Jeannie Cummings I highly recommend Dr. Richard Roby to anyone needing a PCP. Dr. Roby is an excellent physician who truly knows and values his patients as individuals. I am always greeted by name and we have a conversation about my late husband who was his patient. He always thoroughly goes over my lab or other test results. He reviews my medication and supplements and gives me needed information about them, even ones that are prescribed by my specialist doctors. He listens and answers any questions that I may have. He or his nurse will contact me as a follow up when I have been ill.

Citlally Sánchez My sister got in a car crash incident and she was hurt. The nurses were okay while taking care of her but the main problem I had with them was that we requested a pillow and a water and the nurses dint bring it in until a few hours later. They were also not very helpful. They were more worried about giving us the cost of the ambulance and the treatment. They also take long periods of time to come and check on her and make sure she was okay. They never came to apply some treatment on her skin since she was bleeding. This service is awful, and I felt like my sister was not take care of how she should have been. There is no excuse for not being able to come in just from time to time to ask how my sister was doing and making sure her cuts were okay. It doesn’t take long. This made me and my family felt like the only thing more important than my sister at the moment was money. There are definitely better hospitals than this one. Please do better next time. Thank you.

J Staib My doctor quit the practice months before my appointment, was never notified, went to my appt. and they still hadn’t assigned me a new doctor. Was only able to talk to a nurse PA for my Leukemia appt! If that wasn’t bad enough, I was (finally) assigned a new doctor (Usrey), made an appt. five months in advance, and then less than a week before my appt., they changed the time by 30 mins and switched me to ANOTHER nurse PA! Newsflash for (No)Hope Cancer center: Cancer patients don’t want to talk to PAs, they want real Oncologists! The worst communication and practice ever. Cancelled my appointment, they don’t deserve my business. Sad, because I absolutely love all the nurses. They are kind and caring—but they aren’t oncologists.

Kenni Wallace I strongly advise against taking your loved ones here. My husband was hospitalized for a random seizure and stayed for two nights, during which we received inconsistent and often contradictory information. The neurologist refused to diagnose him with epilepsy, citing insufficient evidence for a seizure, yet prescribed seizure control medication regardless. She spent less than 10 minutes in his room, appeared rushed and dismissive, and offered vague, unhelpful answers to critical questions. For instance, when I asked when to call 911 in the event of another seizure, her response was, “You can. You don’t have to.” Before even speaking with us directly, she started him on medication, only to suggest a 24-hour EEG the following day. When I questioned the usefulness of the test given the medication had already been administered, she agreed it wouldn’t be effective, and the test was canceled. A month later, the outpatient neurologist we were referred to immediately diagnosed my husband with textbook temporal lobe epilepsy and provided comprehensive resources, including a folder with clear instructions and a flowchart for managing future seizures. This level of care was a stark contrast to our hospital experience (Dr. Gina Jetter - strongly recommend). Additionally, the majority of the nurses assigned to his room were dismissive and demonstrated poor bedside manner, often appearing irritated when we used the call button. Only one stood out as compassionate and professional (Cassie from 4WC - you were amazing. The cardiologist was great as well. They were the only positive parts of our whole experience). I must also highlight the outrageous bills we now face from this visit, despite receiving no answers and even more minimal useful information to help manage future occurrences. Overall, our experience with this hospital was shocking and deeply disappointing. Should we require emergency services again, we will unequivocally choose Christus instead.

Sharanda Bishop This is the best hospital experience Ive ever had. From the receptionist all the way to my discharge nurse. My intake nurse was a real nice young man. He was attentive and showed his concern. My blood pressure was extremely high and he immediately started putting things together to get me taken care of. He went and got Dr Brown. He came in and started assessing me. He immediately got me a bed in emergency and had his team to start my medical care. I had basically no wait time. Ive never had an emergency care physician to show such care for his patients before. His whole staff seemed to emulate him. The nurses and the techs all had great bedside manner. The radiology department was just as nice. I love it when people act like they love their jobs and want to be there. I had to stay over night. So I I was transferred to the 6th floor for observation. Those nurses and techs were just as nice! Im not good at names (although they did each tell me their names) but I want to give a shout out to all of the 6th floor nurses and techs. I can remember a couple of the names because they were familiar names for me. So Dominique (nurse) and Kane (tech), God bless you for making my stay great by the care you gave and just sticking your head in my door and asking "do you need anything". You have no idea how good that made me feel. I want to thank the lab tech who came in the middle of the night to draw blood from me. I didnt want to do it, but she talked me through it and didnt hurt me at all. She had gotten the blood before I even knew it. The food was fabulous. I expected typical no taste or bad poorly seasoned hospital food. That was not what they served me. I received well prepared meals 3 times a day. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. I hope I never have to go to the hospital again, but if I do, this is my hospital of choice. A place where I know I can expect excellent care from the moment I arrive to the moment I leave! S. Odette

Nick S Terrible experience. They lied to me about my insurance coverage. Sent me to their partner company for physical therapy. Both companies told me my insurance covered the visits, which they were partially covered. Received a bill afterwards for the deductible amount, so the visits were not covered completely. Luckily I only went to 4 or 5 out of the 36 visits they had me scheduled. I was not charged until after I decided to no longer go, so it was only a couple hundred dollars instead of a couple thousand. Find a better company that is honest, this one definitely can not be trusted.

D P When they first open, it was a good clinic now it’s all about business and sales. Most of the good doctors have left. Multiple false charges to the insurance company. Trying to get them to pay for items that we’re not done and now I’m getting sales calls trying to get my insurance to pay for vital monitoring devices that was never discussed with the doctor yet I get sales calls so now they give your information out to others. Finance business department never returns Phone calls after multiple attempts even went into the office in person. Just sit there for 45 minutes. Finally left asked to send email information and she doesn’t in regards to false charges turned over to collections, paid since it was only a $30 copay, which caused me to investigate where I found all the other information described above, I was going to let this go due to convenience of location but now sales calls time to move on to another doctor since mine left the office, New doctor is just OK but all these additional issues it’s not worth it.

gail binder Have been a patient of Dr. Merritt for over 25 years. Compassionate, knowledgeable, actually listens to her patients. Melinda and Shonda always call me back, send in my prescriptions almost immediately and actually make me feel that they “Care”. Yes, phone service can be frustrating.

Linda minor Dr Dorothy Merritt has been my physician for a long time, and she is wonderful. She’s so very knowledgeable and friendly. Her nurses Melinda and Shonda are fantastic. They make up her right hand. They are always there to help and return phone calls or place prescriptions very quickly. I’m in good with with all of them. Thank you ladies.

Beth Hammett Excellent care! Diane really listens, offers treatments and options, and cares about her patients. The staff is considerate and helpful. My wait time was approximately 10 minutes. I like that I can make an appointment, access records, etc... online and that text messages remind me of appointments. Im very pleased with the level of care received over the years.

Reiko Brown I stopped, Toepperwein Rd location, to inquire about the free testing listed on their website and greeted the female at the front desk, who didn’t speak back nor smiled. She kept a very stern face and informed me I would need a referral and labs, that it’s not for insurance purposes but their policy. My suggestion is to not state on your site that you offer free high blood pressure or kidney function testing if patients need a referral. If our primary physician is referring us to you, obviously our numbers are not where they should be & we’ll have a referral for this, not the free testing. Also, place friendlier faces at the front since they are our first impression of the establishment. I would never recommend anyone here. It’s bad enough we are dealing with medical concerns, we don’t need a bad attitude as we enter.

Janice Marks My first visit was December 11, 2024. Everyone was so nice, no problem. I liked Dr Zuman, I will change doctors because I preferred morning appointment and Dr Zuman doesn’t have morning appointments. The nurse in the lab is very good. I highly recommend this office.

Uchenna Q. The wait time here is ridiculous..50 mins to an hour wait to see the doctor. The only thing the staff says is ‘there’s a patient before you’. Then I’m thinking I should wait in the room forever?? Still waiting and very upset.*PS* My doctor is great! The only reason I’m still waiting to see him. I’m still waiting and I hear another patient complaining... his apt is for 1045am and mine is 1030am.. Update-: I’m still waiting here...almost 2 hours since I arrived. Total wait time in the room 1 and half hours..the staff here is SO rude! No apology whatsoever.. another staff said to me ‘there is a patient before you’, when I complained. No apology! No nothing! I have been fasting since last night just Incase they’ll draw labs. It is 12:30 pm- lunch time and these staff are so insensitive! The definitely need to be changed! All of them!
