Laurie Andrews I had a great experience here! Both the techs who took care of me were great.I had an echo and a stress test. They both talked to me and made me feel at ease. I recommend this place for any cardiac testing. As a heath care worker my self (dental) I understand how hard it can be to make someone feel uncomfortable . If you need a payment plan call ahead, use the cost estimate and do your research. They were very accommodating and worked with me and were up front about my options. That made me feel better prepared for my visit. Thank you for taking care of me .

Erica Jackson My son had to have a looper monitor implanted for his heart. We were told that the procedure would occur at 1:30, and that we should be there an hour ahead of the appointment (which we were). An hour after the procedure time, I was told "40 minutes". It was over another hour. They are either overbooked or understaffed. It is obvious that they are more concerned with the payroll than they are for the care of their patients. I worry that this is indicative of a "hospital" (read: a building meant to squeeze blood from a turnip by holding your childs health hostage) that cares far more with keeping costs down, rather than keeping any sort of professional standard high.
From start to finish, the lack of professionalism and respect by the doctor and the staff was astounding. Additionally, when trying to give the hospital the chance to correct this foundational disrespect and foundational lack of professionalism, they didnt even see an issue. Because why would they? Were just peasants that should shut up and not complain. Dont bother calling the administration, as it takes DAYS for them to respond, and only if you call back repeatedly.
This was the first step in what will likely be a years long diagnosis and treatment plan. This was a MONITOR, not a CURE. My wife and I have decided that, in the interest of our sons health, we will need to cut ties with this facility, and are looking for a more professional/respectful cardiologist. We believe that the lack of has shown that we should expect substandard care from Heart Hospital. You wouldnt hire anyone else that showed up this late and acted like this. Hell, if WE had shown up too late, they would have turned us away and STILL charged us for the appointment.

Chemille X The staff here are nice, but holy heck is the information they send out for appointments WOEFULLY WRONG. So this review is about your appointment information.
Our text message reminder AND confirmation for our appointment called this, Heart Hospital of Austin, "Cardio Imaging" - do you have any idea how vague that is? No where does it mention "Heart Hospital of Austin" at all. Like even Google wont help with that vague of a search term of where I am supposed to go in this massive hospital. I was lucky I remembered my moms doctor said it would still be IN/attached to this hospital. I cant imagine folks who arent even told its attached/in THIS hospital. And the phone number for assistance provided in the text message appointment reminder? Also equally abysmal and useless. Its an appointment scheduling phone number. Its not the receptionist of this place. Its an entire separate entity strictly for scheduling appointments only AND those people WFH so they wouldnt even be able to help since they dont know the premises. I had to go back to our cardiologists suite to get the information - thats RIDICULOUS! Girlfriend at the front desk here even tells me that this is a regular occurrence that people cant find them or know where to go. Yall - THAT IS A PROBLEM THAT NEEDS FIXING. How are you - a hospital attachment - ACCESSIBLE if people cant find you? Dont have the name of the place to even Google the number or address? Like thats a huge accessibility liability - for a place attached to a HOSPITAL! Unbelievable that this has been ongoing so long that its a regular occurrence and no one, NOT A ONE, thought oh maybe lets actually provide accurate and useful information in appointment reminders. This is downright shameful. It is not that difficult to provide accurate and useful information for health appointments. Just fix this. I can only imagine how much more difficult this would be for folks without tech-savvy children, those who are disabled, or the elderly.

Paul Norrod Buyer BEWARE. If you get the Heart Saver CT. That is the cost of the SCAN ONLY. You will get a bill later for "reading" the scan which is many times the cost of the scan. This is not communicated in any way before the scan and is deceptive and non-transparent! It is also a cost that should be know upfront and communicated.

Jevon Anderson This hospital saved my husband’s life. He was in town for meetings, and was taken by ambulance from a smaller hospital in Georgetown. The skilled surgeons would not quit until my husband’s life was saved. The nurse to patient ratio was good. He was well taken care of…all the other things, rude intake staff, billing issues, lack of parking and confusing signage, etc pale in comparison by the skill and compassion of the people who gave my husband a new lease on life.
