Maggien Bagwell I honestly cannot say enough GREAT things about Jewel & the girls at JT Hair Studio! I have very thin, fine hair and went to see Jewel looking for a confidence boost. When I say Jewel is an absolute magician, I mean it! I have never loved my hair more and her work always gives me the confidence boost I need! ALL of the staff is super sweet and helpful. If you are looking for a new salon, I absolutely recommend going to see Jewel and the girls at JT!

Nicole Archual Do not use this salon for extensions. Used Andrea M. Paid a total of $2300. $1300 for Bellami infinity wefts and $1000 for install. Hair was uneven and bead technique was poor. After a few days, wefts were coming loose. Andrea had me come back in and "fix" the issues. However, after less than 2 weeks after that, beads were falling out and hair was barely secured. I went back in and she stated this was "normal hair growth." In total, the extensions were in 3 weeks when this photo was taken. I requested a refund after giving her several opportunities to correct the install to which she replied "all sales are final." I tried to find a solution with the owner Jewel, but even after admitting that this was Andreas first time installing these extensions, she couldnt provide an adequate solution. I went to another salon and had a different stylist look at them and she was horrified by Andreas technique. She removed the extensions and re-installed them. I havent had any issues since, and wefts are still very secure. JT Hair salon promotes a "luxurious experience," instead I wasted $1,000 for extension install that didnt even last 3 weeks due to poor technique and lack of experience. I was left completely mortified.

summer morgan Teresa has been doing my hair and my daughters since 2019. We have always been completely happy with the services we have received with her beginning July 2019, and since becoming an owner shortly after that, her services have only gotten better! My daughter gets hair cuts and now gets toner to darken underneath and it is stunning! I have gotten everything from cuts, color, highlights, Brazillian blowouts, hand tied extensions, wefts, and now tape in extensions, and I cant tell you how happy I am every 5 weeks when I go into the salon! I love HAIR day! Teresa always recommends what is best for my hair and my daughters too. Jewel & the other staff at the salon are bright and cheerful and they too want what is best for their clients and their hair. If you are looking for a wonderful, modern, stylish salon that you can feel great about yourself when they are done with your hair...JT Hair Studio is the place to go:-)

Layce Farmer Tina, Lauren, and Nichole are absolutely amazing. They are so sweet and get the job you want done. I highly suggest this place to EVERYONE needing a cut and color.

Megan Frick I never had a bad experience till the new owner arrived she did my hair last week and it was uneven and her customer service was bad never going back glad I found where my hair stylist went I will never go back again I hate to see that place go down hill so fast

Liz CR Melissa has been my stylist for almost a year now and she has done an amazing job every time. I looked at her work on Facebook Hair by Melissa Swafford when I wanted to bleach my hair for the first time and it was exactly what I was looking for!

Shelly Barrios Melissa has been my stylist for ovee 4 years. She does a fabulous job - asking questions, listening to my concerns, and taking her time. I get lots of compliments on my hairstyle. I highly recommend her!

Stephanie Sherman Tiffany was my tech for a while. I simply suggested to fix the colors on my nails to save her more work and she told me to find a new nail tech that she cold no longer help me. I left with my nails looking horrible! I have never been treated so poorly in my life for trying to help keep her from having to do extra work! I was being nice. Like the old saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished. I will never go here or recommend this place to anyone! EVER!!!

Michelle Dixson Melissa is my hair stylist and she is the absolute best there is. I love her work! ❤️ she always does an amazing job.

Jenna Gautreaux I had Melissa as my stylist. I had never dyed my hair before so I showed her a picture and whenever she would discuss the hair or ask a question I would say whatever you do just make it look like the picture- I don’t know any technical terms- so please just this. I told Melissa I was not happy with my hair and she said it was exactly what I had asked for but if I wanted to I could come back and pay for another session. They were very adamant they do not give refunds. Finally Melissa said she would fix it but was still forceful that she had done what the picture had showed so I obviously didn’t trust her to “fix it”.

Nayeli Sanchez Have been going to this beauty salon for more than 5 years and I have to be honest they get better and better and greater with time at first I only went for eyebrow wax now I go for haircuts cavitation radio frequency treatment to get my nails done and many other services they have really polite people working theyre always having their customers laughing always worrying about their customers always giving their customers the best services. I shower 2 to 3 times a day I washed dishes all day long I clean every day I have kids at home and not one nail has given me a problem not one has lifted it all the nails look like they were just put on today. You really need to go try out this Salon 100 percent recommended

D Collins I just got my hair butchered and walked out looking like a peacock. The original person I made my appointment with apparently was not there so another stylist was assigned to do my hair. The original stylist I selected had over 18 years experience which is why I chose her. This new stylist Hevin i found out is fresh out of cosmetology school after doing a little research. I cried going to my truck and immediately put my scarf on my head. So disappointed, i will never go back. Hoping to find the original stylist so she can fix my hair. Apparently they let people with no experience cut peoples hair....stay far away.

Ebony Beauty Went in looking a mess and came out an hour and a half later looking a bigger mess. $75 for a silk press. No product was used, only when my hair was washed and conditioned. I was sat under the hair dryer with no heat protectant or product. And again, my hair was flat ironed with NO heat protectant. I got home and brushed my hair into a ponytail. Absolutely horrible. I still tipped but I’m so pissed. I get silk presses often and this was NOT a silk press. It was just a wash and dry with flat irons. I wasn’t even offered a trim. My hair was so dull and lifeless I could cry. That stylist will not be back in my head !!! If you don’t know how to do a silk press why agree to do one when obviously you have no experience doing them OR you just don’t know how to do hair in general.

Cindy Riley Wouldnt answer the phone to see if they take walk-ins, wouldnt acknowledge me when I was standing at the counter despite one working on hair in the chair nearest me, so I just walked out. Ill go somewhere else.

Brandon Graham Worse manager very lazy and does not return a customer call regarding a compliant , leaves the customer on hold for 15 min to never come to the phone. I was over charged for services I did not receive that day and it was never addressed. The stylist ruined my hair for the holidays plus I had to redo my own hair after paying them a harm and leg to screw it up. The company has a listing price for services for the stylist to follow. Yet they allow a entry level stylist to make up her own price is not right. I had the same service done a week before that and was charged according to their list price. Following week i am charged whatever they feel like. Then at check out they hound you for tips. I am sorry I dont tip for dishonesty and bad service. Dont waste your time and money at this dump.

LaToya Jones Tonya Castillo is not good at all. She left my hair a hot, wet mess. And tried to overcharged even though my hair was a hot mess. The store manager did help the situation. The salon manager was no help. They tried to gaslight me.

Jenni Brown I cannot speak for the other stylist in the salon, but I can speak of my experience with Tim Brasfield and the salon itself. Do yourself a HUGE favor and do not let Tim do anything with your hair! Prior to Saturday afternoon I had, key word is had, natural curly hair that was almost to my waistline. After a short amount of time in Tim’s chair, I now have chopped, “Rachel from Friends” (his words not mine for describing his trimming technique) short, layered, hideous hair. I get angry every time I look at it and there is nothing worse than hating how you look. It looks as if I took scissors that were not sharp, and without knowing a damn thing about cutting hair, cut my own hair. If I am being honest, it would probably look better! I’m not sure how a trim went so wrong other than Tim clearly didn’t listen to his client. As a first-time client, I was a little put off that he didn’t remember my name at check in, he commented that he "was so glad I came in like I did". I came in straight from work with a messy bun. Tim claiming to be an expert stylist, used a comb initially on my hair, NEVER have I used a comb on my curls, after shampooing he wasn’t gentle about combing my hair for the second time. Tim raved about his use of European products, after he was sure to tell me that my shampoo and conditioner (Joico) choice is second tier, yet I can purchase his lavish European products on Amazon. Likely counterfeit. I could go on, but I think you get the idea that this was an AWFUL experience. I must say in hindsight that my anxiety was spot on, and I am beyond REGRETFUL that I allowed this so-called stylist to do anything with my hair. And I use the word stylist very loosely. As for the salon of which he rents space, prepare yourself for the smell when you first walk in. It has a stench of cigarette/cigar smoke. I’m sure this is from the cigar bar next door but at any rate it is unpleasant. The salon decor is not as sophisticated as you might expect given the vibe that is trying to be conveyed. I will go as far as to say that it is somewhat juvenile with a Western Bohemian twist. Bottom line, between Tim Scissorhands and the salon being mediocre, I would definitely go someplace else.
