Ariel Jen I’ve been going to La nails for about 5 years. In my opinion they do the best job for the best price so I’ve stuck around despite how unprofessional they may be regarding appointment times and listening to how I may want my nails. However they’ve recently hired a young lady, she’s very sweet, so I’ve really contemplated writing this review for a while but at this point it’s been at my nails expense. Every time I go in I ask for a gel manicure, and recently for the past year I’ve gotten her 8 out of 10 times, I’m assuming they give her the “easier” nails to do such as gel, but I really believe she needs more training before she does any type of nails. Whenever I get her the paint job is so bad that there’s paint on my skin and with gel that causes them to lift and eventually break my real nails. I’ve grown out my nails pretty long and like to keep them that way but every and I mean every time she does them, they break, and that’s frustrating for me because I then have to start all over and try to grow them out again, and this has been happening all year. Again she’s a very sweet girl, doesn’t talk much, and I’m sure she’s trying her best but I’m sorry I just would rather they give her more training and keep her away from my nails. I feel bad for writing this review about her but I also feel worse every time my nails break. Take my advice and try to schedule an appointment with literally anyone else.

April Stone I have been going to Lena for almost a year now. I have never been so happy with my nails as I am with her. She’s amazing! She works fast but efficiently! Very sweet as well! Everyone in the shop is so nice. Shops clean. I’ve seen lots of regulars. I recommend for anybody who’s looking for a place to go and wants to be as happy with their nails as I am!!

L. M. Pedicure massage was great! However, she cannot polish. Looks as though a 2 year old polished my toenails. My acrylic fill was great, however, the woman that did my nails was not very nice. She said, her name was Kim. I dont think that was her name. She seemed reluctant to do my nails and was very short, irritated and agitated. Anything I asked if she could do, she would say, no. She also stated she couldnt match the color from the previous acrylic. Which she did have. I felt uncomfortable and from my perspective, she was trying to discourage me from getting my nails done at this place of business. I will not be returning. Moving from Austin, in comparison, Temple businesses need to work on their customer service.

Markevia Williams very bad experience.. twice now! also over charges for sloppy work, repeatedly had to redo my nails because they completely kept ignoring what i asked for. then made me pay full price even when i constantly told them i did not like my nails. very big & bulky & i asked for sharp square. plus this was a fill in :)

Nijia B Absolutely horrible job done I got my nails done last week and all my friends said I got scammed the lady didn’t listen when I told her I wasn’t satisfied and i was overcharged!! I will not be recommending this spot to anybody living & I mean that !!

Sabreena Leach If I could give 0 stars that’s exactly what it would be! I went there today and the lady who did my nails & toes was TERRIBLE!! My nails are all uneven and she missed part of the nails for dip powder, and when I said something about it the lady just shrugged and kept going. Then she told me my color was ugly and went to go pick one out herself and I wanted the color I chose!! I told the front desk about it and he didn’t say anything to me except here’s your total! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

rebecca I got a wonderful pedicure for a very good price. They were able to take two of us as walk-ins with no wait on a Monday afternoon. Friendly service, chill environment, and the massage chairs for pedicures were pretty nice.

Jorie Hartman Update:: Manicure came off within an hour; it never fully dried. I’m convinced they used a gel base and didn’t cure it. Definitely ticked. Went for a simple mani/pedi. When I mentioned I just wanted regular nail polish and not gel, the person seemed annoyed. I was nicked several times with the cuticle trimmers which was painful. I honestly could have painted my nails better myself. They left polish all over my fingers and toes and the nails themselves were clumpy. Overall just not a good experience.

RACHAEL V. PETERSON Best pedicure I have ever had, by LISA. She massaged my feet and legs, scrubbed my rough spots well and really put her heart into the work . . .I have never had a pedicure this thorough and with so much massage. Thank you, Lisa! Be sure to ask for her.

Tuesida Body My host ref number is 413216835099. I told him that i wanted my nails done like the first picture below. He immediately starts on my nails. Long story short, after he finishes with my nails. He stops and tells me that he can’t do it (shown in the last picture below). Like dude, that’s the kind of information you give someone before you begin on a paying customer nails. I paid 55$ of my money that i could have gone to another nails & spa place of business. I am requesting my full refund or see me in court!!!

Amanda Ogle I have 2 girls that went here, the first paid 65 tip and all and her nails are great (silver and nude), the second (red fench) turned out awful and the lady charged 70(that was with no tip). The red lady did some awful hearts and the nails are not consistent at all, different thickness, shape, and the were not at all what she wanted. The nail tech just kept saying she should get them the way she had hers but that wasnt what my daughter wanted and she wanted coffin shaped these are square. Needless to say we will probably not be coming back.

Monica Paz If i could of put 0 stars i would but we dont get that option. I had been here in the past to get a pedicure and the lady who did my pedicure did a great job but today when my daughter and I went in for pedicures and full sets. I was disappointed today. The nails look horrible. The older man who was doing my nails cut me 3 times while filing to shape my nails. Nails look horrible. I will not be back. I paid $224 for 2 pedicures and 2 set of nails.

Wanda Bustoz I have been a long time patron of this salon. They never let me down, from the warm welcome, special customer care offering beverages and snacks. Not to mention I always leave there feeling right. Thank you Nancy and all those that work so hard at what you do.

Taylor Henderson I do not normally write reviews! I understand that I am not a manicurist, I did not go to school for this profession. I do know how my nails grow, so when I tell you that it is going to lift if my cuticles are not pushed back and you say your cuticles are fine…this is three days later. the only thing she said was the glue will fill it. Now my cuticles are glued to my nail. On top of that it was a fill and she charged $60. I paid $65 for the full set the first time. Now this is the temple area I know other places will charge more. That day between me, my mom, and my daughter we spent $250

Lynn Reichl I have searched all through Temple tx and been to virtually every nail salon and have not found anything close to the relaxed atmosphere of Pretty and Pampered nails. I recommend Kasie or Hannah. Excellent work!

Jojo Ojoj They said it would be cheaper to file my already existing extensions and do the dip powder over them. Not only did they mess up with the application, but two nails have broken off in less than a week that I had to super glue back on, and one of them has lifted so far off my nail that its hanging on by a thread.

Sandy Butler Had my first pedicure, it was amazing! Ladies are very sweet and attentive. I love it! I would give more stars if I could. My feet look and feel wonderful.

Daniel J (Dexter) If I can give a 0 start I will do it, My wife went there on Friday 13 - 2024, She have the nails done, 2 of the nails broke the same day and 1 get damaged, their products are bad quality, she went back to have then fixed, they said that she have to wait from 3 to 4 hours to get the nails fixed and also she needs an appointment to do that, she did not need an appointment to get it done. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The Receptionist was super rude to Her.

Annie Kirkley 8 months ago I made a wonderful 4Star review below with this great photo of my dip. Weve been going for months and even started bringing my teen. Today though, I have to update them to two. I got a matte nail, which I know shows more... But the edges are all jagged, I have two nail beds that were cut and were still bleeding when I left. My daughter also got gel manicure, and though her lady was much nicer.... She also left with red nail beds and jagged polish edges. This is not the same service from many days ago. The sad part... I think the lady that butchered mine today... I think shes the owner and I felt very disappointed paying my $66 dollars to leave hurt and with a nail job that I could have done better myself. "The gentleman was very nice, careful, and detailed. Very pleased for trying a new place on a whim for some simple dip nails!! Next time I will also get a drink. :)"

monae one star!! the lady at the first desk was nice , but the way my nails was is CRAZY! the guy was rushing and not paying no attention to the shape that i asked for! my nails was lifting so fast and my mom is so mad her nails growing out so fast when we just got them done! also i thought i was getting talked about be some lady can over and talked to nails guy and pointed at me.. what am i going to think when happens.. im just a kid! my nails got dirty so fast!! NEVER IM NEVER going back there!

Alason Anderson The girl that did my service never really looked at me or responded when I spoke, EXCEPT to tell me I was done - nails were still wet. I felt like I was in the wrong to even ask about that once she responded. Paint was messed up by the time I got to the car. Nails are all messed up, very disappointing. As I reviewed the other comments, seems the responses are always blaming the customer and little effort is made to be improve. There are too many good places to even try to go back there

Tyler Pierce I’ve been coming here for about 2 years now, and I’ve loved every single set I’ve gotten. The cleanest, nicest, most time efficient (with attention to detail)… and not to mention?? Unbeatable prices. Nobody believes me when I tell them how much my sets cost, especially with add-ons. I HIGHLY recommend coming here!!! Every nail tech is extremely talented, and again… some of the sweetest people I’ve met.

Girl Bye I had one nail break on me right before my birthday and I couldnt go back to the original nail tech because shes booked and busy. You have to schedule two months out to even get on her schedule. I went here to have them repair the one nail and match it as closely as possible to my other nails. They didnt have the same rhinestones but they matched it closely to my current design. They were friendly and understood my dilemma. Great job! Now, you cant even tell the difference between the repaired nail and the rest. Birthday shenanigans continued...
