The Best 7 Hair Salons in Sugar Land, Fort Bend (part 4)

Jeena Philip Hair came out great. My stylist was patient, kind and listened to what I wanted. I have gone to dry bar a few times. This time I was disappointed with the lack of using all the good products. I like when they use the WOW product and the liquid glass sealant serum for all the flyaways and baby hairs. They did not use either this time so all my baby hairs were sticking up. Usually my hair will last me a few days. My hair did come down by the end of the night unfortunately. Regardless my hair still looked great even at the end, unfortunately, just different from the initial. I did receive compliments throughout the day at the wedding I attended.

Suzette Avilez I moved to Houston 2 months ago and have been looking for a great blow out bar , I have thick curly hair and it takes alot of work to get a good result. Ariel was my stylist today and she was amazing! Best blow out Ive had ! I was so impressed I signed up for the monthly club. I highly recommend Ariel !!

Michele Vandiver They were running very late and did not inform me when I arrived. They took me 29 mins past my appointment time. Had I been this late, they would have cancelled my appointment. This caused me to be 5 minutes late to my next appointment. The reception people did not apologize nor did the supervisor. The hair stylist apologized but I should have been informed when I arrived.

Kawsera Saboor Jesse was super awesome and very helpful. I havent done rebonding / Japanese straightening in over 5 years. She made it look naturally straight and my hair looks super healthy even after the first wash.

Sadie Larsen My son and husband both get their hair cut here regularly and love it. Jessie and her staff are so sweet. My husband actually used to go somewhere else but changed over to this salon after bringing my son for his scheduled cut. The women are friendly and do a great job.

Leona Ellankil Jessie was phenomenal! I typically never write google reviews but believe this deserves it. I went to do balayage with Jessie and she executed my vision. I didn’t want it too light and she definitely listened to my input. She also took her time with it. I came in at 4:30 pm and only finished around 9:45 and that was way over their closing time. I’ve been places where they would rush the hair due to closing but she really was patient and took very good care of the hair!

Brayden Allen Japanese hair straightening with hair cut and style. I ended up paying $100 over what was told but understand that because my hair is thick. I have done the Japanese straightening several times and it has always lasted about 8 months . Before she started she asked me if I dye my hair I explained I do not that it gets really light with natural highlights from the sun. She proceeded to apply the treatment and then pretty quickly went to remove it, not nearly as long as I have ever had it on before which I explained and she washed it out but saw it needed longer and put some more on but then took it out too soon again in my opinion. While doing this she said “ you really don’t dye your hair do you? I will make notes to leave it on longer next time “ I told her I was upset I didn’t believe it would last but she said it would. Then she used a fat flat iron and as my hair is thick and it’s important to do every strand I’ve never seen them do this and so quickly. When I left she said she would call to check on it. She never did and not even 2 months into it it is completely back to the same texture and waves I went in with. When I called she offered to do it for about the price I paid in the first place. Very disappointed. The fact that I called my husband and cousin when leaving telling them I knew it wasn’t done right and would not last is what is most upsetting. I’m not a cosmetologist but I knew it wasn’t right. I was kind and tried to be understanding but bottom line is she did not do her job. I wasted hard earned money for this. DO NOT RECOMMEND 0 stars!!

Chi Stasio I’ve been going to Amy’s at Amy Hieu Hair Salon for all my balayage and haircuts almost 10 years now. Never had found a better hairstylist in Houston! When I saw that Amy had relocated to the sugar land, I had to follow her despite living in Katy. If you’re in the Houston/Sugar Land area and need to get your haircut/colors, please ask for Amy at her new location at Angel’s Salon and Nail at William Trace!

Ping F Leann really worked her magic with my haircut and styling! From the moment I sat in her chair, it was clear she knew exactly what she was doing. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions about my hair goals, and then got to work. The cut itself was precise and flattering, with perfect layers that brought out the natural texture of my hair. She even showed me a few styling tricks to keep my hair looking its best. When she finished, I couldn’t believe how fresh and polished I looked—it was exactly what I was hoping for, if not better! Leann’s attention to detail and expertise made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. I’m so glad I trusted her with my hair!

Laura Marquez Trina was very kind! My hair feels and looks so much healthier now. She cut a lot of nice layers for me too. I would come back!

Celine Nguyen I drove over an hour to come see Amy at this salon!! I have super thick hair and wanted to thin it out, many hair stylists cant layer/thin the right way, but Amy does an excellent job! She kept the length i wanted it at but made my hair feel so much lighter! Will always come back to her and definitely recommend her and the salons service! (She only cut, this is my natural color!)

Nastasya Helen Liem DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET A HAIRCUT! Yes, their prices are cheap but you honestly get what you pay for. My hairdresser was Paul and I honestly don’t know how he even cut my hair. I’ve always had long, layered and V-shaped hair, and today I just wanted a trim with curtain bangs. First, he didn’t wash my hair or even spray my hair (which isn’t perfectly straight), so it was definitely cut unevenly. Then, he only spent exactly 12 minutes cutting my hair. Literally, I only spent 15 minutes in the salon including payment and getting seated. Paul even told me to leave after I asked him to fix it once. I was honestly soo embarassed to go out in public with this hair that I had to tie it in a ponytail. And, since the haircut was SO bad, I decided to drive all the way to Bellaire to ML2 to fix up my hair. I was very lucky that they accepted a walk in appt to fix my hair. Shoutout to the hairdresser at ML2 that spent more than 1 hour fixing my hair. Even though ML2 is more expensive, I would pay anything to fix up the haircut that Paul gave me because it was actually SO bad. I attached pictures in this post, so you all can be the judge on how bad the haircut actually was.

Mary HiCban This salon never failed me everytime i get my haircut. Inhave a very thick , wavy/kinky hair but they always manage to deliver what i want. I never had preferences with stylists. But whoever is available always does the job. Most recent is Henry, which i love love how he did my layers!

Saleema Kherani Amy is extremely talented. She did my whole hair highlights and I absolutely love it. I highly recommend color services specially highlights from Amy.

Bella Hawkins I’ve been coming here for years. Since I was a little girl. I love this place. I’m always greeted with open arms. May is truly the best with eyebrows. It took me a long time to find someone who I trust with my eyebrow. I’m very picky when it come to them. She truly does an amazing job and I always love the outcome.

Fnta777 I had a terrible experience with Aiilisha and wouldnt recommend her to anyone. I went in for my eyebrows, but she was extremely pushy, trying to upsell services I didnt want. She made rude and racist comments about my skin tone, saying my neck was "too dark," I have too "much discolorations", and mentioned racist remarks towards Mexicans and Vietnamese people. As a Black woman, I found her remarks offensive and unprofessional. She pressured me into a facial, claiming it was natural, and that it would make my skin turn into 1 color, but it turned out to be a harsh bleach treatment that left my skin red, irritated, and sensitive. No change whatsoever, Her hygiene was disgusting--she reused the same brush and products that she put on her other clients to put straight on my face; she didnt wash her hands after cutting someones hair before touching my face. While my eyes were closed from the strong mask, she applied henna to my eyebrows after I repeatedly told her not to, leaving them looking awful. Now my skin is irritated, and I even have bleach in the coner of my natural hair. Shes rude, racist, unhygienic, and pushy. Avoid her at all costs!

m m I’ve been coming her for the last 7 years to get highlights and alisha is always so attentive with detail and knows exactly what she’s talking about regarding hair care , the color lasts for months and always come out amazing!!

Shaver1 TMPCS Don’t go for a BOTOX treatment from her. She will put a chemical, and then straight ur hair thats it. (No straightening at all) Ruined my friend’s hair, started blaming on her that your hair were already damaged, When asked for the refund, she misbehaved that i worked on you, your hair was already burned before. Before doing that she was pushing her to get a treatment, even she offered so called discount. After that, she started passing racist comments that u people are like that and my 95% customers are white lol When asked for the name of that cheap product, she said thats my secret product i will not tell u, after many arguments she said i will send u the picture of the product She also mentioned, that you guys did not give me 2 million dollar

Bijfulani I had the misfortune of working with this lady and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly rude and dismissive. She barely acknowledged me, and when she did, it felt like I was a burden rather than a client. Her attitude was cold and unprofessional, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. Its clear she doesnt care about customer service or creating a welcoming environment. She was not attentive or respectful of my time, and I felt completely disregarded. If youre looking for someone who values professionalism and a positive attitude, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Alexus Lopez I officially love this salon. The owner is amazing! She is great at what she does. I have been visiting Ms. Alisha for brow threading for almost a year and I never walked out upset about her work! I definitely recommend!
