying to me. Tony Cao salon really is the best, especially with blondes. It costs me $185, but I only need to go 4 times a year, so its completely worth it.

Savannah Mitcham Rafael and staff always take amazing care of me! The scalp massage feels like those expensive places , but Blo blow goes above and beyond. As someone with a physical disability who struggles to do my own hair this helps me feel good and confident. No matter what occasion weekly blow outs, weddings or first dates and anything in between you will walk out feeling beautiful!

Melissa Wells This venue single handledly ruined my wedding day because my bridesmaids were 17 minutes late for their appointment. 9 bridesmaids, both mothers and a couple cousins boarded a bus to what was supposed to be a nice experience at Blo. Many emails back and forth confirmed that half would sit for hair while the other half would sit for makeup then they would switch. There was a tight two hour window for this and Blo was confident they were right for the job. An hour after everyone was supposed to arrive back at my venue I called the salon to figure out where the girls were and found out that Because my bridesmaids were 17 minutes late for their appointment due to traffic and natural delays in the wedding day, Blo decided to take walk ins during the blocked off time for my wedding party. A handful of the girls, including the mother of the groom hadn’t even been helped at the time of my call which was an hour before my ceremony that I’m finding all of this out. Blo called during the time the girls were delayed and spoke directly to me. They never once explained they would take other guests or that our girls would be delayed. The end result was I didn’t get a single photo with my bridesmaids, the mother of the groom missed out on family photos and my makeup was ruined due to the complete meltdown I had. Many of the girls were upset over the quality of the work that was done as well. I’d advise everyone to find a different salon, especially if you’re a wedding party.

Fon Doster Blo Bar charged my cc for months for the membership then when I asked to pause it to catch up, they cancelled all of my unused sessions after 90 days. Went in just now thinking I was using one of my 20+ visits, I paid extra for additional massage and she massaged for four minutes. Nope. Shop local. You’ll be happier.

Melissa K Jessica is a magician! My hair went from huge poofy mess to beautiful and sleek! I would 100% recommend her! She spends time to make sure that you love the results and is so easy to talk to; I feel like I’ve known her for years!

Cynthia Geis I wasn’t able to use this business. So I’ve been trying to reach her for a week. Have called multiple times, it rings and rings and goes to voice mail saying to send her a text. I have sent her 4 texts over the past week with no response. Had to finally contact Groupon to ask for a refund. Terrible customer service. If she can’t do my hair fine, at least respond.
