Tara Lewis Dr. Max was thorough when I visited the ER. The attendant. RN was very thorough as well. They were kind. They really took their time to get questions answered and an understanding of what I was going through. So that’s first and four. Most important that it wasn’t rushed or quick to diagnose or miss diagnose me. I am thankful that my experience was well and that I came out healthy, just like I went in.

Mark Greer I had to visit Total Care on NYE not feeling great. Walked out feeling fine and experienced the best service I have EVER received. The staff was top notch! They were so friendly from the first face I saw to all of the nurses. In the event I or anyone in my family needs an urgent care visit, we will always go to this location. Special thanks to Lynette, Jenn and Kaitlyn. You guys are awesome!

Manasseh M What an amazing visit to this clean and beautiful health facility. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Sandy at the front was very helpful and welcoming considering our late night visitation. Nurse Tara was so nice, personable, and caring, the Radiologist Oscar was helpful in sharing what he was doing and made me feel good about what they needed to do. Dr. Martens, was really down to earth and very helpful! I really do recommend coming this clean and familial atmosphere for your needs!!

Ima Petion Amazing staff. I felt heard and well taken care of. Dr. Belanger was amazing and so attentive. Deryn and Tammy were so sweet and patient. The entire staff was kind and helpful. I wish I could take them back Florida with me. So please be kind to them when you visit. This team actually cares for human beings.

Chris Tavares I was a little reluctant to visit this ER, as I wasn’t sure if the care would be the same as attending a full blown hospital. I am so glad that I made the decision to go! This is a true ER in all sense of the word. Great Nurses, Doctors, everyone was amazing. It felt so different from other visits to the ER. I wasn’t a number, I was a person, they used my name, listened, and showed true empathy. They were fast, but didn’t rush me out. They spent the time asking questions, and listening! Everyone was great and professional. Thank you so much!

madina sahiby Disappointed with the experience. We arrived early and completed paperwork, only to be asked to redo everything inside—very inefficient. The exam rooms have little to no privacy; you can hear other patients’ conversations. The environment was also noisy. We were told a doctor would see us, but ol nurse practitioner showed up. Overall, it felt like a waste of time. Would not recommend.

DORIS JEAN HARRIS I entered the building and I was greeted very well and helped me tremendously. When I met with Dr. Bapna ,she is so refreshing to have a doctor who is concerned about me as a patient Dr. Banana showed concerned about because I came to office without my potable without oxygen I am so very glad that I chose her as my primary physician. I would refer her and the clinic to anyone who needed a good doctor Mrs Doris J Harris

Gagan Simak One of the worst experiences ever. I did my annual here with Dr Acharya - did all the tests the doctor asked. When I asked for a break up for insurance covered vs. my share, I was told this is mostly covered by insurance. Now, 5 months later, they sent me a statement for $500+ dollars stating that none of the tests or the visit were covered. They are a rip off. Do your diligence before you book your appointment.

C Choi My first visit with Dr Ruby John, she was very thorough in asking questions regarding my health history and very attentive to my concerns. I’m am very encouraged and hopeful to reach my health goals under her care! I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a doctor who listens and takes your health concerns seriously!

Vishnuvardhan P I had disappointing experience with this doctors office. I went in for a CBP blood test in the third week of January and had scheduled a follow-up appointment for the next week. Unfortunately, I was informed just a day before the appointment that the doctor would not be available at the scheduled time. They offered a morning slot which was not feasible for me, and the next available appointment was not until March - two months after my initial blood draw. Additionally, there was a mistake with my medication refills. The prescription sent to CVS was for a lower dosage than required, which I did not realize until after taking it for a couple of months. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, they simply advised me to take two pills instead of one. The staff and nurses seem to struggle with managing appointments effectively, as I have witnessed other patients appointments being rescheduled during my visits. Furthermore, the doctor consistently arrives late, resulting in a wait time of 30 to 60 minutes. Overall, I find the level of professionalism and attention to detail at this office to be lacking.

Ron Ragan Wow! Honestly best experience weve had with both an ER and an ICU. Unfortunately my wife has significant chronic conditions that have resulted in ER visits and ICU stays at most area hospitals. Without question, this was the best experience. Excellent communication and respect from nursing staff, physicians and all support staff. Hope to never need these services again but this will be our destination if that does occur.

Kris Miller I thought I was just sick with the "stomach bug or flu". Well it turns out I was in such a bad shape they got me in and in and took amazing care of me. Didnt judge me just helped me like how ALL ER/Urgent Care should be. Staff was amazing and tender. I will definitely be coming back here over any urgent care who wanted payment up front without even seeing you and denied seeing you.

Danielle Dupont While visiting family in Dallas my mother got sick and we had to take her to Medical City Frisco ER. They were able to triage her quickly and within 15 minutes she had labs drawn and a IV started getting fluids .Shortly after that we saw a physician and within the first hour of being there she had a CT ordered and had got pain meds for the severe stomach pain she was in. She did have to get admitted for observation and we had a room ready in one of the towers within a hour and a half of being there The amazing care my mother received didnt stop at the ER it continued once she was admitted to the floors and continued throughout her duration of being there. I highly suggest Medical City Frisco for any and all medical needs for you or your loved ones. I want to say Thank you Medical City Frisco ER and Hospital staff for the wonderful work you all do.

Vickie A From the time I arrived (via ambulance) until I was placed in a room upstairs the care was absolutely excellent. Everyone who came in to the room - (quite a few) was cordial, efficient and caring. I was kept informed of the "What & Why" for everything they were doing.

kathleen rainey I was pretty incoherent when I arrived by ambulance but felt very well attended to and was relieved to be admitted to the hospital for additional care and tests. The nurses and doctor explained everything they were doing which easily gained my trust and confidence in their care for me.

Kimberly I should have known when they didnt call after receiving our referral from the doctor that the negative experience would continue. I called to schedule and apparently nobody has ever tried to get an appointment with Dr. Shumon Dhar who was under the age of 18. They were all confused and had me on hold for 45 minutes as they went back and forth to try and get an answer on whether he would actually see a teenager. The notes for the referral were not detailed so I had given them further information previously and they said they would pass this to the doctor and call me back so that I didnt have to sit on hold even longer. Well, its been over 2 weeks and Ive heard nothing. If you expect any sort of decent assistance or follow-up this apparently is not the place.

Amukta yarlagadda "I had an extremely disappointing experience with this hospitals staff. I reached out to schedule an appointment with Dr. Mark Peters for MFM consultation. They initially asked me to send my previous medical records, stating that the doctor would review them and decide if he could accept me as a patient. They promised to get back to me within two weeks, but I had to call them weekly for updates. After three weeks, they finally informed me that Dr. Peters was not accepting my case. They suggested I try scheduling an appointment at another location. When I contacted the suggested location, they also asked for my records, saying they needed two weeks to review them. After two weeks, they requested additional old test results. Even after I promptly provided those, they took another two weeks to inform me that the hospital near me was not accepting new patients and referred me to a location over an hour away. This entire process was extremely frustrating and a waste of over two months of my time. The staff showed no empathy or sense of responsibility, repeatedly delaying and leaving me in limbo. Their poor communication and lack of respect for patients’ time are completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone seeking timely and compassionate care."

Maggie Perrotta My husband and I had our first baby here 12/20/22. Northlake is our provider and the mother/baby unit is outstanding! I had a c section and stayed in the unit for 3 nights. It was equivalent to having my baby in a 5 star all inclusive resort. The aesthetics of the suite was very modern and homey, stocked with all the toiletries and amenities we needed. We had excellent meals, snacks and cookies while also being professionally cared for by the staff as if we were family. We felt especially looked after by the nursing staff, Robin, Rozina, Raquel, Jill & Emma. They were our instant family and amazing educators, as this is our first experience taking care of a newborn. We can’t imagine going anywhere else the next time our family grows.

Mihir Shah They would rather have veterans suffer or die than do anything to help schedule an appointment, even with a doctor’s referral, which they claimed they never received despite our clinic faxing it multiple times. The person I’ve spoken to the most was Shanika when I called to schedule. She is very impolite, and her customer service is horrible. Ive also had similar issues with others in the same department. My mother-in-law from overseas urgently needed attention, and her military insurance is in-network with UTSW. Its been 5 consecutive business days since I contacted UTSW to schedule, but they keep telling me the referral hasnt gone through. They repeatedly said it takes up to 72 hours to receive it, but even after 96 business hours, nothing has been received. The referral was provided to us on Monday during our clinic visit, and it was stated that she needed to be seen within 7 days. The clinic assured me all 6 times I called to follow up that the records had been faxed multiple times to UTSW. I was even provided with two different fax numbers from UTSW after calling multiple times, and the clinic sent the referral to both numbers. How can a fax possibly take 72 hours to receive? It’s been over 100 hours, and still nothing. I would definitely not recommend this place. I called my clinic to provide another referral. I can’t believe what I just experienced dealing with such an incompetent medical center.

C A culture of medical neglect permeates this place. During my stay I witnessed fellow patients repeatedly given food that they were allergic to or couldnt eat for various health reasons. The social workers were fantastic, but the group therapy sessions often crossed the line into toxic positivity. They also lock your room after breakfast while giving you almost nothing to do. Now heres the worst part. My nurse practitioner routinely confused me with other patients, and even prescribed medication based on indications that I dont have. Im honestly scared for patients who are admitted to this place, because the staff dont know what theyre doing. Its only a matter of time before someone gets the wrong pill.

Tom N. David(social worker) I cannot believe you manipulated me into going to sojourn Center for outpatient care….The only good part of my stay at medical city, mental health and wellness-Frisco were the nurses and Techs! If you care about your loved ones-do not send them to this facility. This was hands-down, the worst experience of my life. I checked myself into a mental health facility due to severe trauma and abuse. The referral received by my social worker (David) from Medical City Mental Health and Wellness-Frisco was hands-down the worst referral ever received for extended care. I willingly went to both medical city as well as Sojourn for outpatient care. Unfortunately, I was lied to and manipulated throughout the process. I’m not one to write many reviews, you can look at my profile. However, Mental health care is extremely important and adults, parents and young kids should be guided in the right direction. When deciding where to go for IOP/PHP care. This was not a safe space. I wouldn’t extensively review a company unless it was absolutely necessary. This is mental healthcare we’re talking about… This is an honest review from an individual that has been through it all. Again, this is purely to help those who are considering outpatient care at Sojourn Center. Reach out to me if you have questions or concerns via google. I don’t want others to go through the same thing. David should be fired for doing this to a patient. PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE GOING.

Stacey Montgomery Unkind, uncaring, and disrespectful are some words to describe the doctor, nurses, and techs working at this facility. The lack of communication and consistency in care is astounding. If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not go to this facility and if you truly care for your loved ones, you wont send them here. Please also note that they respond to all reviews here with the same canned response. Further proof of their inability to care or take responsibility.

Veronica K My niece is currently in the facility involuntarily and she works for the state of Texas. I’m scared for her life. During our calls I can hear staff members being rude to her, laughing, and giving invalid information. She’s been giving medication that she’s never been on against her request. My entire family has been calling the facility with several staff members advising us that we’ll be included in meetings and medical plans. Every meeting we’ve received a time on has been missed. The patient advocates that we’ve been directed to have only been stalling. The entire staff are not equipped and trained to run such a facility. My sisters and niece witnessed a violent patient attack her mother and the staff left my family with that patient putting their lives in danger. I would encourage anyone with loved ones that have been at this facility at any point to seek an attorney and pursue all legal actions against the entire facility! The patient advocate is NOT advocating for the patients. I’ve been recording and keep documentation since Tuesday. Keep reporting this facility it’s scary to know that they’ll put anything in your file and give medication to sedate. My nieces file says she does not have a support system yet her mother and sister have been present the entire time, her aunt flew in and has been present, her oldest sister flew in! Her support system has no limit. My niece was simply stressed with the anniversary of her grandmother passing which is completely normal and this facility has noted that she has schizophrenia. How would a supervisor for the Department of Texas be allowed to hold a position for almost a decade with no disciplinary actions or documentation of a serious mental health condition. I’ve never been so scared for an individuals well being than I am today. Anyone in this facility is not safe. Violent patients are being mixed with no violent patients. 72 hour holds go immediately to a 7 day medical hold. These things are occurring for financial gain. This facility is draining insurance companies and families. Destroying lives that they’re suppose to be helping. PTSD would be the least of your worries attending this facility

Theresa OSheaamstutz It is dirty beyond belief totally disgusting! 95% of the staff are rude disrespectful and treat you like you’re stupid! They have no sympathy or empathy for the patients. They are lazy and the rules change on a daily basis. They show no dignity and I would never go there again or send anyone I know. That place should be shut down!
